Actually hit this place up three consecutive times while visiting my home city! The food is mostly well made and delicious. The only complaint is that the sides (mashed potatoes and broccoli) came out cold during two of our visits. Can't recommend the fried grouper sandwich enough! The coconut fish and shrimp was also a treat! Their drinks are beyond reasonable and made well and the view is just gorgeous and serene. Highly recommend stopping in if visiting!
By far the best dining experience we've had while visiting a local beach eatery after a day on the beach. The food was absolutely fabulous, not only with the extraordinary taste, temperature, presentation and speed it was served to our table. Everything we ordered was over the top delicious..! Also do yourself a favor and ask for Dulce to be your waitress (if she is working the day of your visit). All servers everywhere should take a lesson from this inspiring, personable young lady..! When I say she was on point from the beginning to end of our dining experience, she was so on point..! A job well done Dulce..!!! Seabreeze Island Grill = Absolutely Amazing!
This place was unbelievable! Susie was our waitress and she was perfect! With as busy as it was, she took her time and still had a moment to answer any questions and take a breath. We had Ahi Tuna as an appetizer, and then we both ate the Crab Stuffed White Fish and a Rum Runner to drink. Everything was phenomenal!
We had a great meal, service and atmosphere. The owner came around to speak with us and every other table. We will definitely be back!
We came to Redington Beach for my MIL's birthday and decided to come here for dinner and we're glad we did! The food was delicious and our server Dulce was phenomenal. The views are incredible, and they has jazz music which just topped the night off. Portions were big and the pre-dinner bread was very different but good. We will certainly be back!!
Very pleasant dining experience! The portion of ribs we got was overly generous, the ahi tuna was delicious too! You might need a reservation to get a table. Tables on the dock have gorgeous view especially during sunset! Prices about the average comparing to other restaurants on the cost. All complicated to find parking.
By far best crab legs I’ve ever had. The fried shrimp were incredible. The grouper starter was amazing!!! We are here on vacation but it was good enough we would make a special trip just for dinner. The manager came over to check on things and told us about a lobster fest coming up. She made it tough to leave. Lol come check it out for yourself. You won’t be disappointed. Thanks for an amazing experience
The perfect place on the water. Great atmosphere with amazing food. The menu had a variety of delicious choices. I had the famous Shrimp Pasta which is sauteed shrimp tossed in a house-made garlic cream sauce, penne pasta, and served a piece of garlic bread. Honestly I needed two pieces of bread so I could attempt to eat all the sauce that was left. Can't wait to go back a try another meal. For being a busy area this restaurant has a large amount of outdoor seating.
This is a great spot to go for lunch or an early dinner. Love sitting inside or outside by the water. Always had great service and the food is tasty! LOVE the bread and the shrimp corn chowder is a must try!
Great restaurant for the whole family. Good size portions and great views of the water. We sat inside as it was getting cooler outside but nice large patio with heat lamps. Great dinner and drink specials.
My family and I were blown away by our service and server today. Our server Jerry was hands down one of the best I ever had. He struck up a conversation with us and quickly learned that we were here to see our only son just weeks before he deploys he couldn't quit thanking him for his service and was so appreciative that he brought us the biggest, and best piece of chocolate cake we ever ate. with thank you wrote in chocolate on the plate Making it so personable.. later the manager came out to show her support as well and offered to take a family picture. My son hates all the attention because for him it's just a job he signed up for and loves to do. But as his mother it was so touching to me... Jerry you are the very best, and thank you Seabreeze for showing love and support...oh, and the food was amazing a must eat place if you visit here...
From the moment we first walked into this establishment, we were greeted by the friendliest of faces. Even the manager on duty came around to greet us and even make small talk. We were seated immediately, and this was at 7:30 pm. Everything came out promptly and I am being absolutely honest when I say that everything here tasted great. I had the Hula Hula Pineapple Shrimp (pictured below). This dish, along with all the others, tasted delicious. Samuel did an absolutely amazing job of taking care of everything we needed. He had an amazing personality and attitude. He was also very attentive and we just really thought he was great. Everything about Seabreeze Island Grill is absolutely amazing. I've tried just about everything in this area, and SeaBreeze Island Grill is honestly my favorite restaurant in the area.
I really enjoy coming here . The service was excellent, location had nice view . Plenty of parking . Bathrooms were clean . Food was delicious. Would definitely like to come back again . This was a first visit recommend by a friend . Our server who was at the bar was just absolutely fantastic !
I’m always cautious when selecting a waterside restaurant—most are egregiously overpriced and overrated. This location, however, shocked us all! We went in with low expectations, just hungry and seeking environment more than dining experience. The food was fresh and delicious and well-portioned, with lots to choose from! The coconut butter n’ bread?! Yumm!!!! The environment was exactly what we wanted and more, with solid live music, pretty lights on a spacious waterside patio, and relaxing vibes. The service was friendly and efficient. Though the patio was busy, the wait wasn’t too bad for our bigger party. Would definitely return to this place in a heartbeat! Bonus: there’s even night herons who are friends of the restaurant and will bring entertainment to your meal as well! :) Also, points for having a swell bike rack for us cyclists~
in our nearly 5 years of moving to Florida from the west coast of the United States I can honestly say that tonight's meal and dining experience was by far the best we've had so far. Casie (our server) transformed our intent of just having some drinks to having drinks with an appetizer to having multiple drinks appetizers, entrees and dessert, making it our only stop this evening. Matt the manager stopped by to get our feedback and topped off the evening exceptionally. I have to say that every single thing from drinks to apps to food was the best I've had in Florida this far. Coming from someone like me that certainly says a lot. Well done guys we will be back
This place is almost perfect every time I go. My meal mates ordered the grouper sandwich and it looked very delicious. The fillet on the sandwich is twice the size as the bun and looked very well cooked and gorgeously flaky. I got the coconut shrimp and potato wedges and it was very good. I don't recommend the coleslaw though. Something about it is very strange. Maybe it was just not to my tastes. I am a big coleslaw fan but this one just was not for me. The pineapple bread and coconut butter they bring to your table alone is worth a revisit.
Amazing lunch special for $15. I ordered the crab stuffed white fish with veggies and caramel drizzled cheesecake. The bread and butter (coconut butter w/ macadamia) were stellar. Great happy hour specials. Fair price, amazing water view, and friendly service. Will definitely be back👍👍
Great experience here. The service was tentative as Tara did a fantastic job in guiding me through a wonderful seafood experience. She was informative with a great personality. 5 star service. The food performed just as good. The shrimp skewer was done nicely, the salad a good mix of flavor, and the fish dinner done perfectly with a nice compliment of black beans and rice as my side. The environment overall is inviting whether you sit inside or somewhere on the expansive patio. If in the area as a local or as a visitor, this is a must try restaurant and likely will end up on your regular rotation of places to enjoy.
Beautiful but casual outdoor dining on the water. The food and drinks were excellent! Good, fairly fast service even though it was very busy. We really enjoyed the Seabreeze and will be back! Indoor dining and full bar available but I highly recommend the outdoor patio.
We are from OKC and wanted a unique spot that wasn't terribly expensive and had great seafood and a view and this place delivered!! We came for the specials and this is my #1 restaurant of the trip. Can't go wrong with a margarita and the coconut shrimp is the best I've had anywhere. We ordered and shared plates and it was more than enough food and SO tasty. Our server Austin was so friendly and accommodating. Extra highlight: we saw dolphins AND got cheesecake! If the weather is nice, sit on the patio and go before 5:30 for the awesome specials!
This place was great! I stopped one evening with my wife while on a business trip. The girls at the front desk were nice and on top of things. Our server was pleasant and friendly, along with trying bring us things to the table before we would need them. There was also live music from a local artist who was great. I really enjoyed my experience from the inviting atmosphere, to the view, and great food. My steak, shrimp skewer, slaw, and potatoes were excellent. We also thoroughly enjoyed the crab cakes and fresh bread. I plan to come back!
We had a fantastic experience here! We ordered the conch fritters for an appetizer (delicious), the fried fish sandwich, the fish tacos and the kabobs for our main dishes. Everything was hot and fresh. The views are also a plus!
The outdoor dining area is fun. The place was busy but we were served relatively quickly. The stuffed white fish was excellent. My wife said her Hula hula pineapple shrimp was very good as well. It definitely looked cool...
Frequent traveler - we had dinner at this place. The staff was friendly and they seated us quickly. There was ample parking and a wide selection of Florida grill selections - fish Nd shellfish. They had a steak and various pasta options. They have happy hour until 11 - 6 pm and everyday there is $3 margaritas and rum runners and sangria all day every day.
Absolutely the best food we have had!! And 5 stars for Dulce our server!! She was the best! Ask her for recommendations on food. Spot on for everything she recommends!! Will definitely be back again
Nice staff, really good food. Prices match what you get. And beautiful and relaxing view. We really enjoyed our dinner. Our waitress was really attentive and efficient. Our dessert was way to big 🤣 we ordered one for both but even that only ate half. We gonna be back soon for sure.
This was our first visit and one of our new favorites! The view of the water from the outdoor patio was beautiful! Samuel was our server and he was phenomenal. What a gem! The bread and mac nut butter was a nice surprise. The drinks were unique and strong. We ordered fish tacos, lobster, and cheesecake. All of it was excellent. The lobster was seasoned and cooked to perfection. A photographer came and took a free photo souvenir for us which set this experience over the top. Parking was free and plentiful. We can't recommend this place enough!
Wonderful restaurant. Best to make a reservation. Great food & drinks, great service. We had a larger group, of all ages, and everyone was impressed. Highly recommend the crabcake & key lime cheesecake.
Live music... great menu and fresh seafood..... what else do ya want?? Band was great... food was fresh and well prepared. Popular place so be prepared! They do take reservations and the dress is casual. If you're lucky you might meet George and Carlos, their bird mascots who love shrimp, haha.
What a gem! Incredibly clean, well-appointed intercostal restaurant with a vast selection of dishes and drinks. I enjoyed a mango vodka cocktail. We shared the spicy cheese curd appetizer, which is absolutely amazing. For our lunch entrées, one enjoyed the Jerk Chicken Pasta, Jerk Chicken Sandwich, and the Coconut Crusted Grouper with Veggies. Everything was absolutely amazing, with wonderful taste, texture, and flavor. My groupers crust was crispy with the perfect amount of coconut, the housemade pineapple salsa WA sweet and savory, even the salad had tiny bits of pineapple. The Jerk Chicken sandwich on pineapple bread had similar salsa, with a big slice of pineapple, plus guava BBQ sauce, which was heavenly. Our server, Abi, was knowledgeable and friendly, made excellent recommendations, and was an amazing service. Add this one to your list when in the area we came up from Treasure Island for lunch, absolutely loved it and will be back!
Mah God. I've been there more than my toes and fingers can count and always come out stuffed and so, so happy. Talk about not only the best deal in Redington Shores, but the best deal in any Coastal Florida town, perhaps?! Friendly service, waterfront, AND $12 for a three-course meal Early Bird menu. Anyone showing up between opening and 6 PM can take advantage of this. This deal includes their homemade, freshly-baked luau bread accompanied by either famous coconut macadamia butter as an appetizer; followed by one out of 10 entrée options that include things like creamy shrimp pasta or Mahi tacos PLUS two sides; finished up with a slice of their homemade cheesecake, drizzled with your choice of fruit, chocolate or caramel syrups. Pair THAT combo with a $3 massive Margarita (or $4 if you want premium tequila) and you understand why I have been going there religiously for nearly 10 years. This week though, we veered off that menu a bit as we were there later. We decided to not only get the crispy mahi tacos we always get, but also the royal red shrimp - which sincerely tastes even better than lobster ! So tender, beautifully seasoned. Definitely a great choice blackened! It was my birthday, so I also got one free pick of the gigantic homemade desserts board and boy, was that coconut cake to die for!
Reservations on a Friday night made it easy to get the table we were looking for. Have a table of four waiting for us on a busy Friday night. The outside seating was not too loud not too crowded and the ambiance was enjoyable. The entertainer played music and entertained us while we were available to talk without reason our voices. This is a seafood restaurant, not vegetarian, so the comments about not enough vegetarian selections in previous posts make no sense. You're going to a seafood restaurant. The entree selections all looked very delicious. The tables were clean and well appointed, there was an umbrella that could be opened in the Sun but it was dark when we came so it was closed. Cloth napkins and quality silverware for your dining. While we were waiting for order our waitress, Kendall, who by the way was very attentive but not intrusive so that our conversation is not interrupted, brought flavored Breads and butter, flavored with pineapple mango and coconut to add to the tropical feel of the restaurant. The fish tacos were nicely sized and enough to be a meal, not just an appetizer. There is plenty of fish, the tacos were very flavorful and not too spicy, as were the sides. The Seabreeze Famous crab stuffed Whitefish, had crab cake stuffed inside of a split open fish (tilefish?) with shrimp on top. The buttercream sauce is tasty and not too salty. The garlic mashed potatoes smooth and just the right amount of garlic flavor. The 'Real grouper' was fresh, firm and juicy. This tasted fresh off the boat and not previously frozen. Real grouper filet and was the highlight of the meal. Flaky at firm as grouper should be and not overcooked to the point of being dry. This was served with two sides, substituting the vegetables was a good choice. The vegetables were a mixture of asparagus green beans fresh cut onions and were al dente and cooked, so you knew they were fresh. Overall, this was a wonderful evening, and everyone in the group decided that this became one of their favorite spots when visiting the beach. Well worth the drive up from St Pete Beach where we were staying. We will definitely be coming back on our next vacation
While working in the area I stopped in wanting to sit by the water for an early dinner. The view was beautiful and did not disappoint. The margaritas were delicious and quite frankly the BEST I have ever had. Seriously they are that good. The grouper fingers are amazing and if you like fries you’re gonna Love these. Then we enjoyed coconut shrimp wow. Yummy. And the white fish and shrimp over a crab cake. The way the chef blended the flavors was masterful. One didn’t overpower the other and the cream sauce was just right. Rich and creamy. I only dinged the service for the confusion between the hostess and the server. The server was super so she got a full tip. And to be fair the hostess was very sweet. So no big deal either way. I would recommend this place for fantastic food and drinks. Enjoy.
The outside of this restaurant does not do this place justice. We've been coming to this area for 15 years, but this was our first experience here, and we will for sure be returning every year from now on. We sat inside due to the weather being chilly on the day we were there, but there are great views from the outdoor seating area. The bathrooms were clean, as was the table, silverware, and the floor in the dining area we were at in. Our server, Madison, was attentive, friendly and very helpful, suggesting different items from the menu. We chose the Shrimp & Sweet Corn Chowder as a starter, which was very good, warm, and had just the right kick to it. We then ordered the Hula Hula Pineapple Shrimp, which was absolutely amazing. The rice is VERY hot, so be careful. It had roughly 20 shrimp like on top, which paired perfectly with the cooked pineapple and rice. It was served with cooked plantains, which weren't my cup of tea, but that's a personal preference... but it also came with steamed broccoli, which was very good. We also ordered the Jerk Mahi Mahi that was served with a sweet potato mash. It was cooked wonderfully and was topped with a mango salsa. Lastly, we had the pumpkin cheesecake and raspberry cheesecake... so yummy. I highly recommend The SeaBreeze Island Grill. You will not be disappointed!
This has always been on our lists of places to try and every time there has been a long wait time. We finally caught a midweek early bird lunch. Sat outside by the water and enjoyed the daily drink specials and appetizer. We picked from the back of menu and got more food than we bargained for. I see why this place is consistently busy. This is a must try.
Taylor was our lovely waitress, and served our party of 15 very well. She was super attentive, and also had a great sense of humor. All the meals and drinks were served in a prompt manner and we didn't even have to ask for refills. Sitting outside was a great atmosphere, as it's right on the water. Beautiful green parrots and a red eyed night heron came and visited on the railing, just before flying off into the distance. Very pleased with the service and food!
Amazing!! Celebrated a birthday here and coincidentally during a full moon and along with great food, we also enjoyed some spectacular views! I especially enjoyed the pineapple margarita. The drink would be better with a dash more of tequila otherwise a great drink. The service was friendly, attentive and efficient. The food was equally amazing!! The seafood was very fresh!! Our favorite were the crab cakes, they were loaded with beautiful fresh crab meat! So YUMMY 😋😋😋 The live music was also enjoyable. The wild birds also provide a lot of entertainment, please adhere to the rules and do not feed the birds! The birthday boy was celebrated with a complimentary delicious cheese cake slice! Thank you Seabreeze Island Grill, we had a great time!
My wife, young daughter, and I tried Seabreeze Island Grill because it was close to where we were staying and it was in the water. And boy were we glad we did. Service was very fast and friendly. Highly recommend the $5 margaritas. We started with the grouper bites. My wife had the fish tacos and I had the coconut crusted grouper. The portions were very generous and everything was delicious! So much so, we went back the next night with family who lives in the area. It was again amazing.
Very nice spot for waterside lunch to sit and enjoy nature, meaning the birds sunbathing. Comfortable outside seating with sun umbrellas on most of the tables. The servers show up right away once you are seated. They get your drink order and come back with come coconut bread and coconut butter. Since I am not a fan of coconut I have no opinion of the bread other than it looked good. We started with the grouper nuggets and the street corn dip. AMAZING!. The nuggets here were huge, I was assuming like most other places they would be these little tiny pieces, and getting over charged for it, I was so wrong, they are a good meal by itself. Nuggets almost as big as my fingers, so they were price appropriately. The street corn dip was delicious, I liked the tostone they topped it with but also served with tortilla chips. We had to push these to the side to safe room for the next items. They had a special that day, the bratwurst sandwich topped with sauerkraut, caramelized onion, bacon with a side of spicy brown mustard. It Came out looking wonderful, only issue was that they forgot the onions. It took awhile to get our servers attention but finally got his attention he fixed the problem and the delicious sandwich was complete. My friend had some kind of chicken tacos, they were huge also. She was completely satisfied. The only issue for me is once they drop your food down they tend to not come back and check to see if you need anything. They move on to the next table that has been seated and I can only assume that they assume you won't need anything especially if you didn't order beverages, since my friend and I both do not drink alcohol or carbonated drinks we had water. We see it all the time, they rarely come back with water refills. I do have to mention that since I do consume so much watch I am picky about the taste, congratulations Seabreeze for having water that actually tasted good. All in all it was a very nice experience with delicious food. I recommend this place for a relaxing lunch.
Stopped in yesterday for lunch, the happy hour signage got my attention. Both the hostesses kind of just stared at me in uncertainty, as if slightly amazed. I had to actually inquire on seating options! I was also dining alone which isn’t rare these days maybe that’s why the shock? Anyhow sat outside to view the water. Antonia was super friendly & had a great attitude & service. I ordered two appetizers as my meal both were delicious! The boneless jerk chicken bites wasn’t as spicy as I hoped for. There was another male bartender/server that was also very hospitable, they were a great team. And the GM I believe his name is Ben also checked to see how food was & was welcoming. Overall, I’d dine here again, very spacious place w/ great & plentiful outdoor seating. And you can’t beat $4 margaritas at the beach!
Really good first impressions. The table bread has pineapple and coconut and came with butter with macadamia nuts. So good. I could eat just this and be happy as a clam. We got the blackened grouper and seafood platter(menu said fish, scallops, and shrimp). No idea what the fish was but it tasted good and was cooked well. The grouper was excellent and I would eat again. The ancient grains side was wonderful. Plantains and fries were good. The sauteed veggies were sad. They were overcooked to a pitiful watery, mushy texture. They also oozed a good amount of water over the plate and rest of the food. Would not recommend. Overall I would go back. But would choose a different side. Edit. We got cake. 1.5 lbs. Good portion for the price. The cake itself was good texture and rich chocolate flavor. The filling between was odd (wet and grainy texture with mild flavor but strong chocolate after taste) the whipped cream was very artificial tasting. Overall kids would like it and it does the job. Nothing special.
Great place for lunch by the water on a nice day. We brought my mother in law here for her birthday. I got the cauliflower “steak” which wasn’t great. Somebody else had the pork and didn’t find it had any taste. Everyone else loved the other dishes which included the salmon. The service was wonderful as they let us swap out the pork for something else. Overall, it was a lovely place.
Wonderful restaurant on the intercoastal and is well worth a trip. Has multiple different locations for seating which will give you a different atmosphere. Lots of seating outside and a great bar. The food was wonderful, my stuff grouper was fantastic and my husband loved the key West shrimp. Great place to come with family, couples or single. Trap cocktail was great.
Had dinner while on vacation in the area. Sat outside on the patio which was very comfortable with a nice view. We shared the Mexican street corn fritters which were excellent! Highly recommend. I had the grouper sandwich which was ok but could have used more seasoning. My husband had the jerk chicken pasta which was big enough to share and he said it was delicious. I got a piece of key lime pie to go and it was ok but not one of my favorites.
So we had a party of 7 people total, 4 adults and 3 children. We were sat right away after coming in the door. We started with a gentleman as our server which brought us waters. He then disappeared for and never came back. A waitress then came to us and took our food order while the guy never came back. Next, after we ordered, within 1 hour of waiting, we still didn't receive our food. I had to go get the manager and next thing you knew, the food came out about 10 minutes later. The food was really good, drinks were light on the alcohol, but it was okay. The manager made it up to us but, it did waste a lot of our time. We then went the next day for a couple drinks and apps to give it another try and our server was Chris was fanomonal. He was very attentive and very fast. If I had to say anything, Chris made up for all the wrong things that happened the day before. Again, food was good and drinks were weak the first time.
Nice place in a great location. Our server, Phil, was great. Helpful, friendly and attentive for sure. Food was good. The fish dip was amazing, pepper relish was amazing! Pineapple coconut bread was very special. Those two things made it worth the trip! Grouper sandwich was just okay. I got the blackened filet and I swear it tasted like it had been previously frozen. My wife had the grilled filet and said hers was good. Hogfish was on the menu, but they were out of it.
Great atmosphere and friendly service. I ordered the blackened fish filet, but it came with the bun and no fish! The waitress took it back and the blackened fish sandwich came out right about when the other 2 guests I was dining with were finishing their meal. Food was delicious and had a good flavor to it
Decent restaurant. The hostess was a little rude but our server was great. The food was decent and fairly priced. I could not finish my libations, very poorly made. The setting is casual and beachy, so it is very family friendly. Not a bad spot to grab a bite after the beach.
Incredibly average American food. I expected more given the ratings, location and price point. The service was good, the place was incredibly loud and the food was just bland. If you are looking for the “I am on vacation with my entire family and need to go out to eat restaurant”, this is it. Would not return.
It’s closed. No furniture outside, sign on the main door says “keep out”. Website says there are specials today?? Update: To the owners-I’m truly sorry for your loss and wish the owners best of luck! Someone updated to show the location is temporarily closed now; hopefully it saves others the frustration of visiting a closed restaurant. They mentioned it’s been closed since the hurricanes last year about 20 minutes after I posted. I took a closer look at the reviews and some do mention it’s closed, but with 5 star reviews. What was the last “local guide” who posted 5 days ago with 5 star rating thinking??
