Tijuana Flats

This was my first time visiting this location and I was very impressed. The food was fresh and delicious. I had Dos Tacos and the taco shells and chips were fresh and crispy. My husband had wings and chips. My sister had a burito and chips. They both enjoyed their meals too. The service was great. We were seated outside next to the water and the waitress was very attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed the scenic location of this restaurant too. Being able to sit outside next to the water while we ate was a treat! We will be back soon!

My favorite Taco place always friendly staff and delicious food

Great carry-out dinner. We hadn't been for awhile because we previously had some service issues and multiple incorrect items. It seems they recognized their staffing shortage and got rid of curbside, which I think is greatly improving their service though. Our order was all correct, hot, and delicious. I do miss their old rice, and them having queso blanco...but those are decisions from Tijuana Flats corporate so just gotta hope they'll change the menu again.

Tijuana Flats is my go-to spot for bold Tex-Mex flavors. The food’s always fresh, the hot sauce bar is legendary, and the vibe is fun and laid-back. Staff is friendly and fast, making it perfect for a casual bite or quick lunch. Highly recommend!

This Tijuana Flats is one of the best ones I've ever been to.Their food is awesome. The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff are so great here.They really know how to dish it up and they have all those great sauces. I really like the inside dining area, but the outside dining area is also very nice as well being located next to the small body of water.

This is an awesome place for some Texmex. It is counter service but once you enter you would never had known. They are all about the customer experience. As soon as we walked up they were holding the door for us. As we waited in line they offered to bring us a drink. After a brief wait we were met by more big smiles asking for our order and not hesitating to answer any questions. The food was amazing and the service was unbelievable. I travel all over for bus6 and this was by far one of my best lunch experience. (It was so good I ate there 3 days in a row) They also have a huge selection of hot sauces. I highly recommend checking this place out!!!!

To rate a Tijuana Flats one must only compare it to the franchise standard. The Tijuana Flats on Roosevelt Blvd. is exceptional in comparison. I had the chicken chimichanga with chips and an iced tea. The food was fresh and the restaurant was clean. The counter person was pleasant and the service was fast. There was no wait at this s location and the hot sauce bar was clean. Great for a quick bite without the wait. I recommend this location and suggest it for tacos.

Great hot sauce bar with choices from sweet to ghost pepper, with super fun names. The murals are fun too. We ordered the burrito with blackened chicken and the atom bombs to split. Could not even split the meal!!! Great service, they seem like they really want you to enjoy your experience, which means a lot. The food in 2 words...ridiculously amazing!!! Put this on your list of must go, if you havent already!!!!

Got the cookie dough flautas with strawberry sauce, oh my goodness so good! Can't wait to go back!

The team at this Tijuana Flats literally goes above and beyond while being fun and so nice to work with. Ordered a taco meal kit for the family the night of my dad’s funeral and Uber had forgotten the meat for it. I know they aren’t responsible for Uber orders but I called just to see if they could help and without batting an eye they were ready to make things right (I didn’t even tell them about the funeral). Thank you to this team whose kindness shined so bright on a dark day. That’s what makes the world a better place. ALSO the meal was fantastic and delicious and we are happily fed.

Great atmosphere & the artwork is amazing! The food is a little bland but their hot sause bar more then makes up for the lack of flavor. Chips are a little more salty then I prefer, but they fresh and crispy. 4 stars only because they do not have a meat substitute or tofu option. Also would love to see a ghost pepper sause added to their hot sause bar. I was surprised when trying all their hot sauses that all but 2 are jalapeño. The "Mofo 'En Insane" is my favorite and would recommend if you are looking for their hottest sause. This sause does have Carolina reapers but from what I can tell it's a small amount.

Their staff seemed like all the teenage girls and they all were so very nice and cheerful. They provided my little one with a set of crayons and a coloring page to keep her busy. We ordered our food, the service was pretty quick despite it being busy. The hot sauce bar is an ultimate collection of hot, sweet and the hottest sauces. If you want to enjoy mexican delicacies with Great Music and rocking ambience, this is the place for you.

This Tijuana Flats does not have the expert customer experience that the Largo one brings but it is still pretty good. Tijuana Flats seems to be one of the last holdouts to offer vegan items or protein, but that aside, the service is good, the food is tasty, and the prices are reasonable.

Ordered a chicken chimichanga wet with cheese sauce. I also ordered a side of rice and beans. I did this because the corn chips they serve as a side had some bad reviews on google. I would have to agree with the reviews I read. The chips are thick and not good. The chicken was bland and the rice and beans had no flavor. I really liked the hot sauce bar but felt like that was the only thing this place had going for it. Bummer.

Fast food chain in a busy shopping / living complex. Built for speed and efficiency but lacks soul. Flavors are ok, everything was served on a tray with paper, no plates. Service is what sets TF apart from other TexMex joints. Got the Tuesday taco special. Good deal, ok food...

Was really looking forward to it but was disappointed. Not only was online order not ready at the time of scheduled pickup, and no one even started to make it prior to me showing up and asking questions, no one apologized for that and generally they seemed like they couldn't be bothered making it. Burrito was very dry, the little sause that there was (only sour cream) and most of the filling lumped onto one end, so for the first 3/4 you eat dry rice and bread. Mine was supposed to be veggie burrito but whatever onions and peppers there would have been, they went very light on. No guac. They threw in chips but altogether none of it came with any salsa whatsoever, it was like chewing dry paper altogether. Really heartbreaking. I had a coupon but if I actually paid ten bucks for this I'd be pretty livid.

My husband and I love Tijuana Flats and frequently visit this location for takeout. The staff is super friendly and efficient but the kitchen staff is lacking…. I have an allergy and always include no cheese on my tickets, but almost every time I find cheese in my tacos. Also we love the churros but pretty much everytime we order them, they are torched and inedible. We leave notes for the kitchen but I’m not sure if they aren’t seeing them or just don’t care. Either way it’s frustrating, hopefully they can get it together because this is a convenient location for us!

The staff was wonderful but we do not feel we'll ever go in there again. The food was poor quality. Sad testimony.

I use to love eating here I'm here now and we spent 25$ they barely put chicken on our tacos and nachos and tried to hide it with ridiculous amount of lettuce. The first time we ordered here everything was great, but the second time we ordered the same taco it was bad - the taco shell was too soggy so it completely fall apart, it’s impossible to grab the taco out. Also it looks way smaller than what we got the first time. (Below photo is for 3 street taco for reference). Very disappointed, you’ll need to get lucky to get a good order.

I come in here quite often and I have noticed over the last couple of months things have gone downhill at this location. There has been multiple times I have called ahead to get an order for takeout due to having a short lunch break or just trying to get home quickly. I will stay on hold for more than 10 to 15 minutes and will walk into the restaurant with the phone ringing to maybe one or two customers in the store. The employees are in the back joking and just hanging out while the phone is ringing. Happened multiple times and I understand things happen and people get busy. But when I sit on hold for 20 minutes and walk into a very slow restaurant, with my phone on speaker showing them I’ve been sitting on hold it’s very frustrating. I am not want to leave reviews but I spend a good amount of money at this restaurant and if there is a owner or manager that sees it I just wanted to bring it to your attention. The cherry on top was the food/burritos were very sloppily made the last few times I have been in there and I wanted to wash my hands and obviously employees use this restroom and there it was no soap in the bathroom as you can see in the picture so I don’t understand how they’re washing hands but seriously guys come on . Get it together I love Tijuana Flats food but this is getting very frustrating and I live right next-door

What’s the point of ordering early? They said eat in customers come first?? Why? Placed a to go on the app and then made to wait till everyone person who ordered afterwards but chose to dine in to get their food first. I ordered 30 mins prior to others…happy to be patient but all to go people just standing there waiting while others who ordered after are served first.

Honestly... this used to be one of my favs... but now it's just such a dump. The hot bar is nasty. The floors are sticky. The tables are a mess. I will miss the good times, but this is the last trip here. Many many better options. RIP.

Yo, TJ, I paid extra for steak and this is what I get? Insane. Que Pasa will be my go to for now own. There's no consistency in the food. Queso is runny one day, thick the next. Smh

Order some tacos 2 chicken and 1 beef. They messed up how we wanted them and the beef taco barely had any meat on it. We usually have a decent experience but this time it was extremely disappointing.

This location needs an overhaul. I understand when you're busy wait times are to be expected. But I placed an order with a pickup time of 6:34 and walked out with my food at 8:05. On top of that the order was wrong and COLD! My wife called to get the order rectified and was placed on hold for 30 minutes, she hung up before anyone could get back to her. Totally unacceptable.

This is 2nd time I’ve ordered through uber eats and I’m missing items…very unfortunate too because they can’t just send the missing items back out. I bought a whole bag of chips and now I have no queso to go with it. I didn’t receive any hot sauce that I requested. I wish things would be thoroughly checked before sending it off for delivery, but I’m not risking it with Tijuana flats anymore.
