Have been here many, many times over the years with my family when we want to go out and have a delicious dinner. This location in particular is our go-to and I have always had pleasant experiences. The staff are nice, the place is clean, it’s beautiful inside, and the food has always been good. The menu is a decent size, appetizers, entrees, salad, soup, desserts, and lots of drinks. I love the fresh sourdough bread they bring the table, it goes perfectly with the savory minestrone soup. I usually get vegetarian dishes when I come here and luckily they have a lot of options. My go-tos are the spinach and cheese ravioli and the roasted mushroom ravioli. This most recent time I got the mushroom dish, sometimes it’s not on the menu so I get it when I can. The portions are generous and I usually leave with leftovers. I love the bowl of ice cream you get at the end too. It’s always now seeing families come to celebrate birthdays and kids love sitting in the train! Definitely check this place out if you haven’t been!
We had Albert as our waiter and he provided the best service we've ever had in 10 plus years. He was friendly, funny, and attentive. The kind of service that makes you want to keep coming back. He's a great asset to this business.
What can I say that hasn't already been said. Yummy, fast, and delightful wait staff.
What can I say, it's the old spaghetti factory. Always reliable and the bread is always fresh. Don't think I've ever had a bad meal here. Has been a family favorite for years. How can you go wrong with brown butter and mizithra pasta!
I happened to walk in during happy hour. I sat at the bar and ordered the $5 spinach artichoke dip and a rum and coke. Bartenders were very friendly, the food came out quickly and it was excellent. I was interested in ordering a second dip to go for my gf, but the dip is not gluten free, which the bartender was able to quickly look up and confirm.
We had the pleasure of being served my Albert tonight. Our table of 20 was well taken care of with refills when needed, quick service, and tasty food. He was really good at remembering who ordered, overall very impressed and happy about tonight’s service
We had such a wonderful experience here! From the moment we sat down, Albert our waiter made the evening extra special. He was incredibly kind and patient with our kids, keeping them smiling the whole time and making us feel completely welcome. The little touches really stood out too! the complimentary bread was delicious, and the ice cream for the kids was such a thoughtful treat. It made the night feel even more special. Most importantly, every single one of us loved our meals. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Great food, amazing service, and a warm family-friendly atmosphere! we’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you, Albert, for making our dinner so memorable! 🍝🍦😊
Great restaurant, great service, great food!! We had the Mizithra and brown butter it was friggin bomb. Sean was our server super attentive and took great care of us he was spot on and he recommended our entrees. The restaurant is beautiful inside it’s huge! Wood grain all through out the entire building. Fantastic visit will be back for more of that miz cheese.
Honestly this is our favorite date night location! The three course meals included with each entree, the friendly service and delicious food make it an easy choice each time. I highly recommend the Garlic Mizithra! We will be back many times over!
We were there for a birthday party tonight, your staff seemed a little overwhelmed, but they didn't stop. They kept a smile on their faces, and were very attentive as much as they could be. I wish I knew our servers name, she was amazing, thanks for keeping up with us!
We stopped on the way back from AppleTree Hill for late lunch early dinner. We sat at at a nice booth in the bar area. Our server was nice, informative and intentive. Our appetizer, fried ravioli, were delicious. Large portion for the value. All our meals were wonderful and plentiful. No cocktails only tea, water and soda. We pais a visit to at Lava Cap prior. This was my first time visiting an OSF and based on the fun antiqued decor, service and food I'd visit again.
Go on Monday. Get the "Monday Meatball Special". $25 for two people. Sit in the bar area. The service is really fast, the food is great and plentiful. You get spaghetti and meatballs, soup or salad, loaf of bread, wine or other drink and ice cream for dessert. You can't beat it.
Celebrating my birthday with family. We had 13 in our party and 7 were children. With all the chaos our waiter EVERETT was fabulous! He managed to keep everyone happy at all times (often not an easy task).
Greeted and seated right away. Our sever was fantastic along with the dishes. It had been years since I ate here do to moving away, but glad I'm back. The portions of food are good and who doesn't like a scoop of ice cream after a yummy meal?
I really enjoyed the vibe on the inside of this restaurant. Everything looked so cool with the old feel. I liked how they had a train car inside that you can eat in. The food was really good. We eat gluten free and are fortunate that we are not the "avoid gluten at all costs" type people. We both had gluten free pasta for the Spice Spaghetti Vasuvius and that was really good. I would come back to have that again. The spumoni ice cream was a great topper to a wonderful meal. I did have one of their signature cocktails and it was good.
We have been to this spaghetti factory a couple of times and every time it is amazing. The service was fantastic, I called on my way to Sacramento from Redding Ca. I was still 2 hours away and seen they would be closing right around the time we would be getting there. So I called to see when they were going to be doing last seating. I then asked if I could make reservations for right at that time? Reservations made driving down as I'm getting closer I see I'm going to be just a few minutes late like just before they are closing, no problem sir see you shortly. Get there get seated and notice there is a train car with seating inside, asked to sit in there. Absolutely sir let us get your table cleaned up and you may seated. Service was amazing the waitress was fantastic sorry forgot to get a name. The food WOW it was definitely some of the best we have ever had. I would definitely suggest you eat here if you are looking for great food at a great price. The artwork is very nice.

I've been visiting this chain since its inception at the Portland location in 1969. prices are understandably higher now but the portions, especially the meat sauce, are far more generous now too. …
We went to eat here for a late lunch for our Anniversary. We were seated immediately when we entered the restaurant. Our waiter came over and introduced himself as well as asking us our drink orders. Noah, our server, asked if we were celebrating anything as he thought he saw it on our reservation. He promptly brought over some waters and got our Italian Crème Sodas. We ordered a large side of broccoli with Mizithra. I got my all time favorite spaghetti with browned butter & mizithra cheese. My fiancé got Chicken Marsala with the Spaghetti & Mizithra cheese. All their meals are served with soup or salad - we got salads, chilled to perfection - and warm bread and butter. Our food was brought out quickly, and we ate - everything it was so delicious. We did not have room for dessert, but we enjoyed the meal very much. This location is very pretty filled with a wall made of old stained glassed windows, has a #Mizithra sign in the waiting area, and just like all the locations a train car inside as well as many tiffany lamps and that style décor.
I only ordered items off the appetizer menu because I'm lactose intolerant, but the sausages were great! Covered in a really nice red sauce. I also got the shrimp, which were a little bland, but cooked all the way through and were a nice balance to the powerhouse flavor of the sausage. I also got the broccoli, but there was too much cheese, not enough butter, and didn't have much flavor. Definitely recommend the appetizer of sausage. The place was well decorated and the waitress was super friendly, positive, and had good recommendations for the rest of my friends who got pasta dishes and loved it!
This restaurant has a server named Kennedy. She is extremely friendly and she is very good at her job. If you can somehow go to this restaurant and sit in her section, you will be pleased. Can’t speak much for the other servers, but I can definitely speak for Kennedy. What can I say about the food? It’s fairly decent Italian food that is served up hot. It is a bit pricey these days but everything else is also. I will return.
If you are hankering for a spaghetti meal, Old Spaghetti Factory (OSF) in the Nimbus Winery building in Rancho Cordova, CA, is worth checking out. They are located off Highway 50's Hazel Avenue exit. The interior of restaurant decor is a fun eye catching mash of 1800s Wild West, art deco, and modern industrial. They have a bar area. In the dining room, they have a train car that you can dine in. The dining room can accommodate a large group as well as the solo diner. But I recommend calling ahead if you have a large group, just to make sure they can accommodate you. My favorite entree at OSF is the potpourri. No, I'm not talking about dried scented flowers. OST's potpourri is the entree of spaghetti served with four different sauces. Brown butter & mizithra cheese, clam sauce, marinara sauce, and meat tomato sauce. $19.99. The entree is served in three courses. The options are choice of a green salad or soup and dessert of vanilla or spumoni ice cream. Plus you will be provided a complimentary bread loaf. It is served warm with a side of whipped butter. The spaghetti is not outstanding nor is it bad either. Just basic simple spaghetti. The pasta is cooked perfectly, not soggy or al dente. The green salad is iceberg lettuce based. I always find it to be refreshing. It is even served in a chilled bowl. The warm bread is delish. OSF also offers gluten free spaghetti for an additional cost.
Incredible food, lots of it at that! Comes with fresh baked bread and garlic butter. Beautiful interior with lots of fun stuff to look at. Service is great and Sam was very nice. Food was good but nothing too spectacular. Mizithra was so-so, not my favorite. Make sure you ask for your ice cream at the end! It’s included in your meal so ask for it to go if you don’t have much room!
prices are way up.. \nquantity is way down..\nBarely got any sauce on my noodles ! \nThey even stopped with the garlic butter. \nLess is not more !

I recently placed a pick-up order at the Old Spaghetti Factory, hoping for the hearty, classic meal they’re known for. Unfortunately, the experience left a lot to be desired. While the process of ordering and picking up was smooth, the food itself, specifically the Soup and Salad in the “Entree Salad” section was a major letdown. If you are browsing the menu and see the “Entree Salad” section, do yourself a favor and DO NOT order the Soup and Salad. Calling this an "entree" is a massive stretch. The salad was packaged in a tiny container, similar in shape to a Chinese takeout box, but literally 1/10th the size. It was shockingly small. Inside this tiny box, it was just shredded Romaine lettuce, cabbage, and shredded carrots. That’s it. No tomatoes, no cucumbers, no onions, no avocados, none of the actual vegetables you’d expect in a standard salad, let alone one marketed as a main course. It was as if someone filled this tiny box with a pre-packaged bagged salad. To put it bluntly, this would be a perfectly sized side salad for a toddler. It has no business being on an "Entree Salad" menu and should be removed immediately. The price should also be drastically reduced from $12.25 (not including tax), to $2.25. It’s very misleading to the customer. The soup was also a major disappointment. The only choice available was Minestrone, which turned out to be incredibly watery. I went digging for the beans and veggies usually found in a good minestrone, but there was hardly anything in there. It felt more like a flavored broth than a meal. The only reason this wasn't a total loss was the loaf of bread. It was large, fresh, and lived up to the quality I expected. It’s a sad day when the bread has to do all the heavy lifting for a paid entree. The bottom line is if you're going for pick-up, stick to the pasta. Avoid the Soup and Salad “entree” at all costs, unless you're looking for a very expensive snack of lettuce and broth. I feel completely ripped off. Do better Old Spaghetti Factory.
Two people, we had chicken parmesan with lasagna and alfredo. Decided to get some cheesy bread as an appetizer. Two waters and our total bill is $65 plus a tip on top of that, which brought it to 75. For two people for noodles. Waitress wouldn't wait long enough to give her the details about my order before walking away. It wasn't like it was busy there was very few people in there maybe because of the inflated prices nowadays. So I had to wait for her to come back when she brought us the dinner salads that came with our meal to let her know I want a little extra sauce and cheese on my chicken parmesan. Maybe that's where the additional cost came from. I doubt if I will be going back
The atmosphere is interesting and eclectic. The kids loved the trains, but that's where it ends for them. My daughter, whom is 7 years old told my family members to come over to our house for the next family dinner, because she can make a better spaghetti. The server was attentive. However the food fell short. The chicken had so much salt it was inedible. We asked for Ramono cheese and was told they ran out. How does an Italian restaurant run out of Ramono cheese? Save Your money for a different italian restaurant.

My fam came in a hour or so ago & the whole experience/ vibe was so bad. 1st the waitress forgets my youngest daughters cotton candy drink & when we remind her she says " she probably would've been just eating all the cotton candy anyway." Which we were rewarding her for being good @ our family function. No biggie life goes on, after the meal got a couple desserts & my wife's ice cream has a dang screw in it. A literal steel machined screw, after mentioning that & some of the other small unpleasantries the mngr decides to only comp 1 of the meals... Overall, I am very disappointed, as a kid I used to love coming to spaghetti factory, and it was always so warm and welcoming. Now it's definitely become a corporate entity with no soul.
The bartender that was working the night of 12-20-2025 was extremely rude and unprofessional. Made rude comments to me and my partner. I’ve frequented this establishment for many years and have never encountered a “bartender” that doesn’t even know how to make drinks correctly and this is coming from someone who owns a mobile bartending company. Every other bartender I’ve ever encountered at this establishment has been amazing except this person.
The place itself is a good location and good service. But the food is horrible. We ordered fettuccine Alfredo and mushroom ravioli. It was extremely dry and tasteless. They give a whole loaf of bread unlike Olive Garden which gives real breadsticks. Salad was mid too with no significant dressings like Olive Garden. Soup was the only thing good and comparable to Olive Garden. Overall, i would say Olive Garden wins here guys. It’s cheaper, and gives a better quantity and quality of food.
