We made a reservation for 8 and requested a booth. When we arrived, our table was ready, I was happy to see we were able to get the booth! Andrew was an amazing server. He was very knowledgeable when it came to the menu (including the drink menu). He was very attentive and proactive in serving our table. He stayed on top of ensuring we had everything we needed, including water, beverage, chips, and salsa refills. Andrew was very personable and engaged when he visited the table. Andrew has a great sense of humor. Andrew is the best server I've had in a long time. He made some great table side guacamole. He definitely deserves a raise or a promotion! I can only hope he will be my server the next time I come into town.

We have been dining in this location for 24 years, and today will be the most memorable one of them all. We had the privilege to be served by Andrew W .his personality, his energy, and his service were great, especially his Español it's beautiful to see others embracing other people's cultures . UPDATE Contacted by Regional Mgr Carlos and was asked to try El Torito again. Glad i did. Here's the new review. Started off with yhe Mangonada alcholic drink and the bacon wrapped shrimp with jalepeno strawberry jam. Excellent flavor among the salt, spice and sweetness. The drink was spot on. Entre came out - Dos Vamparios with steak. The flavors were delicious and even added some left over jalapeno jam to take it up a notch. Finished with a fried ice cream dessert. Everything was spot on. Luckily I did not pass on me trying El Torito again. Wanna, the manager, made sure everything was good with me and all of the customers in the restaurant. Excellent service - Caleb, waiter Excellent food and Great scenes from the dock WilI definitely eat here from now on when I visit LA. Thanks again Carlos

Hands down, this is the BEST restaurant!! EVERYTHING we ordered was fresh, homemade, and delicious!!! We had the combination fajitas, Taco plate, fried ice cream, fried banana w/ cheesecake, and 2 mango margaritas! The staff was incredible, and the manager Alex checked on us a few times to make sure everything was great! Oh, and did I mention the views?? We watched Dolphins swimming around most of our time there!

Decent place to grab a bite to eat and a drink. Excellent view and top notch service. The bathroom just ok. The floor was wet and slippery. Still worth a try.

Overall, El Torito has a very traditional Mexican vibe, and the view is absolutely beautiful. The food was really good, and the cocktails were just as enjoyable. The service was great—we went on Sunday, 1/25, and had a very pleasant experience with the staff. A few cons worth noting: there isn’t an elevator, so we had to carry our stroller up the stairs, which was a bit challenging. The large booth seating could definitely use an update—the cushions were worn, clumpy, and had noticeable dips. The bathroom also felt outdated. That said, none of these things were deal-breakers. Overall, it was a nice experience, and I would definitely come back.

I ordered the chicken enchiladas, the sauce seemed like it was out of a can. I like the corn cake that was added to the plate, the rice and beans were good too. My husband ordered the fajitas, he said the shrimp tasted like Chinese food style shrimp. My kids got a burger and pizza, they enjoyed their food. I love the view from here. Next time I will order something else. The jalapeño cucumber margarita is good. The service was good too. Overall I recommend you going, but don’t order the enchiladas.

Stunning views with huge windows overlooking the beach & ocean. Complimentary salsa & chips which is a nice welcome. I had a salad & added on chicken. Good food but not wow. Tried a Mojito flight which was great value & fun to try the different flavors. They have a good happy but was for bar area only and I wanted to sit and enjoy those views! Was pretty quiet but it was during the week before 5 so hopefully it's busier later. Definitely will return again.

Good spot along the redonda beach pier. Service is quick, amicable staff. View of the beach is fantastic, food is good and an okay selection of food and drinks. Tamal was moist, meat was good in the enchilada too. The Parking available at the garage or nearby lot parking. Happy hour is only located at the bar.

My last visit was not great there is never anyone in the front to greet I ways have to wait about 6 minutes before they notice people are there. they seem to be short staffed and 1 person was responsible for everyone things were missed orders were wrong and we even received someone else bill. It took 2 hrs to get seated. Our server gave us watered down orange juice twice and only gave us forks to eat. We came in for brunch and most of the food was no longer fresh. Cold and old. My husband was very disappointing and he usually he loves this place. We usually go to the one in Torrance and first time visiting redondo Beach. The atmosphere isn’t very welcoming. The girl up front was a bit rude but I brushed it off. I figured she’s busy and annoyed but then again doesn’t need to be rude. Our waitress didn’t even tell us she was leaving on her break and had to hound down someone else for drinks. My husband said this is the last time he ever comes here and couldn’t even enjoy his breakfast in peace. A lot of children running around too and kicking ur seats which was the last for me to be honest. The chicken tamales were a fail , the Mexican bread was hard as stone and my husband tacos were full of fat and no meat.
