I wasn't able to understand the lady at the counter thanks to the mask and a slight language barrier so I ended up spending 20$ got a combo plate 3 tacos beans rice and Carne aside burrito.. was good food free chips salsa wife loved their green sauce..

They now accept credit and debit cards.

I've only ordered tacos and Huaraches from here and I wasn't disappointed with the food. Plus I like that they give you chips and salsa on your to go orders.

Would definitely visit again, probably trying the tortas next time :) Pros: - lots of protein options as well as vegetarian, easy to read menu - for the most part easy parking, small lot but street plenty aplenty - flavorable meals - we got the al pastor and carnitas burrito, both were good, a little spicy/salty but it's based on personal preference - chips and salsa were DELICIOUS and fresh - not the cheapest as our burritos were around $12 but it is super filling, I saved a portion for lunch and was still full for dinner Cons: - cash only

Most people only speak Spanish and they only accept cash as of Jan 2020. Got the chorizo breakfast burrito. It came with beans and rice and was great. Very rich, well cooked, well seasoned and delicious!

How can this place not be on here!!??!! Delicious! It’s tucked away in the 7-Eleven shopping center and out front just says MEXICAN FOOD. Seems scary! I’m a firm believer that if you walk into a restaurant and everyone there, customers and employees are the ethnicity of the cuisine and people look at you like you might be lost when you walk in, you’re in the right place. I’m obsessed with the carnitas burrito sin arroz right now and their salsa delicious. I’m so excited I’m the first to review this place!

Rio Grande Mexican food is a great authentic Mexican restaurant, with food made with care. The menu online is not accurate and when I visited they let me know that they have not updated it in a while. The photos on Google maps are accurate and the options are very simple. They do have vegetarian options. The tostada was surprisingly filling and the enchiladas are coated in light sauce, not as much as I expected. Also the cheese they use here is traditional queso, so not the American version that melts. Last thing to note is that they do take credit cards now but will charge a small fee, so cash is better!

Ignored took 28 min to get order, 4 other people came in after me and ordered and got there order after 10 min. I ordered a chicken tostada and a pork torta. They filled the torta with 4 times the amount of hot peppers than needed. The chicken tostada was passable but nothing to write home about. What a let down. Was told by Josephina this place was a find. If your not Latino I guess not. I won't go back.
