The person that greeted me at the counter was absolutely fantastic blessed my day! And now they have veggie hotdogs, what what they’re fantastic. Great service, fast food

food is delicious and the restaurant is clean, HOWEVER their new AI assisted ordering system is buggy and kind of stupid..

Our 1st time at a Weinerschnitzel. Great service. Fresh, hot, delicious food. I was actually quite surprised at how good the lemonade frosty's are. Think I'll be trying that at home lol.

I ordered 100.00 dollars worth of food drinks and desserts and went thru the drive through and not only was my food hot when I got home but everything on my oder was correct. Me and my family have done alot of eating out lately at many of the fast food restaurants here localy so far this is 1 of 2 places that has got my order correct in restaurant or drive thru and my food was hot when arriving home job well done

"Der" Wienerschnitzel (That's what it was called when it was first established), has long been a favorite place of mine to eat. Their menu has vastly grown since my youth. (Chili-cheese dog, mini corn dogs, "Pretzel" dog, all-beef dog, etc. Plus, at this location, they have a Tastee-Freez. (Ice cream cones, root beer floats, sundaes, banana splits, etc. ALL of the good stuff I'm NOT supposed to have!) If you like good food, 50's and 60's music, This is the place to go!

Love this place, always a good meal and I love the decor.... It takes you back to simpler times. My grandparents use to take me and it still looks the same.... But not in a bad way.

I love the 50s music, friendly staff, clean atmosphere and tasty food. They have seasonal special menu items. Its always a good time, for a reasonable price.

I was having a rough day in the middle of a long week. I was regretting the fact that winning a rugby tournament (lower division, still counts) may not be as great as i had once thought. Going up against two young girls with only one good ankle had left me in zone coverage with a peg leg. For once the infinite patience of an AI was a blessing, and not a curse, as I didn't feel guilty about wasting another human beings time, as I was trying to decipher a coherent answer from an overtired and over hungry, four year old (there was no one behind me, fortunately). When I pulled up to the window, Suzy, who was at the window, and must have seen the distress on my face, immedietly went into action...because her mention of sprinkles on a chocolate drip cone turned my day from a crash course to a smooth landing into a better tomorrow. The screams turned to giggles, and I didn't have a child's screams blasting coherent thoughts away like a sail at full mast into the wind. It reminded me that every trip to this Wienerscnitzle in particular, has been pleasant. You know they are doing something special in the fast food industry when you don't feel existential dread radiating from its employees. I have been to all seven continents, and although I do not recall seeing or in fact looking for a Wienerschnitzel on most of them.. all of my anecdotal evidence strongly leads me to believe... this is in fact the greatest Wienerschnitzle in the world. This one is doing something special, and you can feel it even from the drive through. I have an exemption clause on fast food; I must consume a two chili dog combo with grilled onions seasonally. Therefore, I couldn't be happier to have the GOAT in our small town. This veteran salutes you China Lake boulevard Wienerschnizel in Ridgecrest, CA. ... BRAVO!

With no shame I can say I have been to over a dozen different Wienerschnitzel locations in California, Nevada, and Utah. This location is consistently by far the best I’ve ever been to. Whenever I would come to Ridgecrest to visit family I’d look forward to a visit to this WS. The staff are pleasant, the restaurant is clean, and the food is always hot and delicious.

Haven't been to one of these in years. Very good. Just really wasn't fond of the chili though. Didn't taste like it used too. Seemed more like a glaze. Soda was a little watered down but other than that good. Hotdogs were great. Fries too. Service was awesome.

Good service. Only issue I have if if they are out of something then they will usually just not tell you. For example, I ordered chocolate sundae and they had no chocolate syrup so just gave me hot fudge instead.

This place has good food and the employees here are the ONLY ones of any fast food joint that come out and get your money in the Drive Thru to speed things up,and you NEVER have to pull forward and wait out front of the store which really pains me. Good economical food which can be a gut bomb to some,but I find it worth the risk. Good Grub Recent Visit:We were coming here to get one of their reliably creamy ice cream cones.We saw the advertisement on the windows for Meatball Subs and Shrimp Po Boys.I actually like both of those things,so I ordered one of each to try them out.We also ordered 20 Mini Corn Dogs and an All Beef Chicago Dog. For sweet we ordered an Oreo Mint Milkshake and of course an Ice Cream Cone.The All Beef Chicago Dogs are always tastey and full of flavor,and this visit was no exception.The Mini Corn Dogs with their crunchy outer batter and little hot dogs dipped in ketchup or mustard bring out something familiar of one of those foods everyone has had growing up.When I opened up the Shrimp Po Boy,I instantly thought it needed more sauce or something to keep it from being dry. I actually put some tartar sauce on it,to stop the dry.The shrimp have a crunchy outer coating,and are quite small inside that batter and were not overcooked.The little shrimp were tender and could have used a little more seasoning.I think that a little bit of juicy slaw could have taken this Shrimp Po Boy alot father. The Meatball Sub came on a hotdog bun with three meatballs,which look like the kind you can get in the freezer section of Stater Brothers.Once again I would say that the Meatball Sub needs more sauce.More Marinara sauce and perhaps some sweet in it,because unfortunately the meatballs or the sauce seemed quite salty.I added Horsey Sauce to my meatball sub.Don't get me wrong,I am quite happy to see Wienerschnitzel trying new sandwhiches out for us to try.I think that is awesome to have seasonal/promotional items on the menu.The ice cream cone and mint oreo shake were predictably good.Good Job Guys.We appreciate your work. BIGGER BETTER BURGERS !!! We got two Double Deluxe Burgers and one Double Jalapeno BBQ Bacon Burger to share. The Double Deluxe Burger first bite was juicy,crunchy and meaty all at once.I could taste the flavorful tomatoes,crisp dill pickles and lettuce.The double is a meaty burger that anyone who has a hearty appetite will be pleased, and is a pretty tall burger and you gonna have to open wide to get around that baby.The Double Jalapeno BBQ Bacon burger first bite was meaty patties,crispy crunchy bacon and dried jalapeno crisps,and spicy fresh jalapenos,and some smoky bbq sauce.If you like spicey,then you will like it,and if you don't then skip it,because it does have spice,but not too much.I tasted mostly spice in the burger from fresh jalapenos and crunch from bacon and dried jalapenos. I liked the jalapeno bbq bacon burger alot,but maybe I like the deluxe burger more,because it has a little more to it in the way of crunch and flavors. If I was blind folded and I was eating a Double Deluxe Burger,and you told me it was a Carl's Super Star....I might believe you...Great Job Wienerschnitzel !!!

Great food, and friendly (seems a little shy) employees but they're still excellent with their customer service. The only thing I dislike is the new automated drive thru woman, I mean she ain't too bad. But I just dislike the robot. Oh, and she be trying to sneak in a chili and fries on my order like every time. Why? 😂😂 Oh and they have the best jalapeno poppers!

However, I’m not a huge fan of corn dogs, and since that’s a big part of their menu, it’s hard for me to fully appreciate what they do with them. I know a lot of people love them, but for me, they’re just not my thing. That said, if corn dogs are your go-to, this place likely has some of the best in town. Overall, it’s a great spot for what it is. I just stick to the other items on the menu since corn dogs aren’t my favorite.

The automatic robot voice was so off putting. I want a real person who gets paid more then a freaking AI while I'm ordering my food. The cotton candy ice cream was great, the chili cheese dog didn't have enough cheese for me but I guess. The prices were decent though my son got a Texas BBQ dog and he said it was really good! So like yay for food and prices. Boo for automatic scary robot lady.

Went to get the mothers day special and ordered more food with a large chili cheese fries. We had a 30 mile drive home and went to get the food to divide and there were no large chili cheese fries. We called several times with no answer. I now have to go back 30 miles to get the large chili cheese fries which is so not ok with me with the gas prices being so right. With the price I paid for the food I ordered which was not bad at all but to have to drive back to town is what I have a pro lem with and them.not answering the phone

Took 5 minutes to place the otder in drive thru and when I got it and had left to eat it. The order was WRONG. Got reg chili cheese dog, ordered all beef street dog with bacon. They ate usually better than this.

I ate here because my husband thinks this is good food. Its a hot dog joint. I like their corn dogs, but it just seems expensive for hotdogs. Guess that's why there aren't many Wienerschnitzel's left. I'm a little ashamed that our nation prides itself on hot dogs and American (plastic) cheese.

Ordered to dine in and was given a take out bag like they were trying to push us out the door so i sat there and ate my food.

Second day in a row I've came here and the food was dry. How can a chili cheese burger be dry? I had to put chili from the chili cheese dog onto the burger. They must have a new cook because I've been coming here daily, due to my cravings and there has been no problem but now...I'm disappointed.Out of extra chili and money 🥺

I am a French traveler. I bought several times Jalapeño poppers at WS Ridgecrest. On Thursdays, there is a special promotion on those :6 for 3$. This Thursday, I bought 12. The girl at the counter charged me more than 2*3 $. When I asked why, she explained me that 12 Jalapeños were not the same than 2*6 Jalapeños. Hum. It's this kind of attitude that gets you branded as a fraud, and that gradually erodes your reputation.

I have never been so frustrated as I was today. Whomever ordered or approved that AI / automated drive through system should be defenestrated. It is awful. The only saving grace, after sitting to cancel my order, was the staff inside, who are also victims of this new system.
