After setting at the brunch house for over a hour and not getting any food we came over here with in 15 minutes we had are drinks and food my wife had fajitas that was really good .I had chili Colorado that was very good

My coworkers and I went here for dinner. There were 12 of us. We called ahead and they accommodated us wonderfully. They had enough staff to keep food and drinks coming and all staff was very pleasant. The food was delicious, so were the drinks, but I found them slightly pricey.

This place doesn't look like much from the outside, but after seeing the good reviews my husband and I decided to try it out. I don't eat meat at every meal and found myself ordering the combo vegitariano even though vegetarianstuff isbalways a gamble- guys, put spinach in enchiladas. That was so good. It really works, I am stuffed, and we will be back.

Amazing foods we both ordered the fajitas salad and amazing Margaritas.. we were traveling with ourittle service dog so they let us eat in the bar at a small table ...it was perfect for us !! Great food great service!!

Food here is very good and portions are huge. We came in on a Friday night with a party of 16 so we knew we may not be seated together, which was totally fine. Staff said if we called earlier, they could of sat us all together, but it was ok either way. Everyone agreed the food was excellent here, good flavors and not overly salty. The staff was also very friendly and funny, our server was helpful in our indecisive drink decisions too.

The food is incredible, the service is superb, and the atmosphere is absolutely amazing! If for anything else, come here to see the inside! What a gorgeous restaurant! Don't forget to look up!

I got the chicken tostada and chicken enchilada with special request rancho beans in place of refried beans and last but not least their great Spanish rice. This place is amazing. My wife and I went here for our anniversary which just so happens to be a small day for Mexican restaurants called Cinco day Mayo. Despite going on the busiest day, we were sat within 5 mins of our reservation. We had multiple servers but joaquin really got us dialed in. The atmosphere was excellent with a live band and beautiful decorations. We will be back 12/10 no notes.

Great Mexican restaurant, good ambience, excellent and attentive service and the the food was excellent. We really enjoyed the refried beans - the Guadalajara Nachos, the steak fajitas, the carne asada burrito and the enchilada/taco combo we could recommend. Clean plates and full bellies.

From start to finish, the service was exceptional—our waiter was knowledgeable and friendly, making excellent recommendations. We had the carnitas tacos, which were perfectly seasoned and tender, and the guacamole made fresh at the table was the best I’ve ever had. The ambiance was lively yet cozy, with rustic Mexican décor and colorful artwork on the walls. The upbeat music added to the festive vibe. It felt like a mini vacation in Mexico! Definitely returning for another incredible meal.

We came here after waiting 15 minutes at taco shop drive thru, and getting no response from order taker. They had our drinks available in less than 5 mins after sitting down. And we had our food and ate all our food within 20 mins from entering the restaurant! Super quick and excellent food and service! Guadalajara is a family owned, family ran restaurant. There service is second to none, there food is out of this world. Where the gift of love keeps giving and the drinks keep coming. The atmosphere, the decor, and the smiles along with the best food you will ever have is the reason why I keep coming back. Is there other Mexican restaurants in town? Yes of course there is and I’m sure they are great respectively, but you will not have the same experience that you will have if you go to Guadalajara. It is not just about the restaurant it is about the experience in the service. P. S. If you want to order something that is life-changing and that it’s not on the menu? Order the Armando tacos. This was such a nice little find after a long drive. It's the funky Mexican decor I like, with really great food and charming alacritous service. It's not Southern California prices, either. They have lots of Mexican beer choices and the very best salsa. In a town with many choices, we did well.

We stopped by here on our way up north from Sacramento, and we were very glad we did so. I ordered the carnitas platter with flour tortillas on the side, and it was A LOT of food. Very impressed with the ambiance and overall service we received, a very family friendly restaurant!

Update went there today 3-1-26 for our anniversary and it was still just as great today as it always is/was. Benjamin was an excellent server. We went today (Sunday) about 4:30 and had no wait time to be seated and we had our food very quickly. We had Fajitas 3 ways split for 2 and we took some dessert and a few entrees to-go for our grown kids at home. We love Guadalajara's Restaurant. We got there for lunch on a Sunday the parking lot was full ( only 2 spots open ) we had about a 5 minute wait to be seated. The waiter was ready to take our order in the next 5 minutes and we ate our food and then we were Ready for our Monthly Redding Shopping Advebture Day. We spent a total of about 45 minutes there from arrival to departure. However, the food is so good there was a family (6 kids 4 adults) waiting to be seated for about 30 minutes while we were there. Again they are very busy at this time so if your in a hurry consider coming a bit later or earlier than 1130 which is when we arrived. We spent TOTAL $31.00 (inc 6.00 tip) we had plenty of leftovers and as always we love this place.

Guy Fieri needs to check out Guadalajara Restaurant in Redding, CA. I just had one of the best and tastiest Mexican meals in a very, very long time. No complaints. Everything from the House Special of Chicken Enchiladas to Fresh Guacamole and Salsa to the Awesome drinks was just super delicious. Our food came fast and piping hot. I would drive 2 hours again just to eat lunch or dinner here. Hey Guy Fieri, this place should definitely be your next stop on Triple D. You won't be disappointed.

We love it here. Came for mom's birthday and they made it a blast. Turned on the night lights for a gorgeous ambiance. Sang Happy Birthday and brought Ice cream. Everyone had a good time. Service was fast and very attentive. Food was delicious and cooked well and the portions were huge. We had a small mishap and notified the waiter. Management took care of it right away. Great food awesome people. 👍👍

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Redding—by far! My wife and I go here probably 3 or 4 times a month. My favorite dish is the chile verde enchiladas (see pic). Also love the expresso burrito (see pic) and chile rellenos. Plus the salsa and guacamole are delicious. I gotta tell you their service is second to none. They do everything to make sure their customers are taken care of. An easy 5 STAR rating!!!

Full House tonight place was packed on Friday night! Carne Asada plate was so tasty and delicious! Service was prompt and timely.

We had Guadalajara cater my husband’s memorial reception. They were very prompt in delivering and setting up the taco bar. The food was excellent, plentiful and enjoyed by everyone. I highly recommend them for your catering needs.

We stopped here on our way up to Oregon. It is the most reviewed Mexican restaurant in Redding (and I assume the best). Great vibe and really good food. As usual I ordered chili relleno and was not disappointed. Also had the Chile verde chalupa, very good, but a little light on the sauce (but I suppose that’s deliberate to minimize dripping.) wife had a tamale with no complaints. Margarita was stiff (no skimping on the tequila). We plan to visit again.

Good food, good ambience, good security, all stars! Jalapeño poppers were cheesy and crispy. Chicken avocado salad was served with light crispy shell. Chicken quantity could be more but taste was good. Burrito was also delicious. Interior is colorful, decorated in mexican style. Jalapeño margarita was tasty too. Cheque came with complementary cinnamon chips and whipped cream.

Authentic Mexican cuisine! We stopped by this restaurant for dinner on our way to Dunsmuir and were totally blown away by the cuisine, vibe of the place, decor and most importantly the kind staff. They have a dedicated vegetarian menu for vegetarians. To start with, the salsa was too good in taste and unique as well. We ordered enchiladas de espinacas and combo vegetariano. First, the portions (per dish) are humongous and more than enough for two people to share. Next, the food quality was beyond delicious, the enchiladas had the stuffing of spinach and other veggies inside, everything served on the plate was unbelievably tasty 😋. The staff continued to check on us if we needed something. They close at 8 and we came in around 7:30, they didn’t rush on us at all and greeted us well. I definitely recommend this place who wants to try authentic Mexican food. Last, we were given a small complimentary desert.

Amazing food and great service! My husband had the arroz con pollo, and I had the nopales con carnitas, both come with beans/rice/tortillas and were so tasty. For dessert we ordered tres leches, and theirs is perfectly moist, light, and delicious! This whole meal cost about $60, which is very reasonable because the plates were huge. The beautiful interior decor is colorful and fun, with the ceiling made to look like a twinkly night sky. If we ever come through the area again we are definitely going to stop here for a meal.

Authentic Mexican restaurant in Redding. Pretty good size of dining area. The food options are plentiful and there’s something for everyone. The decor is pretty nice as well! Service was very good and quick. Parking is tight but I guess enough for the restaurant visitors. The Tostada was amazing and probably among the best anywhere!

This place is .. I'm my opinion the best Mexican restaurant in town ... I've only been here a couple years..but it's a really nice environment & atmosphere.. service is great.. I brought my daughter here .. she was visiting from out of town & she absolutely loved it ,we hadn't seen each other in a few years.. this was a "perfect" place to take her for our first dinner together.. I recommend this restaurant to all.. Alittle pricey.. but , worth it .. 💯👍🏼

Ordered the trio fajitas for two with rice and beans. They were amazing, perfectly cooked and seasoned. We shared it and it was more than enough for 2 adults. The kids menu had multiple options, we ordered the chicken strips. Benjamin and German recommended house margaritas, they provided top notch service, making us enjoy our evening out. If I could, I'd give this place a 10-star rating because my family cooks amazing, authentic Mexican food, and it's rare to find a restaurant that matches up. The food here is fantastic. I asked for a couple of avocado slices, and they brought me a whole avocado, which I love as a side. The margarita is strong and delicious, especially on the rocks. My chicken taco was savory and juicy. The ambiance is perfect for a romantic date or a family outing, or even just hanging out alone. It's a great spot for my husband and me to enjoy some time together before heading home.

Great customer service. As soon as we sat down we received waters, chip and salsa! Without even asking our waiter brought us another dish of salsa. Our food arrived piping hot!!! Our meals were excellent tasting. When finished we received two freshly cooked tortilla chips covered in cinnamon sugar, dollop of whipped cream and strawberry jam. We decided this was to be our stop after spending the day hiking the falls at Whiskeytown Lake. Guadalajara did not disappoint, there was a short wait but worth it. The atmosphere was fun, the service staff friendly and the portions were big. Our group also ordered drinks from the bar and they were well made.

Good Mexican food, excellent service and atmosphere. We were seated quickly, food arrived warm and it was delicious.

Great atmosphere, the colors were so beautiful in the building, a charmin "Jardin" look. Reminded me of some homes in Mexico. The food was enjoyable, could use some upgrades but overall a great experience, my drink was especially delicious and the owner attended us attentively.

Quite a good place for mexican cuisines, there people are quick and efficient and friendly for sure. They have amazing variety and place is quite accessible in Redding.

Top notch service in this era of staff shortages. We were seated promptly and brought chips and salsa right away. Drink orders were filled and orders taken without a wait. The food came out hot in a timely manner. Our water glasses were never more than half empty either. This all took place around 5:30-6:00pm with the restaurant almost full capacity.

Super friendly staff! I was getting my tires changed somewhat close by and decided to venture out and stumbled accross this place. I was pleased with the food and the service rendered here. I would 10/10 bring friends and family anytime

For as busy as I was, I was expecting it to be better. It wasn't bad but it didn't knock anyone socks off either.

Food was disappointing. Chips had no salt at all, salsa was lacking in something but not sure what, and my salad was pretty bland. I did see and smell some other dishes that might have been better, but with all the good reviews I read about this place I was let down. Service could have been better, but I did enjoy our server's sense of humor. I probably will not return based on this experience, especially with so many other options in town.

I liked the decor, service was nice, menu was good. Prices were a little higher than 'average', at least in my mind. I received a big plate of food. We came at the end of the night which might explain why the food was alright but just didn't seem fresh. If I come through Redding again earlier I'd probably try it again. The place seems popular enough.

I placed a delivery order, so this is essentially my fault! The food is quite pretty when it is delivered however it is cold and soggy and the chicken on the tostada is sooooooo dry I removed it and fed to the dogs. The good: service was super prompt. From being greeted to brought to a table, to ordering and food being brought, everything was lightning fast. Carlos was very attentive and made sure everything was done efficiently. A very colorful restaurant with great decor! The enchiladas with green sauce were pretty tasty, as were the beans they came with. Portions were quite big! And the plate of food looked very appetizing. The restaurant was clean. The bad: Food was definitely heated in a microwave. Scalding hot. It took a good 15 minutes just to cool off to be edible. The often overused “be careful, the plate is hot” is no joke here. The rice was super bland. Would be unfair to be called Mexican rice. And, as the restaurant was fairly empty when I was in, the server was vacuuming the dining room. Which was very loud and disturbing, especially since it went on for a while and even swept under the booth I was sitting at eating. Odd. Prices were also really high compared to most Mexican places. I live in Southern California and would never pay 22 dollars for 2 enchiladas. This place may be worth a visit. It definitely isn’t bad. But it’s a far cry from Redding’s best.

Decent Mexican food. I had the Chimichanga del Mar which was okay. The salsa they bring with the chips before you order was good. Hard working servers at a fast casual local hangout with colorful decor.

Runny salsa. Good flavor and spice but not great for chips and dipping The chips are just standard. Nothing special. Good queso but small portions. Guac is just ok. Overall decent food but small portions at astronomical prices. Don't need to come back. Not great service either. If we came back we'd both just get tacos.

Nice place rotten rude waiter with an attitude margarita ok food fair very small couldn't tell between Tasco & burrito had to use salsa from chips as it was dry friend had enchilada plate which was larger but for $67 dollars felt it was way overpriced eat somewhere else . For that money at least should be filling i mean $21 for a taco truck burrito that was a taco give me a break. Plus the attitude. Dont stay in business like that really would like an apology in a better world but those days are maybe gone.

September 25th went there for my birthday with friends at 4:00 in the afternoon... Was my favorite Mexican food restaurant in the area. Took an Uber so I could drink margaritas. I think you forgot to put the alcohol in my margaritas, my shredded beef in both my burrito and taco was dry, and my chips never got refilled. I don't know if the ownership has been changed or it was just left over lunch before dinner food but I was very disappointed and It is no longer my favorite

I was disappointed with the menu, fish tacos topped with lettuce so i did not order, Cabbage better topping in my opinion. My tacos were supposed to come with cotija cheese that was left off. Rice was tasteless beans were delicious My son had crunchy tacos but they didn't make tortilla crunchy thru used those cheap tacos shells that tacobell serves. My fiancé had chicken taco salad that was extremely bland with my beans in it? I wouldn't recommend, idk what happened but I hadn't ate there in 10 years and it definitely went downhill

Thought I'd give this place a try, it was busy. The decor looked nice (2 stars for that). However the food was not good. I ordered Mole Enchiladas, the sauce was not flavorful, it was red and watery. Im use to a rich thick sauce with hints of chocolate and spices, darker in color. The beans and rice didn't have much flavor either. Also the waiter was not attentive enough. Coming from the Bay Area, I have yet to find a place that's comparable to restaurants I've been to there.

felt like they were taking advantage of my mentally challenged 40 year old son by over charging him ON his 40th birthday! ordered 5 enchiladas and 2 margaritas only to find out, half way home there was ONLY 2 enchiladas! went back to fix it and they charged more. also for a don Julio shot they wanted $36.00 a shot! is that normal??

I had a pick up order for Carne Asada. I asked for medium rare, it was well done. It had zero flavor. Had trouble cutting through it so I had to pull it apart with my fingers. Didn't come with any napkins or utensils like i asked for, not even a napkin. Every meal should come with a small bag of chips and salsa.. but nope. $10 for that. Next time I'll find another place to go.

Ok enough food. Mole was tangy not sweet. Server did not check in when dropping off food. Had been long enough or drinks were empty. Just dropped food off and left. Attempted to order 2 more margaritas and he only bothered to stick around for ordering one by quickly asking as he was running away for one, did not ask the rest of our party. Service not the greatest. Bus boy had better service than the main server. Atmosphere like a cafeteria.

Food was not bad. The reason I'm leaving a bad review is the small portion size. I don't mind paying 25.00 to eat, but not for baby burritos. Not joking. The 25.00 chicken burrito was the size of a Taco Bell burrito or a Roku remote. Now if I paid 10.00 for a burrito the size of a Taco Bell burrito or a roku remote. I would not have been as upset and felt like I got ripped off. This place needs to match their portion sizes with their prices. You can't charge a lot of money, and then serve Taco Bell size burritos. You will get bad reviews.
