It was really good ,fast, and as ordered.

The staff here has always been friendly. The only thing I like more about the Scripps McDonalds over this one is the exit/parking lot. At the wrong hour you’ll be stuck waiting to make that right turn out and those cars are flying down Poway road.

This McDonald’s has the best food and service. We went on a Friday afternoon and the staff were so friendly and patient while they took our order. The drive through moved very fast. When we got our food it was hot and fresh. The fries were hot and crispy and the burgers were nicely assembled. No mess! Kudos to the Poway McDonald’s!

Typical McDonald’s experience. I don’t have it much lately becaus of the price point and I’m in Southern California so it’s usually in and out. But this was a good McDonald’s experience. They’ve got consistency locked down.

Everything about this place was wonderful — the decor, the staff, the food. I ordered a Moroccan-style chicken with couscous and harissa sauce. The flavors were bold and balanced. It felt like a homemade dish in the best possible way. Will definitely be bringing friends next time.

Expect to know how to use the ordering kiosk because the staff is busy preparing orders. The environment is clean, the staff friendly, but busy, and the good. There were no napkins for customers to access.

Ordered online and was ready fairly quickly when we got there. There are always good deals online. The fries and chicken nuggets were fresh and hot and my iced coffee was pretty tasty. Employees are super nice.

I can't be negative, all ok! A bit slow!! Coffee senior was good but not same taste as mira mesa blvd. Sausage biscuit very good. Same exact order mira mesa, 1 dollar less,Why!WHY!! I do not go to Mac for atmosphere.

Service is hit or miss. Sometimes really good customer service. Other times had to sit there with no one around waiting to order. Then when you order no one comes to the window till you see someone cleaning and they see you after 5 minutes.

This was a nice little McDonald's. The playground outside was a little cold, but my daughter played anyway. We had a long trip, and I wanted her to spend some time running around. It worked out okay, though I was disappointed with the navigation. It said the restaurant was 11 miles from our hotel and took me about 15 minutes to drive there, only to discover it was down the same road as our hotel. I accidentally turned the wrong way, and the navigation redirected me. It took four minutes to get back to my hotel. That was pretty frustrating.

This is my favor McDonald's because their is plenty of parking space, good service and they always keep the place so clean and tidy. The workers are very nice too, they treat the place like their own store and always willing to help.

When the drive thru isn't insanely packed, you get your order most of the time. Don't order a quarter pounder burger here though. Aside from clogging your arteries with delicious goodness, they will take almost half an hour making it, or will never bring it to you.

If you are visiting from the South...dont stop for the sweet tea. Normally it all taste the same no matter where the McDonalds is located...not this time. Co-worker stated coffee was cold each day.

Seems like they are short sauce or are trying to hoard it. Ask for 4 ranches 4 sweet and sour and 2 bbq's. Told then ill pay extra for the sauces. I get 3 ranches. And a he'll of a attitude when i ask for the rest of my sauce. Which they first just gave me 3 extra sweet and sour....had to say again all the sauces i orderd and got a big sigh and a quick heavy handing of the sauce to me. Not sure if theres a sauce shortage or what some employees problems are with givinf extra sauce that i paid extra for. So hard to get the sauce you want....yes ill pay for extra sauce. Even said i would when i orderd. I need more then 3 ranches for 20 nuggets and 2 fries. I know it seems dumb. But who wants dry nuggets and fries. And its being split between 3 people. Lotta different taste. They are normally quick and polite....just not when you want extra sauce.

I got food from here yesterday and the burger was good, a few weeks back the frys were see through and the burger was okay at best, this Mcdonald's usually ok though they often get my order wrong and I have to get back which is usually quite inconvenient. The food is usually never the same as the last time as wether that's a good or bad thing depends on the last time you visited, usually food leans to better than worse but it's still very inconsistent.

This franchise is hit or miss , easy to get in and out of but the quality of food is never the same , as well as the attitude s of the staff , some times it is awesome and other times it is horrible . You never know what you are going to get . The older ladies that work there are awesome the young kids are lackluster. It's a toss up . So they get three stars

We got drive thru, late night was glad it stays open late. They were very busy, got thru it fairly quick. They did forget sauce for the Chicken McNuggets...not cool. Also had to make sure we got all our food, cause they didn't know what we ordered. Given all that we got our food and were good.

This place is okay, it has a cool play ground and there is some cool modern seating inside. Service was good.

Pulled into the drive-thru, had the standard request if I was using the mobile app, no. Then they proceeded to help two seperate vehicles in the other lane that pulled up after I did. Eventually they came back to yhe correct speaker and when I asked why, she asked me if I wanted anything. Overall, rude customer experience and not understanding basic line etiquette. Expectations are low for McDonald's but somehow they are now lower for this location.

This is the slowest McDonald's I've ever been to in my life. Literally waited 20 min curbside for two mcvalue meals and a double cheeseburger. I had go inside and then they started making my order. And I ordered on the app. So I don't really understand the hold up.

I’m just amazed that our McDonald’s in AZ don’t have the quality food as San Diego .This place has flies , tables are not clean I have to call one of the staff to clean it , they scream the numbers , and the smell is like a bathroom smell omg! In San Diego , clean , pleasant stuff , hot food served , you can taste the freshness of the food and the servers are pleasant . So my question is why is the quality of the food of McDonald’s here in AZ poor ? Btw, the location of McDonald’s I am talking about is at north country club and mesa drive !!!

Every single time I go in the drive thru, they pull me immediately into a parking spot to wait excessive times for even just a large fry. This is bad service. It's clear that this store only wants to focus on numbers such as window wait times. Poor way of satisfying customers and pushing numbers. Just get better staff that can work more productively. Food is just about the same as every other McDonalds. Satisfies the cravings.

2 starts for not heaving the ice coffe ready. I have to wait for 5min. When they said that it should be ready 2 min. Also, the burgers are so, so, so. And another so small. Everything was reduced. Including the service. Actually that was not reduced because it took more time for my order to be ready, but you get my point.

Person at the front turned back to us and walked away. Okay, we'll use the kiosk to order. Got soft serve...best thing about this place! No napkins out anywhere. Had to ask for them from behind the counter where again, no one is there.

Okay, the fries are good but unhealthy, so if you're just going for the fries like me then go get em. BUT. I ordered a plain cheeseburger here and expected cheese, meat, lettuce, tomatoes, etc. They handed me a thin, tasteless meat patty between two cold buns. The quality of the food, which everyone knows how it is, is not good in my opinion. I only like McDonald's ice cream, but I only ate the bad and leftover ice cream at this branch, and it really makes me wonder why only this branch sells leftover ice cream.

Come to this location 1-2 times per week and they get the order right about 50% of the time. Why is it so hard for many McDonald's locations to get orders right?

This is the 3 times I go to this Macdonal this week and they are always with an angry face, they are very unprofessional, and has horrible service, today January 11 I went for a breakfast with pancakes and clearly said no sausage and no bacon add cheese and extra eggs, and I notice the have bacon and sausage when I was halfway to my work when I notice I drive back and when I arrived at the second window I took my breakfast out she put her face outside the window and told me what happened with a rough tone, I explained to her kindly and she turned around and took my food to fix it then I was going to leave but I check my food again and surprise they didn't put the cheese the they charged me , I quickly told her and she didn't care she turned around and left, I called her again and I'm almost sure that she her me but she ignore me I told her that the cheese was missing. SHe looked at me and turned her eyes on me and not saying anything left, I waited for my cheese and I didn't want to say anything because I didn't want my day to be ruined by such unpleasant people. I proceeded to leave, please be professional and give a better customer service if you don't like your job, then don't work, Because of you, I was late for work, You could do a better job or at least apologize for being so rude. I don't know if the one who attended me is a manager but I was in the second window between 7:50 and 8:20 a.m.

Drive thru menus haven't been working for quite sometime (at least 3 months). Have stopped multiple times in the evenings over the past 6 months for mcflurry's and every single time they say "unfortunately our ice cream isn't working rn." Clearly management doesn't want to put time or effort into this location. Blacklisted. Will only go to Scripps Ranch location now because If they can't keep their signs and appliances in ẅorking order, I imagine they also have lack of care in other areas.

I asked for a Mocha and was handed a Caramel. The receipt showed mocha. The guy looked like the manager. I didn't have time to wait for it to be remade so I took it.

This MD used to be a Gold Star fast food service. It was early morning and I was only car but still took 20 minutes for food and the air from the window smelled like septic.

When restaraunts started taking ebt, I thought it was a win-win for everyone. Homeless people would finally get a hot meal, and the restaurant would be able to make a lot more money. This McDonald's stopped accepting ebt. I guess someone must have slipped them a fake food stamp. Sad day when you turn money away, even if it's from a hungry homeless person. Shame on you, McDonald's.

I'm giving this Poway store 2 stars because of their Diet Coke. As soon as corporate allowed the price increase from 99 cents, this store has jacked it up to $3, more than other McDonalds in the area.. Because of the great price, I used to regularly stop by for a soda, often leading me to buy other stuff as well. Now I don't do that, and the store has lost money from me, and im sure from others as well. Other than that, the service is great, everyone is super nice. Just needs a new franchise owner/manager.

They took away EBT. Only had my EBT and needed something to eat. But was told no to the EBT, which I have used many times there before. Asked if the system was down and just got “no more for good” responded back. I stood there feeling rejected and had to walk out because we only have $1 to our name at the moment. Frustrating that it’s not posted anywhere saying no more EBT accepted. Thanks for sticking it to the poor man. Normally we have good experiences at this location. It’s always clean and they never mess up orders and everyone is nice. So I’ll still go if I have cash. But just want to warn others.

Drive thru attendant was friendly Did not greet with hello you total is or nothing .Had to ask for a drink tray (4 drinks) and napkins to wipe off the super messy sodas that was handed to me Fries where cold and very hard (old). Burger was ok it could have been warm.

They ran out of lemonade and tried to substitute it with water and not tell us. Then we ordered iced tea with lots of ice. It barely had any ice. When we had them pour some tea out and add more ice, they poured the ice out and added more tea. By the end of it the lady at the window was clearly as angry with us as we were with her. We just wanted what we ordered though.

Wanted to charge me for a ranch packet, i ordered through the app, the app doesn't charge for ranch.

Today I walk to this restaurant and it was 15 minutes before 10 and they already closed the doors and didn't give me the cookie that I walked so far for but they were still giving the drive-through people their food and taking orders. Basically the supervisors or managers there like the close their doors around 9:40. There was a gentleman who worked there but he was too busy vaping and blowing smoke in my face on his 10 minute break to try to help out around 9:50 . I wouldn't call that good service ... yourself a favor and go to other places like Jack-in-the-Box or winchells donuts. At least these establishments close at a reasonable time and don't blow vape/smoke in your face.

They take forever!!! Also picked a Grubhub order from there and they didn't even package it correctly. No drink hold and the drink spilled all out before I delivered it. YOU HAVE LAZY WORKERS!!

I called these people a total of 34 times on my way down from Ramona, trying to see if they take Apple Pay and they literally kept ignoring my calls. (See screenshot below). It would ring one time, sometimes twice and go straight to voice-mail. I called Dollar Tree down the street in between calls to ask the same brief question, and they picked up immediately. Today is 12-02-21 and its 1:30pm. They never answered and when I finally arrived to the drive through, the girl taking my order kept laughing and chatting in between my ordering. Seems like answering a phone call would've just got in the way of their playing-around time.🙄

If I could give this McDonald's a 0 I would without a doubt. The employee takes orders through the drive through for 2 cars and sends 3 cars away including me, he said "sorry dude we're closed" is that how McDonald's talks to their customers, super unappreciated that we want to eat there, this happened on 9/27/2017 at 10:00 PM, I'm very unsatisfied and horrible customer service. I got a quarter pounder with cheese and thfrench fries.not The quarter pounder tastes over salted, and the fries are not what they used to be, they are small and dried up. There are two female employees in this store who are very unfriendly. Every time I pick up the food, they both ask me to slide on my mobile phone first, don’t let me check my contacts’s order number, I don’t think they have the right to do this. Because it is my job, I have freedom, they are blatantly racist. It’s so bad! As long as they are working, I will not come back for dinner, nor will I introduce friends.

I usually wouldn't bother writing a review for a McDonald's. But the service I received at this location was subpar. I ordered via their mobile app and was informed,that my order didn't show up on their computer. No big deal, let me try it again. And again,it didn't go through. The manager asked, what I had ordered and after I told him, he argued with me, that those deals don't exist. I picked the 2 Big Macs for $5. So the manager is not too familiar with the mobile app I assume, which in my area of work would be unheard of for a manager to not be familiar with the companies own products. He just left the window and let one of his poor employees deal with the situation. The younger kid was very nice, albeit overwhelmed by the situation,and apologized profusely for the inconvenience. The manager did not offer any help and left the kid deal with it all by himself. Kudos to the kid. He had more leader qualities than the manager himself. After trying two more times without success I told them, to just forget about it. Drove to the branch a mile away, ordered with the app without any problems.

What a drop in service since last year. Came in with a coupon, two for one breakfast sandwitch coupon, which was denied. Apparently, the egg white sandwich was not included, I'm not sure. The attitude of the manager was cold and rude, would not explain to me. Was more interested in getting rid of me so she could get to the next customer. I walked out and tossed the coupons. It's very interesting that the very purpose of the coupon can be so easily reversed by a poor attitude.

Worst drive thru service I've ever experienced. I was skipped 4 times in the double drive thru. Everything I tried to order I was told to wait. I ended up backing out of the drive thru and leaving.

This McDonald’s does not have a changing station. We came with my kids because it had a kids play area. The kids play area is outside so it’s a bit dirtier than we are used to but with it being outside I figured it’s to be expected. But then it was time to change a diaper and there are no changing stations?! I had to go change my kids diaper in the trunk of the car. Why have a kids area and not set up support for the parents to take care of their children’s needs?

I know I shouldn't be going to fast food places but today I did and guess what ? A sign from God: do not ever go there.....A Giant cockroach was crawling at the pick up area/table inside at 01:27PM on 09/03/2021. Very rude elderly lady who was a manager at that time, hopefully health department will do some thing about that location and their cockroaches...... They just have to check the surveillance cameras and see all the commotion when I brought to their attention..... Glad that I have completed the survey...

I order on the app show up for curbside, can’t get my order. I go in, and they fight with me. They say I never paid for it and it’s in “staging”. Ok…. So you have a ticket for it and it shows it’s taken out of my account…. But I have to pay again? They won’t give me my order unless I pay again. Next “manager” says it was ordered too long ago. (29 minutes) apparently they throw away the food after 20 minutes if you aren’t there to get it and you have to pay again to get your food. Not the first time I’ve paid for my food and not been able to get it. I’ve lost $32 from ordering in the app. Management is argumentative and blaming it all on me. I’ve never had a place throw away food after 20 minutes if you aren’t there. I was at the hospital with someone and that’s all he wanted for his first big meal so I ordered online. The travel was a bit delayed but I was there in 29 minutes after ordering. I’m not looking for free food or anything but to be argumentative and blaming me and demanding a new payment…. is not how to handle things. Won’t be back.

The worst experience ever. First off their drive thru “ fast food” menu has been broken for at least three months. So I had to go inside to order. I ordered two happy meals and two sandwiches and a large frye for myself. But checked the bag and the fry wasn’t even half filled. So basically a small fry in a large container for $4.19. So I turned around and went to the counter to ask for a refund. The manager was totally rude as if it were my fault. So unprofessional and she was verbally attacking me and told me to shut up and not to talk. Threatening to call the police because I wanted a refund. I did get the refund, but the point is that all you had to do was fill my fries to the size I ordered. But she was verbally abusive so I demanded a refund. I will never go back there, I’ll drive 10 more mile to a different McDonald’s for my kids to get their unhappy meal from now on.

Today I paid $7.29 for a BACON Cajon Ranch Crispy sandwhich in the drive through but they didn't put any BACON on the sandwhich! Being paid $20 / hour, you'd think they'd pay better attention to the order! I hope the manager contacts for to rectify this.

I was in drive thru, I was saying hello for them to listen my order. I called " hello" more than 15 times but they didn't even take my order till the end, I was surprised why they took the order behind me... When I was asking to take my order at the end, she talks in Spanish with other guy😂🙏I did not know till the end that Mexican lady showed racism on me but took the order behind my car. It was very disrespectful and disappointing to know that how bad McDonald's customer service is??!!

This McD's sucks. The last 3 ordrs have been incorrect and overall unedible. Tonight was the final straw and of course they do not answer their phone it rings off the hook. First time it was a sausage mc griddle and we got a sausage egg and cheese mc griddle (didn’t answer the phone then either).. next time it was french fries that were not even cooked (soggy and full of oil - manager handed that order out the window cause they were pushing them thru with a long line of cars, tonight again..and they don't/won't answer the phone. Ordered a chicken mcnugget 6 pc happy meal, got home 45 mins later in traffic to open it up and get a special order hamburger with no onions add cheese. The price of a HM with 6pc chicken nuggets is a lot more expensive then that hamburger I showed up with. Stay away from this McDs.. half the time in the AM on the way to work they can only serve drinks because they have no cook for breakfast items. Owner, McD's corporate needs to look into this restaurant!! And if your phone is RINGING!! ANSWER IT!! Drive thru guy kept yelling where is my food.. and complaining the drink machine was having issues. Maybe he should have been doing some QC before sending orders out his window.

We go to this McDonald’s at least once a week. We usually do not have any issues. Went thru the drive thru at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, 9/9/25. Sat in a long line which seemed like forever with a hangry toddler who was losing his mind. Highly unusual for this location. Went to the first window where we always pay, Hispanic woman was in there but on the phone. No eye contact, no communication whatsoever, didn’t even open the window. Sat there for several minutes. I finally got her attention & signaled if I needed to drive up to the next window. She shook her head yes. Um ok that would have been nice to know 5 minutes earlier. Get to the second window to pay, asked the Hispanic male working what was going on. He said there was no one there? Huh? Told him how I sat at the last window for several minutes and it just would have been nice to know that I needed to come to this window because someone WAS at the first window. He just replied, “yea she’s trying to fix something “. No apology, had an attitude with me & was not even really listening to me, just continued making drinks or whatever he was doing. A simple apology would of went a long way instead of having an attitude with us. And if that woman in the first window just would have directed people to pull to the next window maybe the line wouldn’t have been so backed up.

Ordered a cheese burger with no meat and they literally gave me a meat patty with ketchup on it. Sort of feels like they did it on purpose. I understand it's weird to order a burger without the meat but eh, I'm saving you money but come on. 8/15/25 Placed an online order and it was not there when it was supposed to be picked up. I was told I ordered from the wrong McDonald's but looking at my receipt, I indeed ordered from the correct location. The lady told me to cancel my order through the app but I don't even see an option for that on the app so overall, really bad experience and I will not be coming back

What it comes down to with McDonald’s is the overall value for the food and do I get the deal when I want it how I want it served when I want it how I like it chances are one of these are gonna be off if not all of them today, I went into McDonald’s looking for a deal. I’m just french fries and maybe even just a small cheeseburgerrealizing that the only reason why I would order such a small thing is they don’t get anything right I’ll only trust them with the smallest amount of business only to be found out and realize that they don’t even have the deal that I want so I have to write them a total failure totally dissatisfied for even stopping in and walking 15 minutes. out of my way. newspapers will even tell me that this is becoming to all two more familiar vibe visiting them out of McDonald’s abroad

I ordered bagel steak egg and i got this. I dont know if they didn't saw that is is burnt or they just dont care. This sandwich ain't cheap. I wasn't able to go back and exchange it for a fresh one coz im already at work. Disappointing.

Would rate this place lower if i could. First of all, they did not honor my survey code. Lady said i could only redeem survey with another purchase, but I have never encountered this issue before. I am usually able to redeem survey code immediately after i take the time to do it. Second, my friend almost got sent to hospital because he was choke on cartilage in chicken nugget. i complained and the lady said i could only get 4 more nugget. Not even a refund!! Very upset considering he almost DIED!! Lemonade tasted like dog pee. Service is slow and they do not care about you. However, ambience was nice, I enjoyed the constant beeping and the unruly large folk becoming increasingly upset at the lack luster service. It was so bad, a child waiting for the food attempted to breach the front line to bravely retrieve the food himself. Godspeed my friend godspeed. Also I stole this and do not plan on returning it anytime soon

Really I never see any McDonald’s like this. Most of the place is very kind with a customer except this branch. This is not even the first time. I just come couple times in here and all of them they have attitude. I don’t know why I’m sorry I’m saying it maybe because all the workers, Spanish l hope not because I’m foreign from different country also 🙏🏻💐
