Their menu salad really amazed me. Glad I tried, otherwise I will never know how good it is. Hope, they can reopen a store near Costco Fontana. 😉👍👍👍
Called over the phone and was throughly and politely informed about the menu and process. When I arrived I was met by friendly staff and they patiently took my order (for build your own) all the while informing along the way. As the name would suggest, the ingredients are chopped to perfect bite sizes guaranteeing an even share of flavors while eating. For the $10 price, the portion is agreeable. Manager allowed a free topping for it being my first time which goes a long way, ty!
Great salad place with many options. I usually replace the chicken with the salmon, it's so good! The store is usually not very crowded and I can get my food very quickly. The salad is a good size for the money and is very filling.
We love chopstop! The place is always so clean and the food is fresh. The staff is really nice as well.
Friendly staff and delicious salads. Soup is good too and we're a big fan of the pretzel bread sticks. What's really great is how the lettuce is chopped so small that they're easy to eat without worrying about big lettuce pieces putting dressing everywhere. Only downside is they're a little on the pricey side. But so good.
Friendly staff more than willing to go over the menu with a newbie to the place like myself. I ate the Greek without changing anything up, I feel not changing anything give you a good feel of the food places are selling. The salad was fantastic! I love the fact that it is chopped up into smaller pieces and the bowls are a perfect size. I will be back!
Just had a Tuna Salad from here and it was excellent! Everything was fresh and nicely chopped, and the tuna was quite tasty. This has been the usual case at this location with all the salads I have ordered. Add to that, the service was friendly, fast, and helpful. Definitely my go-to place for salads.
I'm not a salad guy... neither might you be. But check this place out! I know what you're thinking... how much you gotta pay for a bowl of lettuce, anyway? This is way better than a simple bowl of lettuce! You probably won't be able to finish the whole bowl! And when you're finished eating you get the nice feeling that you've just done something nice for your body.
I love this place. FAST, FRESH, YUMMY! My friends and I went to the restaurant in Rancho Cucamonga. We have a vegan and a pescetarian in our group. There was something doe everyone. Reasonable prices large portions and we all enjoyed it.
-Love this place a great salad and also great service, My favorite place to eat now. I average about 4-5 salads a weekend will continue to go there for lunch. They have a great rewards plan as well when you pre-load a card you get great discounts. I recommend this place to eat 100% love it.
I absolutely loved the energy that was given by Mathew! His personality was filled with joy and happiness. Very rare to encounter workers who are happy to help. 10/10 to Mathew
Truly awesome, what a great place to eat. The staff is so friendly the vegetables seem to be so full of flavor. I stop by after work and with in 5 minutes I am out the door. The speed has no lack on the quality of the food. Simply the right choice for a good health meal.
When you want a fast meal there than burgers, try Chop Stop. Pick your own ingredients for your perfect salad. I liked their chicken noodles soup, too. Don't miss the pretzel bread sticks!
Always nice and pleasant and very swift at getting order out …. Been going here on a regular basis 3 years now
So awesome! Fresh and healthy with so many options. Salads, wraps, bowls and more. Their house made Dill Goddess dressing is amazing. Extremely friendly staff. Quick service.I highly recommend the Cilantro Onion Chopurito Bowl!
I'm so happy my friend showed me this place because it is so good! I've always been an avid salad lover, so my review may be biased. However, if you don't like salad this place is great because it has so many options to spice up your salad beyond what you may get from other places. And the sesame dressing is incredible. I will be coming back again and again.
Fast and friendly service. Simple and clean ingredients. Good taste at a reasonable price. Great for vegans since it’s a salad place, but also has rice, black beans, white beans, tofu, and vegan sauces/salsa. You can get your choice of protein with any salad I believe, although I stuck with the vegan chopurrito with tofu.
Delicious and affordable! I got the bacon and egg quesadilla, and my husband got the build-your-own. The garlic steak melts in your mouth and is so good.
Edit: 9/11/25 the ladies on the night shift were so accommodating, thank you for satisfying my family’s salad craving! Viva Mexico Chop with both Cilantro Lime & Chipotle Ranch dressing mixed in 10/10! Fresh lime dressing Easy to eat salad - no nonsense lettuce Fire roasted corn Chicken was exactly cooked to perfection Seriously a good salad Chefs kiss
Delicious healthy menu generous portions clean friendly cooks Try it you will be happy and hooked
Omg this place is amazing. 3 love the fact that everything is chopped so fine. Man you get a lot of salad in that bowl. Your ingredients aren't all cramped together in a tiny bowl, no no. Delicious
First time here, huge menu to choose from lots of options for healthy salads, wraps, burritos. Large portions, but expensive. Very friendly staff, helped explain how it works. Clean restaurant. It’s not very visible, but followed google maps!
the service was great and the create your own chopanini choices and then final result with the spinach tortilla was absolute fire—and it was healthy mm
Amazing. We don't have one at home, so this is a for sure stop whenever we're in town.
I discovered yesterday this restaurant. Nice healthy food. I love the concept.

Great service, and i like that i can pick exactly what I like in my salad ,Because I am very picky 😀 😋 👌
I was very skeptical about a salad shop and prices. I was surprisingly satisfied. I had a make your own with spinach/romaine, bacon, tuna salad, boiled egg. Cucumbers, black beans, black olives, cilantro with the dill goddess dressing. It was delicious! I found it to be a very filling portion and took about half home. After all toppings it came out to about $15. I was surprised at how fast it was ready to eat, I didn't have time to finish filling my drink!
The staff here are very nice. Bathroom is clean. The salads are really good. But its a tad bit on the expensive side.
My husband and I live Chop Stop and we used to visit the one in La Verne when I lived in San Dimas or when I visited my mom who still lives there but it has since gone. Then we visited the one in Upland since that is where we live by that too is now gone so this one in Rancho Cucamonga is our go to spot now and we could not be happier. We usually order online or in the app and it is ready by the time we get there. We love that you can customize the salads. We have never had a bad experience.
In a sea of overwhelming fast food restaurants, this is a hidden gem with healthy options. I was very impressed. It is 90% a salad restaurant. The counter person taking the order was very attentive. You can feel free to ask questions if you are new to the restaurant. The basic salad price is usually $9.99. The fun thing is you get to customize not only the base of the salad but every ingredient that goes into it. The first 6 ingredients plus the base are free. Any extra ingredients are just a minimal charge more. The salad bowls are very large and are almost enough for two meals! I can't ever finish mine and always take it home for later. I highly recommend this restaurant and just wish there were more locations. Many people do come in and order for take out. The restaurant is small but there is some inside seating. The best part of this is the salad is truly fresh and made to order ❣️
Great food! Always enjoy. Really good and fresh. Could have better portions though.

Fun place to order a customized salad. Can choose types of greens & up to 6 toppings for $8:49,or more toppings for additional price. I ordered a salad "The Santa Fe" from those posted on menu for &9:99. Was tasty but could have a bit more protein for the price. Will make my own next time. Great place for light dinner or lunch😋!!
Three employees are nice and eager to help you out. There is a nice selection of signature salads to choose from or make your own. The size of the salad is great but liked three named suggest it's chopped. Maybe a little to chopped for my taste and a bit note money than I would like to spend, but all in all a great , quick meal .
We need more health places like this!! It's like Chipotle but salad. You can create you own and pick six toppings to go in your greens. They have chicken and bacon but I think salmon is pretty new. You can choose your salad dressing. I got the romaine and iceberg with corn, onions, black olives, avocado, egg and salmon. It was delicious with Chipotle dressing. I wish the added seasonings because I added black pepper when I got home. They make it pretty quick. They do offer rice bowls with salad and burritos which I'm sure I'll try next time. Great customer service. Everything tasted fresh. They even had vegan meat.
It was a very good salad. Perfectly dressed and very good amounts of each item I picked. For a make it yourself u get 1 type of lettuce and 6 toppings for 8.79. Whjck is y I gave it 4 stars. Kinda pricey for a bowl of lettuce. But it was pretty good and fork was cool so that's y it's four stars. It's more of like a 5 dollar salad.
My 1st time coming here and I really didnt understand what to order so the cashier recommended the Santa Fe salad and it was amazing. Pricey thou for a salad but worth it. There big enough to share 1 order with a friend. I highly recommend this place
I got the VIVA Mexico Chop. Good size portion. The ladies in here are nice. I would definitely come back and try another one of her recommendations.
Chop stop is one of few spots I like in rancho and been coming here for a while. They always fill their containers to the top with whatever salad you’d get, but there starting to reduce their portions noticeably which doesn’t make sense since the prices were raised recently.

This food was very delicious and filling. I would totally recommend. Only reason I gave a 3/5 is because I ordered over the phone since my boyfriend has lunch for 30 minutes only. I was going to pick the order on the way to his work and make it just in time, but when I got there they haven’t even started on the order and I was 20 minutes late to lunch.
I love this place but I'm tired of coming in and not getting what I ordered. I told the cashier Erika C 3 times I just wanted spinach salad she said ok. Instead she said house mix. I do not like your house mix I never order it. I'm in quite often and always seem to have an issue with getting what I order. Its a shame. When your salads are so good. Looks like I'm gonna have to go somewhere they can get my order right
Great idea..... really excited to try this place....but salad (s) were warm (room temp). after 3 minute ride home. This gives the whole salad a mushy texture that I can't forgive. The shop smells of old lettuce. $34.00 for 3 salads would be easily worth it if these ingredients weren't past their prime. I won't be back........real shame.
This is second time I am not satisfied with my order. First time they didn't add jalapenos but charged me for it, Second time my salad was drowning with dressing which made it taste horrible. I will probably not come back to this location
The girl taking my order never greated me or looked up at me. She was unwelcoming and rude. Asked me if I was dinning in or togo. As l looked at my teen amd
Sunday Afternoon 6/26/22, I ordered a Cob salad with extra Avocado, the chopped pieces of Avocado through out the salad were black not just on one side but all the way through each piece. I tried digging them out as I saw them, but eventually realizing that the salad became so unappetizing and disgusting that I gave up and threw it away. I don't see how anyone could prepare food and not notice. Apparently customer satisfaction is not a priority at this location.
Came to chop stop to get a salad and they were closed? Claims to be open until 9. Went at 6:30 pm on November 27th. Thanks for wasting my time.
2 months later after original post... Every time that I order from this place, "Joey," seems to be the ONLY employee that consistently uses his gloves! I don't think the other employees, including the owner, realizes the importance of wearing gloves! You guys are preparing SALADS! All RAW ingredients! Therefore; its so easy to cross contaminate foods that can't be killed with heat, because it's "RAW!" there's also another female that has long acrylic nails, she actually made my salad a couple times, and she wasn't wearing gloves. I said something to her, and she looked at me like I was speaking in cursive! If there was a closer location, I'd definitely stop coming here. To the owner of this establishment, please train your staff, and yourself, on proper food handling and wearing gloves! "( 4 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 for the taste/quantity)
We used to enjoy coming here a lot pre-pandemic. It's a bit pricey in my opinion, but it's a healthier option than other places. There is a good amount of options. We used to really enjoy the cookies as well. The customer service is not what it used to be. The options have good ingredients. I noticed they are more sustainable based on their salad packaging. It's not as pretty, but better for the Earth. My main issue this time we visited was their promotional BAD TASTE wall decor. Being Mexican born and raised in this country while also knowing the stereotypes we are subjected to simply because of nationality has been a challenge. When I saw this chopurrito advertisement on their wall and I'm sitting there contributing to the success of your business while feeling insulted it is a TRIPPLE slap to the face. Not only am I a 1. Mexican contributing to your business... 2. I'm contributing to your ignorance, perpetuation of stereotypes about our people and putting down our food, while you're also 3. benefitting from traditional Mexican food ideas and ingredients. The advertisement reads "Its mommy was a chop and its daddy was a burrito. In school, it used to get teased for displaying too many tasty, chopped veggies. But look at its former classmates now: big, greasy couch burritos who never amounted to anything. Celebrate diversity, and grow up to be strong and healthy like the Chopurrito®. You are what you eat, after all." Dear chop stop I would really recommend doing some research or hiring a consultant before posting ignorant and offensive advertisements such as these. I can't tell you how much my blood boiled while eating next to this sign. Let me share a few things with you to begin: In school a burrito is a kid that is not doing well in school and sometimes even considered unintelligent so don't even bring up burrito and class in a sentence unless you know what you're talking about. Also, in the Mexican language burrito can also be a person that stubbornly does not listen... basically someone who is hard headed. You use these words without any real understanding of our food, history, struggles, or language. The real punch to the gut was this line: "But look at its former classmates now: big, greasy couch burritos who never amounted to anything" Good job shaming our food yet benefiting from our ideas. "Couch burritos" reminds me of the stereotype that labels us Mexicans as lazy. I can guarantee that our food takes a lot of work to prepare especially when some of us actually cook and make a lot of our food from scratch as much as possible. I for one hate canned food or microwave food. How dare you benefit from our food and culture while putting down not only our beloved traditional burrito, which by the way doesn't necessarily need to be greasy, lazy, or amount to anything.... Then act like you're being inclusive and embracing diversity. This brings to mind cultural appropriation. Cultural appropriation takes place when members of a majority group adopt cultural elements of a minority group in an exploitative, disrespectful, or stereotypical way. (Definition from britannica.com). I don't even have to read between the lines to know how you perceive our food, culture, and people. This is so blatantly obviously stated in your wanna be cute advertising. Your "healthier" burritos are a cultural attack and put down to our traditional burrito. You putting down our food through all those negative labels and placing your burritos on a pedestal really bothers me. Your food is no better than ours especially when you're simply a copycat. I do not personally feel embraced by this ignorant attack on our delicious food. You are out of touch with our community. This was not carefully thought of...or was it? I kindly request that you come up with better and more respectful advertising method and take down this insulting trash. You can do better so live up to your name chop, and STOP 🛑 with the ignorance, negativity, put downs, supremacy, and cultural insensitivity. Our burritos amount to a delicious meal.
This is my 2nd time trying this place and I went in excited to taste a different salad and what I received was unacceptable both my salads tasted old the lettuce was not fresh and it was soggy I’m not one to write bad reviews but the salad was not edible it didn’t smell good and the lettuce looked old ontop of that I asked for chicken and they gave it to me looking like cat food in my salad I couldn’t even taste the chicken or see any pieces with how mixed it was with my salad won’t be coming here anymore
