Great food, nice room. This restaurant has withstood the test of time. I love the fish and chips. They make great burgers too. This is a very good place to have drinks and a bite to eat.
Food is unbelievable, service is fantastic, love the place has like an Adirondack feel, which is my favorite thing.
My wife and I love this place. It's cozy, has a great menu, and love the staff. It seems to attract locals who have been coming for years. Always good specials on rotation and large portions.
First visit after driving by a number of times and would definitely come back. The service was spot on, and the food itself was great in both presentation, timing, and taste.
Some of the best pub/comfort food I've had. Tuna melt on a croissant, amazing french onion soup, great burgers, even fried icecream. Been going here over 10 years now
Service was professional and friendly , the restaurant was fitting for the Christmas holidays and we were very comfortable as if it was our special place, we hadn't eaten all day so it was a big meal, calamari and warm soft pretzel for appetizers (perfect), broiled salmon, chicken melt, and beer can chicken, all were incredible. Encourage everyone to try this gem when in the area!
Really great bar food and fantastic wait staff. Been going here for a few years and haven't been disappointed! I've only had my order messed up once through a miscommunication and they corrected the problem quickly and pleasantly! 😊 Highly recommend for lunch or dinner!
Love this place. Owned and run by a wonderful family. The staff is always friendly. The food is great, there is something for everyone on the menu. A great place for a nice relaxing dinner. very family friendly.
Servers were great, food was good, place had a good atmosphere. Only concern was how small the bathroom was but i was able to work around it. Overall, good experience
My wife and I found this place by accident and we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Will definitely return.
Stopped in for a quick lunch with a co worker before driving back home to NJ after a meeting. Absolutely great French Onion soup, burger as well. Will be back for sure. Cool ambiance. It’s nice to see old school still
Great menu. Fabulous salads and burgers. Old fashioned tavern. Love it. Some of the staff, maybe the busing server? may want to take yoga or breathe a bit. Otherwise all were friendly and welcoming!
Service was outstanding Food (burgers, onion soup, sandwiches) were all really good We'll be returning.
Great food, spacious seating and there's not a big wait. Plenty of selections to choose from and they have bar service (just limited in seating at the bar). Portions are enough and the service is very friendly. Definitely a stop to make if you're in the area of Purchase, not too far out of downtown White Plains either.
I had the perfect grilled chicken ceasar wrap...and the French fries were delicious too. I loved the inside of this place. It made me think of the song "Brandy" I will definitely be back when I come to purchase again
This place has great food and the service is fantastic, as long as Craig (bald and glasses) is not behind the bar. Every time I visit this place when he is working the service is horrible. I usual give people the benefit of the doubt but he is always bad. But if you are looking for good food and reasonable priced drinks this is the spot. Food always hits the spot!!
Hidden gem! After a day at Boundless Adventures, my friends and I found The Cobblestone—and WOW, what a vibe. Cozy, quirky, and packed with charm. The walls are covered with novelty signs and trinkets that give it a homey, “local fav” vibe. Drinks? 10/10. The Aperol Spritz was crisp, the Moscow Mule had that real ginger beer kick, and the spicy Bloody Mary? Chefs kiss. We basically ordered the menu: • Juicy burger (comes on a roll—ask for veggies if you want!) • Addictive southwest egg rolls • Perfectly fried calamari & mozz sticks • Golden fries • Caesar salad • Flavor-packed French onion soup • Delicious salmon entrée Every bite fantastic. Bonus: They have a lotto machine, and playing after a few drinks? Hilarious. Service was top-tier—super friendly and on point. If you’re anywhere near Purchase, do yourself a favor and check this place out. You’ll want to come back. I know I do :)
Great tavern food - we had Chicken Sliders and Chicken Cobb salad. Friendly and clean -
On our way to Boston from NJ, we stopped at this place for dinner. Nice bar, Nice food and lovely atmosphere. The waiters were very polite, courteous and friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed the food- all of us in the family enjoyed the food (We were a group of 6). We highly recommend this place.
Always a visit when I am in town Delicious food, great service, professional employees.
Food was excellent. They were very very busy and handled it all very well
A Century of Flavor and Fortitude The Cobblestone Restaurant, a venerable institution nestled in Purchase, New York, stands as a testament to the enduring spirit of a community and the timeless allure of good food. For over a century, this establishment has weathered the storms of time, from global conflicts to economic upheavals, emerging each time as a steadfast beacon of comfort and hospitality. Established in the early 20th century, the Cobblestone has witnessed the world transform around it. Its walls could tell tales of roaring twenties jazz, the Great Depression's hardships, the echoes of World War II, and the tumultuous civil rights era. Yet, through it all, the restaurant has remained a constant, a place where people could gather, share stories, and find solace in familiar flavors. The Cobblestone is more than just a restaurant; it is a living archive of local history. Its original cobblestone exterior, a relic of a bygone era, is a tangible connection to the past. Inside, the warm, inviting atmosphere transports patrons back to a simpler time, where hearty meals and friendly conversation were the order of the day. The restaurant's longevity is a testament to its ability to adapt while preserving its core identity. It has evolved with the times, incorporating new dishes and trends while staying true to its classic roots. Beyond its historical significance, the Cobblestone is a beloved community gathering place. Generations of families have celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, and other milestones within its walls. It is a place where friendships are forged and bonds are strengthened. The restaurant's enduring popularity is a reflection of its ability to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone feels at home. As we look to the future, the Cobblestone continues to be a vital part of the Purchase community. It is a reminder of the importance of preserving our history while embracing the future. The restaurant's legacy is a source of inspiration, a testament to the power of human resilience, and a promise of enduring hospitality for generations to come.
great food..charming old decor
This is my go-to restaurant in the Purchase area. The food is consistently good and a service is consistently decent. I would highly recommend
Love this place! Comfortable relaxed atmosphere. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I have mini reunions with friends that I don't see often, which means a lot of talking for a long time. But we never feel rushed to eat and get out like at some restaurants. And if you're looking for comfort food, this is the place! Delicious!
Enjoyed a very nice lunch here with my girlfriend. The staff is hard working, accommodating, and very respectful. I felt that we received the right amount of attention without having an overbearing staff. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking to go for lunch or dinner. You will not be disappointed.
Seriously, this is a place worth the drive. It looks like the three bear's cottage on the outside, with warm walls and funky art and old advertisements on those walls. I had a special salmon with a Sriracha Honey sauce and my college age granddaughter had the Shrimp Po' boy wrap. Both excellent. A friendly , efficient wait staff and reasonable prices
The food was prepared elegantly with great speed. I had an incredible lamb burger with a greek salad. The flavor was perfectly matched with feta and pickled onion.
I have eaten here two times in the last four months. I had the DEVENSURE sandwich and the vegetable garden burger. Both were delicious. Their raspberry ice tea was also delicious. I came with a friend. She also enjoyed her food. Service was friendly.
Great. For a burger and fries + beer ! The Bacon cheeseburger & fries were very good. The service fast and cheerful . Lamburger on pita with Greek salad also nice. Great onion soup as well ! Back again for another lunch !
This establishment is very good. I have been their several times before COVID and recently. At the most recent time I found that the wait staff did not wear their masks. The food is and was very good. The best that I had is their Fish and Chips. Love it. The Pretzel and Onion Soup are also very good.
We are on a vacation and found this amazing place to eat! We ordered all appetizers 6 different ones to be exact and we were not disappointed. I highly recommend coming here to eat. Really nice staff and cozy place! If we ever come back to this area we will definitely come here again to eat.
Visited this place again and again & was pleased with the food and service! I am a bit boring ordering a bacon cheeseburger, fries, and beer ... never dissatisfied. Love to visit lunchtime when it is a bit quieter. The Philly cheese steak sandwich is also terrific... a bit greasy as it should be.
The Queen-sized prime rib is worth the trip from NYC or LI. Made an excellent martini. Place was packed with locals so you know the restaurant is good. Service on the slow side but what's your hurry. All dessert are worth taking back to the hotel or home because you are full after your prime rib. ( Certain days only) I want the King Sized Prime rib next time so YOU make sure you order it when you arrive early for a delicious treat. You will not be disappointed. Cozy, comfy old fashioned atmosphere there.
This place rocks! The owner is a gem, the food was fabtastic, drinks crisp. Waking into this restaraunt you could tell right away it was exactly what both my stomach and my soul was looking for.
Traveling through the area and what a great find this was! The food was delicious, the bowl of soup fed two and was also tasty. The cheesecake was rich and creamy. Excellent restaurant
This was our first visit....We walked in, and the atmosphere was very welcoming. Sharon was incredible and attentive to our every need. The food was delicious. You can tell everything here is homemade and made with love. Definitely will be returning.
This unassuming spot is super lively and welcoming. The food is pretty frikkin great and the drinks are reasonably priced. I got the biggest burger they had and it completely lived up to the hype (dollar bill for scale). If youre hungry and are in the mood for a burger, this is it. I was in White Plains for work and this place was a perfect place to wind down after a long day.
If you're coming here for "fine dining," you're in the wrong spot. If you're coming here for white glove service, you're in the wrong spot. If you're coming here for a homey joint filled with real people, you're in the right spot! The bar is the best place to belly up here. 3 mainstay bartenders will (eventually) get your drink poured, and keep it topped. They will remember you the next time you come in. The food is always tasty - the French onion soup and Reuben are EXCELLENT. Even if the fries are from the grocery store, they're crispy and hot. Cobble is our go to, and should be yours too.
Great local bar that's been here forever. Used to come here 40 years ago during college! Didn't eat anything but stored in for a late night cocktail. Bartender was very good.
People don't come here for the food. I mean look at the pictures and you'll see, it's just regular old crappy bar food. Nothing special about it whatsoever. People come here for the bar. That's right. The Cobble Stone bar is one of the best places to go on a cold winter night, huddle on up by the fire, get yourself a nice beer or cocoa with peppernibt schnapps and enjoy it.
Great place for casual dining. The staff amd food were great. Only one complaint, the bathrooms are horrible getting in the stall takes a great amount of flexibility to get up against the back wall ro close the door. And none for handicapped people.
The prices were good and the service great, but....the food was FABULOUS!!!! I didn't expect the size of the portions or just how flavorful it was. If we lived here, we'd eat here more often.
Burger was good, i don’t know why they used a poppy seed roll instead of a normal bun though.
Reliable lunch spot that you won't walk away hungry from. I've been eating here for years. It's neither the fastest, nor the fanciest place around, but it's my first choice when working at the nearby airport.
Waiter was a bit distracted and couldnt handle the tables. There was only one waiter working but it was not very crowded on a Saturday afternoon. Food however was phenomenal.
Food and service were good. Prices are what I'd expect in midtown Manhattan; i.e. a salad with walnuts, some fruit and higher-end cheese (I don't remember the details) but no meat, is 14 bucks. I'd still go back, but not as often if the prices were a little more reasonable.
Nice little pub. Super thick stone walls so no cell service so you actually have to tall to people. They have Spaten Oktoberfest on tap year round so it's a good place in my book. Kitchen is open every night until midnight and the food's standard pub grub.
A great gathering spot for friends. Out of the way from the chaos of the busy parts of town. A nice, classic establishment with fantastic staff. I went here on a whim just trying to find a spot for my friends and I to gather at last minute and we were not upset at all with anything about this place. We hung out at the bar area for the majority of the night and loved every minute of it. It made a cold winter night a little cozier for us.
I use to go to this bar many years ago in 1989 for lunch with my coworkers when we were constructing the new Keio school down the road a piece! It was a cold job at that time and the cobblestone was a great little warm town bar to have our lunch and get out of the cold for great food and drinks!! I'm sure it's under new ownership but it's nice to see it's still there! Happy New Year cobblestone many more years of business!!!
I only did take out food, but while I was waiting, I felt charmed by the warm atmosphere and character. The set up is like a tavern with various types of seating (tables/booths) and a bar stations smack in the middle. There were pieces of history hung up and an old timey jukebox. The place had a definite relaxed vibe. As for the food, yum! I'd like to try the dine in experience sometime, especially since the staff seemed super nice from my 10 minutes spent there.
This place has a real old tavern feel. It's been around forever and the decor is so cool to see. From the old school windows and woodwork to the wall hangings there is no shortage of history. The food is tavern affair and is delicious.
Old authentic restaurant with good bar food. Waiter was very polite and attentive. Food was also very good. No complaints. I will come back in the future.
Interesting only because it's a historical place, very dark and dreary atmosphere. Inside is all old heavy dark wood and kind of run down. Food and drinks were pretty good. Unfortunately, the Itty Bitty women's bathroom was especially bad. It looked like a single was converted into two stalls. Definitely not handicap friendly or even for anyone remotely overweight. The stall door literally must swing over the toilet seat to open or close, and the sink was ridiculously tiny as well.
I gave 4 stars because of menu and food experience was very good, which I had a feeling it would be. The ambiance however leaves something much to be desired and would lead you to believe otherwise about the food. Extremely dark and dingy and the lighting is very- how shall i say yellow and orange. Had a great time with new friends there so 4 stars from me all in all. I ordered a hanger steak iceberg wedge and it was terrific.
Very good Hamburgers and fries. Went with a friend who is a teacher at a local college. Quiet in booths for a conversation. Got crowded. We arrived circa noon and the place was empty By 1:30 when we left it was crowded. Hamburgers were what friend usually got. Excellent and cooked to order: rare A very pub-like place. Service was good and professional.
Nice local spot for lunch. Pretty decent beer can chicken and the fries are good. Soft pretzels are great but the honey mustard could be better… as well as the Dr. Pepper, it was a little watered down. Otherwise, the food was good. The service was very good and the waiters were very accommodating, even let us move tables when my little sister got scared of a bee on the window. Nice atmosphere as well 👍
First trip back here after a long layoff. The restaurant hasn't changed much, there are new waiters who are very attentive and the prime rib sandwich was very good. However the ribs were not. Drinks were made with a good pour. Will be back again, but it's not the go to place we once had
It’s an old place, and it has a lovely nostalgic feel to it. The food was fine, nothing remarkable but totally edible!
Been there many times. Great neighborhood pub. Pretty much everything is good…large potions, service, and an authentic 90+ yr old atmosphere.
We were in town and stopped by because of the reviews. Pretty funny seeing on the menu the have been in numerous shows. Ok. It was a Sunday afternoon and not too busy. So we got waters pretty quick and noticed a server running around really fast. Come to find out they only had two servers for the whole place. I say this as I don’t rate based on the lack of help as it is reality right now. We had an app and sandwiches. Food was great and the server worked his but off. Fun fact was seeing the cigarette machine in the bar area. Lots of stuff to look at. Be careful in the lot as it is tight. My only gripe is it was ridiculous hot outside and the side we sat on was freezing, the other side was warm. Just remember that it you don’t like it really cold.
First time here because we were in the area and like to try new places. The atmosphere was nice. Sat down and the waiter immediately wanted to take our drink order. Got our drinks but he forgot the side of ice my wife asked for twice. Then we waited quite a while before he came back to take our order which was confusing considering how fast he wanted to take our drink order. I decided to try the special burger even tho it was $24. The burger was good but the pastrami in the middle was cool and unfortunately fatty. The split pea soup was good. The wife got the French dip sandwich. She liked it even tho it had American cheese on it. Unfortunately she asked for onion rings and we didn't get them. Was a few .in before we could find the waiter to exchange them so we didnt bother. Over all a decent place but nothing special for us to want to make the trip back.
Four of us went for dinner for the first time, never been, had decent reviews. Plenty of parking. We walk in, and the sign says, "Wait to be seated." Place is not busy for a Friday night. 10 minutes and plenty of workers walking around and no one says anything. Finally, we get seated, and 15 minutes go by before someone comes over and brings water. Thanks. Another 15 before someone asks us if we want drinks. At this moment we tell him we're ready to order food also and takes our order. Food also took a while, but it was good. No one complained. I'd give it another chance. Another thing, lightning was terrible. We could barely see the menu.
I worked in Greenwich for 10+ years and had lunch at the Cobblestone frequently. Went tonight with my family and although the food was ok the service was terrible. At times all three waitresses were standing around talking or on their cell phones. Unless we flagged someone down no one was checking in on our table. The restaurant was not crowded and when we asked a waitress to please clear our plates my mom asked if our waitress left for the night. Turns out our waitress did not leave and came back over to our table to tell us she was busy counting money at the bar. Unprofessional and rude at best. Count your money when you close and service your customers. We will not be back.
Very good food and pretty good service. I think we’ll go back. The place is airy but dark. The portions were large and flavorful. I know, it isn’t the point but internet service sucks in the area and the WI-FI is free but rather suboptimal. I am new to the area and struggled to get my maps loaded to go home.
I've eaten here several times, my best advice is stay with soup and sandwiches, salads too for a good experience. The onion soup is very good. Tried the beer can chicken meal yesterday, it was dried out and over cooked. Think reheated. Rather disappointed.
Last two times food was only ok and understaffing caused long delays. You need more than 1 server. Rueben was full of indigestible dried ends Sorry but I’ll take a long wait with great food or short wait with ok food but not both.
Above average bar food (brisket and pulled pork are both good). Below-average beer list for a pub / grill. Reasonably pleasant and friendly servers, but shocking slow and fairly inaccurate. Took forever to get drinks and most of them were wrong when they got to the table. I would avoid this place unless you are literally driving by it and in need to some pub food.
1st off, the service was very friendly and inviting. At the suggestion of a friend we stopped here for lunch on way to airport (which is just 7 minutes away). Now this place looks like a cozy warm place for late night burgers and drinks, not so nice for lunch. Very dark and obviously very worn out looking. I almost expected to see chef Robert Irvine to walk through the door any second with his ax in hand! Some new floors and booths would do wonders. The food was good but the booth was so uncomfortable that it was hard to enjoy lunch. Out server was very attentive, refilling soft drinks without being asked. Go here for a super comfy nightime neighborhood bar scene and have lunch at the airport.
Very friendly service and a great atmosphere. I think the food would have been better if we had ordered pub style food like burgers or fish and chips. The fish tacos were not a hit.
We were a party of 4 people … Saturday night very busy . . Check with tip $200 !!!! Prices have gone up !! They charge additional $ for mayo !! We go there often ! We asked if they honor 1st responders (FIRE DEPT ) discount , the owner said “no “ we don’t at this time but should !!! YES YOU SHOULD when asked . We were shocked as a courtesy a business owner he could have given some sort of discount even if $20 or so . We go to a Greenwich Pub that honors 1st responders discount !!! They were honored to do so !! Mind you this family owned business 100 years plus !!! Grandson now runs /owns the place great guy . The other gentleman ( maybe a mgr is great too !!!No first responder discounts maybe he should reconsider !
My wife and I met a friend here today for lunch. I ordered a small side salad and a bacon gorganzola burger with fries. Service was slow, my salad did not precede my burger as promised. The burger was ordinary, somewhat dry, and was served without any garnish other than 2 pickle slices. The fries were typical commercial fries, nothing special at all. The salad was fresh and tasty. I also had a apple crisp with vanilla ice cream for dessert, which was very good. My wife had a salad with grilled chicken breast. She found that the chicken was cold, not hot off the grill as promised. The ambiance was also average; the decor was ordinary and uninspired. I see no reason to dine here again.
Nice cozy restaurant but very dim inside. They sat our party of 5 next to restrooms while there were other empty tables they stayed they couldn't seat us in a more desirable table. So annoying to have people walk right past our table to use restroom. Server spilled water all over table. When ordering sandwich stated with sweet potatoe fries waitress stated an upcharge of 1.00 which was fine but order came out with reg fries. Took a few minutes to get sweet potatoe fries served. Waitress was very nice. All in all food was good
Food was good but the service was awful. Got wings but had to ask for extra napkins. Took 10min to be seated in an empty restaurant and then 45min to get our food. Didn't have water filled until called over a waitress. Disappointing.
I loved this place. I have been going for years. I always like forward to their burgers. But this time i was very let down unfortunately. My french onion soup had a piece of plastic in it. I didn't want that to let my expectations down. But i got my burger that i been anticipating. The burger looked like a pancake left over from ihop. My hun was in a deli roll! Then my burger had one slice of onion. My chilli was on the side. I was hoping for a juicy stacked tex mex burger that i have gotten there before! Very disappointed. Hopefully next time my review will be better.
Stopped for lunch with my family and ordered sandwiches, burgers and house salad. The salad had witty leaves and spoiled cherry tomato in it. NEVER order ROAST BEEF sandwich from them - total disappointment in quality and quantity of meat. The BEST food here is BBQ burger with caramelized onions. Will reccomend to come here only for burgers and beer or else - find another place.
I didn't enjoy my experience here. I met a former colleague here for lunch to brainstorm about ideas for an upcoming work project and it was too loud inside to have a meaningful dialogue. I realize this is probably not the norm for a weekday at lunchtime... It was annoying, but we got over it. The real disappointment was in the food and service. I had to return my soda because it was really flat. So, I had water and waited through most of the meal before a refill was offered. I got the pulled pork sandwich. The meat was dry and the sauce felt and tasted like a jarred sauce. The bun tasted stale. The fries were adequate. The cole slaw was good but very skimpy. Then, it took 10 minutes at least between the end of the meal and tracking down our waitress for the check. Not much competition in the area, but I don't plan on going back.
My 1st time here and they seemed to have stocking issues. I ordered a burger which Iooked good but they didn't have mustard so I asked for A1 and was given expired A1 sauce with no other bottles in the place. They didn't have mustard. This was a big let down.
I ordered the steak there. The food was honestly just mediocre. Terrible service... my steak was RAW when I asked for MEDIUM RARE and when I asked for it to be more cooked (to medium) it was only RARE! The soda was watered down, and I could not nave the fries because they were fried with Shellfish. I have allergies. And when the rest of the people who were eating with us came, they NEVER took their order. We ended up leaving and eating somewhere else. Honestly, one of the worst Restaurants I have ever been to. Will never come back
Our waiter, Chris had an attitude problem. I ordered the Super Burger, bacon lettuce, tomato, mayo, med rare. He brought me the breakfast burger. When I told him this wasn't what I ordered he said, "You ordered the Super Burger. That's what you got." As we were leaving, I opened the menu back up and showed him what burger I had ordered. He said , Oh I thought you wanted the breakfast special". I went home and had a bowl of cereal. We won't be back.
My neighbor and I went to the Cobblestone Restaurant for dinner. Let me just say this - it was the first and last time I will ever go there again. The young woman who seated us was pleasant enough, but the male waiter seemed kind of annoyed about having to serve us. We ordered appetizers and dinner. He brought the appetizers that I ordered - fried shrimp. They were somewhat soggy and tasteless and required a lot of sauce and lemons to bring out any taste. I had just started to eat my appetizer when lo! Guess what arrived? You guessed it. MY DINNER! So, there I was with the appetizers still sitting in front of me and my dinner on the edge of the table. I had ordered the "Chicken Maryland." I can't for the life of me understand how anyone can call the food in this place "FABULOUS." The chicken was so dry, it was completely tasteless! the vegetables were dry and the rice was all stuck together. Prior to ordering the chicken, I had asked for a hamburger on a regular bun and was told that "this restaurant doesn't have hamburger buns. We only serve burgers on hard rolls." For dessert I had ordered the apple crisp with vanilla ice cream and was told the restaurant didn't have vanilla ice cream at that point. All I all, between the food and the drinks, the check came to $75.00. For what, I ask! The place stinks! Period!
We had a terrible experience here. Food was ok. Service was awful. To start, asked if they had a a gluten-free menu and was simply told no. No assurances that they would take care of the allergy or advise me. Calamari app was bland as were sauces. Ordered bourbon Manhattan straight up and it was minuscule. Came slow. Had to ask for water three times. Had to ask for each of three side dishes that were supposed to come with meal. Forgot one of our diners meals and and we all waited until it was prepared. Took forever to get a second round of drinks. Ask again for water. Took a long time to get the check. They did take the calamari and one glass of wine off the check without being asked, so that was a plus. Was passing through, thankfully. Would not eat here again.
The bartender was horrible, took forever to get a menu, then finally after the food arrived, he never removed the plates once we were done. Took forever just to get the bill. It wasn't even busy that night, I can't imagine what it would be like if it was busy. I used to love this hideaway. Maybe once this unprofessional bartender is gone, it may get better !!
The other day I was there with my family before 6pm and the service was terrible. One hostess was extremely rude not to us but other customers. Very loud and nasty, made a rude comment saying Christmas is coming referring to a older costumers drinks. My food was not even hot, on the cool side. I will never come back to this place or recommend it to anyone. One table wanted to go to a different table and this hostess kept saying really loud I said NO... She really needs to be terminated..
Just left. Overheard the manager, who had just come in, ask how long we had been there and why we were still there. He was told by our waitress we had just ordered dessert. He walked to great each table and just passed us by. We paid the bill and as I left I told the waitress of his behavior and that we, as very regular customers, would not be back.
Ummmmm well…. Don’t order the chicken pot pie! Small roach in it…..Overcooked crust and very little chicken. Never coming back here
This experience is 5 yrs old, but here it is.. The other day, I was there with my family before 6 pm, and the service was terrible. One hostess was extremely rude not to us but other customers. Very loud and nasty, making rude comments saying Christmas is coming, referring to older customers' drinks. My food was not even hot, on the cool side. I will never come back to this place or recommend it to anyone. One table wanted to go to a different table, and this hostess kept saying really loud. I said NO... She really needs to be terminated.
I cannot comment on the food as we left before ordering. The first thing you notice walking in is the strong smell of urine. Seriously, smelled like a Penn Station bathroom. The server/owner dropped off menus and walked away…and never returned. Other patrons came in, and after waiting a few minutes, walked up to the bar to ask if there was a waiter coming. The guy just put his finger up for them to wait as if he was being inconvenienced by their request for service. That’s when we walked out.
