Tried this place for lunch today and had their small pho tai bo vien and spring rolls. Loved the spring rolls. They were large and fresh. The pho broth was very tasty. I did not add extra plum sauce as it was already sweet enough.. I will def come back to try their other dishes. Oh and lastly, the price is great! Less than other places for sure. 👍

Lowkey local neighborhood Vietnamese restaurant in Richardson. Food was delicious, everything tasted very homey and fresh. The vermicelli chicken bowl was very so fresh and bright, chicken was juicy and tender. The salad fresh, even though it was simple it was one of the best I’ve had.

Did not want to share! Our pocket list! Best Pho place with high CP value! Good portion of food with less $10 per dish. Delicious grilled pork, egg rolls, pho, and ice Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk! Once you have food here, you think about them or dream about them.

Super delicious aromatic pho, tender beef, lots of noodles. Spring rolls were also lovely with the peanut sauce. Portions are very generous and so inexpensive. Very kind and quick service, cute place with a nice atmosphere :)

Unassuming, quiet eatery close to a park I run at. I popped in to try their banh mi. The bread was good. Sandwich was filled with fresh veggies. The grilled pork was the better of the 2 sandwiches I ordered but that’s my personal fave. I truly did not expect it to be as good as it was and that’s always a lovely surprise. I hope more and more people visit bc it truly was quite good.

If you want great Vietnamese food in Richardson then Pho OK is for you. Came here for lunch and had their Hu Tieu Tom Thi Muc (8.25$) and Bun Bo Hue (8.25$) and both were very good. Both dishes had nice flavor, not the best I’ve had but still relatively good. I love their portion size and prices probably the best in Richardson for a Vietnamese restaurant. The owner/server was extremely nice and friendly making it hard not to leave a big tip. I absolutely recommend Pho Ok to anyone that like to try Vietnamese food. You really can’t go wrong here.

We ordered spring rolls, pho tai and shaken beef. Pho was one of the best one we ever had. Spring rolls were okay and they were a little bit oily. Shaken beef portion was larger than expected. I could not finish it all. The restaurant was very quiet.

Pho broth is average, but it comes with the standard accoutrements and if you doctor it anyway it’s good enough. Does come with lots of meat which is super awesome. Egg noodle pho is awesome, hadn’t had that before. Would order it again. Did the pork version and it came with a huge pile of pork! Had to make 2 meals out of it. Both were delicious. The peanut sauce for the spring rolls is thick and delicious. Filled with shrimp and pork, very tasty. Eggrolls are also excellent. Larger than average with a great filling. A must order. Overall pretty great. Pho is always better in person since the broth never makes it home hot, but they pack it all so you can heat it up later. Big portions, great prices, nice folks. Would eat here again.

Phở OK is literally just OK. Not sure what the hype is all about. Broth wasn't clear and was on the sweeter side of the scale (probably added a lot of msg). I ordered Bún Bò Huế, and the flavor was okay. It didn't come with giò heo (pig's trotter). I also asked the waiter for Sa Tế (chili oil) and mắm (shrimp paste), but it wasn't delivered. It also didn't come with a side of banana blossom, white/purple cabbage, and minced leaves, which was very disappointing. I rate my dish a 3/5. Compared to Phở Tây Đô in Richardson, this Bún Bò Huế had more flavor, but lacked all other parts compared to Phở Tây Đô, which they delivered. My wife ordered Phở Tái Bò Viên, and like I mentioned above, she agreed that it was on the sweeter side before the condiments went in. There was no culantro (rau ngò gai), but that was already advertised in the menu when they said what garnishes would be brought out. Once she added the garnishes, Sriracha, Hoison sauce and lime juice, the broth got even sweeter, so if you prefer a more savory broth, skip the Hoison sauce altogether. My wife had shared two pieces of Bò Viên with me, and she said it felt like there were 4-6 large meatballs if they were put together, so there was definitely a generous amount of meat. My wife rates her phở a 3/5. I also ordered the egg rolls for the appetizer. The size of the egg rolls was bigger than your average egg roll and it was also very crispy, I just wished they had given me nước mắm (vietnamese fish sauce) instead of the sweet and sour chili sauce. Egg rolls, I'd give a 5/5 for the price and size. The service of this place, upon entering, I noticed a bunch of tables still not cleared of dishes. We were greeted and appointed to a table, but we weren't greeted by a waiter and sat at the table menu-less. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited. I waited for about 13 minutes until I decided to go get my own menu. I also had to remind the waiter that we weren't helped yet even though we were greeted. The service is unorganized. Waiter is definitely not attentive. Not once did they come check on us to see if everything was okay. I noticed customers not being greeted, seating themselves, and also going to the receptionist to remind the staff that they haven't been helped. This is the first time I encountered a restaurant that doesn't attend to their customers unless asked. Very disappointing. Service is a 0/5, but I can't rate a zero, so I'm stuck with the one star. Overall experience is a 2/5. Flavor is okay. Price is definitely cheaper than other phở restaurants. A large bowl is $9.25. If you're looking for a quick bite, then I do not recommend this place to you. For the experience, I'd say go for it. There are other dishes I would like to try and review, so I will be back, but the hype for the phở is misleading.

Their beef quality is good for the money in general. But if you eat here, you'd better be in excellent health because you need to outlive the time it takes for your order to actually arrive. There have been days when I seriously thought I would not have made it.
