This is my neighborhood coffee shop but I'd choose Kaleidoscope even if they were across town. Drinks are great, love the spiced chai! Prices are great and their food is too.

My new favorite, a friend of mine talked me into grabbing a special drink that she likes from kaleidoscope, I love the type of ice they use for their iced coffee and the drink they made was perfect! If you haven't tried kaleidoscope I suggest it's a must try.

Seeing this awesome shop in The Date today triggered a memory. Our whole extended family was evacuated during the Carr fire and staying with the one family member who lived on Park Marina. Kaladascope was open for business with Mr Mires running it solo. Was just what we all needed, some kind of normal activity during a stressful time. Thank you for that, and thank you Mr. Mires for recognizing a need.

I've been a returning customer for a while now, typically going to the location that was in the Redding mall, but since it was closed I ended up going to the location in Athens for my first time... And it was a wonderful experience! The girl that took our order was so bright and bubbly and she and the other gentleman at the window made my boyfriend feel so special on his birthday, I love the service there. It doesn't end there though, they have the best frappes/blended coffee drinks in town! The oreo one and the dreamsicle are long time favorites and a treat no matter what location I've gone to. All of them blended perfectly, so smooth to drink and wonderfully sweet. Thank you for being so cool, Kaleidescape!

They have an amazing tea selection (Republic of Tea), and they love puppies, and welcome them on their patio. The staff is so kind and happy, they really go the extra mile for you! Plus they have a fabulous collection of crystals. 🤓 I love this place!!!

I only used the parking lot but my cousin actually got a coffee, he seemed to like it just fine. The parking lot was pretty good as well. Was curious about the bike place across the street didn't go though. I would visit again in the future and might actually go in then.

I have always loved going to kaleidescope! It was always my stop before or after going to Orchard to buy groceries. I can't comment on their food but their coffee is excellent and the service is great. Baristas are always so chatty and friendly. On Mondays they offer an extra shot for free :) plus, they will refill your own mugs.

I was just in ordered a pumpkin iced latte I asked for one pump since I wasn't sure how sweet it would be then decided on two they were so sweet and accommodating they didn't even question it! I come from an area that is serious about coffee. So, when I heard that the coffee at Kaleidoscope (in Redding, CA) had an excellent cup of coffee that wouldn't leave me feeling like I just drank a hot cup of ground charcoals with the acidity to set my heartburn on fire, I said to myself that I should try it. About two weeks later, I stopped by, bought a cup, and after drinking it as my morning cup of coffee, discerned that this probably was the best cup of coffee I've had in a very long time. Way to go, Kaleidoscope.

This is overall an amazing place; the service is great. People are sweet as could be. The food is amazing. And the coffee is the best here in town in my opinion! I would definitely recommend if u haven’t tried yet or if you are knew to redding

I really like their wraps here! They are delicious! I have had their coffee and it's a decent cup of joe, although it's not my favorite. But everyone's palate is different. Customer service is always amazing!

Kaleidoscope Coffee in Redding has the best coffee in town and far surpasses Starbucks whose coffee is always too strong and has an unpleasant taste, and coffee anywhere else is never as good, and the menu selections at Kaleidoscope are awesome. I wish they were still at the mall which desperately needs coffee service.

Stopped on way back to Sacramento and really enjoyed the espresso. The menu looked quite enjoyable, as well as healthy and balanced. Not local so I didn't have the chance to try too much, but I could tell this is a fantastic place for the area. Staff was friendly and efficient

Delicious drinks, chill and laid-back atmosphere, cool and friendly staff, and convenient drive through. My preference over dutch bros or Starbucks any day! Also the resin pour tables are a beautiful touch and I love that they feature some local arts and crafts on the walls/counter.

Lots of different coffees, teas, and smoothies. Great breakfast choices. We split a "Denver griller" which was a wrap with eggs, cheese, onions, ham, and tomatoes. It was delicious and large. Splitting it was perfect. We've just barely scratched the surface at this place and expect to expand our selections. Definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes good coffee and good food.

Delicious breakfast grillers and coffee (!!) but as the prices aren’t posted on their menu or website we were taken aback to ring up at more than $40 on 2 to-go bfast sandwiches and 2 coffee at a drive thru coffee spot while passing through town. $16.50 per bfast griller took a minute to process after we were rung up. That said, quality and quantity considered, would come again. Super tasty beautifully prepared food, immaculate coffee, friendly servers, cozy air conditioned seating area to wait. Hopefully they pay their employees well!

The atmosphere and feel of this place is really authentic and true to how a cafe/diner should be. Reminds me a lot of San Francisco cafes where you can actually sit down, enjoy your coffee, and not feel rushed out the door. The staff and very friendly and kind, which is always a plus. And their coffee, teas, and specialty drinks are all delicious.

I stop by here anytime my errands take me to that side of town. The coffee is tasty and the food is really good. They offer organic coffee which seems to be better for my gut. They are law enforcement officer friendly, which is really important to me. The staff is very friendly.

Coffee was delicious, the coffee was so delicious that my bf couldn't stop drinking my coffee after he got an infused red bull. Both drinks 10/10, if you really want a good frappucino get the Oreo blended one, DELICOUS!! Can't go wrong with a cookie coffee, I have never ordered anything else. And don't get me started on the whip, I would honestly order a whole cup of just the whipped cream for myself! I am so serious, and I would pay for just a bag if their whipped cream lol. Recommend 100%!

I love these people. This place is very friendly and not expensive. The one start strike is only due to no wifi but everything else is amazing here and if you're not going here to work, you don't need the wifi.

Quick stop on our way through town. The barista was nice and courtesy. We got a couple of frappes and they were good. I also saw they have food like tacos and sandwiches.

The employee's were friendly and helpful. We went here for drinks so i can't speak for the food. However, the mango smoothie is delicious. They also have a nice selection of green teas.

I can deal with wrong orders, a missing straw, a little slow service, but what I won't tolerate is rudeness. I encountered a drive through employee staring at me very rudely as I told her I was struggling to turn the volume down on my holstered cell phone. I just got off work, I was listening to a podcast, and trying to relax before going to my mother in laws house and dealing with someone else. I thought a coffee would help me. First time there, and you ruined my experience from the get go with your attitude! What a weird way to respond to someone! What helped was when another employee handed me my breakfast wrap, and cheerfully smiled and told me "thank you and have a good day". It definitely helped. Also I shared my wrap with my mother in law, and we both were full from the one wrap. It was delicious! Thank you!

I thought the place would be more lively and conscious but I was not impressed with the quality of the chai that I ordered and the staff were not passionate about working there. Nothing against it just how it is. The chai was not super flavorful with store bought almond milk. They were also serving store bought Costco muffins and commercial product. Would love to see more local and higher conscious food and drink.

The food was amazing. I felt like the staff just kinda brushed me off. I came in and said I was picking up and the lady just kinda grabbed my food and just tossed it towards me. It wasn't to busy I just got the feeling the staff wanted to talk with eachother more than guest service.

Ordered the Chicken bacon ranch wrap. First they gave me the wrong order. The tortilla was hard and barely had any ranch. I had to open the wrap to see if they had put ranch on it. The tea was good for a plain black tea. Just not worth the $20 I paid.

The cappuccino was a bit weak, considering I ordered a second shot. I liked the vibe of the place: definitely my kind of vibe. But I give it only 2 stars because NONE of the people working there were wearing masks!

I love this coffee shop I’ve been going to kaleidoscope for 12 years now and I will say the service and the coffee is amazing in the afternoon and evening but the the girls working in the morning made me 3 drinks that tasted like nothing this morning so I went back and asked them if they could remake them and they were super rude and kept repeating that they made it right and were incredibly condescending about it. I got the new ones and they tasted like nothing again but at that point I didn’t even want to say anything to either of the people working. To say that I am disappointed is an understatement and I don’t want to go back to the coffee shop which is sad because I’ve been going there for so long.......

Customer service is always great! Staff is always very friendly and helpful, location is super convenient on the way to work. However the coffee quality is consistently below average. The espresso shots and house coffee taste bad as well as the syrups. When I get a latte or mocha it's almost always luke warm and overly sweet. A couple times I've thrown away the coffee after a few sips. I have this experience often at Lake Blvd and the Andersen locations. Unfortunately I've had better experiences with gas station and McDonald's coffee.there is so much potential for improvement though!

I ordered my usual coffee with 6 sugarfree vanilla pumps and half and half. The coffee was incredibly bitter and not sweet at all. My husband who is a coffee connoisseur and loves strong coffee called it butter and burnt. I will never waste my money here again.

The girl working the counter completely messed was unreal. I'm my drink even though I had her repeat it back to me. Then she forgot that we ordered food. So we were there for 45 minutes. I like the store but she was unreal. Walked by me without eye contact as I wsydtanding at the counter trying to get my drink iced with vanilla...and hoping to get our food, now to go, so we could get on the road. She forgot we ordered food. The sweet guy working with her, doing all the work whipped it up right fast. Nice place. But they should find better help.

I just wasted $17 on a sandwich that I asked for. No chorizo and add a bacon. Got all the way across town to work and of course it has all chorizo and no bacon.

Cashier was so rude to me and my friend while checking out. He asked if we were gonna check out together we had 3 things and we told him it was together, a coffee, muffin and a bag of chips. I pay for my order and we are looking around the shop and then my friend opens her chips thinking they are paid for and he’s actively with another customer says “ ma’am you didn’t pay for the chips” $1.50 and it’s trying to cause issues about it. Arrived in town a little early and parked in a parking space behind the shop to wait for it to open. I was approached and asked what my purpose was and I informed them that I was just waiting for the coffee shop to open (in less than an hour). They told me it would be “a few hours” and that I had to “leave the property”. I need a place to work for the day and was reviewing the menu to pick out all the tasty things to enjoy, but now I’m off to find a shop where I’m not shooed away for being early. Edit after management’s response: that’s terrifying to hear that your shop has had those troubles. Thanks for the reply and I hope everyone has a good and safe day.

This place is a abolute joke... the only organic thing they have is the coffee beans NOTHING ELSE IS ORGANIC. NOT EVEN THE MILK sad to see people get away with this. Guess what if the milk is not organic neight is the coffee in a latte

Not very professional. Did not start my second order of food until the first was handed to me or so I thought. I had to ask after 45 minutes of waiting and they did not even know we had another order. Sat inside for about 30+ minutes before I got any food at all and it was not very busy. They were all mingling instead of cooking. Also ordered no ham on my wrap and still got ham on it. However we did get a free drink card after finally getting our second order.

I went here, and asked what is in there hot grillers, I was told that the only veggie that was in there Denver grilled was red peppers. Got all the way home after spending 49.06$ on two drinks and two hot grillers. To find out that my food has onions and tomatoes. Im deathly allergic to tomato’s and the fact that this was left out is very disturbing. Teach your employees the menus and what is in the food for people that have bad allergies.

I went here, and asked what is in there hot grillers, I was told that the only veggie that was in there Denver grilled was red peppers. Got all the way home after spending 49.06$ on two drinks and two hot grillers. To find out that my food has onions and tomatoes. Im deathly allergic to tomato’s and the fact that this was left out is very disturbing. Teach your employees the menus and what is in the food for people that have bad allergies.

There was an way over long wait because the person/employees couldn’t figure out the register and when the customer’s card in front of me wasn’t working, they went to pay cash for the $45 meal for the family of four. She was a quarter short, instead offering a quarter or solution the employee was just inconvenienced to be dealing with the mom. The mom had already put several dollars in the tip jar so she said I am really sorry but I am going to have to take back a dollar to cover the quarter needed. The flamboyant male employee just stared at her, I chimed in it’s no problem, I can pay for it with my card. Register not taking my card either and that’s all I had because we were on a walk. The mom had to take the tip dollar out, quarter was taken out of the tip dollar and .75 put back, in reality the poor service deserved 0 tip, the employee attitude was over the top. With register problems and long wait and a $45 order a quarter should have been offered as a solution without having to take back a tip dollar but the employee was so arrogant while being ignorant. Yuck. That was a couple months back, however, we drive by daily and go oh I will just stop for a … and then that memory comes back and it’s a no and we keep driving.

Came thru this morning at 10am sat at the window for 15 mins when the guy came over to ask me if i had food coming i said we haven’t ordered. With now 4 cars behind me. I told him i even tried calling he said well we are busy in here so don't know what to tell u. A sorry about the wait could Of made things different! Or a simple u see me would of been nice.. I come here at least 3 times a week. Ask the girls! This customer service today is absolutely ridiculous! I hope the owners see this. Even on a bad day don't take it out on customers. Do better sir or dont work with customers.

My wife likes to go for long walks. On her long walk yesterday she stopped and ordered a simple iced energy drink, paid, and sat down to wait. While she waited, two other people came in, ordered, paid, waited, got their drinks, and left. My wife asked how long her drink would be and was treated like an inconvenience. Never again.

Not very professional. Did not start my second order of food until the first was handed to me or so I thought. I had to ask after 45 minutes of waiting and they did not even know we had another order. Sat inside for about 30+ minutes before I got any food at all and it was not very busy. They were all mingling instead of cooking. Also ordered no ham on my wrap and still got ham on it. However we did get a free drink card after finally getting our second order.
