First time trying CAVA, placed an order online for drive through pick up. Price is reasonable imo for the portion that you get. We got the harissa avocado bowl and a build your own pita. The bowl was generously filled with the chosen ingredients, plenty of chicken and came with a quarter slice of pita on the side. The pita was the same way, generous helping of grilled chicken, hummus and a few other ingredients that I picked. I think most of the ingredients are fresh, the spices that they use on their protein don't bloat me. Great for anyone looking to eat healthy, imo!

Yes, 5-stars after eating our lunch meal of two days ago as leftovers. We got 2 different bowls and ate only 1/2 and brought rest home. 1st visit to this franchise that took over from many Zoes Kitchen locations. We opted to pick from their set menu but one can build their own bowl. Their pita wrap looked too big for use to eat in one meal so we got the bowls. Most customers on Sat were take out.

Cava is a Mediterranean restaurant with a great location in Richardson. The food is tasty and the service is great, but parking can be limited. If you're looking for a delicious and healthy meal, Cava is a great option.

Delicious! Love this location. Efficient line, and amazing food every time. The protein portions are very generous, I can usually make 2 meals out of one bowl. I did notice they were out of quite a few dressings last time I was there but gave me an opportunity to try their Caesar and it was amazing.

Finally tried this place out and I gotta say the food was really good! It had tons of flavor especially for a healthier option than most quick dining places. The girl at the initial order station could have been more friendly and helpful but that won't stop me from coming back here again.

Anyways we finally got a chance to go inside an actual Cava restaurant, order and eat there. It was good. The staff is friendly and they work fast. Really yummy and healthy quick eat. We enjoyed everything about CAVA. The friendly staff, variety of choices of spreads, base, proteins, toppings, sauces etc, ambiance, cleanliness....everything. I liked that kid's plate comes with a lid, which made it very convenient to take left overs home, instead of looking for a to-go box. We ordered one Pita wrap, one bowl, and two kids plates. I really liked how they prepared Pita wrap very systematically instead of just dumping things in pita. They started with three spreads and spreaded it evenlly on entire pita. Next they placed the greens in the middle, carbs on one side and protein on other and then toppings and sauces all over. What this did was, when they closed it, every single bite had a little bit of everything. Each bite filled with flavors, jucyness, freahness, crispness...making your mouth and senses completely satisfied. I hope this is not just the art of the person who made my pita but actually the fact that the staff has been trained to make it just perfect. Highly recommend this place. My husband is gluten free vegan and very sensitive to cross contamination. He felt very clean after our lunch here and that tells me that the food is eaqually clean behind the walls too, not just in the front 🥰

I love Cava. The food is consistently fresh. I did show up on this particular day at the end of lunch rush around 1:30; the rice was kind of stale and dry, but this was the first time that's ever happened after many visits. I'll give Cava a pass, because it's always 5 star!

Only the second time to try CAVA. Food selection was very good, lots to choose from. Was able to assemble a salad that I liked. Lettuce was crispy, chicken was warm, and the Thani Cesar dressing went well with it. Friends I were with raved about CAVA and said that it was one of their favorites. Plenty of seating available even during lunch was great to see.

I had to edit my review. The first time I went, I ordered the signature lamb bowl which was expensive and not large and few toppings. I can't pay $17 for a lunch portion. You gotta order right. I built my bowl for $12 with chicken and asked for one scoop of all the free toppings. It was a huge bowl and obviously, amazing fresh ingredients. I have completely changed my mind on this place and love it!

I love coming to this location by my work even on my day off because of the service. The food is great but the staff is even better. The manager, Ann is always so warm and welcoming. Has best suggestions and is extremely friendly. I would suggest try there harissa chicken if you havent had it already. I use to get their Salads with Harissa chicken but now my new obsession is there wraps (thanks to Ann's suggetion)

We stopped by for lunch on a Thursday and had a fantastic experience! Although the line was a medium length, it moved incredibly quickly, which was a huge plus. ​The service truly stood out. Josh greeted us with genuine enthusiasm, offered excellent suggestions for our food, and was super friendly. Angelina, who topped our bowls, was equally friendly and provided helpful recommendations. The cashier was quick, efficient, and ensured our order was correct for dining in. ​Overall, the food was amazing! We especially enjoyed the new chicken shawarma—it was exceptionally good. We are so glad we decided to visit and will definitely be returning soon!

I came here with my sister two weeks ago it was my first time. So you can either choose to build your own salad which is what we did or you can get one of the salads they have available on the menu. The salad I put together was amazing! All the ingredients were fresh. I like the lentils the roasted corn but most of all this crazy feta dip thing they had that was delicious. The staff was awesome and the atmosphere was great. It is a little pricey but well worth it. Definitely planning on coming back.

Been ordering from this location consistently for a few months now. I've noticed that the morning crew is significantly more stingy than the closing crew. In fact the closing/afternoon crew usually serves good and fair portions for the price we pay. Regardless it is delicious but that is definitely a consistent issue here.

I've ordered twice so far from here! On my first visit, I tried the pre curated menu items (Harissa Avocado Bowl and Spicy Chicken Avocado Bowl). Both were pretty good and was enough food for lunch and dinner. I did a BYOB on my next visit and decided to try the meatballs. The meatballs were kinda dry and lacking flavor - wasn't as big of a fan compared to the chicken. Overall, Cava is a decent place for generous portions and healthier food options.

Great for a quick build your own bowl during the lunch rush place. You cannot go wrong with the chicken, but if you want a little adventure add the lamb meatballs. They are a little gamy, but I feel lamb and goat will always have that quality. I've only been here 3 times so I'm not the expert but the green dressing is the best topper. I go for white rice, super greens, 1/2chicken & 1/2 lamb balls, red & reg hummus, tzatziki, pickled onions, diced cucumber and tomatoe, avocado and the green sauce.

Service was very sterile in my opinion. However Kendra did a great job saving face. She was nice, had a smile on her face and was happy to help. She got service 3 stars on her own. Great job.

Came here during lunchtime and it was absolutely hectic with a long wait in line. It's basically a Mediterranean chipotle. Food quality and selection were really good. Glad that they had outdoor seating. I'll probably be back when I'm feeling that kind of food.

I'm not sure what happened here. This location used to be my favorite go to but it has been going down the last few months. The portion sizes and the quality of the food is not the same. Last time I went they were out of everything while the staff just stood around talking. It was one guy working the line (he seemed new). He had to keep asking for stuff for the line Because it was empty. First visit. Lunch with my son. We both had bowls and went half-and-half between lentils and lettuce. I had the braised lamb as a protein and also chicken. I found the sauces to be delightful. All of the toppings were very fresh. Everything seem to be produced on site. We both light our meals and normally would find this a slam dunk win. I was surprised by the very significant charge for the braised lamb but that’s on me. I could not see the sign because the print was small. I, my big problem was the cleanliness of the men’s restroom. If that is a fail, how can you consider the cleanliness of the rest of the restaurant? Well, probably because the urinal is mounted too low, a very large portion of the floor was flooded with urine. The bathroom smell very bad. It was disgusting. I’m not sure how they can fix this outside of extreme cleaning measures and moving the urinal. That said, it was bad enough that I won’t come back anytime soon. I really can’t think of a better way to express how offputting that part of the experience was. Everything said, it’s very sad that a eating establishment can provide a product which is high-quality and fairly priced while delicious and still not be on my favorites list. ********** F A I L !!!! **********

The food is awesome. The service and store layouts always suck. I always order from the app for pick-up. My foods never on time. I always have to ask for my drink cup, and there is no signage or staff to let you know where to pick up your order. Every single time it would.have been quicker to wait in the line that moves at a glacial pace.

Me and my girlfriend decided to stop here for dinner and there was probably five or six employees between the kitchen, and we were the only customers there at night. Only one guy was helping. Prepare the food and bring us up. Instead of multiple people helping to speed up the process. Only one person was really doing any work, and it took really a long time for him to do everything. Food was good. Only problem. I had was with my sauce, SKHUG, was extremely water down. I’ve been to multiple locations, so this is the first time I’ve ever seen this sauce water down. It was very obvious… I hate to say, but I don’t recommend this location based on the workers And service that we got there.

Food quality is good when it’s actually in stock, if you get the right worker you’ll get a good portion, but if you get a bad one you’ll get a portion that feeds mice. 3 different occasions, once in morning, around dinner time and afternoon, they were out of stock on sauces and add on sides.

I was at this Cava last Thursday with two other people. Our order ended up being around $29. I have the Cava app and always scan for points when I order. I scanned my QR code like I normally do, and heard the scanning device beep as if it registered the QR code. It’s been over 48 hours, and the points aren’t in my account, so I assume it didn’t work. The young guy (blond I believe) who was making our order and at the register didn’t tell me it didn’t work, and he also didn’t offer us a receipt. As a college student who frequents Cava weekly, it’s disheartening when points I was planning to use don’t ever make it to my account because the staff doesn’t seem to care enough to notify me when there’s an issue. In general, Cava employee don’t seem happy to be there at all, but most locations I’ve been to still at least offer me a receipt. Furthermore, the employee didn’t give my friend his free pita that comes with a bowl. Also, when my friend asked for a medium drink, the boy said “we ran out of medium cups, we have large or small,” (something along those lines). At other Cava locations, if they’ve run out of medium cups, they automatically just hand you a large cup (which I believe makes sense because I don’t think the guest should have to pay extra for the store not having enough supplies). Obviously these are minor things (except the points I’m really annoyed about that…) but it’s just worth noting that I feel most Cava employees at the locations I’ve been to in Dallas and Austin usually are not happy to be there, yet I still manage to have a good experience. This time however, the young blond guy working didn’t tell me my points didn’t go through, didn’t give me a receipt, didn’t mention my friend’s free pits, and made my friend choose a smaller drink size instead of accommodating due to the store’s lack of medium cups. Very disappointed, and probably won’t come back since I’ve had much better experiences at the Cava on Belt Line. Also the sweet tea (which is usually the best sweet tea in my opinion) was not sweet at all. It tasted like they put the unsweetened in the wrong container. Update: I emailed Cava customer service and they were able to search for, find my transaction, and add the points to my account. I appreciate Cava's support team for their help with this!

I had CAVA in the University Park area and the bowl they gave me was full. I come to this location on my way to work and the bowl was only halfway filled, not to mention I got the old leftover spicy lamb meatballs. I paid 18 dollars for this tiny bowl - which is highway robbery for food. If I would've known I would get so little food, I would've eaten elsewhere.

I’m vegetarian and love Cava…but this location is disgusting inside. I counted 7 and then later 8 people behind the counter, yet EVERY table was filthy with crumbs, sauce, and left utensils. Poor management! One girl was even standing there just watching. I had to clean my own table, so I could sit and eat with my son. Filthy…never coming back to this specific location.

If you have a gluten allergy or sensitivity, do NOT eat here. I’ve eaten here a handful of times. Half of the time, there’s been pita chip strips in my bowl when I didn’t order them. It’s not worth the misery I’m currently feeling due to their carelessness. Not sure why you can check an allergy in the app if the will willingly put it in your food without a request.

I don't really know on how to start this review, but let's start by saying that I was craving for Mediterranean food and google suggested this location since I live like 10 minutes away. When I got there it was around 9:15 pm so I greet the personal being respectful but in exchange the guy said something like wuss up man but ok I guess new generation does not have manners no more. Now, talking about the food everything was half empty and old food. I asked what time they're were going to close thinking maybe 10:00pm and maybe that was the motive but NO they said 10:30pm so I commented "might as well just close now" because they had everything empty and old. If I'm getting free food I undertand and I wouldn't be complaining but I was going to pay for shitty food. Maybe the personal is getting underpaid or something but it seems that they don't want to be there. I picked up my order and quickly realized the chips were rock solid—completely inedible. I went back inside and explained the issue, and to their credit, the staff was polite and gave me a new bag. Unfortunately, the second batch was just as bad. Hard as a rock. I couldn’t even eat them. It honestly felt like I was going to break a tooth trying. At that point, I just gave up. Really disappointing experience. I expect better quality from CAVA, especially when trying something new on the menu. Definitely not worth the hype—or the dental risk.

I got CAVA from this location delivered from Uber Eats. Delivery went by smoothly, but the quality of the food was not great. My Greens & Grains bowl was the temperature of ice. The manager on the phone line told me they “don’t refrigerate” anything in the entire store, which can’t be true because when you walk in, you can see the lettuce and toppings refrigerator in the front…Food tasted like they forgot to heat up the RightRice and Protein selections in my bowl, and still packed it up and sent it out. Unfortunately, I won’t be ordering from this location again. Don’t waste your time.

UPDATE: gave them another chance… what a fail. management is horrible here. What happened to this location!?! Updating my review. It was 5 stars…. Not anymore. We’ve been loyal customers of CAVA, dining here 1–2 times a week because it used to be great. Unfortunately, over the past 4–6 weeks, the service and quality have taken a serious downturn. The dine-in line is frequently out of basic ingredients like spinach, avocado, and broccoli, yet those same items are available in the back for the drive-thru. We’ve had to practically demand that staff go check the drive-thru line for ingredients they claim they don’t have. That’s ridiculous and completely unacceptable for a restaurant that prides itself on freshness and consistency. There also never seem to be any pita chips ready, the only side dish they offer. It’s frustrating to see the same issues week after week with no improvement. It feels like management isn’t keeping up with inventory or staff training. The team often seems unprepared, slow, and unapologetic about the situation. What happened to this place? This location used to be reliable, fresh, and well-run. Now it’s just disappointing.

Horrible! This lady who works here is trying to sell items while at work! Drove 30+ minutes come to find out she blocked me because she can’t coordinate right and complete wasted my time! Needs to be fired immediately! No one answers phone to complain as to why she’s texting and making arrangements on the clock!!!!! Called store phone over 5 times and no one answers!! This place is a joke!

Food is usually good here. Walked out tonight because the older lady at the front was kind of rude. I wanted a pita with braised lamb (which is so darn good) and at first she was insisting that I either get steak or chicken. I eventually was able to convince her I wanted neither. I then asked for rice on my pita which I know isn’t usual but staff usually accommodate, but just She straight up said no. at that point I just walked out as i didn’t really feel like having to argue about every single aspect of my meal.

Rude staff! Lady with crutches as manager she was yelling at me and my family and we were paying customers up until we saw they had no food cooked whatsoever. The Soda machine was not working as well. Not greeted, felt like i was in the ghetto. "can't take pictures of our staff" ma'am you're on crutches isn't that a health violation? why is she in the back and trying to attack my mother?!?!? Owner needs to review this immediately.

First time here and it took 15 minutes for me to get my food! The food was cold and definitely did not look like the picture. Everything sloppy I didn’t know how to even start eating it. Is this supposed to be served cold? Cold chicken cold rice I would really like a refund please

Disappointing Experience I paid $14.40 expecting a portion size that reflected the price. However, when I opened the bowl at home, I was surprised to find such a small amount of food that the bottom of the container was clearly visible. Unfortunately, this ruined my dinner and left me very dissatisfied. I will not be returning, and I plan to share my experience across food review platforms, including Google. In my opinion, this meal did not offer fair value for the money paid.

Really? 5 measly pieces of lettuce and a sprinkle of tomato cucumber in my online order. I normally don’t go to this location. I was disappointed in the portion size!
