Opinions de Curry Bliss Richardson
I found this place by accident. I was headed to a different place to eat and saw a sing saying Indian style buffet. I checked it out. Good food here, the server was very tenniff. Resembly priced.
We came around 7:15pm on a Monday. We made a reservation because we were unsure of seating, but were able to get right in. There were two gentleman working, and they were both really attentive and kept coming to refill drinks and check on the table. The place was clean and played nice Indian music low enough that you could still talk. There was no buffet option at that time. We ordered veggie samosas, the Butter Tikka Masala and Vindeloo. Both w rice and garlic naan. The Chicken 555 and Sweet and Spicy Chicken Soup. We got medium spicy for everything, and that was perfect spice level. The mango lassie and chai were amazing! All the food was fresh and hot. The soup is a must! We also got a dessert, though, I am unsure of the name. It was a type of pudding..served warm and very well spiced, too. We will definitely return!!! 10/10 **most things are big enough to share between two people**
I'm a very big fan of curry, and I found this place to be authentic Indian food. I don't remember the curry name but it was made with cheese chunks. It was very creamy and had a thick, rich and, full. Customer service was outstanding as well. I highly recommend it to every one. Overall wonderful experience.
Came here for the lunch buffet, and it was delicious! There were tons of great vegetarian options with a lot of variety to satisfy everyone's appetite. The dosa and butter naan were especially good. A very reasonable price for all that we ate. We will definitely be back.
This place is fantastic! Our server was so friendly and funny, and made great conversation. We felt so welcomed! The menu has something for everyone - from meat dishes to vegetarian, gluten-free, and even vegan. Everything we ordered was beyond delicious. Wonderful food and service. We will definitely be back. 💯 give them a try!
We had a great lunch here. Samosas were crispy and flavorful, as were the chutneys. Saag Paneer and Chicken Tikka Masala were spectacular. The owner educated us about the delicious Indian beer we tried and loved! This will become a frequent stop for us on weekends for sure.
Definitely 💯. This experience begins with a friendly welcome from their hostesses. The food? DELICIOUS 😋 delish delish delicious 😋I only found one spicy dish but was bearable. They also have a variety of desserts, chai tea is included and my favorite was a beet kind. The place is clean and very spacious. A+. My cherry on top is the beautiful background music😍
Weekend and holiday buffet is $19.99 plus tax Wow! My first time here. Safe to bring carnivore friends here as they have 4 meat dishes included on the buffet. The meat sections are away from veg items so it is very vegetarian friendly. 15 hot vegetarian items on buffet, plus 2 soups, 8 cold items, fresh naan brought to your table, freshly made dosa brought to your table, and a good chai, all included. Though today they did not have my favorite, sag paneer, they had other paneer dishes that were wonderful. Plenty of fresh fruit and all of my family's favorite desserts; rice kheer, mango pudding, and gulob jamin (sorry, I can't spell) I have never heard of Gobi Manchurian before, if you are carnivore and like orange chicken or general's chicken that you find at Chinese restaurants, you will love the Gobi Manchurian. It is made with cauliflower instead of chicken and if you were not told, you would think that you're eating very tender chicken. I'm going to have to come back just for this dish alone. If you are into little touches, I just noticed as I'm finishing up, the manga pudding has mango slices in it and they've actually put a walnut piece on top of each of the gulab jamun on the buffet. What a nice little touch that you usually don't see on a buffet. Atmosphere is bright and lively. One of my best buffet experiences in a very long time.
Would definitely recommend! The taste and quality is some of the best Indian food I’ve had. Some places are too heavy and greasy. Everything here tasted fresh and spiced just right. Their lunch buffet has a good variety including vegetarian options. The service was great and they offered additional items not on the buffet line. Just ask them for something you’d like!
Excellent buffet with great food and excellent service. We went for a buffet and it had four different appetizers and four different curries along with the rest of the rice varieties, desserts and so on. The vegetarian dishes are separated from non-vegetarian ones, which is especially appreciative. Desserts include seasoned fruits and Indian sweets asking with a nice chai.
Definitely go to Curry Bliss!!! We went there for dinner and the food was absolutely DELICIOUS. The staff was so kind and helpful and the restaurant had a very thoughtful ambiance. They had sweet corn soup too which was so delicious. We ordered their aloo parantha and paneer kulcha which was super soft. We also ordered tandoori roti and it was cooked VERY well. Their curries are awesome too and the desert Ras malai was good too. Overall Curry Bliss is definitely a good experience. 😄
Very friendly service and assistance ordering for take out. Once I got home, I found the food was extremely well packaged and individually wrapped. Each dish was well flavoured to the spice level I had requested and portions were generous for the price. I ordered northern Indian Matar Paneer, Aloo Gobi, Baingan Bharta, Chole Saag, and Allo Paratha. They also offer a buffet. A great overall experience.
Tried the Indian buffet here and it was really good! The food tasted amazing and had great flavors. The place was nice and clean too. Only thing — the utensils could use an upgrade, they didn’t look that great. Overall, totally worth it for some tasty Indian food!
Pretty good indian restaurant. Aloo paratha was really good. We also ordered hakka noodles, which was good. North Indian thali was average. Gobi munchirian tasted good but would have been better if it was more crispy and browned a little more. I appreciate that the food was not too salty like some other Indian restaurant.
Good size restaurant. They had an email sign up on their webpage which I took advantage of as they had a promotion going on for a free dessert. They have a good bit of vegeterian items to select from in their menu which is impressive. We were greeted warmly upon arrival. We reached earlier in the evening and there weren't too many people. I had reserved a booth so we got one. Good ambiance and soft melodious music (Not the bollywood blast like in some other indian restaurants). Following are the details for what we ordered and all dishes are rated out of 5 stars. - Gobi Manchurian - 5 stars. Probably the best gobi manchurian I've had so far (India or US). Crispy on the outside, medium spice level, tangy and tasty. Oh and a very good size portion. Normally I've seen gobi manchurian get soggy in minutes after it arrives at your table. I wish could give it like 8 out of 5 stars - It was so good - Sweet corn soup - 3.5 stars. A bit sweeter than normal. Also normally with sweet corn soup there is chilli vinegar and soy sauce server which was not the case here. - Hot and sour soup - 3.5 stars - Definitely unique taste with an indian touch. Quite spicy. - Dahi Bhalle - 2.5 stars. The bhallas seemed freshly fried but normally bhallas(fried paties) are soaked in water and pressed hard to get all the oil out before putting it in dahi (yogurt). That was not the case here and the bhallas did not soak any of the dahi and taste was also just okay. - North Indian Thali - 3.8 stars overall Thali items rating - Raita 3 stars (a bit too creamy texture for raita for us)., Mutter paneer - 5 stars, Dal Makkhani - 5 stars, Aalo curry - 3.5 stars, Navratan korma - 3.5 stars, biriyani - 4 stars, rice 5 stars, chapati - 3.5 stars, kheer - 3.5 stars, Halwa - 5 stars - Salad 2 stars(onions and leamon slice - worst ever! seemed like they had this cut before hand and straight away brought from the refrigerator - Lets just say I did not eat it and kept it far away from my plate), Wada - 4 stars - Chole bhature - Chole were great - 5 stars but the bhatura was not something that you could eat more than a couple of bites of. So only 4 stars over all. - Ras malai(dessert) - 3.0 stars. It was okay. Seemed like they had just microwaved it, since the malai pattie was warm from the inside. - bang for the buck - 3.5 stars prices for the dishes and the quantity was at par I would say - Customer service - 5 stars - Awesome customer service. Courteous and smiling faces. - Time taken to get the food to our table - 3.0 stars. Even though we were among the first few, it took a long time (like 25 - 30 min) for some of the dishes to arrive. - Ambiance - 4 stars ---------------------------------- - Over all 4 stars
I had the lunch buffet for around $17 (including taxes). While the selection isn't extensive, it's reasonable for the price. The buffet offered idli, sambhar, butter naan, dosa, chilli chicken, chicken curry, paneer butter masala, rajma, and curd rice. For dessert, there was gajar halwa, kheer, and dudh sevai. Overall, the taste was average, but the chicken curry was good. The paneer curry wasn't great. I didn't enjoy the gajar halwa; it was cold and seemed old, but the dudh sevai and kheer were good.
I bought Hyderabad chicken dum biryani from this place and My God, I haven’t eaten anything like it before. I had to throw away more than half. No spices and absolute bland. If I can give less than a single star I would give. Visiting Dallas from another place, I had so much anticipation and the food I bought from here left me hungry, because it was trash.
Terrible food. Dosa chutneys were worst I have had in life. Naan was burnt. Goat curry had 3 bones and no meat. Absolutely do not recommend. Update: I also had ordered biryani and decided to try that as well and see and not to my surprise it was burnt too. Really horrible taste. How does one screw up a chicken biryani? I have never thrown food before in my life so this was a first
