Nice and friendly place. It was clean. Our food was made to order, served quickly and was delicious. Highly recommend it. They have large picture of the founders dog with the inscription "Our Founder". The dog was well loved by the founder. It was very pleasant to have that kind of relaxed experience.

YUM!!! I had the lemon raspberry ricotta pancakes and they were so good! The hashbrowns were my favorite though. It was a birthday breakfast and they even sang and brought a yogurt parfait as a surprise treat!

Delicious! Has the GF Belgian waffle, and it was fluffy and delicious. Came with hot syrup and warm butter. Chicken tenders also quality. Service was fast and friendly. Also had the green goddess smoothie which was not what I expected it to be, kind of grainy and not super creamy, as if it could’ve been blended more but still good flavor wise. Would definitely return!

This is my favorite place to go for amazing omelettes and humongous pancakes! I love coming here with the family and enjoying a delicious breakfast. Very happy with portion sizes and taste. Even though it gets hectic in here at times because of the crowds, the servers do a good job for keeping up on the tables.

Ordered to go. Gluten free for my husband, who has celiac, and the woman who helped me when I picked up the order was great. They are very knowledgeable and said they took all allergens very seriously there.

Great food, staff, and experience. My friend and I ended up ordering 2 omelets and a stack of oreo pancakes and it was PLENTY of food for the both of us! Every bite was delicious as the first and unlimited coffee was icing on the cake. Waiting staff was very friendly and accommodating. They offer both inside and out door seating. Prices are very fair and quality of food and service were exceptional! Will definitely visit again when in CA again!

For the diner price range, Stacks definitely stands above all its competitors. It doesn't come across haughty but also it ain't so run down like an IHOP or Dennys. The sausages are "real" and not some cardboard masquerading as protein. The pancakes carry real fruits and fluffiness. And coffee was above average. Combine decent food at a great price with awesome friendly service and you've got yourself a fantastic brunch spot. Go early because lines build up fast.

Had an awesome second visit too! The Oreo pancakes with whipped cream and a side order of fresh strawberries was just delicious! A shout out to Karla at the desk she was just awesome, happy and hardworking! 🙋👌👏 Had a great first experience at Stacks! Supernice and serviceminded staff and great white chocolate and strawberry pancakes!

I love going to Stacks for brunch. I often take out of town guests here because of the large menu. You can get lunch or breakfast. I also bring my dogs here in the summer and sit outside in the outdoor seating. Staff is always great too.

I love Stacks, been here quite a few times, everyone is always so nice. Back in the 1960s, it used to be a place called Golden West Pancakes. The Redwood City location was the very first one. It opened in 1962 and served the community for many years. The building hasn’t changed structurally but has obviously been remodeled since Stacks opened here. Golden West Pancakes was a chain of restaurants that existed in the Bay Area from 1962 through the late 1990s.

If you haven't tried Stack's Bacon Bloody Mary, just do it. Two perfectly cooked slices of bacon and a delicious cocktail! I coupled my drink and coffee with a huge open-face breakfast sandwich on English muffin. Ask for a side of hollandaise sauce to add some flavor to the muffin. You won't be disappointed. To top it off, the bacon is too die for. Great service, friendly staff, nice and clean.

T

Great food! Their omelettes can be scrambles or skillets, plus they have many other great choices on the menu. The pancakes are delicious. The wait in Redwood City wasn't bad on a Saturday morning, even for indoors, and they had outdoor seating with good heaters.

Deeelish!! We ordered the seafood Benedict and bacon/ham omelet. All I can say is yummy. The seafood was fresh and egg poached perfectly. The béarnaise sauce was liquid gold. My daughter ordered the omelet and said it was soooooo good! The best omelet she's ever had and the bacon ham cheese ratio was on point! No pic of the omelet...it was that good

Get there around 11 before the rush comes. Great service. A pot of coffee and a pitcher of water on every table, beats chasing down a server just for this. Definitely a plus. It’s the little things. Oh, breakfast was delicious. No complaints.

Glad I made the stop here while in town. The chilaquiles were the bomb and I just had to try pancakes based off the name. The banana, macadamia, and coconut pancake was so yummy. Staff was friendly and very attentive. Will be back soon!

Excellent place for brunch . we were 4 plus one child went to this restaurant with out any reservation. We all eat eggs but not meat fish or chicken there was big waiting for to be seated . we were told 20 minutes and good thing is they ask you no of people and accordingly call when the table is vacant. There was good coffee at the entrance you can enjoy . we were called and were given a 4 seater and high chair with crayon and drawing sheet was ready for the baby . The server was Jacqueline. she was excellent took orders patiently and keep checking with us on and off whether we are doing good . we ordered Pan cake in the shape of 1) mickey for my granddaughter , 2) Rancho burrito, 3)single Meyer lemon ricotta ras pan cake- 4)choco divine wafel-filled with semi-sweet chocolate chips, topped with fresh whipped cream, and ground Ghirardelli 5)calif spicy veg omelette with bagel- Artichoke hearts,Jalapeno, avocado, cheddar Jack cheese 6)feta omelette no bagel+fruit-Feta cheese baby spinach scallions, tomato 7)veggie skillet scramble - Potatoes covered with cheddar Jack cheese All the items were given with Potatoes . The omelette we ordered were ver well done and it was tasty . the pancake and waffle was yummy , it was nice idea to have Micky pan cake so that children can enjoy though my grand daughter was too young (18 months ) she enjoyed so also all of us . special Thanks to Jacqueline who was serving was very good and showed excellent hospitality. when i come to USA

I've been here twice and both times we got some awesome breakfast food! Their pancakes are their signature meal and you will definitely feel full from a full stack! We also have had their breakfast skillets and these are fantastic if you want a more hearty savory breakfast. As far as drinks go I would definitely get hot chocolate, they have the really good machines for it.

Stacks has become a staple for me when I travel to the Bay Area. It is conveniently located across the hotel I frequently stay at and there is hardly ever a wait when I go. The food is absolutely delicious with tons of options for breakfast lovers.

I came down to the Carol Doda Center for the Preforming Arts in Redwood City for the Clam Wiggler's Convention, and to vote for my favorite nominee..Stink Finger McGoo. After the votes are tallied the appointment to this year's Golden Finger Award, and a custom fitted latex glove will be presented with much fanfare and Jubilee to our new Supreme Leader! It was quite a show, and an amazing experience, that's for sure ...But, not as amazing as the breakfast I had at Stacks Redwood City Restaurant! It was truly a spectacular breakfast and well worth the trip! 5 ☆☆☆☆☆

Great food served quickly. Bacon Avocado onelette is my go-to and it never disappoints. Order a cup of coffee, and you get a full carafe on the side for your dining pleasure. Shredded hash browns with onions are fantastic. I recommend any time you need a nice breakfast or lunch!

I ordered corned beef hash for breakfast and got real corned beef hash. Other places serve the mushy canned version. Waitress also checked if I wanted refills for my drink. I will come back whenever I'm in the area.

This is the first time eating at Stacks in Redwood City! I've been to Stack's in SF many years ago. There is a free parking lot with tight parking. I was able to find parking around 945am on a Saturday. There was out seating options but we ate inside. Service was prompt and excellent. The menu was extensive and lots of options for everyone with different dietary needs and restrictions. We ordered the Mexican omelet, sausage skillet, and two lattes. Everything came quickly and we found the portions generous. The food was tasty and not greasy. I recommend coming here for breakfast, brunch or lunch!

Luis should absolutely be voted the number one employee at this restaurant! I’ve been coming here for over five, maybe even ten years, and I’ve never encountered a waiter as kind, attentive, and genuinely willing to help as Luis. He goes above and beyond to make every dining experience exceptional, and his kindness leaves a lasting impression. I truly hope the owner reads this review and seriously considers making Luis the Employee of the Year—he more than deserves it. If you’re lucky enough to have Luis as your server, you’ll immediately understand what I mean. And if you’re planning to visit this restaurant, do yourself a favor and request Luis. He’s a standout, and he elevates the entire experience! Thank you, Luis, for making every visit memorable.

Vegan options are available! My boyfriend (omnivore) and myself (vegan) at here and it was amazing. WHAT I ATE I had a vegan burrito, they offer a vegan mexican omelette that you can order as a scramble, so I asked for it as a burrito and there was no trouble whatsoever! The burrito came with vegan sour cream and some green salsa on top. Inside it had vegan egg, vegan beef, vegan cheddar, avocado chunks, and salsa. On my vegan breakfast burrito rating, I give it a 9/10. It was delicious. Flavorful and it hit the SPOT! The hash browns were good, they were more soft than crispy. I like mine crispy but they were still good. VEGAN OPTIONS They have a whole plant based menu section with plenty of options, I was looking around and feel like there’s ways to make other items vegan such as the french toast and would recommend that to Stacks! SERVICE The service was friendly and fast. We ate here at noon on a Tuesday so we got seated very quickly. The service was perfect, they had great timing with taking our order and the food came out really fast. Which is the best when you’re starving. NOTE TO THE OWNER Thank you for the delicious meal! It was our first breakfast back in the states after two weeks in Italy so it literally hit all the bases. It would be great to have to option to order some vegan pancakes or Belgian waffles (as it says on the menu they are only vegetarian).

Amazingggg. Staff was great and food came out super fast. Also so nice enough to make me French toast without cinnamon. I've never gotten to eat French toast before due to my cinnamon allergy and they were so great to make a fresh batter without cinnamon. Super yummy!!!

We had no issues with the food or service we received. We were not "impressed" with anything, but we were happy to have gone there, twice. The food and prices were really reasonable and if we are in the area again, we'll go back.

S

Food - great but little pricey for the qty received. For example - 2 mid size pancakes are for around 15$ , I would suggest it should be around 10 to 11$. Although maple syrup is on the table, they charge additional $, so not sure what's the difference between the one on table vs what they get from inside. No shakes, only smoothies

L
Logan Thomsen

A solid 4. Decent food, friendly staff, but high prices even for an American style breakfast place. The atmosphere was welcoming and the restaurant was warm and perfect for a morning start. Going along with this was their smooth cup of coffee, the most vital part of eating breakfast out. I would definitely go again, but will try out something else on their pretty large menu. Also they need a build your own pancake breakfast option.

Reviews are mixed, as with today's breakfast. Ordered Wheat Germ pancake and a Short Stack of Lumberjack Pancakes (my favorite, and the reason for visiting Stacks). Portion sizes have definitely shrunk since the last time I was here (pre-Covid). Pancakes used to be plate sized, so I always have one of the 2 pancakes put in a To Go box for tomorrow's breakfast. Today's pancake was perhaps 3/4 or less of what used to be served. A side order of 2 eggs were served cold, probably due to kitchen timing, waiting on pancakes to get done, but that's really not an excuse for a better restaurant. That's what heating lamps are for. Service wise, we were seated promptly, and all waiter timings were 'typical', no delays.....and, our waiter DID get our order correct. 4 Stars, one off due to cold food and reduced portion sizes. Although we don't order Mexican style breakfast, I'll agree with another reviewer that today's menu is Mexican style heavy, and used to have more American style breakfast choices.

Stacks is a traditional diner. The restaurant and restroom was neat and clean. The food preparation areas were organized and clean. The staff was courteous, attentive and prompt. I chose the sausage omelette. It was large and well-cooked but noticably salty. The sourdough toast was great. Overall, this is a good place to get breakfast. Just be aware the food is traditional diner food, meaning salt, fat and grease are in big supply

The service was great! The food is so-so .. I really liked some positions, but I didn’t like some. The homemade cheese is fantastic and the schnitzel is plastic.

I went on a Thursday morning around 10:30 and it wasn’t crowded at all. The space has lots of cozy, intimate tables, making it a great spot for conversation. The food was delicious, we shared a big pot of coffee, I had the meat lover’s crepe (so good!), and my friend ordered an omelet. On a past visit, I tried the mimosa sampler, which was both fun and tasty. They’ve got some really great flavors. The service was perfect, friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better.

I was hungry and decided to try a new place. Parking is located in the back and shared with a hotel. So you have to walk all the way around to the entrance. Good thing is you can exit through the back where the parking is. I was seated pretty quick. Staff is friendly and servers were very accommodating. I ordered a bacon avocado omelet and a short stack of oatmeal apple pancakes. Potions are huge! The oatmeal apple pancakes were absolutely delicious! The server accommodated me and got me whole wheat toast instead of a white bread bagel that it came with. The omelet was delicious and the hash browns flavorful. This restaurant definitely has a family friendly vibe. Lots of senior citizens which means they have good taste and the place is worth visiting. It was a little awkward / uncomfortable when the host told a server “Don’t do it again” twice in a loud voice while passing by tables carrying an order to a table. It seemed unprofessional…I know there’s a time and place to mention that to the server but she shouldn’t say it so loud to humiliate the person…there’s a time and place it can be said where customers do not hear it. Other than that I don’t mind visiting again.

A traditional American breakfast restaurant. The food was good but not the best. I have tasted better American breakfast at other restaurants. The portions were very big though. We ordered only 2 dishes but they actually could feed 4 people. Staff were quick and polite. The restaurant dining area was big and spacious.

The staff was friendly and we were promptly seated. There is a dedicated gluten free menu. I ordered the veggie tacos. I did order a side of bacon that never came out but it wasn’t a big deal for me. They get busy after 11:30AM. I’d definitely go back for a GF waffle!

Omelettes omelettes omelettes, I loved their omelette menu. I always prefer omelettes when I do brunch and stacks topped with a taste of satisfaction. I also liked their shredded hash brown. While the smoothies were not for me, it just didn't really click very well but the food here was amazing. Service could have been faster (understandable as it's pretty filled most of the time). A review from a friend - waffles were okay, not so great.

My biscuits n gravy was cold 😭😭😭 it took a long time for the side of avocado i ordered after. but the host was nice n friendly and the rest of the food was delicious. I never noticed before, but they have a plant based section for vegans.

To start off on a good note, the service here was good. We ordered an eggs Benedict and a skillet which were both not bad until we found a large bug in the Skillet. After taking the food from our table they did not charge us for the food but the size of that bug was quite freighting and has made it an experience I would not repeat even though the servers handled the situation well. Not sure how they didn't see a bug that big in the kitchen.

Z
Zaigham Ahsan

The service is great. The food was good but I had some issues. First, they have fresh orange juice on the menu, which I took to mean fresh squeezed which it was not. Second, my wife's garden crepe was cold. My veggie omelette was warm but not hot. We ordered dark roast coffee. It was dark roast but so watered down and again, kind of on the cold side. The ambience is good. The place is clean.

Biscuits and gravy was pretty good! We also got pancakes and although our expectations were high since the place is called stacks, it was not anything exceptional.

L
Lisa Zhu

Long wait to get in and long wait for food to come out. The waitress was really nice though, but it was hard to get her attention since it was so busy. The banana macadamian coconut pancakes are the best. Kids burger was dry. Eggs Benedict didn't have the right hollandaise sauce, it tasted weird, or maybe the muffin was burnt. Chicken and waffle was nice and omelette is decent.

N
Negar Shahrokh

An average brunch spot. It has many options which usually isn’t a good sign lol. After spending a significant amount of time on the menu I decided to get a cappuccino and lumberjack pancakes. They were average overall, didn’t really like the cappuccino but the pancakes were bearable. I liked that we didn’t have to wait in line to get in on a Sunday noon but still it’s not enough for me to go back there.

I
Ilisha R

This place is a mediocre brunch spot. Large menu with a lot of options, but the dishes I got were not worth going back for. Keep in mind that on the weekends there's a waitlist but it moved pretty quick. The portions were large which was a big plus.

As a customer expressing concern: "I've noticed a significant price increase at some local restaurants, since COVID-19. For example, a breakfast that used to be affordable now costs much more, making it difficult to dine out regularly. I hope businesses can find ways to keep prices reasonable so more people can enjoy their offerings." I've been a loyal customer for a while, but the recent price hikes, especially for items like breakfast, have made it challenging to visit as often. While I understand costs can go up, the current prices feel quite high for a daily meal. I believe more accessible pricing would be beneficial for both customers and the restaurant's long-term success." cost of living: "It's concerning to see how much food prices have risen, even for simple meals. Restaurants are facing challenges, but when prices become prohibitive, it can alienate customers and potentially harm businesses in the long run. Finding that sweet spot between covering costs and maintaining affordability is crucial."

Returned to Stacks after being out of state for a few years. Not the same as I remembered. The food has significantly declined. The wife ordered a fruit crepe. The strawberries were not ripe, the crepe was rubbery and pineapple was advertised but not present. I ordered a veggie skillet with eggs over easy. The eggs were hard and the only apparent vegetable was broccoli. Maybe a mushroom was in there but not enough to be counted. Plus both dishes were on the cool side. Service was adequate. Not much energy was expended. I have to say that we were not ignored and the server did check on us a couple of times. The interior was grandmother's homey. Somewhat comfortable a little out of time.

This is more of a quantity over quality kind of place. Feels like a slightly better Dennys which isn't saying much. Service was great but the food was low quality (over salty bacon, tasteless eggs etc).

O

I don't want to be that guy, but part of my order was incompatible to my diet. I brought it to my servers attention and instead of the proper response, "How can I fix this for you". She dumped it in the bus bin and walked away. I paid the the bill for a family of four and explained to her her response was not acceptable. She then argued well you were finished. You can't finish something you can't eat. Customer service is a art and skill, no one is entitled to a tip and those obnoxious figures at the end of a receipt need to stop. Tips are rewards for excellent service not your entitlement for being a warm body in a establishment.

K

Showed up early. 7:15. Second table not busy at all. Waited 15 minutes.... For cold food on cold plates. Bacon waffle is a thawed frozen waffle not housemade. So cold butter wouldn't melt. Sent back took awhile came back out kinda warm but on plate so hot it'd burn u. Guess cook was in a mood. Corn beef hash Benedict was also served in frozen plate and was cold. $15 for cold waffle. Super disappointed. Seriously not worth the money or the wait. They try to make up y large portions. Rather have fresh and hot.

J
Jake Moody

Had high hopes,but....just kinda sucks...those eggs ate clearly scrambled, not over medium. The breakfast gravy has freaking mushrooms in it. (Not that there's anything wrong with people liking mushroom gravy, it's just that that needed to be stated in the online order form/menu somewhere, when you have an option to add gravy to your breakfast and it just says "gravy" Everyone is going to assume you mean white sausage gravy certainly without mushrooms or possibly brown beef gravy, but once again, certainly without mushrooms unless stated, mushrooms have an extreme flavor and odor and a bizarre texture that like half of people are not gonna want period.) I asked them if there was butter in my bag ,they said yes but no,alas, no butter, which I needed very liberal amounts of to coat my toast, not the tiny amount they put on there, and I need a ton for the potatoes in my hash, so now I can't put the gravy on it either....so very not sauce for my hash of any sort. And it was all pretty cold even though i got there like 2 minutes after the online ordering systems said was the earliest it could possibly be ready by.foods like toast are edible for maybe maybe 4-6 minutes out of the toaster and even that is pushing it. The biscuit and gravy better not have mushrooms too or I am sad for anyone that ordered it if it does.. ...like really sad...biscuits and gravy are Serious business.......at least fix the online ordering system sp people can choose no mushrooms gravy.... Don't get me wrong, the food quality was there, good even, but the implementation was lacking...ok ,that's enough of this old man yelling at squirrels and the clouds to no avail for today...

The serving staff are great. Hash was cold, they replaced it, it was still cold. I ordered over medium eggs, the whites were liquid. Coffee is charged automatically at 4.00$! Was my last time here!

My family and I recently visited Stacks as our local breakfast restaurant, and unfortunately, our experience was far from enjoyable due to the poor service we received from our waiter. From the moment we sat down, the waiter seemed disinterested and unengaged. It took a considerable amount of time for him to even acknowledge our presence. When we finally placed our orders, he seemed to rush through the process, barely paying attention to our preferences. To make matters worse, when our food arrived, it was clear that little care had been taken in its preparation. Our orders were incorrect, and the dishes were lukewarm at best. When we brought this to the waiter's attention, his response was shockingly rude. Instead of apologizing, he tersely suggested that we leave if we were dissatisfied. This dismissive attitude left a sour taste in our mouths, figuratively and literally. In a breakfast establishment, where warmth and hospitality are expected, the lack of basic courtesy from the waiter overshadowed any potential enjoyment we could have had. It's disappointing when a restaurant fails to meet even the most basic standards of service.

It was an overall awful experience. I ordered chicken and waffles, they arrived very overcooked. The chicken tasted old and appeared to be more like over fried chicken tenders. The waffle was crispy and hard. The egg was surprisingly good. I recommend sticking with eggs and pancakes there. The waiter spilled a lot of ketchup on my mom and didn’t offer anything to make up for it like a discount. Then when the check came, not only was the tip taxed but the receipt deceivingly created another section to add the tip. If I hadn’t been reading carefully I would’ve double tipped just by the way it was worded. I will never come back here and recommend going to a different brunch place.

My wife and I had lunch at Stacks Redwood City today. My wife ordered a garden crepe. When her order finally arrived, after twenty five minutes, she took a bite into what turned out to be a crab crepe. As she is deathly allergic to all shellfish, we asked the waitress to take it back and send out the correct dish. The waitress said that she got the order wrong and would have it redone. Forty minutes later, the correct dish arrived. I had already finished my lunch but waited while she ate hers. The waitress never came back with our bill and the hostess finally came by and asked if there was something we needed. She came back with the check only to find that they were charging me for a more expensive crab crepe. Although the bill was adjusted, all we got was a meek sorry and sent us on our way. I didn’t want to make a scene in the restaurant and I can’t find any way to contact the manager. This is my only way to vent my frustration and disappointment. We have come here several times but never had such a bad experience. THIS will be our last visit, C. Morgan

EDIT 2023: It's a 2/10 now Portions got smaller food tastes different. The pancakes are so small now! I bought the farmers breakfast and I feel ripped off. I'm better off buying a breakfast burrito down the street for half the price. Cheaper and tastes better. 22 bucks for mid is not good enough stacks. I don't understand why so many people eat here. I probably will never eat here again. I would normally give this place an 8 out of 10 but I gotta drop it to a 6.5 because the prices are ridiculous for meals of smaller portions. $15 for a waffle is just too much. When I go here I go for the farmers breakfast so I at least get the proper portion of food for what I'm paying for. But the food is good. It's ordinary but done well. Just overpriced. All the employees are awesome. Just not the prices for smaller meals. I would recommend buying meals with big portions and splitting it with someone else.

Went to Stacks last weekend and came home and was violently ill. Yesterday my parents went and my mother was served a crab crepe after ordering a veggie crepe. SHE IS HIGHLY ALLERGIC TO CRAB. If someone orders something, it is not our responsibility to check the food to make sure it’s what we ordered. Half sincere apology was given by wait staff followed by 30 minute wait for new veggie crepe. No manager acknowledgement. Poor service all around. And, THEY TRIED TO CHARGE MY PARENTS FOR THE INCORRECT CREPE AND VEGGIE CREPE. Looks like more training is necessary on how not to potentially kill patrons. 2 bad experiences in a row. Never going back.

Stopped by to order a burger to go. Now know why I've never eaten there. Burger had no flavor, dry like someone pressed it with a spatula on the grill. Fries had been cooked earlier and where cold and hard.

The customer service is utterly pathetic! Walked in ready to enjoy some brunch after the reviews online. We waited for almost 20 mins before we got acknowledged. No server came by or even said anything to us. We were seated in an isolated corner. Another table came and they were immediately seated and literally within 10 minutes they got a server attending to them while we were still waiting with no acknowledgement. I finally couldn’t take it anymore, went to the hostess and expressed the fact that we have been waiting for 15-20 mins with no service, she sarcastically said she’ll take our order. When she came to the table she had an attitude and quite honestly didn’t not care and this made us feel uncomfortable. It felt as though there was some discrimination towards us and we decided to leave. Went to a more welcoming restaurant with great customer service and food. I do not recommend this restaurant at all!

My friend and I went there 2 weeks ago. So we ordered breakfast. My friend ordered coffee and orange juice. I just ordered orange juice. The food came out pretty fast. No orange juice ever given to us. She never checked on us. We saw her once but she ignored us. There was no water, no juice. I had absolutely nothing to drink. Try eating a pancake breakfast with nothing to drink! Of course we were charged for juice but it was taken off. She just said sorry. That was my first time there and definitely my LAST!

Worst breakfast. Brought out old luke warm hash browns. After I complained they then brought out hashbrowns with no brown on them which isn't hash browns. The waitress barely ever check on us while there. My son had a salad and asked for dressing and they charged us 1.75 for it. The manager didn't seem to care that standards weren't met either. Don't waste your time here as Dennys beats them.

1st time and last time going there. I ordered patty melt that suppose to be a melt with grilled onions. When I got it the salad it came with looked disgusting, and instead of grilled onions I got raw onions. When asked to get grilled onions, I got onions that were put in the frier and then brought to me all full of the frying oil. Expensive place for the quality of the food. Ihop is way better than this place and I am not fan of Ihop either. It is way expensive and their ranch sauce was so nasty and on top of that I was not even advised that I would be charged for it either. They took the charge off since I didn't even eat it. It was worse than hidden valley ranch. I hope they get better quality food or better cooks that care about how they cook the food and comes out.

After seeing the reviews and pictures I thought this would be a good place to get breakfast. This was honestly THE WORST breakfast I’ve ever had. I tried 2 dishes because I couldn't decide. The Mexican omelet tasted so disgusting, the flavors did not mix well and tasted so fake and artificial, like it had no fresh ingredients. The French toast was so dry, I had to pour lots of syrup to make it taste good. Their fruit components taste like they are from the can, just warmed up?? The hash browns or whatever those are were cold and tasted burnt!!! The only thing that was good was the mini fruit cup HA! My waiters customer service was non existent, just very cold shoulder vibes. I honestly expected so much more but this place was disgusting, dry, cold, burnt, & had bad customer service. I still ate majority of the food to not just waste money but you’re better off going to Dennys and that says a lot …

It is better to go to stacks eating in than ordering out. It would appear stacks is practicing the new business model of “whoever orders to go, just half it”. I Order friend chicken and waffles and got chicken strips and a see through waffle. I haven’t been to stacks for a long time and i think next time, I’m just gonna follow my gut and not even bother. Southern Kitchen is a much better spot than this!
