This place, reminds me of a chipotle, but way better food. EXTREMELY BETTER FOOD!! The ingredients taste very fresh and their spices is such good flavor. I order the nachos and get a side of chips. Their queso is amazing. If I could eat here every day for lunch, I definitely would. I didn’t even know this place existed until recently, and I am hooked! The staff is really nice and they give samples of margaritas while you’re checking out!! NEVER GO TO CHIPOTLE! (they don’t charge for chips at Chiloso)

I read the reviews and I was excited because I’m in the area getting dental work done and it sounded a lot like a Chipotle restaurant but that’s where the commonality ends! It’s thoroughly a different atmosphere, it’s really quite nice no hardwood seats and stuff like that. They’re padded whether you sit at the bar area or this bar type set up area out in the middle or any of the chairs with tables everything is padded and everybody here is very friendly and when I walked in the food smells so good but then that’s always a good indicator isn’t it!? What I ordered was a vegetarian bowl and a glass of iced tea and I have photographs, but there are so many different variables, much more than what you’ll be used to as far as what you can put on your burrito, taco or a bowl and it’s all good tasting all of it, and there is more than any other restaurant like this to include the one I mentioned and I give them a five star day on all points. It’s got a very good atmosphere. It has very good service and very good tasting food with a lot of selections and I watched a girl cleaning up the front area and when I walked in that’s the first thing I noticed was how clean everything is and it just looks very nice and very welcoming to come in here! I’m glad I stopped by because there are so many vegetarian options as well as your meat options, of course, but it was nice to have so many extra vegetables available and so many different hot sauces in the like everything was more than what I’m used to. It’s very clean and very fresh tasting everything’s made here and I think they do a wonderful job and I think that you would be a mess to not come and try this restaurant! Even if you have to drive a bit of a distance, you will really enjoy it, it’s very very good! I have photographs and I’m hoping that I can add them while I’m making this review because sometimes you can, and sometimes you cannot, but I’ll find a way! You need to see this it’s very good. It even has outdoor patio furniture underneath an overhang and with umbrellas and I am impressed with how clean it is!

Great Tex-Mex food in a convenient choose what you want cafeteria style ordering system. The food is very well seasoned and the flavors are amazing. I had a bowl and mixed the steak and chicken. Both were good but the steak was maybe the most tender I’ve ever had in this type of restaurant. The complimentary chips and queso were also on point.

Chiloso Mexican Bistro – Richardson, TX ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Chiloso in Richardson is one of my go-to spots for fresh and flavorful Tex-Mex. I really like their menu — plenty of great options whether you’re in the mood for tacos, burritos, or bowls. The food tastes great and is always satisfying. The place is clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful, which makes the dining experience even better. I also appreciate that they open early at 6 AM and stay open until 10 PM every day except Sundays, when they close at 9 PM. They also offer delivery, which is super convenient. The location is perfect — right off the highway and close to gas stations, shopping centers, and other restaurants. It’s an easy stop whether you’re just passing through or running errands in the area. Parking is never an issue either, with wide lots and plenty of space. Overall, Chiloso Richardson offers good food, fast service, and a convenient, welcoming setting. Definitely worth a visit!

I’ve decided to try this place with zero expectations, and I was truly surprised and just genuinely impressed at how good their burrito was, and also having a chance to try their Quesadillas! I got the Rojo shredded chicken and it didn’t disappoint at all! Their ingredients were also fresh, and I could tell the moment I enjoyed eating my food. All the flavors blended well, and honestly if I were to give a rating it would be 8.7/10 considering their well blended flavors between the veggies and even the seasoned chicken. Their pork option for the quesadillas also didn’t disappoint as I was pleased with how tender the meat was! Even the garnishes for their chicken blended well, and it wasn’t too salty or spicy and it was pretty good! Their salsa also was on another level, and it went very well with the lightly seasoned tortilla chips! Overall if you’re looking for your next spot to eat some good Mexican style food this is the place to be!

What a great vibe in this place. staff was friendly and very engaged. It was really busy. All of our food was great and huge portions. I enjoyed the tamale meal was tasty and creative.

I use to only order online it was my 1st time actually inside. Went in for breakfast. Got a few tacos and a burrito, they are huge. Needed a fork to eat the burrito. Tacos were mini burritos lol. There were quite a few folks at Chilosos on a Thursday evening when I went for the first time. As usual, I am late to the party but better late than never. I have read other reviews about Chilosos being like Chipotle and I don't see the similarities. Granted, the food is laid out cafeteria-style but that's where the comparison ends. Chilosos is much fresher and has a wider selection of entrées than the other guys. Plus, here you get complimentary chips and salsa. I had the Chicken Avocado bowl, which is basically a quesadilla with a hearty heap of grilled chicken on top. You can customize your meal with a variety of toppings, and they have several salsa options. Charro beans and rice are included. I got so full, which is another way Chilosos differs from the other guys. With so many options and even a full breakfast menu, I will be returning to Chilosos-Richardson. ¡Mucho sabor!

Chiloso is always busy for lunch, so expect to wait. The line does move quickly. The grilled OMG quesadilla is enough for 2 to share!

The food was good but not great. The chips were a little hard and the salsa was more like mild picante. But they also have jalapeno ranch, which was good abd a slasa verde we didn't try.I had the grilled avocado with chicken fajita meat. It was good. DO NOT COME HERE. Horrible customer service. They have teens working the line who don’t have a clue about the food. They will not give you the correct food you ask for—or they won’t include it in your bag at all. You are better off at going to Chipotle.

First and last time coming here. The staff speaks extremely quietly. “Do we order here? Huh? What? Where?” I asked them to speak up and even tried speaking Spanish, but that didn’t get me anywhere. If you’re hard of hearing, good luck placing an order here. I ordered nachos, which were actually very good, but building them was difficult when I couldn’t hear what the employees were saying. I waited about 15 minutes for my husband’s tacos, and unfortunately they came out very soggy. I also have no idea what salsas they offer because I couldn’t hear the girls in the back. I just said, “the spiciest one,” and hoped for the best. Thankfully, that part was delicious. The front door doesn’t close all the way, so the wind created a loud whistling noise the entire time we were there that left my left ear ringing.

I’m really upset. I ate at Chiloso yesterday and ended up with what feels like food poisoning. I’ve been throwing up nonstop and feeling horrible ever since. This was scary and completely ruined my day. I won’t be going back, and I hope they take this seriously.

The absolute craziest roller coaster experience I’ve ever had with any restaurant. I’m usually not want to review a restaurant but since all these things happen, I just had to let someone know if y’all have the same issue please report it. First I came in to dine in at the restaurant. I got the Thursday special and they forgot my order. After sitting for over 15 minutes being patient and others that were trying to see about my order that I meant in line I had to get up and explain to them what’s going on I actually met some nice workers and they recommended everything and anything and the food was absolutely delicious. that was not my only trouble of not getting my order. Another thing was the chips were very, very stale. After receiving my order and eating my food. I went to the front to order some more the exact same thing with the tortilla soup for my wife that’s at work to surprise her, all my food to go and I set off to drop the food off at my wife’s job when I got to my wife’s job. I open the bag and there was no tortilla soup, but there is all the fixings inside and the Thursday special that I ordered taste the chips to make sure they’re not, they were perfectly fine to let them know tortilla soup for some reason they couldn’t hear me or understand me. I called several times and just regular microphone after getting the same results. I then called with a females voice because I am a male and acted like I wanted to order, she heard me very clear and asked me what I want to order and as soon as I started talking in my regular voice claim couldn’t hear me and hung up. as I said, the food was amazing, but the service was terrible. Most of the staff didn’t speak very much English so trying to get an understanding of an issue while I was in the restaurant was a little difficult at the restaurant was very busy. It was lunch rush and it was storming outside so they had a lot of online orders, and it seemed like it was complete chaos in the kitchen. i’m not saying that don’t go to this restaurant, but it is a tossup when it comes to staff I don’t want my seven dollars for my soup. It’s OK. I just want people to understand and know that even though the restaurants food is really great and the whole staff are Hispanic it’s just gonna be a great experience. I would go back to this restaurant, but not this location.

I HATE leaving a bad review but this place was horrible. Everything we ordered was wrong tonight and thrown together. The most annoying mistake was a simple kid’s meal. It was supposed to be a burrito with meat, queso, lettuce and tomato. The burrito only had rice inside which was not even in the description. The rice is dry and undercooked but the tortilla is so soggy everything fell apart. We’re not even eating this, I don’t want my kids to get sick. Looks like it came from someone else’s plate and it wasn’t what I would consider a cheap restaurant. Keep in mind I ordered off uber eats so I paid more in fees.
