Excellent quality food and great service. This restaurant is truly a gem. We decided to eat outside because the weather is perfect today. Our Elizabeth our waitress was great. Both of us are impress the food selection is terrific the prices are fair and the food is very high quality and perfectly prepared.
Love this place and we have been here many times. Seafood is always so fresh... its pricey... options are somewhat limited... but the quality of food is always on point. Turn times can be a little long but they always packed... and for good reason. Make sure to allow a decent amount of time to eat. Oysters and rare scallops are to die for. Solid clam chowder and clam linguine. If you are lucky, you can catch them during soft shell crab season... we will be back!
We had a really great dinner on a Saturday night at this location. The wait was 45 minutes to get in and we did wait along time for our food, but it was clear that it was a very busy Saturday night. We ordered the Macnut Mahi Mahi and Halibut along with the sides of Brussel Sprouts and the baked potato. The baked potato was a little dry, but the mashed potato’s were delicious. Would definitely recommend.
By far my favorite place to go out on a beautiful date. Oysters are excellent. All the food and cocktails are never disappointing. If anyone is looking for a great date night-go here!!
Sunday, 21 September 2025: Saturday, 20 September was my first time ever eating in King's Fish restaurant. It was my wife, Marisol's birthday. I called King's and a wonderful young hostess answered. Her name is LILLIAN. Lilly gave me excellent directions better than Google maps & Map Quest. Bilingual Waitress, ESMERALDA was good and General Manager, ROGER was excellent. My wife & my friend, Lynn & her husband all Love the food except the corn. Crabcakes was so tasty that I bought two more. My first time, but not my last. Two Thumbs Up.
My husband and I decided to get the Lobster rolls. There are 2 different choices to choose from. Which are. 1. Traditional which is mayonnaise base which the sandwich is cold. 2. Made with brown butter served as a hot sandwich. We loved both. My husband likes the traditional and I like the butter base one. Great service. We made a reservation using open table.
This is my go to for oysters and halibut and mahi-mahi and lobster and shrimp and sea bass and.... you get the idea. Amazing service AND DINING IS EXCEPTIONAL. The side dishes are flavorful and they honor most requests when slightly altering your order ex. Asking for capers in lemon butter creams sauce on the side instead of the sauce that comes with the entree. I love it here Always -so far so good-!
This restaurant will never let me forget how amazing their food is, and for me to say that is very difficult. Due to the "covid" there are longer than normal wait times, just expect it. Back to the food, your meal will take about your average wait time to be pushed out but the chef and sue chefs are amazing because everything here is fresh, not microwaved and perfectly seasoned. The appetizers are great, you will not regret it. If I could rate this a ten stars I would in a heardbeat. I hope this restaurant never changes their amazing ways.
We had a fantastic dinner at King Fish in Rancho Cucamonga! The seafood was fresh, cooked perfectly, and seasoned just right - you can really taste the quality. The menu has a great variety, from classics to more creative dishes, and everything we tried was spot-on. Service at the table was excellent - attentive without being intrusive, and the food came out quickly. If I’m being honest, the host and hostess could use a little more warmth and personality at the front - not the most welcoming greeting. But once we were seated, the rest of the experience more than made up for it. Overall, the food and dining experience earn a full 5 stars. This spot is absolutely worth checking out if you’re in Rancho Cucamonga and craving fresh, flavorful seafood. We’ll definitely be back!
My wife and I chose King's Fish House to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary, and it turned out to be a delightful dining experience. We arrived without a reservation and opted for outdoor seating, which did require a short wait, but it was worth it for the lovely atmosphere. Our host, Alexis, was a standout. She warmly greeted us and patiently walked us through the menu, making thoughtful recommendations. We appreciated her genuine enthusiasm for ensuring we had a memorable evening. We decided to try the Macadamia Nut-crusted Mahi Mahi with Brussel Sprouts and Asparagus, and Alexis kindly suggested we share it. To our pleasant surprise, when our plates arrived, everything was already divided for us, saving us the hassle. The food itself was a true highlight of the evening. The Macadamia Nut-crusted Mahi Mahi was cooked to perfection, and the sides were equally delectable. The flavors were well-balanced, and the presentation was impeccable. As a sweet gesture for our anniversary, we were treated to a complimentary slice of Key Lime Pie. It was a delightful end to the meal, with a perfect blend of tartness and sweetness. The only minor downside was the additional charge for the sides, which we didn't expect, but it didn't diminish our overall enjoyment. Throughout the evening, Alexis continued to provide excellent service, making sure everything was alright and checking in on us without being intrusive. Her kindness and smiles seemed really genuine to us. In the end, our visit to King's Fish House was a memorable one. The combination of outstanding service from Alexis and exceptional food made our Wedding Anniversary dinner truly special. We left with full hearts and satisfied taste buds, eager to return for another memorable dining experience.
It was my first time being there a little skeptical at first but so delicious. Good place to go eat good food.
My husband and I were here a week ago for their delicious food, I lost my sunglasses and called the restaurant. The hostess Dominque searched for it and found them and called me right away. What great service and work ethics! The waiter who helped us kept it safe. The food is amazing here, with great quality seafood. I’m very particular with seafood since it can often smell “fishy” or not fresh. However, Kings Fish House has one of the best seafood in the area! Thank you for your excellent service and care! This has turned into one of my favorite restaurants! 🥳
Awesome flavors, great service. Very fresh, quality ingredients. I definitely recommend this seafood restaurant, one of my favorites in the IE. My Farmed B.C. Atlantic Salmon was perfectly cooked, it was juicy, tender and well seasoned. The garlic mashed potatoes were great and my zucchini’s were yummy too. The blackened shrimp taquitos are delicious. Loved it all. I must return😉
The food is the bomb!! Definitely recommend anyone who likes seafood to come to this place. The clamchowder was smooth, silky, and delicious! Lobster was perfect no need to explain it! Finally, the bread pudding was a delicate soft rich sweet tasty bread and the ice cream complemented the hot soft cake topped off with caramel created the perfect dessert 🍩🍨
Great friendly service and amazing food. Had a friend who is unsure about trying any raw foods join us for dinner the waitress was extremely understanding and helped her choose a few things that she may want to try. This friend took that advice and tried raw oysters for the first time and love them! The waitress did a great job explaining the taste and texture and why she thought certain ones might be the most enjoyable to try for the first time.
The food was amazing! Based on that, alone is a reason to visit or re-visit. I have to say there's more to it tho. My first visit, we had the honor of having Andrew as our Server. I could tell he really cares about the service he provides. He was very thoughtful and kind! We let him know our dietary restrictions and he was very thorough in describing the menu to us. I appreciate him taking the time. He split our plates for us because we told him we planned on sharing. That's jus an example of how thoughtful he was. I will definitely visit again in the future. 10/10
Delicious, great quick attentive service and had a great time on their patio. We got the cedar plank salmon, which had a little kick to it, it was good, but don't think I would've wanted that flavor for the whole meal, my dad and I split it with the Trout Amandine I ordered. Eating half of each was great.
The Oyster bar keeps fresh Oysters out on display embedded in ice, and at the rear of each Oyster bed is the Harvest Tag! I absolutely love that! Because I'm the guy who always wants to see the harvest date any time I order Oysters. Hahahah God Bless the King's Fish House! We've never had a bad meal here, and the Key lime pie is phenomenal!
Love kings fish house! The quality is always amazing. I also love the bar area you can just walk in and sit down I don’t have to wait for a table usually sent maybe on a Friday night or something. My go to’s are; House salad with blue cheese (best blue) Bread - ong so bomb Poke salad / something about the sauce it’s so good I get extra. Salmon salad - wow Cheeseburger- Now I rarely have this but their burger is surprisingly delicious Enjoy!!
This place went above and beyond our expectations. We had high standards going in. We sat at the bar, so we avoided the 30 minutes of wait time. The bar staff is superb and very knowledgeable about the menu. I even asked an odd question about the leaf 🍃 garnish, and in minutes, the server told me it was a banana leaf. The crab cakes incredible with a light crust, thick meat combination. The lobster crinch was another awesome apatizer.😋 The clam couder paired perfectly with the complimentary sourdough bread. My dad enjoyed his ahi tuna apatizer. All the apatizer dishes made a delightful meal that was light after a long day of black Friday shopping.
This place is pricey but well worth it! We were celebrating and had tried I think every oyster on their menu! They were all so fresh and delicious! I had no idea oysters from different areas can taste so differently! I also ordered a lobster and boy was it good! Our server also added a strawberry to my glass of bubbly, what a sweet touch! Definitely recommend this place!
Great atmosphere, followed by great food, and great service. Our party ate dinner here twice within 5 days. The oysters are fresh and tasted great the condiments with oysters compliment the oyster. Initially we tried the sampler and on night #2 we knew we like the east coast oysters. Sushi was good we ordered the albacore. The poke was phenomenal the sauce was tangy and rich. The carpacio tuna was great too fresh, and tasty. Our party also ordered drinks we had martinis extra dirty with olives, we also ordered lemon drops. The bartenders were cool too, Victoria was excellent given she was waiting on four and making drinks for the rest of the restaurant. I recommend starting at the bar since seating may take up to an hour.
We received exceptional service from our server Victoria. Just the chance we were seated in a booth by the window with a neon light illuminated her name with her name from the building across. We were there to celebrate our milestone ten year anniversary and she made it special from start to finish. Thank you Victoria and Kings Fish House. Mike❤️Ken
Best Resturant in Victoria Gardens. This has been my favorite place lately in all of the Inland Empire. The Food , Drinks, Service and Ambience all together makes for an awesome experience. I always have the oysters 😋 they are so delicious. Do not pass up the Habanero Mignonette that's my favorite. The Menu Changes DAILY ,,,Yes everyday. To ensure the freshest seasfood. The oysters always change on the daily as well. These are the best oysters I had besides Seattle Washington. I also recommend the Misu Glaze Salmon. It's sooo delicious.. The hostess, wait staff, Bar staff are always so friendly. The prices are very reasonable for the type of food they serve. This place does get busy on Friday or Saturday nights. I recommend putting your name down and walking around on those days. Then come back when table is ready.
I didn't have my phone so no pics. We had the oyster sampler platter which was amazing of course. The oysters are the reason to go there. The cocktails were also excellent. We also had cold scallops, soft shell crab and hard shell crab. Scallops were nice as was the hard shell crab. Neither of us ever had soft shell crab before so we didn't know what to expect. The texture was mushy and the crab itself had no flavor but was overpowered by the seasoning. It sat on a bed of couscous that was equally unpalatable due to excessive seasoning. We took the soft shelled crab to go and it went into the trash when we got it home. For sure I would stop in to this restaurant anytime for the sampler platter. I could do without any of the rest of what we ordered. Edit Update: I have since had softshell crab twice elsewhere so now I know that the soft shelled crab at this place is utterly wrong. Stick with the oysters and you will not be disappointed.
The food was terrific. Along with the friendly staff. The patio was nice. This location is in an outdoor mall, but it is quiet and has a relaxing vibe. We had fresh shellfish. We had an assortment platter. With different sauces and dips. I would recommend this to anyone who lives in the area needing that seafood fix but can't get to the coast.
This is my favorite local place for seafood. When I'm craving oysters, this is where I go. My go-tos are: oysters, yellowtail carpaccio, beet salad, calamari, and the poke. I prefer an array of appetizers over an entree because it's more fun that way. Everything is always fresh. Service is great but better on slower days.
First, warning: the clam chowder and sea food soups both have non-optional bacon. The beet salad with the grapefruit red wine vinegrette and pecans was delicious, and readily split for two. The sea bass tacos were beautifully presented (and split for two), but the sea bass didn't taste fresh. The butter cake was delicious, also enough for 2. Note that they didn't charge split plate fees. Service was excellent and it's clear that the manager really cares about providing a high quality experience. Highly recommend. We'll be back.
We really enjoyed our time here. The menu has an incredibly diverse selection, and lots of good choices. Tonight we had the Alaskan halibut, and the swordfish. Very beautiful steaks! The only downfall was the air conditioning was set to about 68°, so if you have a tendency to be cold, take a sweater! This place is definitely recommended!!
Always a pleasure to come here. I love their oysters I always get the assorted dozen, they taste so fresh and delicious. I tried the lobster sandwich and split it, it was so good. I loved the butter sugar they added to it, great flavor and not rubbery! I asked for this amazing sauce that taste like ranch and creamy siracha mixed together. The mashed potatoes were also good, very creamy. We also ordered the king crab cakes with arugula, also very good! I recommend all the plates I ordered. The waitress was also very sweet and gave her opinion on the food we ordered. Very great choices. Thank you 😊
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an incredible experience at King's Fish House in Rancho Cucamonga! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff. The seafood selection was outstanding, and the flavors were spot-on. Whether you're a seafood aficionado or just looking for a delicious meal, this place hits the mark. The highlight for me was the freshness of the ingredients and the variety of options available. The attention to detail in each dish truly sets King's Fish House apart. I also appreciated the seamless service and the knowledge the staff had about the menu. If you're looking for a top-notch seafood restaurant with a fantastic ambiance, King's Fish House is a must-visit. I can't wait to come back for another delightful dining experience! 🦀🌊🍽
We had an outstanding experience at King’s Fish House in Rancho Cucamonga. From the moment we sat down, the service set the tone—our waitress was phenomenal. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely made the meal feel special. One highlight was the edamame appetizer; she introduced us to a spicy sauce that isn’t even listed on the menu. As someone who loves heat, I was impressed—this sauce had the perfect kick and elevated the dish completely. Every seafood item we ordered was prepared perfectly, fresh and full of flavor. You can tell the kitchen takes real pride in getting things right. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, and the overall climate of the restaurant made it easy to settle in and enjoy the evening. Parking was simple, too. The garage just a block away offers free parking, and the short walk over was no trouble at all. From start to finish, the combination of exceptional service, delicious food, and a comfortable setting made this a fantastic dining experience. We’ll definitely be back.
We made reservations at King’s Fish House and were seated within about 10 minutes, which was impressive considering how packed the restaurant was. The customer service was great from the moment we walked in. Our waiter, Aaron, was exceptional and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the entire meal. We ordered the fried catfish with mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts, and also the lobster tail with mashed potatoes and zucchini. Everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. We paired our meal with a few glasses of Pinot Grigio, which were fabulous and the perfect complement to the seafood. We spent about $185 Even though the restaurant was busy, the noise level was minimal and the overall atmosphere was a vibe. There were a lot of families dining, which gave the place a warm, welcoming energy. Definitely a great spot for a nice seafood dinner, and we’ll be back.
It was an absolutely joyful discovery for us, as lovers of wild Sea foods! The place is usually busy, so, better to make a reservation before coming. Great and big variety of options to choose from, even my favorite oysters (Kumamoto) were available at the time. The waitress was professional and welcoming, and managed all our adjustments perfectly. So, we had an amazing dinner with a perfectly cooked combination of tastes. Thank you!
I love coming here with the guys after a long range day. We always do the oyster sampler!
The food and service were excellent. My husband ordered the Cioppino soup with pasta and I had the lemon/nut crusted fish. Both incredibly delicious. Will definitely come back here. AVA, our server was incredible!! Very patient and super friendly. My young son even mentioned how she was the best waitress ever- LOL. Great experience overall.
My wife and I desperately needed a night out after a rough Saturday and the universe sent us here. Bar? Wow Oyster selection? Wow First mate platter? Wow Cocktails? Wow Service? Wonderful from start to finish. Music playing at an appropriate volume? Yes. It was all that and plate of hot bread.
Came here on Saturday night. Got sat right away, no wait. And we definitely enjoyed the food! Wow! Every thing we ordered was delicious!! My husband and I split the Crab cakes, macadamia-crusted halibut (chef’s kiss), Caesar salad, shrimp bucatini pasta and a loaf of the warm sourdough bread. Sides: candied Brussel sprouts and flash fried cauliflower. 😍 it was all amazing. There was NO FOOD left on the table. And Our waiter was very attentive; she brought us anything we needed immediately! And given that we don’t drink alcohol, I love that they had some mocktails options to choose from! (But their bar menu is also VERY robust). This is definitely one of the best seafood restaurants in the area. Highly recommend.
We had reservations for a group of 8 for a birthday lunch. Everyone loved their dish! The fish is fresh and flavorful with good portion of sides. My favorite sides are the mashed potatoes and the vegetables. The mac & cheese is delicious and not too heavy. For the fish, I highly recommend the macadamia nut crusted halibut, it is my go to order, it is delicious and consistent every time! For the tacos, we asked if we can get shrimp tacos instead of the sea bass and they happily accommodated our request and it was delicious. The service was great, i highly recommend this place for anyone craving seafood
The service was great and the food was excellent! The atmosphere was lively and they also have seating at thr bar. We went on a Friday night so there was about a 30+ minute wait but there were plenty of shops close by to keep us occupied. On Friday night parking is a huge challenge but its worth it.
I have been here a couple times and they're absolutely wonderful & worth every time. I love their oyster bar, they offer a very nice selection, from Pacific to Eastern oysters. You may order a pre-selected 1/2 dozen or full dozen OR custom order each individually. I have had their cioppino dish, not pictured, their shrimp & scallops & my son tried their sea bass and everything was fresh & so delicious! Their service is beyond expectations, I really wished I had gotten the last waitress name because she was amazing. They have outside seating available also and the atmosphere is very clean & pleasant. I am definitely adding King's Fish House as one of local favorites ♡
It’s a great restaurant if you want something for special occasion! Food, service, atmosphere - everything is good. They have not disappointed us, we have been third or fourth time today. Usually there is no issue with getting a table but today we were told they do not accept walk ins, you have to have a reservation. We had to leave the restaurant and make a reservation through Open table in 10 minutes! We came back to the restaurant and were seated immediately! I do not know why we were not offered to make a reservation at the restaurant in first place . Anyway I highly recommend this restaurant!
I really loved this place. The food was so fresh and the service was excellent. They have a great selection for wine and the restaurant is beautiful. It is in the center of so many shops so it’s convenient and the prices match the services. I will absolutely be returning. Another great thing was how accommodating they are to the kids. They don’t just give a drawing and crayons they give them a little book with stickers and all. It’s the little things that count.

The baked potatoes and sirloin steak were really amazing and their fries were awesome. What I loved about this is that I got to watch the World Series go Dodgers!
This location can be very crowded. Reservations are recommended. The food was really good. Everything is fresh meaning that the venue is printed every day and the prices go up and down like it's Wall Street. I recommend their house drinks versus the standard drinks you find everywhere else. So no Moscow mule, pick a different drink only they sell.
Very very busy, if you come make a reservation or wait 1-2 hrs. Or if you are lucky you can get a bar chair without waiting other than seeing someone leave and grabbing the chair. Scallops were too salty, the carrots were delicious, salads were good and the oysters were good but it depends on what you pick. Try a variety pack first. It's expensive so make sure you can afford it.
The menu was great! Lots of choices. Land or sea plenty of options. I got the Wild Alaskan Halibut Tacos. My sis got the sword fish, the others got various dishes everyone was happy with their meals but me. For 2 tacos and a hand full of chips it cost $22! I didn't realize what the chips were for til I looked at some of the other reviews and saw they had a side of guacamole with their meal and looked like another dip of sorts. I didn't get anything to dip my chips in. I was not impressed. Everyone else liked what they got. My dish wasn't anything to write home about. And this was my California trip. I was going to some really nice restaurants. This wasn't one of the them.
King's Fish House has really changed. The service was outstanding! The food was delicious. A group of friends and I ate here today and we couldn't have been more pleased. We will definitely be back again. I ordered the cobb salad and it did not disappoint. You must try it you'll love it!
Good ambiance, great service and excellent oysters! It’s a must for oysters and seafood lovers, everything was so fresh! Cioppino (very generous portions) and butter cake were so delish too! Fish was overall fresh and decent, the only complaint would be a bit plain. Overall, it’s a good place for seafood. Oyster selections are good. Def worth trying. Don’t sleep on this place!
First time coming here: I went on a Friday evening and the place was a little packed, however we made a reservation ahead of time and were seated almost right away. We initially came to this place for the crab legs but were told that unfortunately they are currently not serving them due to there being a stoppage with their vendor. Nevertheless, our waiter was kind enough to make some recomendations and took his time taking our orders. The food overall was good, I highly recommend the clam chowder, every single bite was full of deliciousness.
Always great!!! On this trip to KIng's Fish House, I decided to eat at the bar. It was a warm October afternoon, and the restaurant was filling up. The bar area of King's is bright well decorated. My bartender that day was fun and friendly and gave me some great tips on what to eat. On this visit, I decided on the Boston Clam Chowder, which was great, the Oyster shots, which were interesting at the very least, but easy enough to eat and actually quite good. I kept my main course simple and had the Shrimp and Scallops. The scallops were delicious, cooked thoroughly right through. The shrimp was tender and juicy. The food is always great at King's. I can't wait for my next visit.
Good food, and great service. Food was good. For how busy it gets the servers, and waiters are all great. If you're into seafood pastas like me, this place doesn't have any. However, the selection of cooked fish is great. Overall, the food here is comparable with other seafood houses I've been to. Couldn't really pinpoint what makes this place stand out compared to others. Although, this place takes a top spot for a fish house in the local area. Update: I made a second visit, and ordered the Tuna Melt and a cup of chowder. This was a hit for me. Both items were amazing. If I ever return, that is what I'm getting
I went with family for dinner to celebrate a HS graduation, first time visiting. The service was great, and the food was delicious. We sat outside in the patio, so it got cold, plus lots of noise from cars passing by, which were a bit loud. I enjoyed this restaurant, and I will plan on returning soon.
Must try. The only reason that I'm giving it a 4 stars is because of the wait time. We waited 2 hours. Good thing we we're able to walk around and kill some time. But anywhere, to the food. My steak was grilled very well, I asked for a char-medium done. Which was done right. The asparagus was cooked good as well, good seasoning. The oyster sampler platter is a must if you like fresh raw food. Service was great. Stop by and give it a try.
We enjoy going for dinner and we always ask for Monica M. as our Server. She has a great personality and is very attentive to all her customers. We've had several of the main entrée items and have been pleased with each of them. One thing that needs attention. My husband says, that the men's bathroom, around the urinals is disgusting.
I love this place. I love the ambiance of the fish house look they have. The food is a consistent B to B+, which is hard to come by these days with steak and seafood at this price point. The service is hit or miss unless you sit at the bar.
Stopped by on our way back from the River and was really looking forward to some great seafood, because I used to love the one in Long Beach and it’s just been way too long. Service was very friendly and efficient, but the flavors I was used to weren’t there I had the cioppino which was ok, but lacked depth of flavor and the sea bass was the same. I did order clam chowder to go and they gave us extra bread, which was amazing. They even packed my leftovers and snuck some fresh bread in with that as well, so rounded up to 4 stars for the effort. Plus the flavors were easily kicked up with Tabasco, but was really hoping to taste a little bit of nostalgia from my regular trips to King’s in Long Beach.
Our fish was prepared well, the sides were amazing, and the sushi was authentic. There were so many amazing options that it's hard to settle for just one. The specialty drinks were so worth the cost, some of the best crafted cocktails in the suburbs. We went for our daughter's 16th bday dinner, so the price was worth the occasion. And the slice of bday cake was great, but they don't sing for you here, even though most of the staff look like they are waiting for their next acting or modeling gig. 🤔

It was nice coming here for dinner recently during the holiday. Although we didn't have a reservation, the wait time was minimal for the bar area. Table dining would have taken a little longer. \n\…

We've gone to King's for years & enjoyed good food & service. On April 29th. 2021 we , with another couple, went here for dinner & birthday celebration. As it turned out, it was a very sad mi…
The atmosphere and staff were great! With a big party, sometimes food is rushed to come out at the same time. My rice was hard/undercooked. I wouldn't recommend the Nawlins BBQ Shrimp. The flavors weren't as described and I left feeling hungry. I recommend they add more vegetables to the plate. However, others in my party did enjoy the salmon. I'll try them again one day.
This is my wife and I go to place but tonight was bad. Reservation placed for 8 pm indoors. But Was seated outside. When I asked to keep my seating to my original reservation it was a long wait with no acknowledgement of the issue. I was there 20 minutes before I was seated. Wife had the miso yaki sea bass which is always great. I tried the New England lobster and clam bake. Lobster was overcooked and missing a lot of flavor. Clams were a bit dry and corn was inedible. Pretty expensive meal to be disappointed. First time I’ve had a bad experience here, hopefully it’s the last.
While the oysters were amazing the rest of the meal was not good. The fish and chips were oily and soft. The fish batter was soaked in oil and the fries were soggy. The sushi roll did not have fresh, sushi grade fish. Disappointed with our meal. Service was decent and the outside patio was very nice. Wish I could say positive things about the food.
Eh... It was OK. Ordered Salmon, it was mediocre. $9 for some corn which was a little cold. My biggest complaint was the server. I went with a buddy and the server brought one check, no issue i asked him for separate checks. Im not sure if he thought I was joking or what but he came back again like 10 minutes later to get the check without bringing the separate checks in which we waited another few minutes for. Im not going to lie, it affected his tip. Will i go back? Maybe.
The bar staff was amazing! Always checking on us, friendly and great energy! Our waitress not so much.
Restaurant was very slow when I arrived. Ordered a crab, it smelled funny, was over cooked and cold. Also a tuna , which was well done and dry , supposedly it is seared, also cold. The only thing we had that actually came warm, was the baked potato. Also witnessed a female in a red Hawaiian shirt, stick her fingers into 3 pieces of fish. Disappointed
My food was very delicious. I ordered the Scallops and they were very delicious. But not $35.00 delicious. The quantity were so small, I could gave put them in the palm of my hand. They were all different sizes and I could have put them all in my mouth I one time. I ordered the oysters on the half shell and I never received them. After reminding the waitress on 3 occasions. Food taste, excellent, service, not so much!
Let me just say that the customer service is on POINT and the fact that we went on a Sunday at 1pm and the staff was absolutely amazing. My cup was never empty and at no point on time did I have to look for a waitress. We ordered the Calamari which was good. A dozen Oysters and let me tell you they have this habanero pico type topping for them and It was so good. SOO GOOD! My husband got the lobster tail and OMG was it good especially with the Mashed potatoes it was BOMB. I ordered the clam linguine and it was not good at all. The "sauce" looked like dirty sink water and the noodles absolutely tasted like tap water. They do add a good portion of clams though. I hate paying for nasty food so that was $26 in the garbage. It was so bad I couldn't take more than 2 bites. So if you're reading this skip the linguine but definitely try this place.
Oysters were great, raw fish was excellent. Calamari, burger and artichoke were ok. Steaks were chewy and cold. Asparagus was raw, maybe was supposed to be thay way 🤷♂️. 4 out of 5 peoples sides were cold. Lobster and cooked fish had weird texture. Staff was good, prices fair, should make a reservation. They probably had a bad night based on other great reviews that drew us here.
Food was delicious but the service was subpar. Had to ask for a high chair multiple times and then they forgot about my son’s plate. We had to get up and go find the waiter to ask about his plate since she never came back after she took the order.
the food was super good i ordered the lobster sandwich it was delicious oysters were also super good but the coleslaw tasted super off and threw off the meal because it tasted funky. service also wasn’t the greatest because we weren’t really getting attended and servers would not look our way when it wasn’t even busy in there but they were nice just not the quickest.
The Inland Empire has a paucity of fish houses, and so I was very excited to try this place with my family. The ambience was great, the staff were friendly, but the food, I'm afraid, was not very good. My wife got the macadamia-crusted halibut: it was overdone and had the consistency more of chicken than of halibut (though the crust was flavorful). I had the fish and chips, and the fish was fairly soggy. We didn't try anything from the raw bar, which might have been better; but all things considered, a disappointment. We could have gotten better fish from the "Cheese Factory" next door, as our little daughter calls it.
The place looks good, it's clean, and the food is good. I know it's a fish house. However, I ordered a well-done Filet mignon, even though it's supposed to be medium-rare. But I can't see blood in my food. Now, I rate the place with two stars because the hostesses allowed a guest to walk in with a poodle in his arms. They should have immediately asked the man to step outside with the dog. First impressions are essential. So, it was my first and last visit. 🤢
We were looking for seafood and the wait at a different restaurant was too long. Remembered about Market Broiler in Ontario being in the area and hadn't been there in several years and decided to go there for dinner. I called ahead and put my name down and we were there in under 20 minutes and were seated right away. The location was good with plenty of other businesses since it located at Ontario Mills. The staff was friendly and our waiter provided great service. The ambiance was well lit and clean. The menu was pretty extensive with plenty of options for seafood and land lovers. Our server provided fresh baked bread with butter which was absolutely delicious! After reviewing the menu we settled on a Red Snapper and Shrimp plate and a Chicken Piccata plate. The Red Snapper was delicious. "Chicken breast" in general has been hit or miss at some restaurants with an odd texture that pops/snaps when you chew certain sections of it. The piccata sauce was good. However, the rice on both of our dishes had more of a jambalaya look and taste which neither of us really cared for. My broccolini was cold and pretty much raw and too hard so I couldn't bite off or chew very much of it. Overall, we don't plan on going back anytime soon.
I actually enjoy coming here during the day, everything and everyone is so gracious and polite!!! However this evening was a different story. I was met with a female bartender/bar-back who was extremely rude towards me and my bf who had just came to watch the game and enjoy some of our favorite oysters. This female employee was adamant about not serving us to the point where we had to involve the manager Shane. Tonight’s game with the Dodgers and dinner was ruined and racist because that’s how both bartenders treated our experience. Shane was respectful and responsive and I feel bad that he had to answer to their actions; how embarrassing. (Those employees should be retrained)
King Fish is not what it used to be. We were looking forward to a wonderful fish dinner. Unfortunately, it was not good enough to finish, or take home left overs. We won't go back. Thebwaitress didn't even care to inquire when I mentioned it was not what I had hoped it would be.
Unacceptable Service - Cleared Our Full Table Without Permission "I had a deeply frustrating experience at this King’s Fish House. My friend and I went outside for a quick smoke break, but not before specifically informing the hostess to hold our table as we’d be back shortly. We had just ordered two beers that were completely untouched. When we returned, we were shocked to find our entire table—including the fresh drinks and food—had been cleared away. Instead of an apology for the mistake, the staff was incredibly rude. They dismissively asked if we were 'still hungry' as if that justified clearing an occupied table. When I requested they replace the food they threw away, the staff became confrontational, demanding a 'yes or no' answer on whether I wanted the fish, treating me with zero respect. The lack of communication between the hostess and the floor staff is one thing, but the hostile, 'take it or leave it' attitude from the servers was completely unacceptable. Warning to others: don't expect your table to still be there if you step away for a minute, and don't expect an apology if they mess up."
