Coming from living in Italy for the last 4 years, trying to find coffee that is full of flavor and made correctly was the hard. Then we stumbled across this gem and we are so happy we did. You can even purchase whole beans and have them grind it for you per how you will brew! If you are looking for delicious coffee this should be your spot every time!

Ordered Cafe Latte and sat outside in the patio. Though it was windy, the sunshine felt so good. Latte tasted delicious, and we were happy to sip it while enjoyed the conversation. There is ample parking (street) on the side of the shop though we paid for our street parking. The restroom was huge and very clean (++). I would like to go back there to try their pastries!

I saw this place as I was driving to the beach and decided to stop by. It’s a small coffee shop on PCH and I love the clean minimalistic dark theme they have going on here, it fits this spot just right. The staff was friendly even recommending a few drinks that I feel were great choices. I ordered their Pumpkin spice latte. Tasted great, honestly reminded me of a pumpkin pie. This is by far the best Pumpkin spice latte that isn’t reliant on sugar to make it good.

I was recommended to try Boy & Bear by a friend that lives in the area . After a long walk , I stopped in for a quick pick me up coffee . Interior is really welcoming and open with a nicely displayed merchandise wall. Nice packaging on their products . Coffee menu is short and to the point . One option that grabbed my attention was the sparkling iced americano which I had never tried , and sounded refreshing after a long walk . Grabbed a seat outside and enjoyed a unique and certainly special iced coffee . The roast is not too heavy nor acidic as allot of iced coffees tend to be Great place to stop in

For caffeine free, Edward recommended the Halo Blooming tea which was fun to watch open up from the ball into a flower of its own. A total sensory experience and subtle cup that made me slow down and enjoy it. The ambience is outstanding, with great music and a relaxed crowd.

The Boy & The Bear was a great place to relax and take a break from the heat when I visited Redondo Beach. I liked their commitment to their "black" theme and their willingness to share their café's story. I tried a sparkling iced Americano here. Very interesting concept to try. It was a great choice in the heat but the carbonation covered up coffee flavors. I'd recommend checking this place out if you're looking for a slower pace to your day! 20/25

Great, relaxed atmosphere for a coffee and catch-up with friends and family. Coffee is great - they have pourover options as well as the standard espresso-based drinks.

The quality of the coffee and matcha here is unmatched . However, this is not the place to stop by if you are in a rush or need a quick cup of caffeine. It can take up to 20 minutes or longer (there is usually only 1 barista) to get your drinks. Aesthetic is on point and it’s very cozy but again, you will have to wait quite awhile.

Quality coffee, love that they roast in house as well! The interior is very cozy and great for hanging out or doing work. We got the vanilla & caramel iced lattes with oatmilk.

Cortado on point. Pretty wild a 4 oz espresso drink these days with tip is over $6. Looking forward to our Italy trip. This place is where the eccentric artsy looking pink hair kids go to be cool. Reminds me of late 90s coffee shops. Can definitely taste difference in their local roasted beans.

Five star coffee, and two star experience. Meeting a friend at 7 AM for coffee on a cold California morning, when we ask the staff if they could close the doors they had propped open, they declined. Why would I come to a coffee shop that doesn’t accommodate its dining room space for the guests? The workers were just following the direction of the owner, but the owner wasn’t in the dining room and didn’t feel how cold it was…

okay congrats!!! you guys just lost another customer, some new hire doesn’t know how to make coffee and never made coffee in their lives just ruined a simple americano, its unbelievable how you guys dont vet these people. She drenched the drink with syrup to the point youll have diabtetes and shots came out bad and watered down. I came here 3 days in a row and was like okay cool found my spot, but now im never coming back!!! I didn’t order a chocolate slurpee!!
