Small cozy little diner with great prices, super fast service, and delicious food. I got a sausage and cheese omelette with hash browns, and rye toast. Food was out in no kidding like 5 minutes. Probably 3 oz of cheddar cheese in omelette! Hash browns were great and plenty of butter on toast. My waitress was fast, attentive, and my coffee never dropped below half full. Bill was under $14 and I had even paid extra for the cheese as my omelette didn’t come with it on the menu. All in all, total win. Will absolutely be back.

Group of us just made our every 3 month trip to Mama’s from CT to see the greatest waitress since Alice! Hope is amazing!!!! She makes eggs fun again. From omelettes to parenting advise Hope brings it!!! We already have our flights booked and are counting the days to our next visit. Let’s never lose Hope
This is our first experience with mama‘s kitchen, we just moved to Tampa. I have to say that the customer service was very exceptional. In a world that rarely has it anymore, I want to give recognition and appreciative to Vicky, Teddy, and Katerina, Very friendly, very personable, and the customer service level that I miss. Those three have it. Go check out mamas. It’s a very good food and the service is impeccable. Appreciate you. See ya again soon!
It was 32 this morning and I'll be frank, cereal at home didn't sound like it'd cut it. We've passed this place a million times and it's always been on the top of the "we so need to go there" pile. Today was the (frigid) day. I got the hash browns and the egg cheese bacon bagel sandwich. I'll say this. There were 2 dozen people outside on the frigid cold. And it was fully warranted. That was a breakfast that shot me back in time to central Illinois greasy spoons with my grandparents after church on a Sunday. Me and my tummy will be back.
Old school eatery with the best Greek Burger in Tampa that is made to order. Also another great place to reward your child with delicious chocolate chip pancakes!
They serve liberal portions and delicious, flavorful assortments of (breakfast) selections. It is a special treat when I go to Mama's.
First time visiting. Everything was great. It's a small, very busy diner but we didn't have to wait for a table or our food. Parking isn't the greatest.
Great breakfast spot right outside of MacDill AFB, easily my favorite. The staff really make you feel at home, and if you visit at all close to regularly, they'll get to know you on a first name basis. Gotta get the Mama's Special or the "Mama's Special 2" (not it's official name but they'll know what you mean). They'll do substitutions without problems or upcharges. Very military and family friendly.
I love diners. This one by far was an amazing experience i haven't had in one in a while. Amazing coffee and eggs. I had the country fried steak and it was perfect. Highly recommend.
Mama’s Kitchen is hands down one of the best breakfast spots around. The place feels real and authentic the second you walk in , no gimmicks, just good people making good food. Everything tastes fresh, the portions are solid, and the prices are more than fair for what you get. It’s the kind of spot that makes you feel like a regular even on your first visit. If you want a great breakfast without the fuss, Mama’s Kitchen is definitely the place to go.
Local favorite. Friendly experienced staff and the food comes out quickly. Diner style menu with plenty of options to satisfy picky eaters. Their pancakes are perfection! Coffee and good vibes flow generously here.
This was the best idea 💡 have had in such a while. It's relaxing and the food is cooked perfectly. Classic feel and Phenomenal Atmosphere. HUGE THANK YOU TO who runs this place.
Came in on a whim to check out a Tampa favorite that I'd heard about, and wasn't disappointed in the slightest. Extremely fast and on point wait service, delicious food and comfortable eating and family oriented dining experience. Would come again for sure 100%

This place is hard to beat for a good breakfast. Reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Good food. My eggs were cooked to perfection. I always stop here for breakfast anytime my work has me in that part of town in the morning. 2 thumbs up
Awesome breakfasts! Recommend highly their Greek omelet (I add spinach) with home-fries (well-done for me) and bread of your choice (I choose English muffin). Fast, friendly service. Great folks. Friends & family love their lunches, too!

Came here for bunch with a group. I had a veggie omelette, which is photoed. The food was really good! The service was great. Our server offered recommendations, ensured we had everything we needed multiple times, and made us feel very welcomed overall. Food arrived quickly after ordering, wasn't crazy expensive, was hot and nice, and had very good flavor. Great experience.

The servers are attentive and the food is good, the place is on the smaller side which gives it a comfortable and united feel. The place is clean and the parking is accessible. The food is very presentable and the staff is supper attentive and friendly.
So fast! Staff is super friendly. Super clean! Food was delicious! I rarely give 5 stars but they earned it. Looking forward for to many more visits while we’re in town.
We both had country fried steak. One with grits and with eggs fried hard and the other with scrambled eggs and home fries. Even though the place was busy, the wait was not long at all. Super courteous staff and great selection of food. The country fried steak was really good. I could have cut it with a butter knife but the breading was still crispy. Really nice gravy as well. The home fries were seasoned well without salt which is fantastic because I can add my own salt to taste. Eggs were eggs. The only downside were the grits. Nothing special about them. Just grits. Overall a really fantastic place to have a nice Sunday breakfast... Or any day for that matter! Next time I've got to try some lunch.

Another hometown eatery. Tasty food and good portions. Strikes me as a place of locals. I am a local just the first time I have eaten there. Update: December 4, 2024 Still making a great bacon Cheeseburger! Update: February 8, 2025 Breakfast is still delicious and the service was great on this morning!
Good food. Friendly atmosphere. Place of business is a small diner. The only thing I didn’t like is if you ordered a meat omelette, you had to pay extra for cheese. But it was only $.50. And it was clearly marked on the menu. I had a ham and cheese omelette and a single pancake but with tax the cost was over $17 which I found a little excessive. Otherwise I recommend eating there. Also, it would’ve been nice if my server had asked to refill my drink or if I wanted anything else but she didn’t but everybody else there was very very nice. She was tipped 15% before tax.

Second time we order through Uber Eats, same order, 2 orders of French Toasr with bacon. What do I get, a club sandwich the first time and now only 1 order of the French toast. I don't care about a refund or the money, what I care about is eating breakfast before heading to work. So thanks for messing up my order for a second time.
