Very clean, very friendly, and an overall great experience for a family owned diner, these guys rock and roll! My personal favorite as far as Mexican food goes in Ridgecrest. Plus I came in just for a couple of drinks and was immediately served/tended to by 3 different staff members with a warm and inviting smile on their faces! Chips were warm and the salsa was delicious along with my strawberry margarita.(Your server Caden(with a k?) deserves a raise he pays more attention to detail as far as servers go). Highly recommend for a family outing or just a couple; I came here by myself so if you're a loner, you're still encouraged to come here :). Happy Father's Day Sincerely, The Russian Cowboy

Food was good, bloody Mary was much bigger than expected and topped well. Service was slow toward then end of my meal, had to ask to pay after sitting for some time.

Came and had the cobb salad and was not disappointed. Service was friendly, and attentive. They met all my expectations. I returned a second time (I'm from out of town) and ordered the teriyaki chicken plate. I will give guys the update later. #yum

Pretty good food and friendly service. I go to a lot of different places to eat and I just had a good feeling when I walked in the door. Very inviting atmosphere. If I ever return to this area I will come here again.

Friendly staff, clean space. But the sandwiches didn't met our expectations. They were a bit small (considering the price) and extremely salty.

As of February 2025, I couldn't help noticing their huge price hike! Unfortunately, the quality of their food didn't meet the price tag. Other restaurants in Ridgecrest charge the same amount, although with much better food quality and presentation. I've been going to Lugo's for the past 7 years. And I can honestly say that their upgrades in re-modeling have changed for the better, although their food menu and quality of food have not changed at all. Just their price tag!

Another update: This is a $15 salad, just in case you were curious. /Disappointed Post pandemic update: Decided to try a club sandwich. I paid how much for this single slice of turkey? $11. I also have an unknown expense for the addition of cheese. I haven't seen the bill yet. So, I used to eat here 4 or 5 days a week. Miguel's service is what made it worthwhile. The food was ok, not amazing, but reliable. Every time we order something suffers from cross contamination like onions in the pancakes or tuna on the enchiladas. The salad bar was removed a while back. It wasn't huge but it was an improvement over the iceberg side salad. Today I got to see new menus. They included price increases of $1-2 per entree so I'm done... This food isn't worth what they're charging. Update: Today they let a big dog in. Not a service animal, just a big old dog. Wtaf?

Waitress was very nice, but the food was not very good. The drinks are not good either. If you’re going through town with kids and old people and need a place where you can get a variety of options this is an ok option.
