Comfortable local restaurant. Great service. Outgoing staff ensures you are satisfied. Nice feature, chips come with three different types of salsa, plus a bean dip. Side room with longer table can accomodate larger groups. All variety of drinks. Complete dinners for two people, plus one alcoholic drink per person cost $56 during our visit, plus tip. About what you would expect pricewise these days. Overall, good value and enjoyable.
My family and I loved it here! Our waiter was so nice I unfortunately didn’t get his name but so sweet and the food was amazing! The seafood tasted really fresh 10/10
If you like Mexican food is authentic and definitely delicious! Service is top-notch wait time minimal even when busy. Atmosphere is culturally correct and comfortable. 🍸 Cocktails are Tasty!
I can't say what was better, the food or the service. From chips, salsa, and bean dip to the conclusion of dinner the food was fabulous. Everyone was very attentive the entire time. We found our new favorite Mexican restaurant.
Great spot for Mexican food near home too!
The Asada and chicken tacos were dry but the seasoning was excellent. The Appetizer platter was tasty except for the wings. The carnitas were lean , cooked perfectly and tasty. Same with the chicken enchiladas suiza 👍👍. A bit pricey but the portions were large. Fresh and tasty chips and salsa. Im sure its even better dining in.
I went with my family, and the servers were extremely nice! The wait time was less than two minutes. Definitely recommend!
One of my favorite places for Mexican food! Very attentive and accommodating service.
For this area it's very good with good size portions, and consistent with quality .we've ordered from here a lot , ppl/workers are friendly & helpful
The food is very authentic and amazing. Margaritas are very good and strong.
Under new management. Service was excellent, food was good. We will maybe give them a bit of time before we try their chili rellanos again. Margarita and Mexican coffee were excellent!
This place is literally the go to spot for this whole area. If you are near here or traveling passing this area then definitely stop here to eat. I work for Spectrum on the electrical poles and on this day I had to work this area miles and miles away from home and I am sure glad I chose this for my lunch spot. The burrito was so darn good, I also got a side of celery sticks and carrots with ranch (which I always get if it's an option anywhere I go) and very much enjoyed every bite of all the things I ordered. The chips and salsa they give you before you are ready to order is very much appreciated because wow they are amazing, especially that salsa. Great job on it, the sauce and food and atmosphere and staff definitely deserve that A++ from me.
Mexican restaurant in the Antelope Valley area. Valentines steak and lobster special and the beef taco combination plate our choices for tonight's dinner. Chips n salsa plus a side of chili beans. Steak was tender, lobster juicy served with a side of butter and baked potato. Side house salad and thousand island. Albondiga soup, good choice. I'll come again. Good service.
Our inaugural experience at Don Sebastian Mexican Restaurant was truly delightful. The impeccable service complemented the exquisite flavors of the dishes we savored. What truly amazed us was how even our discerning children, known for their selective palates, thoroughly enjoyed the meal. This revelation speaks volumes about the quality and appeal of the cuisine. We've now found our go-to spot, ensuring a satisfying dining experience for every member of our family.
We came for a birthday dinner and we weren't disappointed. The food was delicious and the service was top notch. I would recommend it if you're in the area.
This is the best Mexican restaurant I have been to in the Antelope Valley!! Their Mole is incredible and I won’t eat it anywhere else here. Al bondage is incredible, salad is fresh and delicious, salsa is great and service is incredible!!!!
Great place. Food is amazing. A hidden gem.
Outstanding customer service A+ Great attention to customer needs. Chips and beans(beans are to die for)

I grew up out here in Lancaster and I am ashamed that I've missed this gem of the AV for over 30 years! Immediately the vibe is quaint and comfortable. Staff was very kind and professional, accommodating and courteous. The salsa and bean dip were the I've had since Los Toros in the valley. Nasy, this was better! The food was so good and flavorful. The soup was just enough, another flavorful addition. I have to say the best place I've eaten all year and that's a lot and even coming from the AV where my expectations aren't very high. This is the best place for Mexican food in the AV. I'm so glad I found this on my birthday, such a gift. Do yourself a favor and eat here, now! 10/10
I would like to start off by saying that the staff and food were amazing. Both waiters were very attentive and made sure we were doing well. The food was very delicious as well as the horchata they served. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who would like to get genuine Mexican food in the area.
The food is decent for the price and the service is always good
This place is awesome excellent food and exceeltnportions service is exceptional! Highly recommend.

I honestly enjoyed my meal and the service was great. No long wait for anything, not noisy or dark like some restaurants. Good and service was great. Now I just gotta bring my husband because he loves Mexican food 🥰
I think this place had some of the absolute best Mexican food I've ever had. Definitely delicious and the service is amazing. Refilling my chips and salsa as soon as it was empty and refilling my coke when I got empty. Just great. The only downside is the price... They charged me $4.50 for a coke and let me know when I finished my first refill that you only get one refill, and that if I wanted a second refill, I have to pay $4.50 for another drink... The food prices are ok at about $10-15 a meal. Enchiladas are $5.50 each and were delicious but $5.50 for one enchilada is insane. I would recommend this to anyone who loves Mexican, but prepared for a big price!
Was pretty quiet on a Saturday night. Went with some friends to get food and drinks before going out to a local bar. We were happy with what we got and would return again!
Update: New owners absolutely flipped this place around. Great food if you want more of a tex mex flavor. Staff is friendly and I haven’t gotten anything bad yet. Old review: Hands down the blandest Burrito especial I've ever had. Very little meat, mostly beans with no spices or even salt. Like if hometown buffet opened a Mexican restaurant.
Don Sebastian offers a mix of Mexican dishes in a charming downtown setting. While the ambiance and decor are inviting, the authenticity of some dishes varies. Service can be inconsistent, but the friendly staff compensates. Their selection of margaritas and tequilas adds to the experience. Don Sebastian is a decent choice for a casual Mexican meal downtown, despite occasional inconsistencies.
Nice spot in kind of the heart of Quartz Hill. Accessible directly from 50th. Parking in the back is no problem. Clean and fresh as soon as you walk in the place feels inviting. We were a party of 3 at 12:30 on Saturday afternoon. Plenty busy, but we were seated immediately. Drunk order taken as we were seated and brought very promptly. Most surrounding tables were full. But service was really a noticeable focus. Ordered the Carnitas plate. Far more food than one can eat in a sitting. The carnitas was well prepared not greasy. Very flavorful and tender. No noticeable fat which is really a plus. Served with Pico de Gallo y guacamole Corn tortillas, refried beans and Spanish rice. The rice was excellent. Beans fairly standard but did compliment the dish. The carnitas enchiladas were delicious same accompaniment of sides. My son lives for enchiladas, normally pollo however he also loves carnitas. So that was a no brainer and it worked out A O K. The other dish was Camarones de Vera Cruz and it was also delicious. We each had enough to have dinner later. Great experience. Oh wait I forgot the Albondigas soup!!! I mean if you have to have salad get a salad but the Albondigas (meatball soup) is perfect. Really flavorful and warm and soothing. Lol I'm sorry no pictures. I'm not one to take pics of food. Maybe soon. Anyway, great spot excellent service great food. Reasonable pricing. No hesitation to recommend.
My husband wanted to go out just for drinks so we picked this place since it's just down the street from us. The place is nice from the outside and inside. Good atmosphere, the staff is super friendly. We sat at the bar and I ordered my usual strawberry margarita, which I don't think had any alcohol in it, because I'm a light weight and usually after one I'm already tipsy but I felt nothing from this one. We ordered some taquitos to share and they were good. Also tried the shrimp cocktail and that was ok. All in all, we will definitely be going back, but this time I will tell them to make sure my margarita is loaded.
Went with a group of 12 at around 3 on a Friday. Nice and laid back, not crowded at all and they were able to seat us all without problem. Ordered and food came out quickly, if a little oddly spaced. One of the orders came out like 10 minutes after everything else, unfortunalty it was also for our slowest eating child, lol. Service was friendly but needed a bit of reminding about drinks and such to keep them in their toes.
We went on Valentine's Day for late lunch/ early dinner to beat the crowds. The place was pretty empty. I didn't care too much for the seating arrangement. They sat us close to a doorway that the staff frequent, so it wasn't very private. There was always someone walking by. Even though there seemed to be a lot of staff, service was a bit slow. It took a while for them to take our order, I even had to let someone know we were ready to order. However, they were quick and attentive when bringing chips and salsa and bean dip. They were also very nice and polite. The chips weren't warm or fresh, but not stale either. The salsa was really good, probably the best I had from a Mexican restaurant! I did not like the bean dip. It has a taste of allspice or nutmeg that I really don't like (the bean dip taste the same as all the others I've tried at other restaurants), but my husband liked it. It was just the two of us, and our meals took a long time to prepare, longer than any other restaurant we've been to, which was weird since the place was pretty empty. That being said, the food was really good! Maybe that's why it takes so long, lol. I got the number 12, Taco, enchilada, and Chile Relleno plate. It was so much food, and I had a lot of leftovers, but since I've never been, I wanted to try a variety of what they offer. I really liked everything. My husband ordered the Carne Tampequena (not sure of the spelling) it was meat and veggies wrapped in bacon. He liked it but said he would order something different next time. We also ordered the fried ice cream, I never had fried ice cream, so I don't know how it's supposed to taste, but it was so chewy and hard to eat! It seemed like they pre-make it and keep it in the freezer, based on the taste and texture. It's definitely not something I would order again. But they made it look very pretty and appetizing! Even though service wasn't the best, we still left a big tip, it was Valentine's Day after all! All in all we will go back again, especially since we live close by.
Pretty good. We'll be back, good salsa chips & bean dip. Tasty sauce on enchiladas & tamale. Cadillac margarita was good I probably need an extra shot next time tho 🍹😏
Great customer service and friendly. Food is good and they serve a variety of alcohol drinks. I had al mojo de Ajo shrimp with rice and beans.
Good food.Extremely fast service. It only takes them about 5 mins to cook your food.Good beans and rice.Salsa and chips are pretty good also.I had Chicken Enchiladas in this photo.

This is a hidden not so hidden Mexican restaurant in the antelope valley, I’ve tried the chile verde(very good) the shrimp cocktail tastes fresh and the enchiladas de pollo verdes could be more juicy but overall it’s a nice place to go with the family. I would recommend it. (Service is hit or miss fyi)
The food is great! I love their salsa and the bean dip!!! The parking is really tight and spots are tiny. Someone with a trailer hitch hit my car and made a huge dent.
Love their chips and salsa and bean dip. Not many restaurants provide both and it is good! The husband loves their Chili Colorado burrito and I stick with the shredded beef tacos. Mango Margaritas are great and kids love their Shirley Temples.

The restaurant was clean with a quiet atmosphere. We started the meal with guacamole appetizer. The guacamole. was ok, a little bland. For the entre I had an enchilada plate. The enchiladas were ok. The meat was shredded but too bland. My wife had taquitos, she liked them but again a little too bland. The accompanying rice and beans that were ok. All n All the restaurant is a pleasant visit, the service is good but the food could be better, but it's worth a visit.
Taco, Enchilada Combo with rice and beans and a Strawberry Margarita on the rocks. Margaritas were delicious. The food was good. Didn't care to much for the Chicken Enchilada. The chicken was kind of flavorless. Just taste like chicken with enchilada sauce and cheese. I would have love to have some flavor to the bite. Other than that Clean restaurant, bathrooms and service was great. Others in the party felt the same with their dishes. Good eats but had better.
Service was good but food had no flavor! Wish they kept Don Juan’s recipes ! Very bland n dry meat ! Salsa was super watery as well! Beans were on the sweet side. I was hoping for more Mexican flavors
On 08/01/23 I've try your Chile Verde burrito and Tilapia a la plancha and Margaritas wasn't great for me n my lady. Told yr waiter it wasn't all that good but Salty.

The food was just OK. I got the fish tacos and the fish wasn't seasoned at all and it was dry. The only thing that was good was the beans, rice and chips and salsa. Most items on the menu are $21 and up.

Margaritas and beer were great. So were the chips and salsa. Food not so good. The Chile Verde was not flavorful. The serving size looked as if they were serving a child. We also waited forever for a waitress to come take our drink order. While other patrons had their drinks, even water immediately after they were seated.
Sad to say since I've been there last time the quality of their food and drinks has considerably declined I would have had a better meal at Taco Bell that's sad this restaurant has been one of my favorite spots in Antelope Valley always a five maybe they had a bad night I will give them another try because I'm a fan of theirs. But the service was incredible like always so that was good
The waiters are rude DONT say excuse me when entering your space. The food was okay, the service was bad, wouldn’t come and check if we needed anything, we needed to ask for tortillas, our spoon for the coffee and other items needed to eat out food. I don’t recommend to come here. Also within. An hour after eating my father and I had to use the restroom. All bad!!
The margaritas taste like water. The fish with vegetables came with onion and zucchini only there was no vegetables. There was no flavor. Even the person that put you at the table was like here you go have some food like it was just rude. Our waiter was very nice, but the food wasn’t what we expected.
We were in Lancaster visiting our grandchildren and took them to dinner here. I would not recommend this place on a bad night much less a night with the family. The hostess was very nice and courteous, but that is where it ends. The Queso was no edible, and the food was only marginally better. The waiter acted as though he was going to be late for a doctor's appointment. The ticket was over 250.00.
