Food on the beach is always great…. However the club sandwich was a little tired….. the lettuce was limp and the fries needed help. In terms of value for 💰the experience was questionable but where else can you get food served on the beach at reasonable prices. Yes I would recommend this venue.

While taking a short break from swimming, we enjoyed the fresh fruit salad that comes with a side of honey AND was surprised with a side of chocolate sauce. The fresh fruit with chocolate and honey was delicious for an afternoon snack on a hot day. We were greeted with complimentary warm Pita chips and refried beans. The Pico de Gallo was the perfect addition. Love this place!

This was the highest priced restaurant (because I ordered the fish if the day) that we ate at during our stay and it was absolutely worth it. Nice place right on the edge of the beach with attentive staff. We had their nachos, ceviche, and the fish of the day. Both the nachos and cerviche were good. The fish of the day was delicious. It's a whole fish that is baked and butterflied and they remove most of the bones. Its not very fishy and is seasoned great and is served with rice and a salad. It cost around $425 pesos but it was worth it. So highly recommended. The only downside is that since it is outdoors a lot of flys and birds kept coming around. The birds were a little aggressive landing on empty chairs.

Los camarones, filetes y aguachile muy buenos. Desgraciadamente el servicio es algo lento a pesar de tener a tanta gente en servicio.

Es bueno el restaurante, pero en sus bebidas, no son buenas. Lo más básico, piña colada y mojito te dan solo agua sin sabor, de verdad desagradable.

La comida esta muy rica con un excelente trato de parte del personal.

We visited Ola Mulata twice in two days. We were very impressed with presentation of the seafood platter for two. The flavours were great, but we were disappointed that the shrimps were not fresh, they tasted mushy. The wings were delicious, even though the menu said it's spicy wings, we had to put more Tabasco on it. Seafood salad was very salty. Best out of the experience was the view of the sunset on the beach was amazing.

Probably my favorite daytime restaurant at this Vidanta resort. Most things are very fresh and a bit different. My personal favorites were the jicama bowl and homemade popsicles. 4 stars because some of the things were regular poolside food, eg ola burrito was way too cheesy

The fresh grilled fish is ok, kind of pricey. The view of the beach is nice. They have happy hour until 3 pm which is pretty convenient. The service is very slow so I recommend to have an appetizer.

The smell was fantastic and reason why we decided to eat there. We ordered the red snapper zarandeado. For the price per kilo we paid, you would think that they would remove the fish scales, pay more attention to the fish preparation for all to be enjoyed but it was all left on. I haven’t been to any other restaurants where to fish scales were left on. That enough alone changed the way we normally get it and skin was thrown away cause of it. Also, service moved so slow. Took forever to get refills cause ice melts so fast. There’s definitely some room for service improvement. I would definitely not order the same thing

Not worthy. The portion of shrimps is very small. I asked for “aguachile de camarón” and “cóctel de camarón” and I just had 5 shrimps in each dish. The rice was not well cooked. Don’t come here! Solo 5 camarones cada platillo que ordené, malísimo, mejor elijan otra opción.

Comida bastante mala, sin sazón, el aguachile hecho con camarones cocidos. Pedí los tacos de panela guisados y fueron decepcionantes, la salsa pareciera de frasco, la combinación de ingredientes no era buena. Solamente los nachos nos parecieron ricos. Únicamente sirve para quitarte el hambre pero no es algo disfrutable. Es una pena que los meseros hagan una clara distinción entre clientes mexicanos y extranjeros, a los cuales sirven primero. Lo único positivo es la vista al mar, que es maravillosa.

Pésima atención y la comida un error. Si logran otra opción en otro lugar mucho mejor, la atención a turistas nacionales parece que no les importa aún cuando llegamos antes nos sirvieron al final. Pésimo lugar cero recomendable.
