Wizards is our every Wednesday spot we love it here. The bar tenders are great the waitresses especially Maddie takes great care of us. We feel like everyone knows our name what we drink and our preferences. This alludes to great training by the managers and a good non toxic work environment. I love the service and will come here with my group of friends as long as Wizards are open.... the only negative experience I've had was today when we came in a waitress named Bridget was working the door and didn't recognize us and was extremely rude when asking for our IDs, and argumentative when we joked that we always come here and even made an issue and stated that she didn't want us in here and tried to get us removed. I understand that everyone has a bad day, but being that we come here every Wednesday I felt it was uncalled for and unprofessional.... that experience aside I love this place and will still come. Keep up the good work guys!!!

This is my go to place for food. Everything is delicious, HIGHLY recommend the pizza, burger, or chicken strips. Taylor is also such a great server! Attentive, sweet, and very friendly.

Good pricings on food and portion size, anywhere from 6-16$ for most meals Only reason my meal was 32$ was because I tipped the waitress, Madison, high. We had a big group and she was super busy trying to make everyone was accounted for and kept content. Shout out to her for her hard work!

This is a pool hall and Chiefs bar when they play, great fun for the gametime for sure. It can be a bit loud at times so don't expect quiet dining. With that said, the food for a bar is always above par and better than a lot of restaurants. Definitely check it out if you play pool and for great food, but if you are not a Chiefs fan don't go when they are playing.

Wizzarda Sports Cafe is definitely one of our favorites. I first came here for a friend’s birthday party, and since then, I’ve been back for UFC and boxing fights, as well as date nights. I love the atmosphere! I do wish there was a non-smoking section, but overall, it’s a great spot.

Excellent bar food. We were there for an entire day playing in a pool tournament. Between my wife and I we had four different meals and all of them were delicious. The fried pickles are absolutely delicious. The staff was stretched thin with the event and still did a fabulous job of dealing with the crowd. The pool tables could use a little bit of TLC.

Coming to town from KC for a concert and wanted to watch the Chiefs play somewhere. Found Wizards on Google. This place felt like home! So much fun, great nachos, awesome prices. I don't know when I will be back to DFW, but I will visit Wizards, game day or not.

It's so cool to have a local Chiefs bar in our new hometown!!! Very affordable pricing and the bar food is good! Drinks are plentiful and the whole environment is comfortable and inviting. We did see a guy get rowdy but employees and security immediately handled him very professionally. If you're a cowboys fan, steer clear 😝

Saw my friend's live band here on July 20, We're Not From Seattle. Great crowd, decent service, awesome sound for the band. A little too smoky for my liking, but not as bad as some places.

I recently had opportunity to visit Wizards Sports Café for a client meeting and and I really did not know what to order, but since I'm a Burger fan, I ordered their classic Wizards Burger. I can tell you this. The meat was juicy and tender, and the toppings were plentiful. My burger had cheddar cheese, bacon, avocado, tomato, lettuce and it even came with its own remiken of mustard, mayo, catchup, jalapeños, and served hot with a large portion of crispy French fries. I actually sat at the bar while we discussed business and had a nice large cold iced tea. Victoria provided exceptional customer service and provided plenty of napkins for this big juicy burger I was about to take on. I highly recommend Wizard's if you're looking for a big juicy Burger that tastes great and is very filling. You most certainly won't be asking "where's the beef" at this venue. Next time I'll have to schedule so I can play some pool. Wizard's has a large number of pool tables and even a room dedicated for private parties. So check out Wizard's it Richardson when you need to "break" your hunger.... order the ABC Burger 🍔

Went a couple Fridays ago with a girlfriend and had an amazing time! The bartender, Taylor was absolutely fantastic! She offered great suggestions from their large drink selection they offer. Was very patient with me while I was trolling you decide. Did not feel rushed and still offered me great service and attentiveness. We definitely will be back! Might be our new Friday girls day out if I get her again as a bartender! Also the food is absolutely amazing! The eggrolls are my new go too!! You HAVE to try them!

This place was great!!! We went to surprise my daughter's girlfriend. She is from Kansas City and the Chief's were playing. It was super busy, so the service was a little slow. We had a wonderful time!!!! There was a live DJ who was commenting on the game. It's a great place for any Chiefs' fan.

Nice place, easy going. Easy to find a game if you know what I mean. Nice beer selection. Tables need new felt but otherwise in good condition. Wish I could have stayed longer and tried the food. Didn't seem too expensive or at least it was a good value.

Wizards is the best part of our football 🏈 experiences when we view Kansas City Chiefs games.

Great experience! Took the wife who is a huge Chiefs fan and she had an awesome time. Food was great. We had wings, mini corn dogs, chicken quesadillas and TexMex eggrolls. All excellent.

Wizards is one of my favorite bars. I’ve had a few parties in the sky box and service is always amazing! Food and drinks are the cherry on top. Taylor was my server last time I went. She was so sweet also gave me great recommendations on food and drinks.

This bar is a blast, the mood and ambiance are awesome, with a relaxed feel. Their DJ is a master of his craft and spins a blend of old school and new school hits. We grooved to sweet tunes, cool folks and a fantastic service while munching on some tasty bar snacks. For a spellbinding fun time, teleport yourself over and unleash the wizard within.

Stopped in to have lunch and wait for traffic to clear. Really nice, spread out bar with lots of room and is neat and clean. It was pretty dead (mid afternoon) but the bartender was nice and the club sandwich was pretty awesome. Recently completed (?) Indoor/outdoor patio for the smokers. Can’t speak to the night time activity, but definitely recommend as a place to hang out during the day.

Great place to shoot pool. Hangout with friends. Eat some good food. Service was excellent. I will be there tomorrow for a tournament.

Had a great time watching the game in the booths by the big screen. There's are tvs in your booth to catch the replays. Enjoy the pizza and the appetizers. If you are a pool.player, there are plenty of tables and their belts are amazing. No shortage of house cues with decent tips.

My first time but we are going to make this a weekly stop. One of the best burgers I've ever had. Loved how they toasted the bun on the grill. The fries were perfect and not greasy. Lots of pool tables and other fun games to play like jenga and connect 4. They even have a room for those that want to smoke. Plenty of TV's to watch multiple shows at once. Our waitress was super nice.

This place is good, one of the best pool halls I’ve found in Dallas. Just the fact that it has 16 8ft tables alone is VERY nice and the tables play really well. It’s not like most of the places you go to that have around 3-4 terrible bar box’s, which gives this place a legitimate pool hall feel. It’ll get busy even during the weekdays but I always get lucky and manage to get a table. There are also some really good players that go here.

We went here Friday night and the band Texas Flood was on the lineup. The food was really good and the server Raven was just the best! We had plates of pork and brisket tacos served with rice and beans. Even the salsas were made the way I like my salsas. Will be visiting again soon.

We went for a Chiefs game. It was really busy. We played a couple of pool games too. Tables are great. Food was really good. Drinks were good. TVs are a little small for the amount of people that come to watch the games every week and one of the projects has something wrong with it and it ruins the picture half of the time. Had wait quite a while to get a drink when I was with my party. Members of my party had to wait quite a while to get their food. Was told that I wasn't allowed to get a drink at the bar and had to wait for the server that was assigned to our party. The parking lot was small. The build is spacious and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. I'm not sure I will visit again.

They had my beer! Not a standard one to find all over. Menu was good enough. Quality was better. Service has always been friendly and fast and consistent. A few times I've had to wait for a table, and it wasn't too bad maybe 10 minutes. More adult fun than playing at Main Event.

TVs everywhere, even booths with their own. I noticed a stage with a stool, so im assuming they have live bands/singers or karaoke. Impressive amount of pool tables. Darts corner and noticed some corn hole boards stacked up. Service was ok. Its a sports bar, not a restaurant, so don't expect a "waitress", but servers were attentive with drinks, but you'll have to ask for a menu. Jalapeño poppers were a bit disappointing as they were tiny and few. Pizza was good. Fries were on point. I'd definitely go back.

Not sure if they have the pool rotation completely fair/monitored properly. Several times my friends have gone and were put on an almost hour wait list, just to end up not being able to play at all. People leave tables for long times and never finish a game or consider others waiting to play.

the food was great and so were the drinks, however for a saturday night i feel like they were a bit understaffed. there were only 2 bartenders and maybe 2 waitresses around. it took me maybe 15-20 minutes to get our first order while sitting at the bar. the bartender was great but seemed a bit overwhelmed with the amount of customers.

Great place to enjoy a cold beer. A lot of pool tables 🎱 and designated smoking area. I have tried a few food items here and was disappointed. The brisket tacos were way greasy and the rice was not good. However some of the appetizer lime friend pickles and wings have been delicious. Every time we visit we have a good experience. The waitresses are always nice and attentive. I love their beer selection and they can make just about any cocktail you ask for 🍻 🍹 Plenty of parking and lid up space as well. The stuffed tator tots are very good, the wings were ok. The glasses look filthy, I was told b/c of how they dry. The two servers we had were decent, though they seemed to struggle with tending to a large party.

Band was great, food was good and drinks prices were decent. Only real complaint is that it is a still a smoking establishment so you will leave smelling of smoke and one friend actually had to leave early since it irritated her asthma. Other than that we had a great time for a friends birthday. They rented the party rooms and they had a nice set up with a pool table and couches etc.

Really cool place with great billiard tables and 2 dart boards. Full bar and decent food. I recommend the pizza. My 2 negatives would be the lack of official policy when it comes to the tables when they have a league night. I was on a table and was told I needed to give it up for the league, and then after my waitress told me that table was specifically left open for non league players to still be able to play. The other negative I have is about drink specials, they don't list them anywhere so you always have to ask if there is a special going on.

Checked out the place with some friends on Saturday night and ended up leaving after a round of drinks. We were in the area for dinner and wanted to play pool so we came here as they have several pool tables and darts. Pros: Staff was super friendly. Bartenders were on it, we were served quickly. One of us ordered the chicken Alfredo pasta dish and he said it was really good. Cons: it was karaoke night...on a Saturday night...in the main room. Not only that but it was so loud we couldn't hear each other speak over people whaling into the mic. We tried to go over to the pool hall side and it was just as loud. I usually don't mind karaoke but this just was awful. It felt as if they catered to the karaoke group of 10-15 people that were there. We spoke to some other people outside our party who felt the same and when we asked what time it would be over and they said 1am, we left. We couldn't take anymore. Found another pool hall 5 mins away that we closed down. Also, the darts we received were broken and there wasn't anything to keep score with. And one of the boards was falling apart. The women's bathroom while clean, was stuffy and warm. The restaurant was nice and cold. 1 star given for the staff 1 star given for the food, drinks, and cleanliness of the place

Drinks were good & bartender was so great! Pool & darts were fun until …. Fedora guy YELLING out to my friend in front of everyone instead of just coming over to our group. This was not professional at the least. Regardless of the situation at hand, this could’ve been handled so much better if communication skills were where they needed to be. Considering their approach, I’d say this isn’t the first or last time to talk to woman the way they did. Communication can get you so much further! Mistakes are inevitable but how they are resolved can really show you the basis of how a business is ran! I guess if you come in for 20yrs, your opinion is held to a “higher standard” 🙄🙄. Run in the other direction if you’re just having a good time!

We drove up to Wizards for the first time today to watch the Chiefs on TV, since the local networks were not carrying the game. Our experience was a mixed bag: The best parts: Hundreds of loud, enthusiastic Chiefs fans, combining to create an experience as close to going to the game in real life as possible. Could have been better: Uncomfortable seating with sketchy views of the (dozens of) TV scattered all about. Pretty much all conventional dining tables are prereserved, leaving only a little seating at makeshift covered pool tables and some backless bar stools scooted up to a thin table that ran the length of one of the spacious viewing rooms. Food and drinks were ordinary, with close to market prices for this kind of venue. The nachos were sloppily constructed, the burger overcooked, and the fries cold, kind of understandable for a place with limited servers and hundreds of customers. We will likely not be returning any time soon, accordingly.

Came to watch a band I've seen before and watch a play off nba game. Well apparently there was a biker party going on and at the door it was $20 to just get in.. then There's was no where to sit ALL the tables had RESERVED on them. So after asking for our money back since we couldn't even sit down a guy with the motorcycle group got us a booth. Def not a friendly environment the game was shown on 2 tvs. After sitting about 10 min we finally flagged down a waitress and had to let her know we were NOT with the bikers and she was sweet and helpful. I thought the issue with Bridgett was over done nope it continues!!! She completely ignores ME!!! What did I do to this server? I have no clue management knows about the issue now this past Tuesday she completely ignored my teammate who was sitting right next to me but she serves my other teammates checks on my other teammates all night long!!!! My teammate was ignored for 2 hours another server took his order I was going to the bar to get my refills all night and another server took my order!!! When Bridgett has an issue with you you’ll know she won’t serve you she won’t tell you her issue with you she’ll just ignore you

So I came up here this past Wednesday night after a long work week. I just wanted to have a drink and relax. The woman behind the bar was so incredibly rude it made me uncomfortable. I went to the smoking area to get away from her but then I realized there are so many other bars I could go to so I left. When I asked for my tab she asked me if I was alright. Literally, this was the first drink I had all night. I was fine. She clearly hates her job and has some anger issues. There was another guy there and he was nice. Maybe he should be taking care of your customers

9/22/23. We started playing APA pool again. Went with Wizards because they play on Friday nights. It just happen to be one of the players birthday. We spent well over $300. That was just us. Not including everyone else with us. There was this short Mexican WOMEN Bartender. She got upset RUDELY demanding a TIP. We pay with Credit Card but always leave cash tip. My Husband was so upset. The next day we were still upset. I called & spoke with manager GERALD. He was completely understandable about how we felt. He said come see me when y'all come back. Well. The next time we went back of course he wasn't there. So. We spoke with a different manager. Friday. 10/6/23. He comes at me very RUDELY. I was caught off guard. I really thought he wanted to fight me. Yes. I'm a female. Well. I will never spend any money in there anymore. I'd rather eat McDonald's & take an ice chest go to my car take a drink & go back inside and play my game. How can someone let someone like GERALD be a manager?

We went out for a Sunday funday out to play pool, interesting spot. Service was lackluster at best we got our drinks we ordered when entering but the server never spoke to us again for the two and a half hours we were there. Definitely wouldn't go back on a Sunday apparently that's reserved for regulars practicing their pool game and outsiders or anyone who wants to have a conversation are frowned upon. We had fun as we don't care about public opinion but we'll find somewhere else for a fun night out next time. Also the people next to us got food and it looked and smelled like the grease it was fried in was 13 years old and had never been changed. Overall maybe it's great on Friday and Saturday but don't waste your time on a Sunday unless you're a Sunday regular already.

Worst service that I can recall. On 12/03/2022 at 7pm I came here to celebrate my birthday. Kelsi was our waitress & we were lucky to see her at all. We had to hunt her down every time we needed anything. A married couple was with us & they ordered food & drinks. When it was time to tab out Kelsi had to be hunted down AGAIN. My best friend told her to put 1 of my beers on her tab. Kelsi put EVERYTHING on my friend’s tab including another friend of mine’s drinks & food. We didn’t even realized till a few hours later that she had done this when my friend went to hunt Kelsi down AGAIN to pay her tab…. A couple of hours earlier we had moved to the smoking room with other friends. Kelsi didn’t even check on us that entire 2 hours. One of my friends had to go to the bar to order her drinks…. Oh & the smoking room was a mess. Food sat on the table the entire time that belonged to a previous customer... I will never have a party here again because of the horrible service… and where was the manager the whole time? Oh he was at the host area chatting with 2 other female staff members. Just horrible all around experience.

The bartender Michelle has made my experience here very horrible I will not be back. She does not need to work in this business & will continue to make customers not want to come back. I ordered a Paloma & after talking one sip I sent it back my drink was yellow! I then hear her say that she will not take the drink off of my bill because you have to pay for what you order. I was not informed that there was no actual grape fruit juice to make my drink properly. So I told my waitress that I would like something else instead & she told me there was nothing she could do because Michelle was the manager on duty. She does not need to work here after the way she handled this situation. I am not saying the customer is always right but to stand there & say you were going to charge me for something I did not drink is just ridiculous.(picture is the Paloma I was forced to drink)

The atmosphere was really nice. However a friend and I was there today. A guy named Lauren waited on me, I ordered a beer, margarita, nothing to write home about & ordered chicken wings I never received, after 20 minutes I inquired about the order, he said they were on the way out, he stayed down at the other end of the bar and never bothered to update me, then after another 15-20 minutes he walks my way or so I thought, he looks around with 2 orders in his hand, apparently neither was mine, so I told him if neither order was mine, please cancel my order, he said something and walked off , never to return, not even to close out my tab. I had to ask another server to close me out. I mean, no I'm sorry it's taking so long or I'll check on that for you. NOTHING. Just complete ignorance and rudeness. I'm not compelled to return there.

The bartenders here were outstanding, and we started the night having a fantastic time playing pool and darts. Unfortunately, that experience was completely overshadowed by an incident that made it clear we will never return. As we were finishing up darts and starting another game of pool, my friend leaned slightly on the table with her feet firmly on the ground—nothing damaging or out of the ordinary. An older man abruptly approached us, barking at her to stop, shouting, “Get off the damn table.” His tone was aggressive and entirely uncalled for. Confused by his hostility, I brought the issue to the owner, assuming it would be addressed professionally. Instead, the owner dismissed our concerns, defending this rude customer because he had been playing for 20 years. Apparently, this man claimed we weren’t playing “the right way,” as if that justified his behavior. Whether we’re seasoned players or not is irrelevant—no paying customer deserves to be treated with such blatant disrespect. It became clear the owner had no interest in understanding or valuing our perspective. His indifference spoke volumes, and we decided to leave and take our business elsewhere. This establishment clearly prioritizes their long-time regulars at the expense of new customers, even when those regulars are rude and unprofessional. If you’re okay with being talked down to, disrespected, and brushed off, this might be the place for you. As for us, we won’t tolerate such behavior and will never be back. Businesses that dismiss and mistreat paying customers deserve exactly what they give—nothing.

This place was once our regular spot for my husband and I just to get away for a quick date night. We went this past Sunday for father's day and sat right at the bar. We were not greeted, if you can even refer to the interaction as a greeting, until 15 min after sitting down. It was not even close to busy. Finally ordered a shot and it was terrible. Tonight we thought it might be better, but it was worse. We weren't greeted at all and waited 20 minutes before walking out.

Well today was my first time ever going into wizards well the manager Steven at the bar when tried to talk to him professionally about the food I was ordering and what we was drinking he made a comment to me very sarcastic saying I ordered mediocre food and I wanted to hook up on it being racist I told him conversation over have a blessed day he came back and approached me when I had my head down and made another sarcastic comment saying it's spelled with a v not a p spell his name right and all of a sudden it went left from there he tried to fight me he called me disrespectful words he even was racist towards me and told me I was banned because I was kind to him and did not argue with him I have two witnesses that was there that I don't know and they don't know me but they said he was out of line and they are willing to go with me further with this situation Steven showed he was very racist from the time we walked into the door he did not want to serve us as African-American people he was very unprofessional and he couldn't even tell me nothing about the food that I was ordering which I ordered a salad and he told me it was mediocre and I wanted it for free he said you people always wanting something free I think that was very judgmental and racist Steven told me he was more comfortable talking to the people that he already knew from coming in there he did not make me feel welcome as an African-American and the things that he said was very racist and I'm glad it was other customers that didn't know me and heard him

Steve"n" the management was incredibly rude to his staff. They clearly walk on eggshells around him. The ones behind the bar tonight were attentive and and kind and met our needs. "Wish i had remembered their names feb 12 at 940" Girl with tattoos and younger man that was being scolded by mr steve the entire time were amazing. Do better. You're managing "steve" we wont be returning.

My first time here. It was on a Wednesday probably around 9 pm , went straight to the bar area, and was ignored. Ordered 2 drinks and some wings with onion rings. Food was cold and wings were not good. Finished the drinks, and asked for another one after waving the bartender down, and she completely forgot my drink. I asked again for the drink, giving her the benefit of the doubt. Waitedf about 10 minutes when I realized she forgot again.

Great place but no one knows how to put on the Ranger Game and nobody at the bar wants to take my food order. It's Wed night at 7:23pm, been here since 6:45. They have a celebrity chefs show on. I'm sitting at the bar waiting. Will have to go somewhere else to watch the Rangers and eat wings. Very sad. This Brandon person they're waiting for to change the channel must not be very good at his job.

For years we’ve gone here and had so much fun. The servers were fantastic and the atmosphere was great. As long as the chiefs weren’t playing you could easily enjoy your time upstairs playing darts. The bartender says a server will be there at 7. A server shows up, there are only 2 other groups of people up there and she talks to each of the other groups but not us. We had to initially go get our own drinks at the bar which is fine but when I’m told a server will be there at 7 I would expect them to be attentive to all of the patrons up the ramp. This is not the case. A group of 5 shows up and she immediately tends to them and still not once came to us. Prior to coming here it was said the last couple times the service was bad and I made the comment that the place is cool and bad service a couple times don’t mean we shouldn’t ever go back. So we decided to go and what do you know. Very bad service. The owner/manager whoever needs to employ serves who truly understand what customer service is. Completely ignoring 2 people who will gladly pay any cost to drink and have fun most certainly lost you that business. We won’t be back.
