The food here is very fresh and very affordable, and the portions are really good. This has been the best Won-Ton soup I had in my 56 year's of life. I highly recommend it come and check it out!

Really good Chinese food and reasonably priced. The service is fantastic, our server was very friendly and efficient. We received very generous portions. It is located close to a car repair shop so is the perfect place to eat while waiting for smog check etc. Highly recommend this family owned restaurant.

I can't believe I've never rated this place before! I've been going here for over a decade and it's me favorite Chinese place ever! They even know me by my order at this point, and are able to guess what else I might like accordingly! Actually, this is just my favorite restaurant. Straight up. They catered my graduation. Great food, great family, great experience!!

One of the best restaurants in prundale, by far. I love coming here for full meals and sometimes just a specific dish to add to my dinner plans at home; I highly recommend bringing home the honey walnut shrimp to put on a nice salad you have ready. There are so many things to choose from you will never be bored with their menu. Do yourself a favor, take a night off and try Jim's.

Was so happy to drive off the highway to check, and see they are still open!!! This is one of the BEST restaurants in a 35 mile radius. Hidden right in Prune-tucky. The chef is WORLD CLASS and the dishes are surprising. This is a quiet, hidden success. Eat here. Order something. Eat that. Order more. Go again. Invite your friends next time. You will be pleased.

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Monterey County. Service is fast and surprisingly inexpensive for the high quality food. The owners are very kind. I tend to avoid restaurants, but this is one place actually enjoy spending my money. Highly recommended!

Jim's has the best steaks, and amazing Chinese food they make their sweet and sour sauce in house. And they do these awesome wonton chips that they give out with each order. We have been going there every weekend since we've found Jim's about 2 months ago. I think the owners know us by now lol. Every time we go there we try something new except my fiance and my son who are stuck to their usuals which are the cheese burger & the ribeye steak. Love this place best place in prunedale to eat. Food is amazing & a ton of it. It keeps us all 5 going back weekly.

Love this place! I eat here at least once a week and I'm currently making my way through the menu to try everything they make. So far I havent tried anything I wouldnt order again. Annie, the proprietor is always very friendly, knows me over the phone when I call in my orders so doesnt even have to ask for a name on the order. And she's very attentive from the second I walk in the door. This place should be a featured stop for anyone driving through Prunedale on the 101.

We got the A meal for 2 lots of choices you can pick from a list not set like other Chinese restaurants. All this food for $38! At other places not as good meat rubbery or quality not there and it’s $58-65!!

I came back home and still remember the table setting. Delicious, Fresh, Hot American Style Chinese food. The Egg rolls are a must try, fresh, delicious, and steaming hot ready to be dipped in sweet and sour sauce. Me and @831Peep had the hot and sour soup and delicious fresh fried Orange chicken. Perfectly fried and sauced for slow gentle bites in between the tea or your favorite beverage

My favorites were the beef and broccoli which was fresh and not soggy like some places, and the fried rice. The chicken chow mein was good too and the chicken was moist and perfectly cooked, not dry at all. I wish we lived closer! The inside is cutely decorated but nothing special, and it’s very casual. This is the place for good portions and fresh food though!

Wow, jims Chinese and American restaurant. Was driving to LA what a surprise hidden among the Denny's , Carl's junior and ihops is this little gem. The food is all fresh and obviously made with care. Can't recommend enough. Sorry for the pictures....we had already eaten half of it 😁

Food was piping hot like you hope for from a home cooked style meal. Everything was well done. Service was great. Very nice couple from Hong Kong. Started in SF and are sadly moving to Marina! We'll miss them! Little bit pricey for the Asian food, $10 a plate, but it is what it is. They also have American food which is cheaper, or even Italian! Kid friendly!

From the outside I was expecting fast food chineese. The food is top rate! I've had a Reuben sandwitch and Jim's special chowmain. Both were made from fresh materials and very tasty. An unexpected find while participating at an Agility Dog Show.

We have never had a bad meal. My husband tried the Mandarin chicken & really enjoyed it so much that it's become a favorite for him. I have enjoyed it & the mushrooms beef. It is take out only for now. Always friendly service.

The current owner is new to Prunedale with a new name for the restaurant, Annie's Place. I enjoyed my dinner of sweet and sour chicken with steamed white rice. My husband had broccoli beef. I would have liked to have seen more veggies in the chicken. The broccoli beef was loaded with broccoli.

Excellent Food. Service is family oriented. Reasonable prices. Would of given five stars if not for the owner sitting out in the dinning area with his laptop , not exactly what I want to see when dinning out. But other than that nice place.

I gave a review earlie how the food looked, don't going by the book's cover. Food wasn't bad. You remember the saying lost in America. Note the several names that should say something. Those who think this is wonderful never had any good Chinese cuisine. The prices are to high and the food is not good for what it's surpose to be, Chinese!. The restaurant if that's what you want to call it other then a hole in the wall. There is circulation, again its to small....

it's never consistent...and so desperate for buisness they rather give you old food or throw something together that isn't close to being what you're expecting and paying for... Some of the stuff is ok...but if they don't even care about serving really old Chinese food to people it's obviously not going to matter what else is old as long as they get your buisness they don't care especially if you order take out ...maybe dine in would be little better...but take out it's a total waste of money and will not feel safe about eating it...so still end up hungry wishing you got food somewhere else!

I think the people that work here are super nice and you’ll be treated so well. Only issue is the kitchen setup. It’s a little off putting and the restaurant seems unsanitary. I found a hair in my food so that was disappointing.

Sometimes the no egg veggie fried rice feels like prepared in vegetable oil and sometimes lard. For the first time I ordered the chicken wings but the shape of the wings made me wonder. I tried to bake the wings at home after making them into smaller pieces but I am still cautious. Since communication is an issue I should try asking using some translation software. I occasionally patronize this restaurant and have had an average opinion but this last time I did get an upset stomach.

I won a gift certificate to Jim's in Prunadale a while back and gave it as a thank you to someone today. They went to the restaurant with the intention of using it to pay for part of their dinner. The staff at Jim's in prunedale refused to accept the gift certificate. They were quite rude to the person who I gave I t to, and to myself when I called them on the phone to inquire why they didn't accept the gift certificate. In California gift certificates do not expire and they follow the business not the owner of the business. Their claim was it was no good because the business has a new owner...which is against the law. I will be contacting the owner tomorrow and see what they have to say as their staff said they were not in today. I have gone to Jim's in Seaside for over 10 years and have the best experiences ever and I am shocked at what happened at the prunedale location I never expected this from Jim's

Got two small plates of mixed veggies and a small bowl of rice. Bill was $53 (!!!) Discussed it with them. They dropped it to $29 (!!) Could’ve gotten the same for under $20 anywhere else. Pretty bland as well.

Food was good until I found a six inch black hair then I was disgusted in everything I had already consumed first and last time here

The chicken eggfoyung was the worse I have ever had took one bite I wish I took a picture .....it was sprouts grilled with eggs in it then had chicken broccoli and carrots on top with a lemon gravy that's not how it's suppose to be you are suppose to blend everything together grill then brown gravy with green onions on top ....we are never doing take out from them again.....if I was eating in their restaurant I would of returned it back to them .. Gave to chickens......darn forgot the picture
