Opinions de Bagel Street Cafe Redwood City
Man I love this place. I found it on a work trip and I keep going back. Their bagel supreme gives you two meats plus egg and cheese, which makes for a bigger sandwich. And they have lots of bagel flavors to choose from. I recommend the jalepenño popper. Service is fast and friendly.
I lived half a mile away for 2 years and came here every weekend. Then, I moved away and compared every single breakfast sandwich to Bagel Street and they all failed. I finally came back to visit after being gone for 3 years and not only did the owner remember me but the croissant sandwich was even better than I had dreamt about all these years.
I've grown to adore this place due to its proximity to our office and the consistently fresh and delicious bagels! If you're in search of delightful bagels, I highly recommend giving this spot a try. It's conveniently located in The Marketplace at Redwood Shores shopping mall.
Was craving a sandwich they give you options from a bagel or a loaf on any protein from the menu. My sandwich was a turkey club on a jalapeño bagel and it was so delicious.
Clean, bagels were fresh and quick service. Great seating area as well
Hands down one of the best bagel places in the Bay Area! The noval lox on Asiago bagel is superb!

I've been to this place a few times now. I've been to a few of their other chains, and I can not complain. Bagels are amazing and fresh. Service, fast and friendly. This place is a lot bigger on the inside, definitely has lots of seating to accommodate a party. The store was simply decorated and clean. I tried the Vietnamese coffee to go with my bagel, and it was fresh and strong. It didn't taste like the pre-made stuff at other places. I always have a weakness for the pre- packaged goods they have at the counter where you place your order. Banana bread and almond cookies are a solid choice. I come here for breakfast sandwiches, but I always make sure to order a pizza bagel for lunch. You can pick any bagel and any toppings your heart desires. I typically go for plain bagels with pepperoni and cheese.
This place was epic. Fast, delicious, and fresh. I had the eggwich supreme and my partner had the eggwich delux. He got a coffee of which there were many selections, and I had a small soda. The total was $28 and change.
Fantastic bagels, great schmears and fast. Only had sandwiches a couple times but they were good. This place could probably survive in NY, but I'm happy they're here! Quite a few coffee flavors and pretty good for urn coffee.
Nice bagel shop. Service is usually quick and they offer flavored cream cheese spreads and various breakfast options.
The bagels were incredibly fresh—crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside, just the way they should be. What really stood out was the wide selection of bagels and spreads. The variety of cream cheeses and other spreads is just as impressive—perfect for mixing and matching. Definitely a must-visit for any bagel lover!
This is our go-to sandwich and bagel spot!! The staff is SO welcoming, kind, and efficient, and their sandwiches (we love any of them on a dutch crunch roll) are SO tasty! We'd give them 10 stars if we could, they're really the best -- and their sandwiches are reasonably priced for the area. Can't recommend them enough!
Great small family owned and run bagel cafe. The bagels are fresh as can be, have a large variety and are reasonably price. They are the best and freshest bagels on the Peninsula. My wife and I love the lox cream cheese combo bagel. They don’t skimp on cream cheese, unlike Noah’s, served warm with great smells of the topping. Very nice outdoor patio to enjoy your brunch. They also have a variety of meat bagel sandwiches to choose from Al top notch and carefully made.

Wow! I ordered a chicken ceaser salad and a salami sandwich on a loaf. My gawd, salad was delicious fresh croutons, chicken was great and sauce was just right. Then to top it off the salami sandwich was ima immaculate! Just the right amount of everything on it. First time and can’t be my last time here. Staff was also amazing. (Typically I don’t review but this place deserved it!!)

Had the pesto lox bagel, its was really good! Fast service
Employees wore masks, which as an Immunocompromised customer, I appreciate it. They have a vast variety of bagel flavors including chocolate chip. I got an everything bagel toasted with lox. It was actually really good — and I mean NY bagel good. I think it’s the best bagel I’ve had in California. Was impressed. I knocked off a star because the coffee is like 7-11 coffee where customers fill their cups themselves and it had been sitting out so it was lukewarm. I did like that they had different flavors like French vanilla and hazelnut. No stevia though. Would definitely return for the bagels. They’re the real deal. Ample parking in the lot.
We had the veggie eggwich with spinach bagel. The bagel itself was awesome, but the egg filling was a bit under seasoned. Cream cheese was good too. The place is unassuming and has a relaxed atmoshpere

Bagels are tasty but small and expensive. The lox was good enough but again the sandwich was pricey for the amount of bagel and lox you’re getting. It’s the only bagel spot around so it’s got us hooked there. Two bagels (only one lox) cost me $16 and change.

I was disappointed in this place. I think it's good if you just want coffee and a quick bite, but it's not good if you're seeking a nice breakfast meal with bagels. They don't have a grill, so everything is pre-cooked and heated in a microwave. The microwaved eggs in my bagel sandwich were quite flavorless. The bacon was really thin and cheap. On a more subjective note, I think the bagels have too much air in them, since mine got really flat as I was eating my sandwich.
Bagel was ok nothing special. They were busy but no one seems too thrilled to help you. I thought it was kinda expensive for the quality of food

Do NOT go to this place if you want to avoid getting scammed! I ordered a bagel with cream cheese and bacon, along with two sandwiches with almost everything on them, nothing left out or added. I was surprised to see that it cost $30 when I got home! They never gave me a receipt, and I was in a rush at the time, but this is just unacceptable. When I went back a few days later and ordered the exact same thing, it cost $32! Way more than the previous time. This time, I checked with the cashier to get the receipt, and he gave me a receipt with only the total price, not the individual prices of each item. When I called him out, he was very confused and taken aback as if he didn’t know what he was doing. Very sly and criminal behavior—this place is such a scam! Their machines are sketchy, and their food is not worth your money. As a matter of fact, there was a literal fly in one of our sandwiches! As much as I love to give this restaurant the benefit of the doubt, messing up and scamming people on multiple occasions is just not acceptable. Before you leave the store, make sure you are charged exactly what they have posted on the board. They love up-charging you with hidden fees not listed on the menu hence taking your money—those greedy pigs. This is some illegal business practice, and I will never be returning!
