A random stop that was a great find. We were able to taste the range of different pours. These guys are doing a fantastic job, with meads ranging from easy sippers to complex flavors. Looking forward to coming back here.

Fun! Safe area in Poughkeepsie. I recommend the flights... all of them! It was a good way to try the many flavors of mead.

Back when Slate Point first opened in 2020, I would order online & pick up my purchase at their tasting room on Main Street. I tried all of their available varieties (at the time) that way. Recently, I stumbled upon their new mead expressions at places in Grand Central Terminal (Taste NY, Frankie's hot dogs, & Central Market sandwich shop), such as a tart dry sparkling mead tinged w/ green tea, & a smooth, light, off-dry bourbon barrel finished Mazer. I am once again impressed!

What a treasure! Comfortable decor, friendly mead master. Great way to spend some time on a Saturday. Went home with several bottles and a t- shirt. Can't wait to bring more friends so they can experience a lighter, more refreshing drink. Good luck in your new city location! See you soon!🙂

Great experience. Stopped in a couple minutes before they were supposed to close unfortunately but still managed to have a great experience! The gentleman let us try a few to find the perfect mead blend for us! I’ve tried multiple meads and they typically are too sweet for me but this was not super sweet but more like kombucha.

What an amazing place. My wife and I when there because we didn’t know much about mead. The owner Erick was so personable. We ordered flights. Everything was great. We even got bottles to go definitely going back. Highly recommend!!!!!!

I had an amazing experience at Slate point Meadery. I’ve never tried Mead and I was curious to learn more about it. After discussing with Eric the owner about the history of the process I was able to truly appreciate the great taste of what he and Slate Point Meadery to offer. The new tasting room in incredible. Today was the first day open, on National Mead Day! We had two flights of all 8 variations. All light and very flavorful. I had no idea Meadery could have so many flavor profiles and still be light and refreshing. We enjoyed all 8, and walked away with three bottles to have at home. Cannot wait to get back there!
