What a cute place. Great service, and the food tastes homemade. St. Peter's fish was so good. Would love to come back and try more dishes.
Just had one of the best Italian dinners in a long time! Every bite was amazing! I ordered a salmon special—sockeye that was pan-seared with this creamy sun-dried tomato sauce, plus two mushroom raviolis in cream sauce and a side of sautéed spinach. I also got the Caesar salad and wrapped it all up with tiramisu. It was pure heaven!
I was out of town for work and craving pasta so we ended up here. Upon walking in, it was split between a pub and the restaurant. The restaurant was a little confined, but it was intimate and had a great atmosphere. To start out, the bread was so soft and delicious! For the entree, I ended up getting the chicken parmesan. Now I am super picky about my pasta sauce, I like mine with a bit of sweetness… and this definitely hit the mark! It also includes your choice of soup or salad. Additionally, we got the lemon crème cake for dessert… it was absolutely delicious! The prices are great compared to most. All the staff were incredibly nice and we definitely felt welcomed! I highly recommend!
Absolutely excellent!! When we walked in we thought it was a bar which half of the building is, but the other half is very intimate and quiet. We went on NYE and everything was wonderful. I had the shrimp scampi and my hubby had the special which was filet of beef green beans and two lobster ravioli in a pesto cream sauce. It was excellent. We ordered dessert to go, my tiramisu was wonderful, and my hubby really enjoyed his Italian cream cake with raspberry sauce. Our server was great and the hostess gave us each one dollar for good luck in the new year, a tradition that the late owner started. Overall A+, I'm looking forward to going again.
Very laid back comfortable environment with pleasant and competent wait staff. Service was fast and food was excellent! We went on a week night and there was no waiting but I suspect there could be wait times at busier times because the restaurant is smaller. Overall, a very pleasant experience!
I went here for my Birthday and I loved it sooooo much... I had their chicken cabonara and it was EVERYTHING... Make sure yall ask for JUSTIN he is A awesome person and a damn good server THE WHOLE PLACE IS A 10 OUT OF 10 FOR SURE💯💯💯
Went out on a date night with my husband on Thursday to have the famous inducer. I am proud to say I went into labor within less than 48 hours of eating the dish and just welcomed the newest garlic baby into the world this weekend! Can’t wait to take her back for more pasta!
Loved this quaint little restaurant. My husband and I went here for our Anniversary dinner. It is a small place, so make sure to have a reservation (you have to call the restaurant) or attend an early (5-6pm) or late dinner (7:30-8) if you want to walk in. We both ordered pasta dishes for our meals. My husband ordered the meat Ravioli with Cathy’s Sugo aka homemade slightly sweet marinara sauce. He loved it and ate every bite. I ordered the Chicken Carbonara and it was delicious. The portion size was enough for me to take some home for lunch the next day. Each pasta dish comes with your choice of soup of the day, house salad, or Caesar salad. We ordered the Tiramisu and chocolate mousse for dessert. We both loved the tiramisu. The chocolate mousse seemed more like a chocolate crème brulee so just be aware. Service was excellent and highly attentive. Atmosphere was cozy and romantic. I would recommend this place to friends and family for any occasion. Customers were dressed anywhere from super casual to date night attire.
I took a dear friend of mine out to celebrate me passing an exam he helped me study for and it was a lovely experience! Staff was welcoming, super professional, and the food was delicious. I ordered the chicken Alfredo and it was sumptuous! Creamy, chicken cooked to perfection and the seasoning was on point. We ordered the calamari to start and it tasted fresh and was not greasy AT ALL (which is rare)! Bread was stellar as well! I would have liked if we got asked for more water refills but overall I would definitely come again. 9/10
Kathy's restaurant is an exquisite dining experience. The bread is homemade and you can tell. The garlic olive oil is not too strong; and is a nice complement to the bread. The calamari is some of the best I've ever eaten. Lightly breaded and just a good flavor and texture. The marinara is an excellent sauce to ma5ch with this very good appetizer. The ceasar and house salads are very good. I had the seafood stew. It is full of fish, shrimp, mussels etc. The broth was comforting and exciting together. It is a great choice. The Chicken Carbonara was delicious, too. Creamy sauce on penne pasta and full of lightly breaded chicken. Several choices for desert, but my favorite is the Tiramasu. It is nearly 6 inches tall. Get the coffee ☕️ to go with this. Divinely inspired.
Our server Tom was great so good in fact we went back again , the food was tasty flavorful and fresh ! Update review. I am a regular now, I hate artichokes but they make a beautiful artichoke soup ! I loved it actually I love all their fresh made soup. Tom is still great as are all the staff . Steak also great, at this stage we are working through the menu!
Why was this place absolutely delicious? I love that this was a small restaurant, it feels so intimate especially if you were wanting to take your partner on a dinner date. I do recommend having a reservation because upon walking in, the place was completely filled even on a weekday, so if you want to have a superior Italian food experience make sure to reserve your spot. I had the shrimp spiedini (the picture with orange sauce) and my goodness it was rich, flavorful, and something that is different than your typical spaghetti or fettuccine alfredo. The pre-entre rolls were superb as well with such a lovely dipping sauce. I was craving Italian and I'm happy my friend suggested this place to me.
Took my wife here for our wedding anniversary and was pleasantly surprised. The inside has very limited seating, so I would recommend trying to get a reservation. The food was quite fantastic. I don't know know what kind of bread it is that they give you, but it is by far the best we have ever had. We had to stop eating it for fear of getting too full before our main course arrived. Also, the staff were over the top friendly. Would highly recommend this place for a romantic night out.
I travel often and try to eat local as much as I can. Do yourself a favor and eat here! You walk in to an intimate dining area, and are immediately greeted by the family members that own the spot. I got my food to go, and it was a fast turn around. Everything was delicious. From the included bread, to the creamy potato soup and savory entree. I stuck to the classics, spaghetti with meatballs - large portions, and absolutely amazing flavor. If you've ever had authentic Italian home cooking, you'll appreciate this place. I'll be back anytime I'm in town! Highly recommend, both in taste and service.
Definitely one of the good Italian restaurants around the city. Although a little disappointed that they don’t serve pizzas, they have ample of pastas to choose from. We tried their spinach artichoke soup with salad, Diablo sauce pasta. The soup and salad were amazing and pasta was pretty bland. We also tried crème brule and tiramisu which were really good. They also have an Irish pub attached to the restaurant and they have so many varieties of wines.
This is a really small, quaint restaurant that is very welcoming. Think small space, small menu, big welcome. The moment you walk in the door, you are greeted like family and they joke about pulling up a chair for you. It really is small, so if you go during peak hours, consider making reservations, and good luck finding parking. (There is a little overflow parking at the shops next door.) The chicken carbonara was a bit bland/not full of flavor, but it would appeal to most. We came at a peak time, without reservations, and there was a race being held in town that weekend, so they were totally packed. We still managed to be seated immediately, but the service was very slow. The waiter was scattered and seemed rattled. He forgot several items, and dropped a couple things. Otherwise, it was a pleasant atmosphere.
I went back to Vito’s after a couple of years of not visiting. The staff was friendly, but overall our food experience wasn’t the best this time. The bread was served cold — like freezer cold — and the pasta lacked flavor (even the Inducer’s sauce didn’t seem to have much garlic). The grilled chicken breast was also very plain and tasted like it didn’t have any seasoning. I will say the tomato basil soup was delicious and definitely the highlight of the meal. It was also a little disappointing that Parmesan cheese wasn’t offered to us. I even mentioned it to my husband wondering if they stopped doing that, but the same waiter offered it to two nearby tables. Maybe it wasn’t their night.
Food is absolutely delicious, no doubt! Service was slow and over bubbly. Had to ask for a to go box 3 times. There was a line to run credit cards? Tickets are handwritten, so if they’re not good at math watch out! Auto gratuity for 2 people? We will give it another shot, but on the Irish side.
I decided to try this restaurant since my family was in the mood for Italian Food. When we entered the restaurant we enthusiastically greeted and felt at home. The meal started with a bread service, the bread had good flavor, but the bread was cold. We ordered a calamari appetizer, which had good flavor but needed salt and a large portion of the calamari was just fried breading. The entrées we ordered were tortellini, spaghetti and meatballs and chicken marsala. The tortellini was very good, but the other entrées were satisfactory. The restaurant was a little understaffed, I could tell our waitress was a bit overwhelmed and frustrated. Some of the dishes had good flavor, but I don’t plan to try this restaurant again.
Justin was polite but distracted. Our appetizer never made it to the table so they did take it off the bill at the end but this wasn't noticed until the entrees were served. The drinks we ordered were not available which he didn't realize until after our first course was finished. The food we did eventually get was pretty good,a bit over priced at $25 a dish and Nothing special but decent. enough.
