My first time here, and of course my first taste is their Sruce Willis IPA. They have 6 cask ales on rotation...amazing! I had the Andoulle and knockwurst with mashed potatoes and coleslaw. Delicious!!! One of my top picks....ok I just googled them, but nevertheless a great place!!! Say hi to PJ at the bar.

Freewheel Brewery is an absolute gem! The beer selection is excellent, with fresh, well-crafted brews that are both flavorful and easy to enjoy. Their happy hour is one of the best around—great deals, relaxed vibes, and a perfect place to wind down after work. The atmosphere is welcoming, clean, and comfortable, making it easy to hang out with friends or just enjoy a pint on your own. Another huge plus is the free and plentiful parking—something you don’t always get in Palo Alto, which makes coming here stress-free. If you’re looking for great beer, a good happy hour, and a spot that’s easy to get to, Freewheel Brewery is the place to be. Highly recommend! 🍻

Very chill brewery with a great selection of unique beers you won’t find anywhere else. They also have live music and a spacious outdoor patio that’s perfect for relaxing in the sun. The food is great as well. I recommend the teriyaki burger and the Chicken Caesar wrap

Neighborhood gem. Great service, options, generous portions, and tasty food. We had the Cesar Salad with Chicken, Fish & Chips (children’s portion), and homemade crisps! Games are available too. Family friendly place!

It's my first time coming here. Lots of free parking available. This place is family - and dog friendly. They have a patio and indoor seating. Food is available, but I came here for the beers. There are lots of beers on tap. I got their 6-beer flight. It had many flights thru these years (see my reviews), but I never had a flight that liking every single beer. This flight, without exaggeration, had delicious beers.. My beertender, Matt was amazing! There were different parties of big groups when I came in, but this guy handled the long lines like a pro. Well done, Matt!

Plenty of CASK beers on tap served at the right temperature. If Cask beers are your thing this place is the place for you. They also had 2 nitro beers, one dark and one barrel aged guest tap. Getting a flight was more than worth it so I could try a few extras. Food/beer is ordered up front and if you order food you’ll get a buzzer for pick up which is much better than number systems at other breweries. We got the shrimp and chips which was different but they were very good and I can’t believe more restaurants don’t do it. Their bangers and potato’s were the other special and the guys liked those quite a bit. The wrap was also very hearty and filling. Fantastic brewery with great food and great beer

Large patio with a good amount of shade. It is shared with the neighboring storefronts. Patio is dog friendly. Strip mall tyoe area so there is a decent amount of people tarffic. Had 3 casks available when we were there which was a nice change from the standard IPA selection of the area.

Fantastic friendly little brewpub specializing in English-style cask beers. The food has always been good too, my favorites are the buffalo chicken sandwich and the pulled pork. The cask beers are relatively modest in their alcohol and carbonation levels, but quite tasty... which makes them totally slamable (sessionable). Big-V Amber, Wenlock Stout, and their Brewster's Pale Ale are my favorites, all malt-driven and just silky smooth out of the cask. Shared outdoor seating is a plus, and they routinely have live music and even comedians sometimes, despite being kind of small and cozy. Love this place, and love their contribution to the thriving local beer scene. Update after two years of fun: Everything still rocks about this place, but one thing I forgot to mention... they sell sixth kegs of most of their excellent beers, for those of us with kegerators. Yes, local top notch quality microbrew kegs for home. Only brewery around that I found would sell me a keg. Got me through the shutdown! Back again, live rock music out front, they're still crushing it here.

Really liked their Double IPA and Oktoberfest beers. Plus the flight for $13 is a great value for the amount of beer. The turkey burger is absolutely delicious, one of the best I've had. Has a great turkey flavor, unlike most turkey burgers that you can barely tell you're eating turkey.

Their food service is really slow. And, too much salt in it. I know salty food increases beer consumption and every shop is doing that. There is still an upper limit. Their food is definitely exceed the limit. I feel I need dialysis after eating their food.

I know the place is under new owners. I ordered 11 Chicken Bacon Club Wraps yesterday as a major thank you for my staff working so hard as a reward. They had them before and were excited. I saw the cook was not putting any dressing/sauce on them and asked he said the ketchup is on my side to put on. He never adding anything. I less upset about losing $250 on wasted food but more upset that my department at the hospital was let down on the reward and missed meal
