I stopped by before heading home from work. it's been so long since I've been at a coco. Natalie was the best I never had to look for her to ask for refill. she was all over it when the glass was half full. 👍👍👍
I ordered take out and still received the same quality service. Delicious meal choices. Clean establishment. I highly recommend this location.
Very clean. Food hot and delicious. Fruit pie is great. Prices very reasonable. Service quick and attentive.
The food and service here is really good. She they have the best pies. The location by my house closed so I was happy to find a location open that provided Coco's quality food and service.
Cocos really came through for us. On our way to the airport and wanted breakfast and tried several places that either closed because of COVID-19 or were backed up. The service at Cocos was fast and employees very friendly. Good food and great coffee 👍
I go here all the time, and for a strange reason my fam8ly and I never get sick of it. Their menu has all kinds of options, from a delicious burger, to tasty salmon. I can go and order different meals all the time and they are all good, then I can order different desserts all the time, they are a variety of desserts to choose from and they are all delicious. My mom loves it, and usually I do too, unless you are an adventurous eater, it may not be your favorite place, all their meals are what you would expect.
We are on family trip along West Coast and stopped here for lunch! Our server Nancy was fabulous and the food was soooo good! We even took a pie to go!! Make sure you stop in and give them a try!! You won’t be sorry!!
Known for their fresh pies, they also have a great meal menu. Mostly American cuisine with specials for seniors and military. Breakfast all day and delicious pies by the slice or whole to go.
I wish there was another star I could award this Coco's. Wait I can. ⭐ They are clean, ⭐your waitresses are attentive. ⭐ The Cooks are great. ⭐ I had breakfast the hash brown potatoes were crispy and the pancakes fluffy. ⭐ I mistakenly asked the manager for toast, ⭐ he brought it to me. If you want great food and great service stop in you won't be disappointed. This Coco's is superior.
This is a great casual restaurant with great food and service!
As usual GiGi and her super happy, friendly and beautiful smile makes the food here that much better. Her professionalism and warm welcoming makes it seem like she's the owner. Whoever hired her must be the same way. It's a place to come to after or before a long day to get really good breakfast. Great place to eat and relax at. All great staff too. Brandon
Every two weeks my friends and I go to lunch. We have been doing this for at least the past year. This was our first time at Coco's in Rancho. THE BEST!!! Total shouts to our server Ledilaine G. Never have we had such a great server. To add to her pleasantness the food was perfect. Thank you. We were going to go to Denny's at first but ended up at Coco's, great mistake. Love ya Coco's.
Tonight, I ordered the NY with grilled veggies, baked potato with delivery through door dash. Unfortunately, my steak was overcooked (I ordered med-rare), cold and missing the salad. I called, spoke with the manager (whose name I am sorry to say I didn't write down) and not only did he apologize, but went out of his way to make things right. Not only was my new steak perfectly, but he cooked it himself. I come to this CoVos often, have never had bad service and if something was not cooked to my satisfaction, they made good.
My very favorite place for breakfast! Love, love, love the pumpkin pancakes! It is a tradition for my friend and I to go every year! Their cream cheese pie with the graham cracker crust reminds me of my mother's! I buy the Harvest pie for potlucks and it is always a hit! All the servers in our local Coco's make you feel like family! You won't be disappointed!
Service is always great here. My only complaint is tge change of dressing for the Asian salad. Too spicy for me now.
Had a wonderful breakfast last week. Even tipped the cook. This Cocos is underrated. Alfaro was the cook ! Try the Lumberjack breakfast. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK GUYS.
An excellent Coco's! Nice location, clean restaurant, friendly staff, and great food. Classic favorites always on the menu, but specials change with the seasons and are always great! Pies and other baked goods always excellent. Great for any meal, or just coffee and pie - and the coffee is great too 😊
My daughter & I have been coming in the morning for breakfast for the last 2 months & the service & food are always great. Dawn is very friendly & is fast with refills. The staff are all friendly. Plenty of parking & places to sit.
Came here the day before thanksgiving and they have a whole section ready of pies that are completely packaged a d prepped for take-out. I literally stood in line for four minutes and was out with my pie. The manager and the people working there were so attentive and polite. I will only ever buy my pies from here and I will never stress out for pies again.
We had a family gathering and could not have been more impressed with the kind, helpful and patient. We were a large group and they accommodated our every needs. This place is wonderful for all but they are extremely wonderful to our more senior family members. Wish more places were like that. Highly recommend this place!!
Good food I had the coco's burger it was huge. My wife had the Avocado Chicken sandwich which was also giant. Just wondering why they didn't bring them at the same time . Wendsday free slice of pie with any Entree, order. Gotta love that.
We went there it was quiet and clean. I really liked my breakfast! I ordered the Eggs and Prime Rib and was expecting a few small chunks of some kind of beef. When the plate came it was awesome to see a big slab of prime rib on it. Totally unexpected. And was cooked perfectly. My wife snuck a piece of the prime rib, she liked it too.
This restaurant tries so hard to please its guests, the food is good, prices reasonable but the best is all the staff including the managers who are present & making sure you are taken care of. We love this team. Keep it up!! M & Deb Waters :)
I have never seen a manager, Veronica clean a booth the way she did. Attention to detail was impeccable. Wiped down everything on table and booth.
Customer service excellence manager very nice food perfect but I go especially for the pies fresh delicious this time I chose the Harvest pumpkin pie which was amazing keep up the good work Coco's we will be back
Food was Delicious 😊 this is one of my favorite places to eat, breakfast is good, the burgers are good, salads are good so far everything is delicious, great place 👍🏼🙏😊❤😎
S-Tier food! Especially breakfast and burgers! As of this post I ate a nice French toast combo for dinner. I wish there was more butter cause that stuff tastes like it is made from God himself! This location has a small Mexican Restaurant nearby and that place is crowded! Meanwhile Cocos never has a wait as they’re dead! Immediate service?! Hell to the yeah!
We had dinner for my Mom's birthday. The staff was very friendly and the food was hot and delicious.
Drove all the way from Riverside for Christmas pie! They had enough to stocked to make sure they could accommodate everyone. 🙂
We visited on a Saturday late afternoon and were impressed right away. The place was clean and peaceful, and the staff were attentive and amazing. The food was excellent.
tasty pie as usual. every staff member i encountered was friendly and attentive. kat was our waitress - i wish i got the name of the nice man who seated us. we went around 1:30 pm on 7/27
My husband and I went 5 different places searching for the perfect cheesecake as a tasty reward. The Cheese factory want 13$ for a single slice! Ridiculous! We came here to Cocoa and the owner promised his was incredible. It did not disappoint!!! We tried the lemon cheesecake and the strawberry cheesecake. Best cheesecake we ever had!! Fresh, tart, homemade taste, will definitely eat our cheesecake here from now on. Went back in to thank him. You rock! What a great experience of a cheesecake!
We Coco's decided to try this Coco's in Rancho. We already been to the Upland one a few times. Our server, Mikey was friendly, polite and very courteous. The Coco was bright, cheerful and very clean. The Rancho Coco's food is much better than the Upland one. I had their chicken, bacon avocado sandwich w/fries. Honey has the mushroom burger. Both were fresh and not over cooked. The chicken breast was moist and the burger was cooked to medium well not over cooked. The salad was fresh with cheese, tomatoes and Romanine . Everything tasted great. We will come back to try the breakfast. I would recommend this place. P.S. we also got a piece of the blueberry and pecan pie for later as dessert.
I came in a large group of 10 or so. Our waitress did a great job attending to us all and made no mistakes on the orders, even with extras like the fact that we all got a free slice of pie because it was Wednesday after 11am :) Only complaint is that it took her a long time to start taking out orders. Cobb salad was good, and the lunch size was perfect. The meat lovers omelette was also good and was a great value for money, also coming with pancakes and hashbrowns! Oh, one more complaint: Even though there were three kids in our group, the waitress didn't mention that there was a kids menu! I just assumed that there wasn't because I didn't see any until I was leaving!
It's a shame that Coco's like many other restaurants have been subject to down-sizing which has resulted in the closing of many restaurants. Luckily, there are still a few in the area. I like the menu as the have great burgers, sandwiches and salads. I also really enjoy their ribeye steak and prime rib. Coco's pies are also really good- especially the seasonal peach and strawberry varieties. I now frequent Coco's often for pies as Marie Callender's is now too remote based on my location as they also have downsized tremendously. The reason for the 4-star rating is that Coco's no longer bakes these carrot muffins which were so good. I wish they would bring them back.
Today's coffee was really good. Wednesday you get a slice of pie after 11am with an entree. Servers are attentive without being pushy. Shared the raspberry cream cheese pancakes with my boyfriend and we were both full with half an entree each.
Service is always great, and very accommodating. Even when ordering for a whole family, the food always comes out fairly quickly and fresh. Great staff, super friendly.
I’m so sad they changed the formula for the banana cream pie 🥺
The food was simple but good. I had a burger with prime rib on it. It was very tasty. The fries were also amazing. The atmosphere was definitely dated. The whole restaurant was cast in a weird yellow light.
They were busy but got us seated right away! Made fresh coffee for us.. a perfect dinner steak and baked potato and requested just broccoli no mixed vegetables and they went out of their way to serve me what we ask for the food was perfectly cooked delicious and the service throughout the restaurant was extremely nice and friendly recommended over all the other restaurants in Rancho Cucamonga!!!
Very friendly staff there! Food was great. I had a Chicken Cobb salad. Free pie on Wed with an entrée!! Pumpkin cheesecake-YUM!!! Less than $20 for dinner and dessert!!
Foodie Alert ⚠️ Today I treated myself to a different local experience and stopped by Coco Bakery. 🍴 They offer a happy hour from 2–7pm, but I went with a fresh veggie dish because I needed that extra boost of energy after a long day. 🥦✨ Shoutout to Carmen, who was such a wonderful host helpful, kind, and full of good vibes
The food was decent but but they recently increased their prices and charg to split a plate with a 2 year old. We ordered our usual except this time we paid an extra $15 for breakfast for 2 adults.
I called in advance to order one of their seasonal pies, but still had a long wait when I went to pick it up. It's obvious they don't have enough servers to handle outside eating and inside pickups.
I went to Coco’s because I wanted pie!!! Lemon Meringue pie… Coconut Cream pie and Apple pie! I bought a slice of each. I was so disappointed! The Lemon Meringue was mainly Meringue and the Banana Cream had hardly any taste. I haven’t tried the Apple yet… I’m praying that one is what my taste buds have been begging for! Pray for my apple pie!
Want an opportunity to east good food less hassle? This is the place.
Seemed unorganized, or the "manager" was over-watching the hostesses. We stood there to order a pie to go for a while before she noticed us. Doubt we'll be back to this location, mostly because of her.
I paid for my pie and chocolate chip cookies went to bathroom came back woman gave my order away to someone else, other than that baked items are tasty.
Got order wrong went in to have corrected .Once got outside found incorrect again.Left disappointed
I ordered a chocolate cream pie slice and it was quite nice. I also ordered regular milk but it tasted weird as if it was about to go bad. They should check out their milk as it does have a expiration date and I think it was about to expire hence the weird taste.
Very dated restaurant. The menu is weak for lunch and dinner. Their strong point seems to be breakfast and pies. The hamburger I ordered was very basic and not worth the price. I would have been better off going to Carl's or to In-N-Out.
So the salad I ordered to go was great, but the key lime pie, wow 'm curious what they really sold me because on the website it's a nice keyline yellowish color pie, but when I got home what I found in the bag was a puke green color pie. What the heck??? Can't eat this and was really.looking forward to enjoying my fav pie.
Location: Good, Parking: Good, Service, Okay, Senior Menu : Yes!, Overall: First Time try for this location. It did look nice and was not very busy. Seated very quickly, received First round of drinks in a timely manner. Food came in decent amount of time. Don't remember having my coffee refilled and getting these small cups of syrup is not doing for me. For the price the you are paying the meal is pretty decent and I would go back if I wanted...
The food was alright at best. The grilled cheese sandwich came to us a little cold and dry, the soup was not seasoned properly, and the only really good food was the burger. I felt that they were slightly under staffed as well, making it seem like everyone is half panicking to get all the food out. Otherwise the place is very clean with nice lighting. Would recommend to come here if you don't have another place to go.
This used to be a good place to eat at. Servers don't refresh drinks enough. Can't poach an egg to save their lives. The only reason it's not a 1 star is cause it's clean, friendly and can turn around with the right management.
We are a couple in our early 60s, and we go out once a week, usually after church on Sunday. We chose Coco's this morning, as it was on our way to where we were going after lunch. As we waited for 5 minutes to even be recognized, I read the statement that said how important customer service was to them. When we were seated, we were given the breakfast menus, but not asked about lunch menus. We did get up and get them ourselves. When our meal came, my husband's pancakes were not fully cooked, the eggs looked slimy, my "melt" had no cheese on it, and the "toasted" bread was barely off color. The fries that came with my "melt" were soggy, and had obviously been sitting for some time. The person who took our order and delivered our food never once came by, except to hurridly place our bill at the table. I have never written a reviw before, but if this restaurant goes out of business, there should be some verification as to possible reasons.
The food was great, however the host was not. We were told that it would be about a 10-15 minute wait. About 10 minutes into the wait, 2 women were seated as soon as they walked in. I asked why they were seated before us and I was told they asked to be seated at a less than favorable area. I then asked why we were never offered this option and the host feigned ignorance, as if it had never been offered. The waitress we had was amazing. She paid attention not only to us, but to our neighbors, something her accompanying waiter did not do. Overall, not a great experience at all, but the waitress we had was amazing at juggling not only us, people she wasn't waiting on and her tables. I will probably never return to this location.
The menu has really gone down hill. Ordered shrimp & pasta. Got macaroni. Salad was really small. No longer get bread. Side cost extra. Won't be going back. Disappointed. Used to really like it there.
The lady was cordial. I redeemed a coupon that was accepted. It just seemed like they were rushing me along compared to other people. The food came out at once, though it was good; I didn't seem like they wanted me to be comfortable. It wasn't a good feeling.
I ordered a bacon Burger and Hash browns, the hash browns were decent, the burger was good beside Bacon not evenly cooked. Middle was burnt and ends were not fully cooked. The Main thing I came to Cocos was for the Dutch Apple pie and was VERY DISAPPOINTED. Piece of pie looked like a tart NOT a slice. Missing the whole pie filling and everything. Have never been dissatisfied with pie until now.
The burger was really good it had lot's of flavor the bun tasted very good too. The fries had no flavor at all the which is very disappointing. The service wasn't the best, slow giving any drinks didn't put any silverware on the table after being seated. This location isn't the best service wise.
Turkey meal was always thick sliced turkey breast- now it looks like deli meat so thin and so salty- same with the gravy- super salty now Will not return- and no one at all in the restaurant on Friday at 415pm
I was a little disappointed with the service. When we arrived, there were about three girls standing at the register asking each other who was going to help us, which was awkward and unprofessional. To make things worse, the family next to us had to move because the roof was leaking. The food itself was great, which is why this was so disappointing. At the end, I gave the server a $100 bill to pay. When she gave me the change, I asked if she could give me smaller bills so I could leave her a tip. She took the money but never returned with my change, which resulted in her keeping a $27 tip without my consent. I called afterward and was told there was nothing they could do over the phone and that I would have to come back in. Unfortunately, I was only passing through and don’t live nearby. Overall, the food was good, but the service and handling of the situation really need improvement.
I drove about 40 miles to go to one of two Coco‘s remaining and I was disappointed to see that they are going to rename the restaurant. Therefore there will be only one Coco’s remaining. The restaurant was clean and very big, unfortunately although they have a large menu, the food that I ordered was bland Even the pie was a disappointment.
Worst experience I've had ordering pies for a holiday, was given the wrong pies (two lemon cheese).. instead of lemon meringue and chocolate silk. By the time we checked them for dessert on Christmas night they refused to take them back and to come back on Saturday at 7.
They added 2% to my bill, so I didn't order pie, or coffee, and I shorted my waitress 1.00 on the tip. They would be better served to raise there prices 2% and shut up about the credit card expense. So the .59 cost them 2.59 on a cup of coffee that cost them 3 cents and 3.99 on a piece of pie. The credit card expense is a cost of doing business not a pass through expense.
On 12/25 at about 1:30 after a long, exhausting 5 hour drive I decided to go to one of my favorite eating places - Coco's on Haven in Rancho Cucamonga to take a meal home. There were no people in the waiting area & 2 people were seated before me in the dining area. I was helped by a man(staff) who provided a menu to look at. I told him what I wanted & he directed me to the cashier. She said something to him(staff) and he turned around & said they were not taking any more take out orders. So I left. My friends & I eat at this Coco's frequently. I will NEVER set foot in this Coco's or any other one again. Not only did they lose my business but they lost my 5 friends business too! SAD!
Picked up a Dutch apple and cranberry cheesecake and when I got home to cut it, the whip cream was hard. Don't know how old it was, but it was terrible.
Service was good. Staff was friendly and prompt. Ice tea was disgusting, tasted like dirty water. Pasta was microwaved- dry, hot in middle, cold on outside. 1 tablespoon of sauce with a big bowl of noodles. Chicken was no chicken or was dry, rubber chunks. Cobb salad was a big bowl of lettuce with a small amount of toppings that were all flavorless. Rotten avocado hidden belie lettuce. Again with the nasty dry, rubber chicken. The bill 40.00 SOOOOO not worth it. Don't think we'll be coming back
I have purchased Coco”s pies for Thanksgiving for so many years. This year, the prices were about $90 for 4 pies. So disappointed in the taste!! The 2 apple pies were the worst I have ever had. There were hardly any apples found in the pies. This will be the last year I go to Coco’s for pies. I’m sure I wont be the only one to say that.
Got a pie for takeout, it had been a while since we had a Coco's pie, sadly it was not what we remembered, the banana cream pie tasted very cheap, with a lingering chemical taste, the banana wasn't ripe so it was hard in the center, very salty crust, just bad, worse than a grocery store cheap pie, don't waste your money, this place lost it's standard.
We were sat quickly by the manager who also took our drink order (water) He told us our server would be right with is. We sat there for 10 minutes seeing several servers walking around but none came to take our order. I went to the ladies room and came back (now 15 minutes waiting) and a server was taking the people next to us who had come in after us order. At that point we were done waiting and left. We did tell the manager on the way out that next time he might want to have the servers come and take the guests order next time.Extremely Bad Service! .
If it was possible to give a negative star I would I have been coming to this location for the last 20 years and today was the first time I was told by the manager, and server that we close in 10 minutes. We ordered a simple meal, sandwiches, 2 minutes after receiving the door our server brings the bill out and asks if we can pay the bill so they can close the register. Now please keep in mind it is 10:05 pm. We ordered at 9:53 pm. After she rang out my ticket, she starts to vacuum all around our table while we are trying to eat quickly. I have never been rushed at a restaurant let alone this one. I do plan on talking to the general manager in the morning
The restaurant smelled odd, probably the cleaner they are using. The food was something to be desired. My boyfriend’s chicken friend steak was rubbery. My gluten free pancakes were good so I can say that. The potatoes were flavorless. We shall not being going back.
Don't take phone orders properly. I showed up only to find out they had no record of my order. They tried to play it off by saying they were still working on it. Not cool! 🤬😭
Had a prime dinner but was very disappointed that the waitress said they only had medium or above available - wanted medium rare. After receiving my dinner I was beyond disappointed that the prime rib was really medium well (not medium as ordered), dry, tough, and tasteless. If this is the quality of food that they continue to serve I will not return. Service was good.
Would give this place a zero if I could. Refused to take my e gift card saying they have never seen one before. The manager wasn't any help. He said I needed a physical card. Showed him my online reciept. Told him I was going to report them to the corporate office so he kept my reciept so I couldn't give it to the corporate office. Went back and he gave me a reprint with no info on it. Take my advice and stay clear of this dump
Seated at table, waited for about 15 minutes with several servers walking past and never asked us even for drinks. Servers avoided eye contact so we could ask. Another table of people who came after us were offered drinks first. When we walked out, no one apologised until I told the hostess we were leaving and still didn't try to stop us from leaving. Disappointed, we've been going there for years. It wasn't even that busy, maybe half full.
Sunday Apr-20-2025 I went to eat a shrimp scampi pasta and at that moment I was fine, but around 2 - 3 of the morning everything went south. I got food poisoned, 24 hrs with diarrhea, vomiting, passed out of how bad i was. I had to visit the ER because of their food. I visited this restaurant before, but this time the kitchen did a cross contamination, or perhaps a bad storage of the meats, or maybe the server didn't washed her hands after cleaning the tables. Who knows, but I landed on the ER and that's a fact.
Don't go. We all got food poisoning!
I ordered a pasta with chicken alfredo! And what a disappointment, the pasta was plain and dripping with water! My husband ordered the meat which was completely raw and the potato was also without salt! And the dessert was disappointing! Consider going somewhere else and enjoying a good meal, not here! What a disappointment!
We were excited to get some lemon pies as usual. Not sure what happened but the lemon cream tasted really bad and different, as if the lemons were very ripe. Quality control needs to be constant, no exception. One batch that tastes bad, you will Lose several Customers and get negative reviews like this one. Step it up
