Made reservations and when I showed up we were seated right away and didn't have to wait at all. Food was delicious and our waitress was great. Right outside they have a water fountain where I proposed to my girlfriend right after we ate so it's safe to say that Redrock will always be a great memory for the rest of my life!

Great food & great service, the waiter was very accommodating and well informed on the menu.

Best service in town. You can't put your glass down without someone trying to fill it in a good way. Their chicken fried chicken amazing. everything I've eaten there has been fantastic

If I could give this place 10 million stars I would!!! Me & my boyfriend just moved here from Chicago, IL and it has been very difficult to find great food. This place has changed our minds about Oklahoma.. this restaurant has amazing, quality food, affordable prices and the service is phenomenal!! The ribs are fantastic! Fell right off the bone with an amazing bbq sauce! The rotisserie chicken is so fresh and tasty. Definitely will return and if you haven't gone here you MUST!!! Shout out to our server Reid and kitchen manager Chris they were just awesome and made our first experience bomb!! They even gave us a complimentary dessert since it was our first time.. just an overall wonderful experience! Thank you!

Wow. Just wow. You know it's amazing when the whole table falls silent while eating. We couldn't get enough of the delicious food we were served. The food was flavorful and filled the stomach and soul. The whole staff was welcoming and friendly. We all hope to see one open in the Springfield, Mo soon. We will be back!

I started coming here a couple months ago. I love the food, service and atmosphere, my daughter loves their Root beer floats! But they recently added a Teriyaki Ribeye that is AMAZING! (The only bad things I’ve had was a salad with bad lettuce. No more salads but the rest is so good it still deserves 5 stars) Page is great too! *Sorry about the half eaten steak I was so hungry I forgot to take the pic before I started!

The food was exceptional but be prepared to pay for exceptional. The atmosphere got knocked for me because we were seated right next to the drink filling area and it was chaos. We had a very hard time having s conversation. Staff was great and attentive.

Very busy at 630 on a Saturday. Lots of noise so be prepared to talk loud. Very good food with excellent service. I had the enchiladas and steak, which was very good. Key Lime Pie very good.

We had never been to Red Rock before. We were dressed up, but others were casual. We made a reservation, but it wasn't needed. My chicken fried chicken was great! Huge portions and they substituted the carrots for the grilled squash with no problems. The veggies were fork tender and fantastic. Hubby's shrimp scampi was excellent.

Amazing atmosphere for a relaxing dinner after hectic day at the office. Food is always pleasantly presented and so fresh and full of flavor. They offer dishes you dont find everywhere else, like a deviled eggs starter! I am going to start off saying I will never be able to eat steak anywhere else as this was the best steak I have ever eaten. I could have cut it with my fork and it practically melted in my mouth. The atmosphere was nice. I loved the firepits. The house salad was delicious and not just iceberg lettuce. It had feta cheese, tomatoes, baby spinach, I believe some sort of pecan, and the croutons had to be housemade. The dressing was amazing as well. The grilled zucchini and squash went well with my steak and the mashed potatoes were homemade as well. I ate everything and I rarely do that. I did not care for the deviled eggs, but that was the only thing I didn't care for. They were good but not something I would reorder. I will definitely go back.

I am giving this 5 stars even though I should have sent the meatloaf back as I did not eat it. My son wanted to take me here for my birthday and we had a nice time other than the meatloaf. Positives... -The service is great. Friendly and knowledgeable servers. -The atmosphere has a nice vibe to it. Cozy yet open. -Food-...The food is really good. Definitely some of the better Guacamole I have had. I highly recommend ordering the pork chops. The enchiladas are also good and steak as well based on past trips. If they have the smoke trout dip as special you MUST get it. The mashed potatoes are thick and creamy verses the thin and creamy. I prefer mine the thick way. I loved the glazed carrots. The cons- -Really just the meatloaf. I know it's a specialty, and I was so excited to try it. I should have sent it back. I didn't like the flavor combination. You may. Get the pork chop or one of their other items instead.

Red Rock is our go to dinner spot in Norman! I love the chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes and carrots!

They were able to accommodate our party of 16 at the last minute, had a great atmosphere, our server was attentive and the food was excellent! (I had the Wood Fire Rotisserie Chicken with mashed red potatoes and carrots)... Overall, a wonderful dining experience. Thanks for making graduation dinner awesome for my girl Redrock Canyon Grill!!

This is definitely one my favorite restaurants to visit in the US. The food and service are always top notch, but what makes this special is the park next to it. There is a large water feature with fountains and grandstand seating. Along the sides there is shade and more places to sit.

This restaurant is elegant and exceptional. There is a fireplace at the entrance and the lighting inside is cozy and comfortable. The decor is understated and lends to a peaceful atmosphere.It is very consistent with delicious excellently executed cuisine and professional service. Management on their feet assisting to ensure a pleasing experience. My friend received a gift certificate from his brother who lives in San Francisco. We had taken him and his husband here when they were visiting over a year ago. He remembered and gifted another meal. We started with margaritas, chicken meatballs and deviled eggs. I had Shrimp Corzetti, my friends had Chicken Fried Chicken and the Persimmon Hill meatloaf. We got a side of the Mushrooms. For desert we shared the Berries and Shortbread. The bread had a crunchy texture paired with crisp strawberries and soft sweet berries. Everything was fantastic. My favorites were the mushrooms, the sauce was divine and the dessert was so good. Brandon our waiter was top notch. Thank you for a splendid evening.

The Mrs picked this restaurant in Norman as we are going to Texas. Wow what a find. Our server Jewel really made us feel at home. The food picture perfect tastes as good as it looks. You Folks in Norman have a great place to entertain.

Went to Redrock last night. I got the chicken enchiladas. I always opt for the extra enchilada for $2. Can’t beat that. Overall, they were really good. I’ve gotten them several times in the past but this was probably the best they’ve tasted. Normally they come with pico and guacamole. I just got double sour cream which is why there’s so much sour cream. I cut the pico and the guac and also the green onion garnish. Not a big onion fan. The flavor was really good. The rice had a good flavor as well. It’s a good choice if you like enchilada’s.

We sat at the bar, Jenna was our server, she was awesome. The best steak I have ever had. Over all everything was top notch. Will definitely be back

The service was great and our food came out surprisingly fast. We arrived at 7 on a Sunday night so we may have missed the dinner rush but there were still quite a few people. I would recommend the Gulf Shrimp Saute. The shrimp, meatballs and veggies were very tasty. The noodles were also yummy! This was also my wife and I's first time eating here and we were very confused about the dessert situation since there is none on the menu. Turns out they do not have a separate dessert menu but they do have key lime pie, banana pudding, and "something chocolate." Something Chocolate is ice cream between two brownies with whipped cream on top and both chocolate and caramel sauce surrounding it on the plate. It was enough for my wife and I to share and we both enjoyed it a lot!

I have (severe) gluten intolerance. I feel safe eating here! Wonderful experience. Great service.

We got the ribs and filet with fries and mashed potatoes and it was delicious. Every time we go there the food is good! We went back for a date night and got the steak and salad and the steak has great flavor. The desserts were really good too. My wife liked the brownies and ice cream and I did like the banana pudding. Probably a 7 out of 10. Always happy to come here

Definitely order the rotisserie chicken. The flavor is great. If you don't like mustard, most if the dishes are not for you. My wife ordered the fillet and the description did not mention anything about the mustard sauce (she doesn't eat mustard). I love mustard, so it was a good mustard and blackend flavor profile. Service and ambiance were excellent.

Being from out out of state its difficult to find a place that makes you feel at home. Redrock Canyons' staff does just that. Specifically the Bartenders Jenna and Samantha and one of the hostess whom I forgot her name. They are so attentive and delightful you feel like you are the only person in the room. They have lovely, welcoming and homey personalities and never allow you to want for anything. The menu options have a homemade Midwest taste and vibe in the room eloquent yet comfortable. I highly recommend trying Redrock out.

Amazing food and service. I had the meatloaf and my wife had a crispy chicken cibatta sandwich. Both were delicious. Service is top notch and the restaurant is beautiful and clean. The wash room is very clean and well kept, and the tv in the mirror set a life goal I didnt know i needed! I would love to be here on a cool night sometime to see the beautiful fireplace outside the entrance. Our server Carrie A was a delight and had our drinks ready before they were empty and was a pleasure to visit with.

Cameron and the manager, Carley, were so attentive and kind. Cameron is a Jr. at OU. He is native to Norman and will start his career right here in his hometown. The service and the food was top notch.

Unfortunately I ended up at home with the wrong item. I went back and Jerrod (who is an excellent supervisor) provided the correct item and threw in their key lime pie . (this is the best key lime I have ever had). BTW, the salad was delicious.

Our hostess Kendall was awesome. My steak was perfect 10 out of 10. I do see future return trips.

Got take out for four by ordering over the phone. I was asked to pull into the pick up parking. As soon as I arrived a nice young lady brought the food and ask if I wanted the food in the front or back. She put the order in the car and said thanks for getting take out food. Very nice service. Once home the salad was fresh and tasty, the other dishes were hot and delicious. Wonderful food and service. 👍

We started off with the cornbread and it was tasty. My wife had the Chicken Fried Chicken and she said it was awesome. I chose the 10oz Filet which was not on the menu but was one of the specials offered. The price of it wasn't offered and I didn't think to ask but I was surprised at the $46 price when I got the bill considering my wife's was 1/3 the price. Although it was delicious, it wasn't worth the price. The staff was excellent and worked very well as a team. Overall it was an enjoyable experience and we will go back again.

My wife and I were here for our 32nd wedding anniversary dinner. They did not disappoint! Food was amazing. Great service. The bathrooms were even spectacular. Never seen a tv inside of a mirror before.

Very good. Been here twice. First time I got the steak and it was delicious. I tried their known fire roasted chicken and it was okay. I mean, just chicken. My husband got the pork chop and I don’t like pork and it was fabulous. We also got the deviled eggs and they were good too. We got free ice cream because it was our anniversary.

Everything we ordered was delicious! We started with the Dip Duo (both dips were super flavorful and fresh), followed by the Redrock Salad and Roasted Chicken, which were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The apple crisp for dessert was the perfect sweet ending - warm, comforting, and topped with just the right amount of ice cream. If taste buds could write love songs, the Red Rock Canyon Grill would have an entire Grammy-winning album by now. The food here is so good it made me question every life choice that led to me not eating here sooner. Each bite felt like a culinary hug from someone who really knows their way around butter and seasoning. Didn’t have any drinks because we’re sober, but who needs alcohol when your mouth is throwing a flavor fiesta and your taste buds are doing the Macarena? The scenery outside looked like it was hand-painted by Bob Ross on his best day—serene, gorgeous, and just smug enough to remind you you’re not that photogenic. If heaven has a restaurant, it’s probably run by whoever’s in that kitchen.

We love grabbing dinner or lunch here. They have happy hour that runs from Monday-Friday from 3-6pm. Their salmon Caesar salad is amazing and so is the roasted chicken. Dessert here leaves a lot to be desired but drinks and main entrée will leave you pleased.

I know I rate places five stars if they meet my expectations but Redrock Canyon Grill absolutely deserves every star possible. I went without any expectations and had the best pork chops of my life! Of course I opted for a second pork chop when I ordered and consumed every bite with delight. They were absolutely wonderful. I went back the next night to see if my previous visit was a fluke. I ordered the meatloaf and was blown away with how they take a mundane meal and make it a culinary delight! I cannot recommend this place enough. The food is beyond fantastic. The service is on point. The price is very reasonable for such a great meal.

This is not a place to take a girl on a date. This is the place to take a girl on a date if you want to make a good impression on her. The food. There is so much to say about the food. There is always something a little bit unique about each meal to make it stand out. Even the side items are unique. I ordered the meatloaf and garlic mashed potatoes and subbed a salad for a slight upcharge. It was worth every bit of it. The salad itself was amazing with cornbread croutons. Even the dressing was worth writing home about. My wife ordered the tortilla soup since we went at lunch to go with her salad. It was very tasty and chock full of chicken that was very tender but not overcooked. Highly recommend The meatloaf was excellent but the sun dried tomato reddish brown reduction that was drizzled over it was amazing. I had never tasted anything quite like it. The garlic mashed red potatoes were exquisitely flavored. Every single thing we tried was delicious and unique in some way. It is hard to be able to go through a drive-through for less than 40 bucks anymore. We had an outstanding meal for just over $40. The ambience was just right. The different sections of the restaurant are on different levels to minimize chatter being overheard from other diners. There was light music playing but it did not interfere with pleasant conversation. The lighting was excellent A service was more than attentive. We lacked for nothing. This is my first time at this location, but it will not be my last. We hope to make this more than a birthday/anniversary type place and make it a regular eating out place. It is that good

We were running a little behind our reservation so we called and spoke to June who was polite and accommodating. Hostess was also friendly and complimented my hair. We started off with the calamari and cornbread, both were incredible. I ordered the meatloaf and my boyfriend ordered the cowboy ribeye special. This was my 1st visit to RedRock Canyon Grill (Norman location) & I was impressed! Great ambiance, glass partitions between the tables & booths; not too bright, but not so dark you can't see your plate. Great ambiance. Friendly service. We started with deviled eggs & skillet cornbread, both had great flavor, but were a bit spicy for me. I can't eat anything spicy. I originally ordered the chicken fried chicken & it had great flavor -- then the spicy snuck up on me. The menu doesn't mention it's marinated in a spicy brine, so I swapped it for a cheeseburger. I did manage to get a few bites of the carrots & mashed potatoes before they took my plate back & they were delicious!! We finished with a mountain of cake-like chocolate-frosted brownie ice cream sandwich. OH. MY. GOODNESS!!! This was SO amazing! Very rich, as aside from the brownie, ice cream & frosting, it's drizzled with chocolate & caramel sauces, topped with candied walnuts & a flavored whipped cream. There was no way we could finish it after having eaten dinner, though.

This place is one of those places that everyone goes in Norman. I rate it a step behind Charleston's but that may just be menu preference. I've never had a bad meal here but not found that signature dish that keeps me coming back. I'll go again, hard to avoid, people like it here.

The steak was alright. They have really good dips and other sides. It’s a nice place to go for a good steak. It was my first time and it was alright. The service was decent but they were busy.

Food was incredible. Service wasn’t great. We were put next to a big group and the server forgot about us.

Ambiance is contemporary and romantic, casual attire, and candle light at the table. I mention it because not many restaurants have it. The food is really good and and well presented. The waiter we had knowledgeable and could even answer rhe unique questions I love to throw as curve balls to test them. I would bet that the chickens were bantam. Bantam means small chicken and most mistake them for a breed. Most called bantam arent crossbred, smaller, and if free range their meat is the best. Be ready to pay for the ambiance.

Great service from the bar tender Sam, she was awesome. The rotisserie chicken was pretty dry and Sam offered me something else, and again great service but I just got a side of dipping sauce to help. It was good, and the environment/atmosphere was very modern country feel, cool vibe. I'd go again but would try something else next time like the salmon!

Norman Restaurant - Regular customer with my wife on Sundays and a few times during the week. The ONLY complaint is all the food is way too salty. For example, the side buttered spinach dish could not be eaten due to the salt content. The chef should allow their customer to salt their food.

Been know to drop in on a whim. Super disappointed in the new menu since my last round of visits. Really would like to see a better selection of steaks. However this is a great spot to pony up to the bar and have a meal in peace, watch a game, and enjoy some relaxation. Be sure to follow me for more than 14k Google reviews and contributions!

Nice ambience, good service. The food here is well prepared and fresh, but giving 4 stars instead of 5 due to blandness. *The cornbread is excellent; kudos for serving it with room temperature butter that is easy to spread! *The apple compote on top of the pork chop causes a bit of texture issue; this this should be a chunker, less fatty, side cup that can be eaten alone or used for dipping. It couldn't make up its mind if it was trying to sauteed onions; let it be apples and give us a bit of zing...lemon juice and allspice or something to compliment the chop instead of matching the texture of the fat on the chop. *Sausage and chicken is good, but by serving the barbecue sauce on the sausages you are ruining the ability to enjoy the lovely mustard sauce...yet the chicken had no barbecue sauce. It was moist, but bland. *Coleslaw... I like that it is not fatty with tons of sauce, but it was just slightly seasoned wilted cabbage. I typically love slaw but this dish is a disappointment.

Went for lunch. The calamari was tough. The server replaced it with the shrimp cocktail without hesitation. Manager visited our table to be sure we were satisfied. The rotisserie chopped salad was great. One of my favorite places.

Upscale restaurant. It was my fault for showing up in jeans and a shirt and separately in a hoodie and jeans but don’t judge a book by its cover. I was there to eat. Also Military discount is a plus. I recommend telling them that up front so they aren’t surprised later on and trying to make up for the before-mentioned. Food was great, and took my family this last time and as the younger one the staff also didn’t expect me to be the one paying which is understandable. Atmosphere is also great especially for winter. Would have liked to have been treated better considering the amount I spent and how well everything else was but partially because I was underdressed.

Actually ate here twice while in town dealing with family stuff. Once for lunch & once for dinner. For lunch I got their asian salad & it was delish, too much for me to eat with a starter, but really good flavors. For a starter I had the chips, guac & pimento cheese. All very good. The chips were nice & fresh. For dinner, I was torn between a couple of chicken dishes, so went off server's suggestion and got country fried chicken with red potato mash & the broccoli that was on offer. Hubs got a steak with a reduction, the broccoli & red potato mash. All really good. If I had to complain, my chicken fried steak was pretty salty. But it was fried to perfection, the gravy rich & thick & the red potato mash nice and creamy. I found that surprising because they are a starchy potato and often get gummy when mashed, so props for those! Hubs complaint was an edge of his steak was over-cooked, maybe on a too hot part of the grill, and rather than a nice crust, there was a bitter, burnt edge that wasn't really edible. He finished my country fried chicken and was still happy. They did get a very thick cut cooked to the right degree, but shame about that burnt edge. The reduction was quite nice. The broccoli was perfectly done & just the right firmness. The area is really pretty too. The internet says they are priced at like $30 a plate or something, which is way off. We spent like $200 for the 2 of us and only had 2 beers a piece, so def keep that in mind. I do recommend this place though, it's quite good with some dishes you can't get anywhere else.

Delicious! All four of us had outstanding meals. The crab cake appetizer exceeded my expectations. My tenderloin and enchilada combo was spot on, hot, correctly seasoned, cooked to an exactly medium rare temp, and then devoured. No hesitation recommending them. (Did I mention the desserts were enormous and delicious too?)

1st time, kinda loud. My waitress didn't seem to care when came to table. Asked and or talked to other tables more than mine. I got the gulf shrimp and was told i could trade out sausage for extra shrimp. I got 5 shrimp total. Everyone else in my party seemed to be okay so I guess I'm just ranting. Maybe I should have got a steak. Not sure if I will return

They had three different servers come to our table five minutes after we got seated. After they brought my wine two different new servers tried to bring me the same glass of wine. We ordered wings which took almost 30 minutes to get. By that time a sixth different server had already tried to bring our food out BEFORE the wings. Our friend ordered dessert and it was made wrong. The whole experience was chaotic and disorganized. We will probably never go back.

Christian and Landon were excellent in their service. They were friendly and attentive and wanted to make sure we had the best experience. The atmosphere was great. This is the reason as to why I gave the restaurant three stars. The food was mediocre. It didn't taste all that good. It wasn't seasoned well. My enchiladas tasted like it was old and warmed up. The chicken in the enchilada was dry and hard. The dip was ok. Again the food in my eyes didn't match the ambience of the restaurant. The food looked great tasted blah in my opinion.

The salad my friend got was amazing but the shrimp scampi was horrible. The shrimp was over cooked, the noodles used are too large and it lacked flavor. Too much butter used, it was very greasy. The desserts however were on point. We got the key lime pie and the banana pudding and they were both wonderful. I strongly recommend someone revisit your shrimp scampi recipe and consider something different.

Came with a large party on a weeknight. Staff was very friendly, just lacked on service a bit (forgot my beer order and waited a while for the whole table to receive their meals). I got the rotisserie chicken with sausage. The sausage was very mushy on the inside and the chicken was tiny. Most people got the ribeye and everyone enjoyed their steak. If I ever return, I now know to just get the ribeye.

Man so disappointed. Haven't been to this location before but I liked the other one a lot. Food was gas station level. Steak was seared well but it has absolutely no seasoning on the majority of it. They dumped their peppercorn sauce on the rest which was just nasty vinegary a1 with peppercorn balls. Salad was a sweet nasty dressing and my wife's sausage was just boiled in beer with no flavor to it. Chicken was ok on the outside but no flavor inside. Potatoes were good, but it's just mashed potatoes so it's hard to mess that up. I can cook a better steak for $10 in the parking lot.

I'm so disappointed. I was eating here every Friday for date night up.until a few months ago I had bad service and a very very small steak. I gave it another shot despite the parking lot being empty whereas it used to be full.on a friday night and it got worse and 10% more expensive.i sent back my pork chops twice for being pink inside and didn't get something cooked all the way til.everyone else was done and was still charged full price.makes me sad I won't be coming back cuz I really loved this place

Pretty substandard food for the price point. For example, the chefs couldnt tell me the grade of the Wagyu beef- which is embarrassing tbh. For the food we tried: -cornbread was awful. Very very dry. -Meatloaf was bland. -Shrimp scampi had WAY too much lemon and the pasta was slightly overcooked. I had to drown it in parmesean to eat it. Although the server gave me tons of additional parmesean which I thought was very generous. - chicken was delicious 10/10 but not at all what id expect for that price point. Carrots and mash are incredibly cheap sides. -friends sandwich was incredibly spicy despite not noting any spice in the ingredients. She couldnt eat it. Atmosphere and service were so good. I hope this place can improve. Ill try it again when im in town next year because it is an excellent place for meetings. Edit: to respond to your comment. I dont see why I should have to contact you unless its for a refund. I went ahead and sent it anyways.

I love red rock! It’s a little pricey so I only get to eat it sometimes. I ordered a curbside pick up today. After specifically asking for plasticware and A1 I received neither. My son’s burger was also supposed to be medium well and it was more like a little less done than medium. This isn’t a cheap place, and it’s a Hal Smith restaurant so I definitely expected my order to be correct.

Our server was extremely rude and passive. She took no interest in actually serving us or telling us anything about the menu. The food was not awful but definitely not worth the money. My ceaser salad was extremely spicy which I didn’t expect. The manager came by with our bill and just threw it on the table. When she picked it up she still didn’t say anything. We left very dissatisfied.

Went to a party of 40 people. They gave us three meals to pick from. I got the Med Rare fillet with carrots and mash potatoes. The fillet was so over cooked, cold with a giant scope butter. I can not believe a cook and a server would even think of sending out a plate that bad. The cake was good. Norman Redrock Canyon Grill is a bad place to eat.

I got salmonella from this location and had to go to the ER for treatment. I had the rotisserie chicken. Be very careful when eating here!

Well to start off with the flies were awful, they swarmed the food and our face. The server apologized and said they are having a tough time getting rid of them. Then the food came out with one out of a party of four wasn’t right. I ordered chicken and ribs, everything was ok with the exception of the ribs. They tasted old and were dry and hard. The server apologized and was nice. The manager came out and said “we don’t like the ribs here” and I told her the same thing I told the server however this manager did ask if I wanted something else and I said no. She said I’ll have to check the ribs out then, no apology or anything just walked off and they didn’t even remove it from my bill. Between the flies and the bad food experience I won’t be back. If you like flies landing in your food then this is the place for you.

There are no tables at this restaurant. Anyone who is bigger than 2xl will not be comfortable in their booths. It’s a pity because we have been told the food is excellent.

Do not order the Steak Frites. Ribeye was weirdly gray, had a funky taste and was over cooked on the outer edges and raw (below blue) in the middle (well some of the middle, some of it was that same gray color, not sure how that happens) The water was good though.

I have been to Red Rock a lot over the years,Mostly the one out at Lake Hefner. We ordered takeout at the Norman location. I ordered the chicken dinner for four, at which I asked him to cook it a little longer because I like crispy skin. This was a whole bird rotisseried and cut up, which brings me to my point of why the cooks Could not see or did not see that this bird was bleeding! UGH, I was so sick to my stomach! As soon as my daughter Bit into the leg she had on her plate it gushed blood. I got up took pictures of it and called to speak with a manager. There I was greeted by Ricky he informed me that there was no manager on duty. Ricky said Paul the manager would contact me back this was on Friday evening around five today is Sunday morning still waiting, and no call back. So people beware of bloody uncooked chicken at the Norman location.I will upload pics for all that this does concern.
