I'd give 10 stars if I could! We casually walked in there to eat and we're so surprised by the quality of the food and great service. I'm a demanding customer and always notice the temperature, the texture, and balance of flavors in my dish. There was balance all throughout. Scallops were perfectly cooked, the risotto texture and seasoning were impecable, and my family's dishes were just as balanced and delicious. The booth was spacious and private, I loved everything about this place for a casual lunch after a boat ride. The kids menu was awesome too. Real food for kids who are used to eating real food at home. Grilled fish, rice, and Mac n cheese (orichiette pasta with a cheesy bechamel sauce). Just perfect really.
My family always enjoys a trip to R10 Social House. This is a great spot to grab a bite to eat right next to the Harbor and Redondo Beach Pier. The food is always fresh and very reasonably priced. The service is impeccable and really adds to the experience. The first time we dined here, we were concerned about my son's food allergies. They were very accommodating and worked with us to put together a meal he could eat. On our most recent visit, we had a couple of Grilled Catch of the Day (Mahi-Mahi) in a rice bowl with veggies. The fish was fresh and cooked perfectly. The ceviche appetizer was fresh and delicious. We ended up walking in an hour before closing and although the restaurant was buzzing with diners and activity, we had several different staff members checking on us constantly. This level of service is what we've come to expect from R10 Social House. Thank you as always for a great meal. We're already looking forward to next time!
Really wonderful service which makes everything great. The bartender, both servers made our night so great. The food and drinks came out quickly, and everything was delicious. The prices are very fair too. A gem of a place v
We showed up on a Sat at noon. There was no wait, the servers were super-nice. We were in a rush and they seated us quickly and got the food out quickly. The food was outstanding. My daughter is possibly the pickiest eater on earth and she said “5 stars—we have to review them”. I had the crab-stuffed salmon. Insanely good. My son said the crab-stuffed salmon is the best (he ordered kid pancakes with bacon & eggs and seemed happy enough).
Love the vibe here. Good cocktails and solid food. So close to neighboring watering holes and the iconic pier. Come here every chance I get even though I live an hour away. Something about the south bay and some good drinks.
This place is amazing! Great staff and great food and drinks. Prices are affordable and the atmosphere is always a great time. We have been here twice so far, definitely coming back. We came on Father's day and there was a live band playing but they did run out of oysters early in the day which was a bit of a bummer but I don't blame them for that. 11/10 restaurant definitely recommend it.
I had a great experience. First thing I noticed was the friendly staff, while I went in at off hours it was nice to have some friendly conversation. The food was great (try the brussel sprouts and wings) and so we're the drinks. The bartender even whipped up a pisco sour for me. I will be heading back R/10 while I'm still out here.
Lovely service, high quality food. I ended up getting the kid's mac and cheese because there are no vegetarian entrees (it is a seafood restaurant), but it was still great.
The staff was absolutely incredible and accommodating to last minute impossible requests for my friend’s Gender Reveal gathering. People kept showing up last minute that didn’t rsvp & The management is incredible and so are the waiters at how they handled everything and even came together to make sure none of us get poor rushed service even though it was our fault. I haven’t been this impressed with a place that is not a Michelin star in a long time. I’ll be going back and told all my friends.
Beautiful waterfront dining with great food and drinks, especially the strawberry seltzer. The Scallopapas and Thai Curry Mussels were delicious. Loved the coastal vibes! 🥰
R10 Social House in Redondo Beach is a must-visit! The atmosphere is inviting and the interior is beautiful, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal. The staff is friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming experience. I tried the Fresh Catch of the Day Bowl, the oysters, and the Filet Mignon Surf & Turf, and everything was exceptional — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. A fantastic spot for seafood lovers and anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.
Nice capacious area near the pier. Ordered the codmother drunken shellfish with pasta and fresh catch bowl. Portion was good. The drunken shellfish is on the saltier end so be prepared when ordering. Overall the dining experience was positive. I’d recommend to give R10 a try.
R10 Social House is an absolute gem on the Redondo Beach Marina—a must-visit spot for anyone who appreciates a killer cocktail, great food, and an unbeatable waterfront atmosphere. First off, Roman behind the bar is pure entertainment. He’s got the perfect mix of charm, wit, and skill—making every drink with precision while keeping the energy lively. Whether you’re a regular or just stopping by, he makes you feel like an old friend. The cocktails? Next level. Their espresso martinis are perfectly balanced—bold, smooth, and just the right amount of frothy deliciousness. And if you’re a whiskey lover, their Old Fashioneds are done right—rich, smooth, and expertly crafted. Now, let’s talk about the fire Thai mussels. Spicy, flavorful, and insanely addictive—the kind of dish you find yourself craving long after you leave. Pair them with that marina view—boats swaying, lights reflecting off the water—and you’ve got yourself an unforgettable vibe. Whether you’re here for sunset drinks, a fun night out, or just to enjoy the view, R10 delivers on every level. Great drinks, killer food, and top-tier service—this spot is a South Bay must. Will definitely be back for more!
Looking for an inexpensive bite in Redondo there are limited spots that are actually worth visiting and walking over towards Hermosa beach there are a plethora of options in that range. But this spot has a comfortable and clean layout, very friendly servers and bartenders, and a nice selection of food to choose from on the menu at a fair price. I came in to eat alone as the sun was setting and sat at the window with a lovely view of the pier/dock. Food was tasty, didn’t take too long to come out and a short walk away from numerous pubs if you want a drink after.
The four of us Stopped by the R/10 Social House for lunch after a memorial at the Beach. We took a booth with a view of the Redondo Beach Pier and Marina. It was a warm day and our large booth window was open. A waitress appeared for a drink order. I got into an at length discussion with Amber about the breads that the restaurant had for sandwiches. I ended up getting a Catch of the day Mahi Mahi sandwich. Which was the best cooked Mahi I've had in years. First bite and I couldn't put it down. My niece's had a Royal Burger, and ceviche with truffle fries. Nephew had scallops. Everyone loved their food. I asked a waitress to have the chef to come out so I could compliment him on my mahi sandwich. I guess she thought I was kidding because he didn't come out. As I was leaving I stopped by the same waitress and said I wanted to speak with the chef she said we're very busy and he doesn't have time. Which means she didn't tell the chef anything. There is a bar as well. We would all recommend this restaurant.
Great food and wonderful service! Ryan was our server yet many others on staff constantly checked up on us refilling drinks and kept table tidy all night long. Night’s are starting to get colder so we opted to dine inside since heaters weren’t available outside just yet. We had a beautiful booth overlooking the marina. I would definitely visit again when I come back to this area!
We stopped in on a cloudy colder Saturday a few weeks ago. To our surprise it was packed and full of what seemed well satisfied customers. Upon entering the staff greeted us kindly and promptly. Letting us know the wait time and seemed apologetic about it. It’s no big deal, we can wait for good food and service. There is indoor and outdoor seating. And at the time the outdoor seating was turning over a bit faster than inside. (It was cold remember). Ha I started with a nice “Madeweet” Blonde Beer out Ventura, CA. I enjoyed it and it was beyond smooth. My lady ordered the “DRUNKEN' SHELLFISH” and was in heaven! I went with the “THE CODMOTHER” fish & chips and couldn’t have been happier! Nice and crispy both the Cod and the Fries. Overall we had a great experience and look forward to stopping in to explore the menu further.
This place is very unique in what they serve and how they serve. Besides the stunning view from any table, the attention you get from the staff is unbelievable. Maddy took care of us and our very special occasion tonight. We never expected such an attention from her and Angie, the GM. We left the place with a very special and memorable experience only to revisit shortly. Such places nowadays are far in between and hard to find. Here, there is a toss up between the food they serve and the way they serve.
My partner and I came in around 8 lastnight for just a couple housemade sangrias. We ended up enjoying conversation with the bartender- we appreciated his recommendations, humor and bluntness! He described a drink we were unfamiliar with and generously offered us one to share- the Tiki Torch. This drink was unbelievably good and unique! We’re so happy to have this experience, and would love to come back for more :)
Great service, drinks on point, food was perfect. Had the scallops in a mushroom risotto, and omg, so good. We had a hankering for scallops and the kitchen rocked it. Our Server was informative, recommended a digestif, which we did enjoy. Lastly, had the best boulevardier prepared by the bartender. He let me in on some of his techniques to make it perfect at home, too. I had a fantastic Manhattan, but next time, I am told to try the Sazerac. Great night, stayed till close, met the whole team.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting a bar where David was behind the counter, and I can confidently say he crafted the best whiskey sour I’ve ever experienced. As a connoisseur who has savored this classic cocktail all over the world, I can be quite discerning, but David’s rendition was exceptional. From the moment I ordered, his expertise was evident. He took the time to ask about my preferences and clearly understood the balance of flavors that makes a whiskey sour truly stand out. The whiskey selection was top-notch, and David knew just the right blend to enhance the drink. The cocktail itself was a perfect harmony of sweet and sour, with freshly squeezed lemon juice and a touch of rich, quality syrup. The frothy egg white added a smooth texture that elevated the experience. Each sip was refreshing, with a well-rounded complexity that kept me coming back for more. David’s attention to detail and passion for his craft shone through in every aspect of the drink. If you’re a whiskey sour lover, or just looking for an outstanding cocktail, make sure to seek out David. He has set a new standard that will be hard to beat!
It was that good we went twice on a 3 day trip to Redondo beach. It was a new menu but super nice, full of flavour. Two different shift crews on both days but really welcoming and friendly.
Arrived around 4:30 to watch the sunset. We sat outside with a heater next to us which made the 3 hour stay very comfortable. All the food and drinks were excellent. Service was super attentive by Amber. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and would come back again.
Great food! Scalloppas & pulled pork sandwich were delicious. We had our dog on the patio, staff even brought him water. Wonderful experience! We will be back 😄
Had the Royale with cheese, a fabulous and perfectly cooked Wagyu beef burger. The truffle fries were excellent, too. The staff was super friendly and outgoing to make the experience just amazing.
Stopped by R/10 Social House in Redondo Beach and had a really good time. The restaurant sits right on the marina, so the views are nice, and the space is easy to hang out in. We tried a few things — Peruvian Scallops, Calamari, Spanish Octopus Salad, Portobello & Prawns, and Filet Mignon with Jumbo Shrimp. For me, the Spanish Octopus Salad, Peruvian Scallops, and Portobello & Prawns were the standouts. Everything was well done and flavorful. Drinks were solid, and the overall vibe makes it a comfortable spot to grab a meal and enjoy the view. Worth checking out if you’re in Redondo Beach.
R10 Social house is a lively place right on the waterfront with great food and drinks at reasonable prices. We enjoyed a pre mothers day meal on their patio and had a great experience. The oysters and ceviche starters were both fresh and delicious.. for main courses we enjoyed the octopus over potato salad, the crab stuffed salmon, hanger steak, and last but not least was an amazing crispy chicken sandwich. I have had the fish and chips before, and you can't go wrong there or fish tacos.. there are plenty of options. The drinks are also flowing and there was a private party rocking out inside.. this is a spot you go to have fun and see people and enjoy yourself.. good service, good value, easy parking in the harbor lot, all kinds of cool things to do and see.. R10 has the great location, atmosphere, and drinks but they back it up with darn good food. Come down and visit and you'll be happy you did..
We came across this Restaurant while looking for a place to have lunch at, and decided to try this place out. To our surprise it turned out to be an AMAZING, Sunday afternoon! The Restaurant is very clean, classy and comfortable. The staff was very attentive and personal. The food was delicious, drinks on point, and it was affordable. Bonus on Sunday's from 3pm to 6pm, they have live music upstairs with a spectacular view. Compliments to the Manager Kawehi who went above and beyond EXCELLENT customer service. Looks like we found a new spot.
This was my first time trying this place out as I was on an afternoon walk along the Marina. What initially caught my attention was the "Homemade Sangria $12" sign posted outside their door 😊. So it lured me in lol! I ordered the sangria and calamari appetizer. Both were very good! The staff provided such a friendly authentic, and quality customer service which made me feel comfortable. The bartender who was super awesome, mentioned that there's a live band who does cover songs, later on at night, upstairs. I definitely will return with friends to check out the live band soon.
Our first meal in Redondo Beach, we ended up at R/10 Social House. Jake seated us & was our host for the afternoon & was very knowledgeable with the entire menu. They had a wonderful bar & menu to match. An intimate bar setting that felt rustic, clean & very comfortable. Jake was on his A-Game, doing bartending & serving at the same time. We ordered 6 oysters, on "Oyster Wednesday", and the mignonette was to die for!! I had the Grilled Mahi Mahi bowl, and my husband got the hanger steak. Both were excellent! We highly recommend this place for a great cozy cocktail & bite! All on the docks! Enjoy!
A night out with the family that consisted of long walks along the beach while the princess rode her bike; we worked up an appetite. Trying not to drive around town looking for a spot to eat, we decided to stop at R10 Social House..... And I'm glad we did. There was little to no wait time to be seated (busy night). The staff was friendly and made recommendations on what we should try and what pairs together nicely. I settled for a Pull Pork sandwich with fries & beer and my wife got calamari with a sangria on the side. The food was delicious, fresh and hot. definitely a new go to spot when we are down by Redondo Beach. If you haven't stopped by, you should give this spot a try.
R/10 has the best fish and chips in Redondo Beach. You will just love them. They are not super crispy so if you want that order something else. They are deep fried and there is real cod as the fish and the batter is just yummy. There is nothing not to like about R/10. It has a beautiful location at the Redondo Beach Pier, it is always kept super clean, reservations are seated on time and often you don't need a reservation. It is large with pretty booths and great table and chair seating. Parking for free is nearby or better to just pay the fee and park, you can then walk the pier after. The service is great. The servers know the menu and it is a mighty menu and can guide you. Our server was ever so kind and was very patient with my speech delayed grandson. He got his order right and he made him feel like he mattered. You are never rushed. The food comes pretty fast. They also have the best chowder and we love their sea bass and soul. They even have burgers that are great. We have been a few times now and are just so happy and relaxed to be there. It is never too loud. It is just lovely.
I always love this place and was pleasantly surprised by their NYE party. Our server was absolutely adorable and she stayed on longer than she was supposed to due to 3 call ins (Shilo is her name). I mean her personality was phenomenal! We loved her. However, when she left, service was essentially non-existent. I ordered a drink right before she left and it never came. I had to go to the bar and hunt it down myself. Despite there only being 3 bartenders for 250 people, the bartender was very nice and had a great attitude! We really enjoyed the party and hope that they do it again next year! The only reason for the fewer stars overall is because there was $26 added to my bill. I called my bank to dispute. I was actually shocked and disappointed. I would still go back, I love this location and staff. The gentleman who greeted us had a great attitude as well, he was bombarded by people who walked in, we had a reservation, thankfully!
Popped in here on a whim and were mostly impressed. The food was good - the beet salad was phenomenal, the wings were an interesting take, and the fish and chips uad a nice, thin, cripsy tempura. The cocktails were good. Our server was attentive without being intrusive. The bartender at the start of the meal had an easy demeanor and seemed to know his clientele. The bartender who replaced him seemed angry, kept smashing glasses around which had everyone jumping, and came across as surly at best. She kind of brought the whole atmosphere down unfortunately. Overall really good, just someone having a bad day i suppose. We might come back to try some of the other interesting items on the menu.
Scenic spot to grab decent bar food on the Redondo Beach Pier. They've got a solid beer and cocktail menu. We thought the sandwiches, Pulled Pork and Crispy Chicken, were good but nothing to get excited about. The ambiance of the place is a mixed bag. They have tons of Edison bulb lights but when the sun went down, it was clear that many were either off or burnt out, so they just blasted the can lights at full brightness, so not the relaxed soft lighting to set the mood. Overall, I'd rate it as ok, but it fell short of the potential, given the location.
For Mother's Day we were looking for a dog friendly restaurant in Redondo Beach. We found R/10 Social House. I was hoping for more seafood options. I settled for fish and chips and my daughter's had the fish tacos. The fish and chips were a little over cooked and very greasy. My daughters said that the fish tacos were tasty however they asked for no cilantro and they had a lot of cilantro. The girls had margaritas and they said that they were yummy. The service was not that great. The servers rarely came by to see if we needed anything and they didn't offer any water for the dogs like so many other dog friendly restaurants do. I doubt that we would return next time we're in town.
Last week, my sisters and I had lunch at R10 Social House in Redondo Beach, beautifully located on the pier. Surprisingly, I arrived early—shocker! While waiting, I snacked on truffle fries and enjoyed an R10 Mimosa (Champagne, Grand Marnier, orange juice, and mint). The bartender was friendly and funny, making the wait enjoyable, and he even pronounced my name correctly on the first try! Once everyone arrived, we ordered the Sweet Chili Buffalo Wings (fresno mae ploy, lime, sesame). A nice sweet chili flavor with a subtle hint of heat. Then we ordered lunch. The first plate was Baja Style Fish Tacos (beer-battered, chipotle slaw, cilantro, lime) with regular fries. The second was a Crispy Chicken Sandwich (tender chicken breast, house slaw, red onions, sweet & spicy pickles, bravas aioli, brioche bun) served with truffle fries. Both dishes were hits—my sisters raved about the slaw and enjoyed their meals overall. I ordered the Portobello Mushroom and Prawns (grilled Portobello mushroom, grilled jumbo shrimp, goat cheese, grilled garlic bread, and balsamic reduction). Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The flavors didn’t come together for me—I think it was the combination of blue cheese and balsamic. The shrimps were not really big, and the mushrooms were overcooked. I didn’t eat much of it, but I was the only one unhappy with their meal. Despite my dish, the service was excellent. The bartender was entertaining and attentive, and the location was unbeatable. Overall, I’d recommend R10 Social House for the food, drinks, and service—it’s a great spot to visit!
Started off with the Calamari & Ceviche. I would rate both a 7/10. I ordered the chicken and waffles at first, but the chicken did not appeal to my taste buds and the waffles were too sweet. Instead, i reordered the Crispy Chicken Sandwich. It was very delicious and fulfilling. My table also ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich & the Baja Fish Tacos. Both were rated a 9/10. The scenery was very nice. Overall the experience was okay!
Visited for the first time and I have to say... this spot was enjoyable! I enjoyed my meal and the staff were friendly and accomodating. I did run into an issue with the creamer of my coffee, however, the staff took accountability and provided great alternatives. Defintely suggest to visit! The pancakes were delicious and the bacon was crunchy.
I had the fish sandwich, which was fresh and light Alongside with fries that were cooked properly. I had a vodka and soda drink, which seemed to be very light on the vodka. I also ordered half a dozen oysters on the half shell. The oysters were very meeting and light tasting but refreshing. So I ordered another half-dozen. I think that I probably would have skipped the fish sandwich and just went straight to the oysters next time and had my fill. The staff stayed busy. My waitress was very attentive and kind, and she took the time to communicate with me and not seem like she was in a rush even though the restaurant was very busy. Along with my waitress being attentive. So we're the other waiters and waitresses. They also asked if I needed anything as they were passing by. Only 43 stars is because of my drink and the fish sandwich. With two pieces of fish that were stacked on top of each other that made the sandwich awkward to hold and eat and the pieces were not very big. I ended up leaving one piece of fish on the sandwich and took the other one and put it on the plate and ate it that way.
Must have been an off night. Took a while for menus to be brought, the server took the time to communicate in a polite but efficient way to make sure we could be offloaded from responsibility (at least it felt that way). Food was satisfactory for the price but not impressive. The best part was honestly the company I went with.
Visited here for a small works Dinner, it wasn't a great experience 👎 It was a Tuesday, the place was pretty empty, and yet the Barman who was supposed to be serving our group (of about 25 people) upstairs at our Private Event, kept disappearing👎 We have to repeatedly wait at the Bar for him to come back to serve us 👎 The food was also pretty average, whilst it was well cooked, it was just a very bland, they also made nothing for the Vegetarians in the group (they just had to eat Rice on its own). The location is good, but I don't think I'd go back ☹️
😔E-Bike Friendly spot to ride to, lock up your E-Bike and walk right into pick-up your lunch. I ordered the meal through the Google Maps App. Had the Crispy Chicken Sandwich with Fries. I also paid an extra $4.00 for the pork belly option. But the sandwich didn’t come with a pork belly. I called the restaurant to tell them and it went to a voice mail. Kind of stinks that no one picked up or called me back. Oh well. It might get worked out one day. Next time I order I will be sure to check the order in the bag before I leave. I and ding some photos as well to help with the idea of what the place is like during Lunch.
I am currently here dining. While the food tastes good, this is some of the worst service I have gotten at a restaurant of this caliber. My mom got bottomless mimosas but the waitress kept giving her straight champagne with no orange juice, so we had to ask for it. We asked for no coleslaw on the pulled pork sandwich and it was still included on the sandwich. When sent back, they messily scraped off most of the coleslaw and sent it back, so we had to send it back again and ask for a new sandwich with no coleslaw and coleslaw on the side. Finally, we waited until everyone else in our party was done eating, then we finally received the sandwich and correct mimosa refills. I will not be returning and do not recommend.
I used to be a regular here and I always ordered the Brie chicken. It really was amazing and kept me coming back. But my last time there, the chicken itself was different. It wasn’t the chicken I was used to, it was like a chicken brick in the shape of a rectangle that seemed like it was straight off a Sysco truck and reheated. It was thin and hard and over-cooked. Tasted gross. I think they sold out. Hate to say it but I won’t come back here for the Brie chicken anymore
Management needs to reevaluate their operations. We had to ask twice for water and a high chair, waited 15 minutes to order drinks, and another 30 minutes for milk. Several tables around us had the same issue. For Valentine’s Day, the restaurant seemed understaffed and disorganized despite being only half full at 4 PM. The restroom also needed attention—overflowing trash and wet counters.
Had dinner with family. Royals with cheese burned to the point of bitterness. The other food was good. Waiter was forgetful and tried to upsell on items that we did not want. Also, dropped something on the people sitting next to us. Not a great view as we were seated by the fishing boats in the harbour.
We had dinner at this restaurant and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience overall. The service started off well — our waiter was very kind and attentive, which we appreciated. However, the food did not meet our expectations. The pita bread served with the hummus plate was stale and tasted old. We asked for it to be replaced, and instead of fresh pita, it was simply warmed up to make it slightly more palatable. We were very hungry, so we went ahead and ate it. The hummus and vegetables were good, but that was the only highlight. We ordered two burgers, and both were extremely disappointing. My burger tasted off, like the meat wasn’t fresh — I only managed to eat about 20% of it. The side of grilled vegetables was the only thing I enjoyed. My husband, also very hungry after a long walk, ate most of his burger and immediately regretted it. He ended up being sick all night — vomiting, with a fever and severe stomach pain. One more thing worth noting: while we were dining, a woman (possibly a manager or staff member) came by just as we received our food and asked how things were. Naturally, we said everything was okay because we hadn’t tasted the food yet. The restaurant was mostly empty, and later she stuck around, even overheard our complaints about the burgers, but didn’t check in or offer to help. Instead, she chatted with another table about “wonderful dessert”. A word of advice: if you want honest feedback that can help improve your business, you need to be open to hearing it and responding to it. Otherwise, more customers will walk away with a bad experience like we did. I would definitely avoid this place. We paid for food poisoning meal and we won’t be returning.
I would never recommend this restaurant. My friend and I went for our cute little brunch date. We were so excited! The food was not what we expected. The reviews were great so we decided to go with this restaurant. First of all, food was nasty. The shrimp dish we ordered tasted more like goat than shrimp! After my first bite, I lost my appetite for the whole day! The atmosphere was okay! The food was a hard pass! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!
