Clean Restaurant Excellent Customer Service. This location appears that has step the bars up on "customer service." Food typical high concentrated cholesterol unhealthy McDonlads foods aka "Junk Food" way togo though with your customer service improvement. 😍

The fries were hot, crispy and perfectly salted. The drive through was quick and the staff was friendly. A post drive through parking space to enjoy my meal in shame would have been nice but the red lights on El Camino Real sufficed.

This place is my one the favorite McDonald's so far in the bay area. The staffs are very courteous and friendly. I have been there many times, once we tried drrive through but it was pretty long line so took little longer to get our order out other than that I am always satisfied with the dine in visiting to this place. My favorite smoothies were mango one. Buttermilk crispy chicken was our fav thing to get for the fast food. This place is always clean. You wont be disappoint with this place. Try it out... Recommended to everyone.

I will not stop at any other Mc Donald around for the 3 five star reasons, manger is always pleasant and helps the staff to make sure everything is flawles .

Among the many dozen McD's I've been to in my 55 years, this location seems to always have the best Filet-O-Fish sandwiches. Double cheese slices and just the right amount of tartar sauce. Yummy!

The other day I went in and got a large order when I was driving out I realized that my 20 piece nuggets we're not in the bag so I thought. I went back around and the staff quickly took care of me and gave me another 20 piece nuggets as I look through the bags I realized that they were there. they were at the bottom so I went back around and paid for the ones that they had given me but I just want to say thank you for being an awesome team and for not asking questions and taking care of me .

Went through drive thru for deserts. We all ordered ice creams; food was OK but they skimped on the portions, dishes were only half full.

Drive thru order was quick and accurately delivered. They do not take Discover and they forgot the napkins but. . .

It is McDonald's fast food. That said, this location is remarkably better than Belmont. Service with a smile, and clean all around.

Above average standard McDonalds with reasonable cleanliness. Fountain drinks and condiments are available in the dining area. Reasonably fast delivery of food post ordering. Supports mobile and drive-thru. No kids play area though.

Good: consistant coffee, clean, crew much improved. Bad: wrong burger, wrong salad dressing, forgot $13 change and ice cream machine breaks down. Will return.

One thing I like about this place is it's very affordable. Sometimes though it's a hit or miss when it comes to food freshness. When I get lucky I will get fresh from the "oven" food other times it's very stale.

The new crispy chicken sandwich is delicious. The best I’ve had. I now look forward to taking the kids (so I can get my crispy chicken).

Breakfast is always way overpriced. If oranges didn't grow on trees then I could see why it's so expensive. But they are. And the juice is made from concentrate. But it could be worse. You could be eating at burger king

For this one in San Carlos, the person who was reliable and taking my drive-thru order and the board did show my order correctly plus it was fun to see as well. It's good but not great-it was a little bit of a struggle, but everything went well in the end for this visit.

I came in for some food at 3 in the afternoon and was wonderfully surprised; everything tasted amazingly fresh. The fries and chicken nuggets were crispy and piping hot. The quarter pounder was hot, delicious and juicy. The only disappointing item was the peppermint mocha that was 80% ice and I observed them topping it off with more ice after they put the drink in; which is a first for me.

I was short on time. I was going to go through the drive thru but there was a long line. I went inside ordered used the restroom and when I came back out my food was ready. Restroom was very clean and had that clean smell. I had a Big Mac Jr. that is awesome! My fries were fresh and hot. I worked at McDonald's in highschool and said they needed a smaller version of the big Mac then. I even made my own version when I worked there many moons ago.

Convenient location and friendly staff. Be sure to order using the MacDonald's app or a kiosk as there is not necessarily someone at the counter to take your order.

For breakfast, the drive thru is quick, convenient, not too crowded. Staff is friendly. They recently remodeled to the new store standard with the kiosks for ordering. Since it is a smaller store, there's only 1, but it works great. It feels roomier inside with nicer seating as well. They even have a lower table and seats that's perfect for when you bring kids. Bonus...They have McFlurry machines that work!

Only reason I didn't rate more highly is that I only ordered two large coffees to go. But order was filled promptly, price was about 10% lower than other franchises I have visited, lot was large and accessible, and staff was prompt and polite. If I visit again, I will re-review.

McDonald's, a little outdated, in comparison to others I have been to recently. Food was ready instantly, felt some what fresh. Fries were cold though. The restaurant was a little empty so maybe that's why.

Flavor always on point, but it’s sad when go thru drive thru, ask for a big breakfast, they ask if you want the hotcakes so you say sure why not, and they give you half portions of everything EXCEPT the hotcakes for which no syrup was provided, but don’t worry there’s extra butter!!! 3 stars is generous, I’ll give them another chance

Well, it tasted as good as McDonald's could taste. Staff was pretty much mute and just threw food at me as I sat in my car. I have to say I didn't mind it much, but I usually like a little sass when im being treated like a dog. Anyways, food was McDonald's average. Make of that what you will!

It was clean and orderly as they all are. The woman at the counter was cordial and knowledgeable. I found it odd that they have a 30 minute time limit for you to eat your food. I know that in our area they have social groups that meet for meals. I guess they don't want that business.

It is newly remodeled and very clean inside. They went to a self serve touchscreen ordering system that is soooooo opposite of ordering by number. Takes a while for people to make an order and you just wait in line. Then they got half the order wrong when they brought it. Don’t get the switch...

Typical McD's but most of the staff are very nice. One thing I'll mention, which you can decide for yourself whether it is a positive or negative. The music here is always (always) 60's Motown. A little odd considering the clientele are mostly LatinX and Asians.

I ordered a large coffee with 4 creamer containers on the side along with food. I get back only to find no cream or stir stick. This make the coffee undeniable and going back the distance for cream is not worth the hassle. This same situation has happened the last 3 orders!!! Will not go through drive through here.

Eight minutes to get through the drive-thru and there were only two cars in line, including me. So much for "fast" food.

My crispy chicken sandwich was almost burned including the dry bun. Only condiment two single pickles and no sauce to be found. Fries and drink were ok. Will not be coming back to this restaurant.

This McDonald's is a not a crowd pleaser. I mean, which one is. They do have plenty of parking, the usual drive-through lane, and a fairly sized kids playground. Of all the unhealthy choices on their menu, the McChicken ($1) is probably the healthiest. These $1 deals are too tempting...

Like at many other McDonalds locations, you will occasionally get lied to when you order decaf coffee and get a regular instead presented at decaf. Tell your employees this isnt acceptable.

I found their service to be so lackluster, I did curbside pickup and had to wait so long I ended up going inside and even then they weren't ready. This has happened multiple times. I much prefer the Belmont location.

Dine in customers should avoid this place if they need to use the restrooms, which are locked or out of order more often than not. If they are really out of order where do the employees go if they are seemingly almost always out of order? And I have to wonder aren't there any plumbers in San Carlos? Use seems to be restricted to employees, although California law specifically requires dine in restaurants to provide restrooms for public use. They can be locked to regulate access to paying customers, but access must be provided upon request. If they work well enough for employees they must be accessible to paying customers.

The staff here is friendly. The food is fine. But remember to reserve enough time for the order to be filled.

Ordered a Sundae and a mcflurry only received a mcflurry and at the bottom of the mcflurry was a piece of rubber, what looked like was a broken off piece from somewhere of the machine. Unsatisfied.

I placed a mobile order before 11pm and was charged, and later arrived at 11:03pm. The drive-thru staff said they are closed and cannot fulfill my mobile order. They never refunded my money.

The most poorly run MCD. The staff is clueless and you can't even understand them. Service is poor across the board. It is run like a clown show. Go a mile up the road to the one in Belmont. It is 10x better.

This location the employees are awful to busy talking to each other while you stand at counter. They just look at you and keep talking. Then they get your order wrong 3 times I paid for bacon on my burger got home there was no Bacon. I call them the phone does not get answered. Nothing like seeing an employee hanging out by the door smoking a cigarette as a way to greet customers. Why would I want to buy food from someone who has been hanging out smoking. Smoke away if you want to, I just don’t think that employees should be smoking right by the entrance as you go in. Ick and double ick!

The absolute worst customer service ever !!! DO NOT USE THIS MCDONALD’S !!!! I thought for ease and connivance being heavily pregnant I would use their curb side order service . I placed the order at home and made my way to the branch - checking in at 6.37pm - I sat for approximately 15 minutes in my car still no order !!! So I proceeded into the restaurant, and they hadn’t even prepared it !!!!!! Why offer a service if you cannot full fill a simple task !!! The order amount was $29 so I asked for a refund , only to be told “Why didn’t you ask before” hello who’s the customer !!! That should be a natural instinct of the server to apply considering the sheer inconvenience I’ve been though - only given $10 refund , lack of customer service !!!! I can see why they work at McDonald’s as clearly they would not get a job anywhere else !!!!!

The McDonald's was under construction so only the drive through was open. Which was fine. However, after we ordered, paid, and got up to the front window, they asked us to wait "2 minutes" in the parking lot. We had to wait over 20 minutes for our food to come out. Also, the 4-5 cars that came after us for there did before us.

Made me wait 34 minutes out front for 1 item, terrible service, employees were rude and dismissive.

The restaurant was closed but the drive through was open so my friends and I tried to order from there. It was 6pm and we were just 3 guys trying to get some big mac's and the cashier said we had to be in a car to order! When we asked her to explain why she just ignored us and beckoned the car behind to drive into us while we were still at the kiosk!

they have went to a self order touch screen system to place an order. Then if you pay cash. You get a receipt and have to talk to a human. . Which is stupid. . Should have kept a human to place an order. . We've also updated the seating area where you sit and eat your food. . It looks like a high school cafeteria. Round tables That look cheap. . Cheap plastic chairs. Very few Bruce. With the tables way too low for my standards at least.

Horrible service from a lazy worker. Asked me for my order as soon as I walked in, I asked her to give me a minute as I looked over the menu. As I told her I was ready to order she replied "now, you can use the self serve order. I replied "no you can take my order. She replied "then you wait" very rudely. Needless to say I walked out. I will be complaining to McDonald's corp.

Went to the drive-thru just after 9pm and the lady working didn’t seem to speak any English. After a few moments a man came over the speaker and he spoke a tad more English and finally answered my question: do you offer the advertised deals at this location (2 for $6) and the answer was no. They don’t participate in any promotions.

Order 1 drink for curb side pick up with the app. Waited 15 minutes after the pick up time. Went inside the store and a staff member asked a manager to help. She came over and ask me what I want and I told her I have an order. Didn't bother asking me what it was and she started charging with another employee who just walked in. 10 minutes later, after she's finished with her socializing, she asked me what I ordered. I told her it was a frozen Coke. Took 45 seconds to make (dispense) and I finally got it. Very disappointed service since there was absolutely 0 customer in the restaurant (Sunday evening @ 6) and the work takes 45 seconds. They are lazy enough that they don't want to complete an order that would only take 45 seconds to complete. Worst McD in the Bay Area.

The food was unpleasant even though it is a fast food restaurant. Not sure if I was expecting too much but the burger was very sloppily put together with half of the ingredients out of the buns. Seems like the employee was having a bad day - but why should the customer have to pay the price? After all, I paid for the burger, not for the employees bad attitude. Do better McD's!

In the drive-thru, they messed up my drink order, downsized it when it was a large. Had it fixed. Waited in the drive-thru parking for our food, also messed up the food. So, I went inside for them to fix it. Another gentleman in front of me had his drink messed up as well, he left and came back since they forgot one of his food items. The ladies that were working there remade my order, the cheese was cold so the sandwich was too. Overall, very unorganized working coming from someone who was a fast food worker previously.

Unfortunately my order was not perfect I ordered a Sprite with my meal I was taking a quick lunch break while I was doing deliveries I got several miles down the road before I tried my Sprite and surprise it was water so I had to drive all the way back to get this corrected which took several minutes and gas out of my time and money out of my pocket for the gas I spent. I decided I wanted to coffee for my inconvenience but I had to stand there and wait an additional 12 - 13 minutes before my order came up I have a copy of the receipt if you'd like to see it and there's a timestamp on the picture. I think maybe the person running the sodas needs an easier job I understand mistakes happen but to have to stand there and wait several minutes to get placement was ridiculous!
