Locale ottocentesco che mantiene inalterato il suo fascino originale, nonostante gli inevitabili ritocchi. Buona la cucina e apprezzabile la ricerca di pietanze della tradizione italiana, carni, formaggi, verdure, spesso "oscurate" dalla pastasciutta. Servizio cordiale e ospitale. Soddisfacente anche il conto.

This was a lovely casual spot for lunch. We sat outside. The wait staff was very helpful and offered great suggestions. The chicken and peppers in red sauce was delicious. It is a small menu but the items are tremendous. Really enjoyed our little lunch here.

A city where queues are long and it is hard to know if you are going to have a good experience. Well thanks to Alex our waiter, at the Ai Tri Scalini, we did. A simple lunch beset with a long wait as we think the kitchen was struggling. The queues did not stop behind us. We had soups of the day and the roast pork. Both delicious. The wine was a Pinot Grigio on the skin. A Lovelly twist on a Rose.

Welcoming and fun place to stop for a glass of wine and stay for a meal. We walked past several times a few years ago before going back to try to grab a meal. The staff made us feel extremely welcome, the wine by the glass selection that is written on the black board is fantastic and the food is plentiful, fresh and delicious. Been back to Rome twice since then and always make time to eat here

Not the place to eat although they have some delicious choices of small meals and we had the chicken in sauce (had to order potatoes on the side because it does not come with anything). But they do have some delicious wines and beers. The service is great, the guys are charming, the environment very upbeat and fun.

Great food, tiny restaurant. We were walking past and were drawn by the floral exterior. Restaurant looked crowded and bustling during lunch, so we decided to give it a chance. Managed to get a seat with minimal wait. Food came quickly and was good. Wished we had space to try the Tiramisu. We saw many people ordering it.

If you want fast paced service this is definitely the place in Rome, we were sat down and drinking wine within 5 minutes. I had the Porchetta and my wife had the lasagna. I’m not joking I moaned and prayed after ever bite of the Porchetta. It’s my first time ever having it so I asked for the honey mustard that they offer upon request. I felt like I insulted them after I was finished. 100/10. Couldn’t asked for a better experience.

The meat balls are so freaking good! Went here to kick off our Rome trip and oh my did we start with a banger! We had the meat balls in tomato sauce and their chicken and both were great. The chicken falls off the bone and the meat balls are not even remotely dry, but juicy and flavourful. Their bread makes for an excelent compliment to the meal to mop up the sauce with (which you will want to do). The restaurant has a nice cosy vibe.

Love this restaurant! My husband and I found this place in 2015 and have been back every time we have come to Rome. The vibe here is excellent and all the staff are so funny and nice. The food is incredible - our favourite is the truffle sausages!! We went last night for dinner and had the best time as always and I’m sure we will return again soon during our trip.

The place captured us from the outside right away - it has this stunning green charm that just sucks you in. Once you get inside you are greeted by an owner who loves what he does, singing and dancing and playing great music . Our server , Marco, was excellent and very kind to us, the food was some of the best Italy has to offer - with the meatballs being my personal fave.

Beautiful restaurant set in beautiful Monti! Service was very friendly, with a smile and nice. Food was delicious. We got a lot of appetizers to try and then had the ricotta ravioli/ Cacio I Pepe and it was sublime! Highly recommend this place! Prices are great. Super cute patio and lots of space inside too. This place is super tasty ! We have 3 sausage and cheese snacks and the ravioli/ panchetta for the main. The prices are reasonable. We also forgot our bag here they kept it aside for us when we went to claim. Can’t thank you enough ! The food and drinks are amazing and the vibes are great. Our server was very sweet, she was quick and appreciate her so much! It’s actually our second time here and would definitely come back for a third next time in Rome !

Came for a drink, stayed for food. Ambiance is great, there were lots of locals hanging out on the evening we went. We started with wine and beer, but decided to eat as well as we saw food come out for other tables. The food was delicious. We had the octopus salad and the grilled chicken dish. We also shared the Cacio e Pepe ravioli. Ended up making friends with the table next to us (two locals with great recommendations). Server was very nice and didn’t rush us out after our meal was finished. Would definitely recommend for a casual dinner/drinks spot

We stopped by this restaurant for lunch and loved it! Sitting outside was so nice, and the service was friendly and attentive. Everything we ordered was delicious—the spinach salad, fried anchovies, lasagna, and especially the chicken, which was way better than we expected! The Aperol Spritzes were spot-on too. We were so busy enjoying everything that we forgot to take any food photos, but you can trust that the quality here is pretty good. Recommend if you're in the area!

Bellissimo locale tradizionale dove poter mangiare qualcosa e bere un buon bicchiere di vino. Buona la scelta del menù e anche varia. Ottima la carta dei vini. Il personale è molto gentile, disponibile e veloce nel servizio. Ciò che abbiamo ordinato noi era buono e siamo rimasti ben impressionati. La nostra è stata una sosta felice. Prezzi nella norma. Sono disponibili piatti per vegetariani.

Prima volta a pranzo, c'era molta gente ma comunque abbiamo atteso poco, personale molto gentile e disponibile e ambiente caratteristico, nella meravigliosa zona Monti. Abbiamo preso una bottiglia d'acqua un calice di vino un cocktail analcolico pane e due secondi, nello specifico una fetta di porchetta a testa, molto buona, e due dolci che ho trovato strepitosi, il dolce del giorno una crostatina al limone accompagnata anche dalla panna e una panna cotta, porzioni queste davvero abbondanti, spendendo a testa 25 euro. Ci tornerò.

Locale con atmosfera calda, piacevole e con ottimo staff. Abbastanza frequentato, forse uno dei locali più apprezzati della zona, con tavoli esterni per respirare la tipica atmosfera romana, ed interni per essere interamente avvolto dal calore e dal linguaggio del tutto autentico del locale. Nel menu vengono proposti alcuni piatti vegetariani, e molti altri sicuramente che rispecchiano la storicità del locale, restando comunque in connessione con un’idea fresca di cucina. Soddisfatti e felice di aver passato una serata qui.

I came in as a solo walk in during lunch time. My meal started well with a fast, warm, and delicious appetizer of bread with marinara sauce and basil (€5.50 per portion). However, as a non-vegetarian, I found the texture of the turnip green balls in the main dish really sticky and only ate one, finishing the accompanying pumpkin puree instead. This dish cost me €13. A staff member proactively inquired about the dish, and I shared my feedback about the sticky texture. Despite the poor mobile service inside (I sat by the window), the overall service was good, and I would still like to return to try their meat dishes.

Very busy place, we were able to get seated outside at lunch after a small wait. Simple and tasty. Meatballs were very good! I was so excited to have such a great Greek salad after weeks of eating little to no raw vegetables in Italy 😂

Great food, the main courses and desserts were light and tasty. Good selection of wines, including rosé and orange. Service was fast and efficient, but at times it was difficult to get waiters' attention. We sat by the counter, which wasn't the most comfortable experience, but allowed us to get inside in less than 10 minutes wait time.

The food was very good, and the service was exceptional. The recommended wine was spot on — 10/10. The carpaccio was excellent, 9/10, flavorful and juicy. The meat dish scored 6/10; the sides were absolutely delicious, but the center of the meat was a bit dry. The tiramisu had good flavor, 7/10, though slightly on the drier side. Overall, the experience was elevated by the excellent atmosphere and attentive service. Highly recommended.

So great! Was a bit hesitant bc I’m having a hard time navigating google reviews but this place was lovely. I got the lasagna and hubs did the chicken, and we had a wine and a whiskey. The lasagna was good but the chicken was fantastic. The server was a hoot, singing aloud as he served. Seemed like he liked his job. I didn’t take a before picture but here’s our half eaten food

Don't understand the hype. Food was very mediocre. We got the lasagna which wasn't too big and wasn't served hot enough and the salad with potatoes and octopus which felt like it was lacking some flavor. It's reasonably priced and the street is charming to sit at

A malincuore non posso esimermi dal criticare un posto che ho frequentato per anni e per il quale ho sempre speso parole positive. Ma ora non ci siamo più, è diventato una macchina per fare soldi e basta, perdendo lo spirito popolare e “de core” che l’ha sempre contraddistinto. Non è possibile pagare 10,5 euro per una porzione di insalata greca che è quasi la metà di come è sempre stata in passato (vedi foto), o 12 euro per una piccola porzione di parmigiana di melanzane riscaldata (non hanno la cucina). Birre da 7 euro in su, spritz serviti in bicchierini per l’acqua e stracolmi di ghiaccio. Ieri abbiamo anche atteso quasi 40 minuti per l’insalata e la parmigiana per cui no, non è più il posto di prima. Delusione nel cuore.

Più che il cibo, il bere. Un ottimo prosecco. Come ottimo l'ambiente. Il problema è chi ci ha accolto... Abbiamo chiesto di fare un aperitivo, ci hanno risposto di sì, ma dopo trenta minuti servivano la cena. Ok .. 30 minuti ci bastano. Ma dopo che ci siamo accomodati ci hanno detto che avremmo potuto solo bere, e dopo un po di insistenza ci hanno portato 4 bruschettine all'olio!!!! Ma come li hai serviti gli aperitivi tutto il pomeriggio? Un plauso al ragazzo che ci ha servito al tavolo, che si è prodigato per farci avere .... almeno 4 mezze fette di pane bruschettate e un filo d'olio. Non credo che ci torneremo.

Sono anni che vengo a mangiare qua, mi sono sempre trovata bene sia a mangiare che per il servizio. Ieri a cena non abbiamo mangiato benissimo e il servizio è stato pessimo. Ci hanno fatto aspettare solo per mettere in lista il nostro nome, poi alla richiesta di info ci hanno risposto di aspettare in maniera sgarbata. Una volta seduti ci hanno apparecchiato il tavolo lanciando il coperto, compresi i bicchieri del vino. Tutto il servizio purtroppo non è stato seguito bene e nemmeno il cibo meritava. Peccato, non penso che verrò più.

Porzioni troppo piccole per il prezzo. Abbiamo preso un piatto che sembrava decisamente riscaldato a microonde nonostante nel menù non fosse marcato col simbolo "precotto" (come è purtroppo la maggior parte dei piatti).
