I like their low calorie seasonal salad. It's tasty and is on my diet. It's nice to be able to go out to eat and not have to cheat on my diet. This location has handicapped accessible restrooms and parking. There was little or no wait and our food came out promptly and correctly. Their prices are not too bad either. Overall a good experience.

I ordered the tunafish sandwich. I also ordered two of the 🍫 croissants. Both were so delicious! I 💘 coming back here for lunch and enjoyed my food. Cozy and fast service. Order kiosks make for easy ordering that you can easily customize your meal and see everything offered with pictures. Makes it much easier to get your order exactly how you want it. The fire place is beautiful, seats are comfy. Always clean. Food is exceptionally good and I literally just had the best salad of my life.

Food was fast and good. Very few things I can eat, but my go-to is always the Mediterranean veggie. You choose veggies. I added avocado. Ordered on the way and it was ready.

I can't really eat here because of my gluten and dairy allergy, but before I had celiacs, I loved their food. They still have allergy friendly options just not as much.The customer service is great. Very helpful and patient. It is a bit pricey but what isn't nowadays. It's clean and I love the outdoor sitting area, especially autumn time. I used to dine in or order if I was in a rush. I also have to say they are very kind to the delivery drivers. I do door dash and have to pick up a lot from there. Very organized.

It was good. Appeared nice and clean. Prices are a little high for the portions. $6 for a smidge of mac and cheese is crazy. But it was good.

It's hard to beat Panera in the category of "Fast food," although the price is higher than you might expect something in that category. When we travel and want good food quickly, we find a Panera on route and open up the app to order and pay. When we get there, just head to the pick up and the order is there! It was a little cool when my daughter and I went, but they had their fireplace on, and the table right in front of it was open. We sat there and enjoyed the moderate warmth it provided. The food itself is generally quite tasty and there are plenty of 'healthy' options.

Pizza tasted great surprised me, soup was great and staff was very friendly!

Fantastic customer service. Both women working were extremely nice, one grabbed me a cup so I could get my coffee and the other called me up after ordering (I used the kiosk) to apologize and tell me they didn’t have what I originally ordered. She offered to make me something different and really went above and beyond to take care of me as a customer. On top of that the restaurant was clean and stocked everything in else a customer could need. I work very close by and will be back! Thanks for the great service!

Great place for a tasty meal. My favorite is the pick 2 with tomato soup and spicy Thai salad. Nice size portion leaves you satisfied. Great assortment of bread and sweets.

I have been here multiple times and the quality is always top notch. They need to work on staffing during the lunch hour. The food preperation is good but often there is not enough front end people which makes lines and takes a significant amount of time to order.

If you can get to a different Panera location DO IT!! The manger at this location is terrible at their job! Order accuracy is awful. The bakery items are NEVER put in the inventory so you cannot order them with your lunch. Ask for salt and pepper on your sandwich, so that you don't have to disassemble your sandwich and deal with packets.... NOPE. Ask for extra salt and pepper next time.... No help. They will also use the heels of a loaf of bread to make a half sandwich. Useless bastards! I've NEVER experienced such incompetence at any other Panera location! Unfortunately this one is very close to work. Update . They have greatly improved as of December 2016. Back up to par with most Panera locations

Almost always well prepared and tasty. Occasionally an item is missing so check order. We order via the app so everything is ready to go when I arrive. Never dined in but it's casual with a friendly staff.

Quick service, my order was ready not long after placing my order. I would have gave it 5 stars except that when I went to fill my cup of ice tea, that area is always jammed up, people lined up waiting to get in that corner to fill their drinks, get their lemons, get their straws, etc... I had to move out of other people's way twice so they could get what they needed, and I was only there a split second before them. I hadn't had a chance to get my ice, pour my tea, and grab a lemon wedge and lid for my cup without feeling pressure to move out of the way, the line was forming behind me. I was literally there only a few seconds. Maybe Panara could open up another drink station for its customers, so there isn't such a traffic jam in the small, tight corner.

I go here fairly often for my Fuji apple salad. The food is always good and the staff is nice. My only complaint is they never have large drink lids every time I'm there.

This Panera is much better than others in the capital region. It's always quiet even when crowded and they're quick with ordering and getting the food out. My food allergies are taken into account seriously and I never have any issues getting the right foods.

Panera bread and no butter! Lol. Just a weakness across the whole chain..... I always have to ask for butter and a butter knife when I get a baguette with my meal. Imagine if they didn't give you a spoon with soup. Bread is literally in the name of the place, but the ability to spread butter on the bread is an afterthought, always. Imagine if the name of the place was Panera soup, but you always had to ask for a soup spoon after they gave you your bowl. It always has boggled my mind how this company can spend so much effort and resources on efficiency and streamlining the process, but overlook one of the easiest and simplest things: bread with butter, and a mechanism to convey it. Nope! Only if you ask nicely. 😂

This is a decent Panera bread location and good for a meal after a days shopping. The location was relatively Pat at five but around six after the dinner rush there was plenty of space. I’m subtracting one point for this review because there’s only one outlet that I could find near the entrance to use for my laptop. I’m also subtracting this point because the hot water for tea was cut off at 8 PM

We came here because they had some veggie option. we tried the grilled veggie sandwich. It was very good and would eat it again. The Broccoli mac and cheese was the best mac and cheese we ever had, so good. The coffee wasn't that great, but we would definitely come back here for the sandwich.

My food was cold so they microwaved it lol. Short staffed, drink area was out of alot, fruit flies, dirty dishes piling up at the garbage. Worst part was one of the male staffers was walking around with his pants around his groin. Sorry but I do not need to see your a** while I am eating. 😳

It was ok. I had one of their sandwiches. i wasn't impressed. granted it seemed like they were stupid busy. so i give them the benefit of doubt. I'll probably go again. they have a decent sized menu.

I have always liked Panera. But today I ordered a "steak and white cheddar panini," and it was disappointing. First, they no longer have their panini presses, so please change menu item names. This was done, on a roll, in a TurboChef oven, and it was burned beyond recognition. The staff was obliging, refunded the charge and explained about the cooking method. I chose, with the time I had left, a cup of soup. That was fine, but no baguette with it. Sad. Disappointed. But they'll get another chance because I like their philosophy overall.

Very dirty place. We always have to clean our table before we sit down. The soda machine is so sticky. But we remain loyal I don't know why.

It's good as far as fast food chain restaurants go, but can get expensive really quick depending on what you order. Their seating system is interesting as you order at the counter, then simply take a pager to a table, and it pairs with a chip in the table, and then the staff can find you and bring your food to you.

I'm usually very pleased with Panera. This time, I was turned off by the distribution of plastic silverware given for dine in when they have reusable silverware available. Not very eco-friendly. My soup was supposed to be the bowl size, and it was the same amount as a cup size put into this large bowl. And when did they start not bringing your food to your table? Being vertically challenged made it difficult to reach my tray at the back counter.

I got the steak and cheese sandwich WITHOUT the pickled onions because they were out of them. It was only ok... less steak than i recall.. Partner got the spicy chicken sandwich. It was barely spicy.... the 4 spicy fritos provided most of the flavor. Also got a cup of broccoli cheddar soup which was excellent. Each sandwich cost almost $12. We went there because we had a coupon and a gift card. Probably won't go back unless we get the broccoli cheddar soup.

We love panera- but very disappointed to be told they no longer offer sit down coffee mugs. We both work from home and love to enjoy a morning at panera- but now that you cant drink out of a real coffee mug....

Cream of chicken and wild rice soup was 75% broth, 20% onions, 3% carrots and 2% chicken - not a single grain of rice. Salads were nominally correct, although requested customization on southwest chicken salad wasn’t done. Only went here because I had a gift card to use up, so I didn’t have high expectations. The app is annoying to use - slow and clunky. At least the food was ready when I got there.

Every time I've been here, there has been something small wrong with my order. The food isn't prepared consistently, but it usually tastes good. It's hard to find a clean table if you want to eat there. The order kiosks are nice to have.

The staff was nice, and food was good. But I don't know I've ever waited so long for food outside of a packed restaurant. Had we not been two of about 8 people in the whole dining area I probably wouldn't even comment on it. And while it's possible the to go orders had piled up or something, it's still will deter me from visiting this particular Panera in the future if I'm in any sort of time constraint. Again it was a pleasant experience, I wasn't in a rush so I had no problem sitting and talking with the person opposite me. But it was bizarre, to say the least.

It's a typical Panera. Lots of tables but they are tightly packed so using mobility equipment can be tricky. Food is always consistently good but portion sizes have gotten smaller. Cookie are awesome!

I have been dining at Panera's all over NY for years. The other day my wife and I went in to our local Panera and I ordered my usual broccoli cheddar soup and my wife got the tomato soup. We both got the bowl, which is just shy of $10! When we got out order, we noticed that the soup did not fill the bowl. If you put this amount in the cup, it would probably fill it to the brim. If you are going to charge me $9.59 for a bowl of soup, you could at least fill the bowl! It will be quite a while before I visit again.

Order the soup because it's premade, if you ask them to make you something get ready for disappointment. With most recent order the $12 steak and white cheddar panini, I was literally just eating dry almost burnt bread, hardly a trace of meat or cheese and they forgot the lettuce so I had to get it myself. Why do I keep going. I took pictures but not sure how to upload on here. The only saving grace for this company is the customer service when you tell them what happened but you shouldn't have to be at that point!

Bathroom and dining area were the dirtiest I have ever seen a Panera. Watched a staff member "vaccuum" and intentionally leave a napkin that was on the floor across the room. Food was okay but after looking around I hope the kitchen is cleaner than the rest of the place.

When Panera bread has no bread to order that's a problem only to find that they really did have bread that's really annoying. The tables were dirty and when we asked to have a rag to clean it up the hostess that we had already given the tip to said here it is and walked away. The food was okay but it takes more than food to run a great restaurant even if it's hard to find help.

Unfortunately, there are frequent errors with to-go orders at this location. Most staff is friendly and willing to correct orders before you leave. I highly suggest checking your order or eating there. Rapid pick-up is incorrect about half the time and portions are more scant (especially on sandwiches) than other local Panera locations.

New Benny sandwich is tiny. Not worth the money. Also they forgot the egg the first time around.

My wife and I just had lunch here and it took forever to get our food and even then they got it partially wrong. We ordered 2 soups and a flatbread turkey sandwich, both with apples, and I made sure she heard apples with both and that she repeated it. I sat down and noticed on the receipt that they had 1 with a baguette. I figured I'd mention it to the server when they brought our lunches. It took over 25 minuets to get served. How do I know it took that long, because the order time is posted on the receipt and I looked at my watch when lunch was delivered. I didn't feel like mentioning that someone got the order wrong as I wasn't about to wait for an apple. The food was fine but waiting for that long is ridiculous. The food gets 4 start because it is good. The 2 star rating is for having to wait so long.

Unacceptable costumer service. The order pager was activated signaling that food is ready but unfortunately it was not done yet. Then a lady (cashier) took my pager telling me that they will call out my name for the order but no one did. We waited for a while not knowing that the food is ready to pick up. Good thing my sister was able to check the counter and read one by one the re·ceipt.

I’ve gone here a lot and I don’t mind paying if the food is good. But often it is not. If you’re paying $17 for a take two you shouldn’t get a half bowl of soup and a lukewarm tasteless sandwich which I got today. Rip off. Very inconsistent in this regard.

Food is good, but the guy who is calling out orders is extremely rude. I went up to grab my order and he made bratty comments about how he “called it out a few times” and I know for a fact it wasn’t because I was standing there! It’s not difficult to be kind to others.

I usually do my business at this 16 North Greenbush Road location in Troy New York. They make great salads, but this time I was extremely disappointed in how skimpy my salad was. A lot of the ingredients were there, but I hardly had any lettuce. The bowl was half full. I got the strawberry chicken poppyseed salad. I had one piece of pineapple, a couple of mandarin oranges but plenty of chicken and blueberries and strawberries. My disappointment was in the lack of lettuce and a tiny bit of lettuce was there was all spine no leafy lettuce. Very disappointed. The last salad I got there a week or so ago was magnificent. I hope it was just a rare occasion, but they have to try to be a little more consistent and I ordered my salad early not at the height of the dinner hour so I know they weren’t running out of things. Very disappointed.

I normally go here and have no issue but I'm pretty worried for one of the workers. I was picking up my brother's food and noticed they gave him the wrong cup. I went up to the counter and said "excuse me, I ordered a large." I was about to show her the receipt so she didn't think I was trying to get more than I paid for, but she interrupted me with psychobabble. She mocked the way I asked for the cup, said "okay" while hyperventilating and then dismissed me sarcastically. I almost asked her if she forgot to take her medication that morning. I was really confused because I just asked for what I ordered. I said "I'm sorry, did I insult you?" She said "Yeah you were really condescending actually." I've worked in the restaurant industry for many years and I take notice of how I treat service workers, so again the response I received was super unnecessary. I apologized and told her she should reconsider working in public. I'm just concerned for this girl and hopefully she stops tweaking out on random customers soon.

Mediocre at best. Two stars because the time I was given when I placed the order was accurate. Nothing like it was years ago. Grilled cheese was soggy. They used to give crispy chunks of bread with your order, now you just get a third of a soft gross breadstick. I wish they still melted the cheese on the French onion soup. I had gotten a small container of shredded cheese which didn't melt whatsoever. Overall opinion they are quick, but the quality of food has gone downhill in the past few years.

Panera used to be about good food, but the last 2 sandwiches used processed turkey. Really? Did they run out of real food? It's also annoying that customers are presented with a tip screen when paying. It's unseemly to pay a tip in advance of good service. I rate this as slightly better than A&W in quality.

Asked to please redue a sandwitch and the cook person Julia kept running her mouth. Got kicked out because i was right. She didnt want to redue the sandwich.very displease with her Juliea. Never again going there very rude.Need to train better customer is always right and there was no need for the other male costomer to say anything just want food done as asked. I am an avid Panera eater! However, my last few experiences of this particular Panera have been quite poor. I work until 8-8:30pm most days, and Panera is a place I like to grab food with my boyfriend after a long shift. We arrived to Panera at 8:50pm one evening, and they turned us away stating they were not serving food anymore. I understand the closing time changed due to the change in season, however, closing time is 9pm... not 8:50pm. This evening, we arrived at 8:40pm. The staff was obviously in a rush to leave for the evening, and we heard them yelling plenty of times “LOCK THE FRONT DOOR” to avoid any more customers from entering. A young girl came to our table and said in quite a sour tone while we were in the middle of eating “you’ll have to leave through the side door, the front door is locked” and stormed off. My advice, don’t enter this Panera after 8:30pm during winter hours, the evening staff will make sure you feel unwelcome.

This place is so gross. Its overpriced cafeteria food that is made of plastic. Everything there tastes like feet. This place has gone so far downhill. Even the workers are rude and pathetic. Dont go there.

Worst bagel I have ever had. Barely edible. When I asked for a different one I got attitude and when I said I would just eat it anyway they said “whatever “ . Will never come here again.

First time and definitely my last time at Panera’s. Worst service ever, I ordered a chocolate chip muffin top and a cup of hot coffee, which I had planned to enjoy together, but every container of coffee was empty and after I informed them, they said it would be a 7 minute wait, which turned out to be 12 minutes.

Panera sucks! Worst service ever. Ordered Broccoli Cheddar soup, after 15 minutes the server came and announced they don’t have it. She suggested tomato and said the manager will try to refund for the soup and 10 minutes later manager comes and announced they are out and we finally had to leave without eating, what a waste of time.

Hello, posting 1 start tonight because of a horrible experience with the Panera Bread in Rensselaer, NY. We ordered our food for delivery through the online app, I received a message from the store about 5 minutes later saying they were out of a product and were unable to make a item. When I called the store I was told everything was ok and that they did have the product they needed to make the item, and that the order was being prepared. I waited about an hour and called the store again, the staff was very confusing, so finally I asked to speak with a manager, for some reason this was really funny to the clerk who laughed as she told her co-worker I wanted to speak with a manager. When the manager got on the phone she was really nice, but not helpful. She basically told me that when that the delivery driver from Doordash didn't come back to deliver the order. Her only resolution for the mistake was to have me come get the order my self, which I would have done but I figured it was already an hour this food has been sitting around, so I asked for a refund, which she did. Would just like to say, if your delivery service is now through doordash you might want to figure something out with that company to iron out these bugs. Also it would have been nice to receive a phone call that the driver never came back and the order just sat there at the store for an hour while I am trying to feed my family for the night.

We placed our order at the kiosk and sat down at 1:38. Our order did not come out until 2:01. This alone would be an excessive wait for soup and salad. Both orders came out incorrect. One order had the wrong soup and the other the wrong salad. The runner who brought us the food was giving dirty looks towards our table after we asked for the items to be corrected. I’m not sure what was going on behind the scenes today but what I witnessed was unacceptable.

I ordered my food at 5:30pm and as of 8pm I still have not have received it. The driver brought me the wrong order. I called and they were suppose to send me out the correct order and the driver delivered that order to the wrong address. I had to call the store 4 times. It was terrible customer service I live literally 3 minutes from the Panera and they took over 2 hours to get me my order minus the cookies they were out of.

I stopped in for something light. I ordered a fountain drink and chocolate croissant. The girl put the croissant in a bag and I asked if it could go on a plate so I could eat it there. She showed all kinds of attitude and did not look at me or say another word. She put it on the plate but the experience sucked due to this.

I have used Panera delivery many times, and have never had an issue. Today, 2/28/2018, I made an order to be delivered to my place. Upon using the tracking feature, I found out that it “had been delivered.” 30 minutes went by, and there was still no food, no knocking, and no door bell. Not even a phone call. Called the store to ask what happened, was told someone was knocking, but they weren’t. I was charged, but requested to cancel the order. The manager I spoke to, Jesse (spelling?), then proceeded be short and nasty on the phone, prematurely hanging up the phone. I will NOT be going to Panera ever again. I will tell everyone I know about the poor service, and advise they go elsewhere.

I placed an online order. Food was Horrible! We got the Broccoli cheddar soup and was just water! Sandwich looked like they were tossed a crossed the room and stepped on. Really was looking forward to it and was extremely disappointed. This food was down right NASTY!

Panera used to serve food that was slightly better than hospital food. Now what they serve is slightly better than prison food. Also the system for gift cards was down, but of course it worked just fine when they took real money from somebody.

Absolutely the worst Panera out there. Ordered Chipotle Avocado Melt. Next to nothing on it. Thin layer didn't even cover the roll. When I approached the manager, I was told that due to their food costs, she couldn't put anymore on it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS PANERA.

I ordered the two for $22, salad and soup. The salad was a crunchy chicken Asian salad that was slimy, dark meat “chicken” that was chewy and disgustingly gross. The lettuce was wilted and was mostly ribs and very little leaves and only filled half the container . I have ordered the same thing several times but never so disappointing.

I'm not sure if this is actually a Panera "bread"? 3 out 4 times I've been to this location they were out of all of their bread. The last two times my meal was served to me. While I appreciate the thought the workers here are not servers and it's clear they have not been trained to properly serve a table of patrons. My main problem here is that it is clear there is a lack of training, preparation and management. What really puts the nail on the coffin is how management sent a poorly trained young woman to tell a neighboring table that they were yet again out of all of their bread and only told her to offer wheat bread, they then sent the same server back to inform the table that they were also out of the soup they ordered and the baguettes, again with no alternatives. (This also happened to me on a different occasion.) This is a clear lack of leadership and training. I have a hard time seeing a value in establishments that don't see the value in properly training their employees before forcing them to handle situations that management should handle. I hesitate to return here because watching these employees struggle at the hands of poor management is frankly unbearable.

Price of food, I give a 1 star. If you are desperate as I was because I was very sick. Because Panera Bread was the closest to where I live I purchased soup and mac & cheese. The soup was a minimal amount for an large price, the soup was very average and the price exorbitant. If you want average food for a small amount at a high price then go to Panera Bread in Rensselaer, NY.

The soap dispenser in the ladies bathroom is ALWAYS broken!!! How can you expect clean food prepared for you if the soap in the bathroom is never fixed!!! How hard can it be to call someone to FIX IT PROPERLY!!! Disgraceful! Tables, benches and floors ALWAYS dirty! MANAGEMENT/OWNER.....take notice and have some pride in your location! ****Bathrooms especially the toilets ate ALWAYS dirty. Apparently this location can not afford to have people regularly disenfect/clean restrooms. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤢🤮

Service needs immediate improvement. When my white patient went in she was treated with respect and greeted well. When I walked in I was told to order on the kiosk but the man that entered the door directly behind me was asked if he was ready to order. I witnessed another black woman being treated similarly and we both walked out. I always look for the silver lining but there's nothing positive about my experience. I work from different locations and usually need coffee while in transit but will go where I'm treated with the respect that I give people.

I was flabbergasted how poor the service was at this Panera Bread. I don't usually waste my time writing bad reviews but this one definitely deserves my time. From the food preps to the management it was a horrible experience. Ordered a simple bagel and cream cheese. What a mistake! Avoid at all costs!

Sandwiches came out not toasted properly. Soups we wanted not available. We tried because someone said they were good. Probably not again!

It would have been a much better experience, but the manager at the Clifton Park, NY location, who I would describe as shorter, with mostly gray hair in a ponytail and glasses, was extremely unpleasant. I asked about the four-cheese soufflé that was still on display, and she told me it was not for sale because breakfast had ended. I politely asked if I could still purchase it since it would likely be thrown out anyway, and I was willing to pay full price, but she refused in a harsh and unnecessarily rude tone. I then ordered a toasted bagel with extra cream cheese, and even that simple order was incorrect. This happened just 2–3 weeks ago and left me completely discouraged from wanting to return.

This particular Panera used to be top tier. However, our most recent visit was very disappointing. The resturant, as a whole, was filthy. The bathrooms both mens and ladies were disgusting. I really wanted to leave because of this. but we had already ordered. The food was average at best. I did talk to the manager about the bathrooms but she seemed a bit put off by my comment. Hopefully, they will find a new manager that knows the job or maybe hire people to clean.

Last night we went there at it was so disappointing that we left… The resturant, as a whole, was filthy. The bathrooms both mens and women were disgusting. there was water all over the floor, the carpets and floors were sticky! I saw a lot of plates still on the tables… Hopefully they will find out the importance of cleaning a restaurant thru a Health inspection…

East Greenbush location (next to Walmart). STAY AWAY!!! Food had foreign substances in it (see pics). There were gelatinous white chunks in the soup. Very unsettling to my wife as she only discovered when she was halfway through eating. I tried to work with Panera to understand what was in the soup and they were rude and dismissive. I was especially concerned because my wife has allergies. When I told the supervisor (Tessa) my wife could have died, her exact response “I do not care.” Uncommon Grounds will be opening in East Greenbush soon. They have higher standards, better services, and higher quality food. I hope they put the East Greenbush Panera location out of business. Terrible service, way overpriced, and tainted food! Trust me, there are way better options in the area, don’t waste your money on this garbage!

Most of the lettuce in my salad was bad, to the point where I just stopped picking it out and decided not to eat it. Very disappointed as I do not have dinner now and $15 wasted.

This location has been going downhill for me over the past couple of months and today was the final straw. The food has been being served cold and sloppy, the lemons for drinks were cut with the stickers still on them and I didnt notice until halfway through consuming my drink. The chemicals from the glue on the sticker was floating in my tea. I had a stomach ache for a few days following that visit, but still I came back to try again. Today I am here and theres very few customers yet the line is at a standstill. My son and I went to find a table to order from the app and every single table is a mess. The floors are covered in trash and food. The place is disgusting!!! Wonder what goes into our food in the back if the front for the public looks like this!

Overall Panera is a consistent and fairly decent chain. However the Rensselaer store is one I would highly recommend avoiding. over the past year, I don't think I have going in once and gotten what I have ordered. Today alone I am eating a salad that has been made for the second time grossly incorrectly. I finally just decided to pick out everything I was allergic to and eat it and leave. This has been pretty regular in the past year or so here. It's also not uncommon to see staff argue with each other. My recommendation is drive down the road another fifteen minutes and eat at the Troy location- it's better run and you get what you order. UPDATE 2/28- Today had to be here due to work schedule. Ordered Caesar salad- no croutons, add frizzled onions, cucumber, avocado, napa cabbage. WHat I received: Lettuce, 2 pieces of avocado, 4 cucumber bits, no onions, no cabbage, ONE CUP of sliced apples on salad. MMMM...Caesar dressing on apples! Uploaded a pic of all i picked off, and the sad salad i was left with. Management does not care, there is no quality control. Would give zero stars if I could.
