Ordered soft serve in a cup & large dipped cone through the drive thru, fast service. Really appreciated the dedication to dip the large cone in chocolate. It kept falling into the syrup but with perseverance and high quality customer service they got me what I ordered.

Dairy Queen is a national fast food chain serving burgers, fries and specializing in ice cream related desserts. Good food and fast service. Most locations rate better than this one. It wasn't as neat and clean as most, but the food was still good. Shown on billboards as "The Texas Stop Sign", you will find them in most towns, of any size, in Texas.

This Dairy Queen desperately needs a makeover for many reasons. I am a truck driver for more than a decade who lives in the RGV thus I pass through Premont all the time. Every single time I stop at this DQ there is always something wrong, either order is wrong, items missing from order, service is bland or down right bad. My most recent stop I ordered a Country Fried Steak basket and a small Ice Cream. Seems they forgot about my order because it took 18 minutes for me to get the order. I noticed they actually gave my order (which was already done) to a drive thru customer (walked inside for take out). Wasn't until I finally walked up to the counter to ask about my order when the manager (grey shirt) gave a face of "oh snap forgot about this guy". She yelled out "Those steak fingers done?" to where I noticed the young kid cook make a face of "already gave them to you". Manager gave an intense stare which cook right away understood to make some more. What is the main issue? No apology. No courtesy, no empathy...nothing. When order was finally done, almost 20 min later (mind you it is "SUPPOSE" to be a fast food restaurant) she simply placed the order on my table with no word, no eye contact and simply turned around and went back behind counter. As I stated, EVERYTIME I stop by something always goes wrong. Restaurant looks old, needs for franchise owner to invest in upgrading and/or modernize it as well as have better CUST SERVICE training for employees.

Loved the oreo mocha fudge blizzard. However i also ordered a water and the cashier closed the window on me and left and never came back. The corn dog seemed freshly made though

This DQ building is showing it's age. The counter has cracked in it. The ladies bathroom needs upgrades. Picked up a small cone, which was very big and some hot fries. The area behind the counter was a little dirty. There was a stack of ugly brown and black bananas. I wouldn't want to have any with bananas here. Staff was friendly. Not sure I will stop by again.

I am having the megaladon of poops and it only happens when I eat here. You know those where it feels like kidney stones, period cramps, and horrible trapped gas cramps wrapped up all in one, but you’re not even on your period and peeing fine? One of those. Like where you can feel that gas bubble slowly traveling south and getting heavier, and all you can do is bear it until it reaches the exit because don’t you dare try to fart too soon or all Hell will break loose. So you take your glasses off and put your phone down because you can’t even think enough to watch Tik Tok and can’t see enough through your tears to even need your glasses. So you just sit in the dark silently holding your tummy and rocking back and forth on the toilet like you’re straight up going in labor while you try to get what seems to be solid diarrhea out of your body. Then while you’re focusing so hard on making it out alive, you don’t even feel the nausea come on until those chicken strips are in your throat. Sweet Jesus I’m done with Dairy Queen. And you might be thinking “oh. Maybe you ate something else bad that day.” No. I thought so the first time this happened at this place, but this is the only place this happens to. Not to mention the Root Beer is always watered down, they never clean the tea containers so it always tastes old and bad, and they literally never get your order right.

Guess they think I want just a shell? Like really wth is wrong with them that’s just ignorant also asked for a small blizzard in a medium cup so it doesn’t spill guess what... that didn’t happen either

The Works Design and Construction

Came to get some food and Ice cream and they had no ice cream!!! No steak fingers and it was 9:15 and everyone looked like they had been cleaning up the kitchen so I don’t know if they really ran out of ice cream or just didn’t want to clean up again. Usually we can understand McDonald’s but Dairy Queen come on NO ICE CREAM?
