Pizza was very good. Often it's hard to find good "Authentic" New York style pizza by the slice when your not actually in NYC. I ordered a simple cheese slice as often that's the best way to determine the quality of the pizza. And they absolutely delivered It had that precise balance of flavor in the cheese being just a little bit sharp but not too much. brought me right back to when I visited times square last year.

Excellent New York style pizza! Very fast service, great crew and reasonable prices. We had wings and a Philly sandwich also. Wings were good quality with a typical Frank's hot sauce. The sandwich was very good as well. Metered parking in front.

It's a classic carry out pizza place with delicious new york style pizza. Seriously, you put 2 arcade machines in here and it becomes the pizzeria from the 80s. Great food, friendly, fast customer service, pizza by the slice - huge slices, too!

I love this place for the Dago dip, pizza and chicken here. Everything is spot on with quality and flavor. I've never had any issues or crazy long waits for food. Pretty affordable as well. The employees are really nice and always helpful. defiantly have to try this place and especially the french beef dip known as the "Dago Dip"

The salad and pizza by the slice was so good. The place is very unassuming but the food was so good. I am still thinking about it as we speak. The prices are so affordable for such amazing pizza. I think i have to go back tomorrow because I can’t stop thinking about it.

A staple of Riveria village! It's a small location but its popularity speaks for itself. Great quality pizza that comes out quickly, close to the beach, and the price is extremely fair. I love how it's a New York style slice, it's thin and large so you can fold it like a true New York slice. If you plan to eat there, just remember it will be packed!

Crispy, flaky crust, deliciously seasoned sauce, fresh cheese & a generous amount of toppings. Friendly helpful service. We always call ahead & pick it up. It’s worthy the 30-45min drive for us.

The staff was friendly even when I was asking dumb questions. They don't have a ton of seating but we had no trouble finding a place to perch while we ate. The ambiance is bare bones casual, reminiscent of a typical NY pizza spot. Great place to grab a slice!

The best review I can give of this place is that when I was in New York I looked at yelp for the best New York pizza place and after a long treck to get there, it was the same as pedones pizza... Seriously the pepperoni and sausage pizza is the best in LA, I know it's a basic pizza but I wouldn't go here for their specialty pizzas. Also the chicken Cesar salad is amazing and my staple food as I live near by. The pasta dishes are always solid if you're bored of the usual dishes.

Fresh sandwiches, friendly staff, fast service. I had to downgrade the review from 5 stars because they frequently mess up orders. Not sure if it is the person taking them down or the person preparing the food, but the owner must be losing money with how frequently they throw food away because of their mistakes.

4 stars only because the wait is always long. YET, it's still worth the wait! They have the best, tastiest, thin crust "New York" pizza. If you want just a slice, be mindful they're huge and though thin, 1 slice is filling. Greasy? Yes, but if you're not into that, just use a napkin to dab and it's perfect! They have a great variety of pastas and subs if you're looking for a delicious addition to your Pizza Night!

Ordered pizza and wings for pickup . Ready in 20 minutes, which was fast for a Saturday at 5:30 . 2 Large pizzas plus 3 large order of wings was more than enough for 8 people ,. Thin crust pizza , not skimpy on the toppings . Wings were good size ,the large order is 12 wings and comes with 2 sauces, ranch and buffalo. but they do not come in MilD, medium , hot sauce . It's either hot sauce or "naked" . As was told on the phone, but the hot Wings according to my guests were "normal" . We used the buffalo sauce on the naked wings , VERY GOOD , the ranch sauce actually was blue cheese ,which was good also. Came with a lot of celery . When picking up, staff were polite, efficient. Lucky for us there were 2 empty parking spots in front of the restaurant .

Pedone's has indoor seating and a great LUNCH SPECIAL $6 Pepperoni slice, salad and a Coke. I'm from the East coast where pizza is really good. (100 points) So, I rate Pedone's at 95 points. Hits the spot!

I gave it 3 stars because the way they are now serving the salads on thin paper plates instead of the bowls they used to use is ridiculous! I wonder if they are fearing something. The pizza is still great, I've been going here for years so I can tell the difference may have to consider going elsewhere where real plates are used. Very disappointing!😒

This was our go to for years but sadly no more. We would drive 7 miles for the large sausage pepperoni pizza 2 times a month. WHY CHANGE THE SAUCE AND SAUSAGE UGH!!! Sooo disappointed :-( Only 1 star caus the crust was good

Lunch deals but the pizza is crap! Crust is so bad tasting. Not enough sauce and greasy on tilt. Been here 3 years and still cant find a really good pizza place in south bay

First time I ordered. No artichokes. Came over cooked and half burnt. Little or no sauce. Plenty of mushrooms to replace artichokes, but pepperoni toasted to a crisp. Spent $32. Will I order again? What do you think.

But ultimately....slow service, loose adherence to COVID-19 protocols, salads that were not just "wet"...but on the verge of being "slimy" and the best thing I can say is that the pizza was just "meh"....I just couldn't rate it any higher than this. This was the day after Christmas and maybe the stars just aligned for every aspect to fall a little short. I'm hoping that's the case and we just caught them on a bad day....but unfortunately, we were disappointed.

Worst pizza We ever had. We are Italians and this is not a pizza: this is the worst tasty meal u can have in life. Not tasty, not cooked, only taste garlic , not fresh, expired bad tasting tomato’s and not digestive meal at all. Go walk 1 block down and get ur pizza at Locale90: that taste like real pizza.

Disappointed by the slice 🍕 Looked like day old pizza with topping thrown on top. I understand that pizza places can get busy however if your selling by the slice, there should be some attention to detail. Maybe sprinkle some more cheese on top of the chosen topics to revive the slice. Or suggest maybe just getting a fresh pie if the slices look old.

Horrible customer service. They messed up our order and made us wait an extra 50 minutes without even an apology. Very rude girl in the front and even ruder man in the back. Don’t waste your time or money here for mediocre food and service. 0/10. Update: almost 1 year later and they still haven’t apologized or acknowledged how bad their service was. Makes sense as the ratings for them go down by the day….

One of the most tasteless, floppy, and greasy pizzas around. I don't understand the hype for this $5/slice pizza. New York Italian by name, garbage by taste.

First time trying this location. Apparently the food is as different as the location. The service was fine. The food, NOT. Looked like a bar and the food looked like it was prepared by someone who had been drinking. I will make the drive to the Catalina location from now on. I'm never paying $24 for chicken stick appetizer (which was okay) and meat sauce lasagna (wasn't meaty like Catalina's, there was something resembling meat sprinkled on top, looked processed). The "homemade garlic roll? Looked like a hoagie bun and the smallest amount of garlic butter on a knife or basting brush was wiped on the bread like the knife was being cleaned, one swipe with each piece of bread. The salad was fresh. That was good. The next time I see a food establishment is open till 2:15am I will assume it's a bar with a kitchen and a crappy cook. Sorry whoever was on shift 6/17/18' but you seriously need to step it up.

Ordering the same pizza ( mexican ) since 2003.. Lately i can tell the dough is not as good and the flavors have changed..Test like carboard now..Sad..

It’s not worth it ..the pizza is cold .. the mozzarella cheese so disappointed so cold and the calamari .. it’s too dark it’s time to change your oil you using to cook it. I can’t even eat it. The bbq chicken wings is good. Over all I’m not happy

The man that was behind the counter refused to serve me .i was happy to wait out side like and Uber driver but he said NO, angrily. Did not fell welcome and did not feel valued at Pedones Pizza in Hermosa. It is. Not worth trusting / wasting ur time!

My family and I had it for delivery, and let me tell you it was NOT WORTH it. The pizza flopped over with semi cooked cheese. Paid extra for pineapple - only had about 5 pieces total on the whole pizza. Taste was OFF, tasted like olives. To top it off, we found a long strand of hair across the pizza…

Their dumb delivery driver who is holding 3 pizzas and hands over 3 pizzas makes the mistake and only charges us for 2, smooth brained obviously. We tipped very nicely thinking it was a good price for 3 pizzas. Only to somehow get a phone call back demanding they charge us over the phone. My 3 large pizzas are now over 100 dollars and of course, even though we tipped nicely and almost paid for another pizza through our tip, they charge me for the most expensive pizza we ordered!

The Asian lady at the front came to tell us to tone our group down. We all apologized and she walked off. She kept talking as she walked away. I said “what” because i didn’t hear her, and she told me to just shut up. She brought our food and threw it in front of us. Don’t know how this gets past management but I think it’s inappropriate that a grown woman can’t control her temper over a few people who already apologized. Bad looks.
