This place turned out to be a very pleasant and unexpected surprise 😀. Here's the story: Last night my girlfriend and I were planning to eat Italian for dinner, but we fell asleep early and took an unplanned nap. When we woke up at 9:10, the majority of Italian restaurants nearby were closed, and only a few were open until 10. Not enough time for us to decide which place to choose, what to order, and for me to go get it. This was pretty much the only nearby Italian place open past 10, closing at 11. I briefly noticed the 4.4 star rating without reading any of the reviews, not wanting to waste time, and figured it was good enough. And it was our only choice in any case. But for some reason I thought this place would be mediocre. But oh how I was surprised! We ordered the medium roasted garlic chicken pizza on hand tossed crust, spaghetti and meatballs with Italian salad, chicken cacciatore with Olive Oil's special salad, the chocolate suicide cake, and the Italian cream cake. I ordered the two pasta dishes instead of one, because when I saw how low the price was, I thought it wouldn't be enough food. The order was estimated to be ready in 20 mins, and when I got there 25 mins later, the order was ready to go, and I was out the door in a minute or two. As soon as I got the order in my hands, the first thing I noticed was how heavy and hot it was. It felt like a lot of food, and so hot that they just made it. When I got back home, as soon as I walked in the door, my girlfriend couldn't wait and had to try the pizza. As soon as she took the first bite, the look on her face said it all! It was the best pizza she had eaten in a long time! Then I opened up the pasta dishes and was more surprised! The chicken cacciatore was packed with chicken, peppers, and onions, and it was mainly for me. It tasted good initially, not great, but got better as I continued, and was very satisfying. To my surprise, as I was closing in on finishing it, I was starting to get full, and I hadn't even eaten the bread, salad, or pizza yet! Then I tried the spaghetti and meatballs, and wow! I thought the chicken was good, but this was so good that I felt like finishing it even though I knew I would be over stuffed. The meatballs were huge, and very soft and tasty. And I loved that both dishes had angel hair pasta, which I felt was perfect. The bread was ok by itself, but definitely tastes better with the pasta. Then we both tried the Olive Oil's special salad. It was a lot more than we were expecting from a side salad, packed with olives, a lot of tomato, enough artichoke, enough onion, and the dressing was excellent. We both deemed it the best salad we've had in a long time. We didn't even get to try the other salad, because we wanted to leave room for dessert 😀. The Italian cream cake was again, the best we've had in a long time, as was the chocolate cake. The chocolate cake was VERY rich, and both cakes were big slices, and cold, which I loved. This place was a huge unexpected surprise in every way, the quality and amount of food, and the price. We still had half of the pizza, most of the spaghetti and meatballs, and the entire Italian side salad leftover for today! This is our new favorite Italian place, and we can't wait to try the rest of their vast menu!

So glad I found Olive Oils Pizza because this was the best pizza that I've had in a long time. Customer service is awesome- very friendly and down to earth employees working in the front and back. I ordered the combo pizza with beef and added green olives. Pizza was hot, fresh and delicious. I'll definitely be coming back :)

1st time ordering from here was nice :). They had a great deal on the menu- it’s a little frustrating ordering online because the “specials” have no coupon number so discount can’t be applied but they help over the phone. We got 2 huge cheese pizzas fresh & delicious! My family of 5 absolutely devoured them was just enough for us all to be content 10/10 recommend if you’re looking for a cheap fresh local pizza

My go to spot for pizza. The people here are great and make your pizza how you want it. If they read this then I would tell them the pizza sauce is a little lacking in flavor. Maybe some more salt and pepper with some oregano.

Super good pizza. Their special is really good if you like a lot of garlic and olives. It is New York style and I think some of the reviews on here don't account for that. It's not going to taste like whatever you're used to eating at a cheap chain.

Awesome, awesome just delicious! Tried the Chicken Parmigiana pizza and a pepperoni with white sauce. Very good both of them, I can’t decide which one is better. This is a take out only pizza place, but no matter, it’s clean and well lit. There is of course plenty of parking and it’s easy to get there (here?) ha ha ha. The people working are friendly and the prices are very reasonable. Will def return.

My Dad and I are from New York, so we know what AMAZING pizza tastes like, and can I tell you we were shook that this place made such great pizza that taste like it was made from New York! Please don't let the store front discourage you,It's also poorly located but they make some really good pizzas!! The picture is the first time we tried their pizza, this was like $6 for a 12inch cheese, SO WORTH IT.

This has been my new go to pizza place. The quality of the food is super consistent and I’ve been itching to write this review for sometime! I recommend ordering pick up as my one and only delivery experience was not pleasant in the wait time (delivery driver made multiple further deliveries before me). I hope to continue ordering pick up in the future as the food alone is where the quality lies.

Not bad, but definitely not worth 30+ bucks. I ordered the vegetarian with some extra veggies and I taste no sauce. Also their side sauces are tiny and weren’t included in my total even tho I had asked over the phone so I had to pay extra once picked up. Didnt leave me with a “satisfied” or “good deal” feeling. Probably wont be back

Legitimately good food with very mediocre service. I picked up an order today from the store, a young man (thin dark shaggy hair) was working the counter. He didn't say a word the whole interaction. Odd choice by the management to hire a mime to work the counter.

Great Food - RUDE Management. Last month, I posted that I was charged extra for an ingredient swap on one of their specialty pizzas and told that it was MY responsibility to tell them it was a swap and not an addition. WELL, apparently that's not an option anymore. Made the same order as last time, emphasizing that I was SWAPPING green olives for green peppers and I was again charged extra for the swap. This time, I was told that green olives are slightly more expensive than peppers and they were charging me extra anyway. Was told the same thing from 2 employees and the manager came up and was rude, condescending and told me "He was NOT going to argue..." So, since the new owner's policy is to nickle and dime his customers, I think I'm going to have to find another pizza place. Too bad, since I really like their food.

We are new to Richardson and tried this spot out. We loved the meat monster, but wished the toppings were more substantial. The next time we added green pepper, and it was incredibly expensive to add but we did. The pieces were so small they couldn't even taste them. For the expensive price and very small toppings, we likely will try someplace else. We will miss the crust!

The pizza was okay. They gave us a time frame to come back and pick up the pizza, when I picked it up it was warmish, we didn’t even leave the parking lot. The customer service is horrible, at least today. When I went in to place my order I got blank stares, not one person acknowledged me and I was the only one there at the time. They walked past the front talking to each other. After a couple minutes the girl came to to take my order. When my mom went in to get the pizza another worker seemed dazed when she asked for napkins and plates. Probably won’t go back.

The pizza here is very delicious. I paid about $32 for a humongous thick crust pizza with bacon and ham. This is definitely one of the top 5 pizzas I’ve ever had in my life. It was cooked to perfection. With that said, there was an employee that was very aggressive and rude. The first employee that rang me up was a very polite girl who I would give 5 stars to. When I came back a little while later to pick up the pizza, the second employee had a horrible attitude. At first he handed me the pizza, but when I asked for extra napkins or an empty styrofoam container to use for serving the food in my car, he gave me a dirty look and gave me the tiniest stack of paper thin napkins. I could tell he was visibly frustrated so I accepted the napkins and went on my way. Once I got back to the car to share the pizza with my passengers, it was obvious that the extremely thin napkins were going to handle the ginormous pizza slices. I went back to politely ask again for an empty to go container, but he gave me a weird look and said “no”. I had just spent $32 on a pizza and you can’t give me a disposable to-go container? I said please, and he said “nah dawg you can trip about it”, in other words he said no and that he doesn’t care. I then asked if I could speak to a manager. He walked to the back, then a couple of minutes later he walked back over and handed it to me begrudgingly. If you decide to come here to enjoy the amazing pizza I would think twice if you see this man working the register. He seemed to be in his early 20s, about 5’11”, African American, a gold mouth grill, with black medium dreaded hair with medium brown tips.

The pizza is good, however, employee was very rude over the phone. I called to order a pizza and the employee was very short with me initially. Then when I asked for gluten free crust, he said they didn't have gluten free. I informed him the online menu does say there is a gluten free option. Instead of an apology (or anything resembling a kind tone), I received another rude, "yeah, we don't have it." Really would love to order from here again some day, but I value good customer service and kind employees.

The young lady at the front counter was very nice and friendly. I accidentally ordered my pizza wrong online & wanted to add pepperonis on top. The young lady went to the back to ask the manager & the manager said no it was not possible. I ordered another pizza with just pepperoni & asked to speak with the manager because I did not understand why I could not add additional toppings if I was willing to pay for them. After a back & forth between the manager & the young lady (that I was able to see) the manager came up with an attitude & rudely told me that she in fact could add the pepperoni but the crust might burn a little. I asked if I could be refunded for the pizza that i wasn’t going to eat & she said no because it was my fault. Customer service skills could be worked on. Maybe she’s had a long day, but her attitude was very nasty & her approach was very off putting. Everyone doesn’t want something for free. I understood that the pizza was ordered incorrectly, however I was willing to pay for the mistake that I made. I asked if there was a number I could call to make a complaint & she said no. So I’m leaving this review here. The pizza is really good. I order it all the time, but this was a horrible experience.

Great food, terrible management with poor attitudes. Needed an uncut cheese pizza for a baby’s 1st birthday photo shoot so called ahead to ensure it was uncut and confirmed again before pick up. At pick up, was told all pizzas get cut and it is what it is. He said I shouldn’t waste a perfectly good pizza and if I want another it’ll be 15-20 minutes which ran into my photo session. He furthermore said he would never do an uncut pizza again so don’t make these types of requests which was not communicated at the time the order was placed and upon confirmation. Staff confirmed an order and did not follow instructions, then gaslit a paying customer.

Well I wish the original owners had not sold there business. I had a problem with my order that I placed on the establishments own website. The picture showed a pepperoni pizza on build your own and it only allowed to pick a size and what type of crust. Did not allow you to pick any thing else, so I figured that was a pepperoni pizza. What was delivered was a cheese pizza.when I called to tell them, I was told this is what I ordered a cheese pizza. This is a heads up. Best to call and place your order. The food is not that good tasting.

Horrible customer service. I accidentally ordered the wrong pizza and called to correct 5 min after placing the order. As a loyal customer for years I apologized profusely for the mix up and asked if the pizza could be me correctly. The owner Robert proceeded to tell me “ what do you expect me to do with the pizzas I already made and I see what kind of customer you are” before hanging up on me. I called back to ask to have my cc info to be removed from the system and was hung up on again. I never gave permission to have my cc info saved into their system and frankly it’s a little concerning.

And they aren’t as busy as usual, even on a Friday. I thought I had a normal request, but, frankly, the staff has made me feel like an idiot. And now I have no pizza.

Walked in here, and I literally had to wait 10 minutes for the guy to come up to me and take my order. It took so long, I literally had to open and close the door multiple times so he could hear the ring because I didn't want to shout inside. He also made me give me my phone number, which was very strange because I was staying inside the restaurant. Took him 10 minutes to make a caeser salad. Keep in mind I was literally the only customer there. Oh, and they don't do pizza by the slice.
