I'm not a big fan of McDonald's usually, but this was an exception. Ordered a sausage McMuffin w cheese and large coffee. Food was actually good (haven't liked anything from McDonald's since the replaced the double cheeseburger w the mcdouble), the coffee was good, environment was nice, and service was prompt, professional and personable

My visit here was really nice I was able to quickly order on the App, and with little to no delay I was able to get my food in the drive-through which is always nice Love the 10ft height especially for when you drive a large transit van. Overall another great visit Thank you!

I liked to go there every Saturday. Unfortunately we just left the United States almost a month ago. Just wish I returned back there. This location has employees with great attitudes and they have always turned out great food. Not all McDonald's are equal and this place raised the bar. Milkshake machine is rarely down and you don't have to ask for fries with no salt to get a fresh batch cuz there always good. Drink are not watered down and my favorite is they never complain about me wanting 10 sugar packets with ten creamers in my small coffee.

Curbside pick up is always usually pretty quick using the app. May slow down sometimes during rush, but for the most part have never gotten our order wrong and good service.

The team at this McDonald's was on it! I went in for breakfast, ordered at the kiosk, and when I finished paying and turned around, the young man was already there with my tray with a smile and positive attitude. Thanks for a good experience! Everything was hot and fresh!

Ive been coming here since I was in high school. I love this location there is plenty of seating for such a small location and it doesn't feel cramped. The bathroom is always clean, and theres a few chairs to sit at outside. The make great custom iced coffees here.

I like this McDonald's, it's always fresh and fast. I love the crew, a bunch of nice people. It's busy here, but they get it done. They also take care of some of the homeless in the area, and I really respect that. It's a clean and friendly atmosphere.

Simply the best in Sacramento... It is the cleanest McDonald's by far... You don't see any gang members or sketchy individuals hanging out it is very clean family friendly the food is always hot and fresh drive-thru is very quick did I mention how clean it is!!?

Was driving by and seen this! The america flag at half stuff. Stopped in food was hot fresh and handed to me within two or three minutes. Also the service was great! Guess they remembered it was 9/11 Went by three other McDonald's and passed two schools and all of them had their flags at full stuff.

A guy approached me, familiarity. I was with my 97-year-old father, very conservative, put off by forwardness. I did lip service as decorum. The guy withdrew respectfully & waited until my Dad was in the lavatory then approached me again. I should have looked up, recognized him, capitalized to hug him for confirmation. How do I find him again? The atmosphere there is typically small-town friendly, & as my Dad is disabled people have carried things to our table but nobody specifically remembers the guy who recognised me that day, & he hasn't crossed my path since then... I am not a person who easily accepts strangers, but I might, despite Dad's disapproval, if I had another opportunity to make a connexion with the guy, now that I am sure I remember him. So you'll be seeing me there a lot more often.

Rio Linda McDonald's. Prices are higher (thanks Nuecence Newsom) here in California. But the food is still good. There are multiple self order kiosks now. Looks nice.

We all know that the food you get from McD's is fairly consistent. A quarter pounder with cheese, an order of fries and a Coke is the same at the corner of Rio Linda and Elkhorn as the food you get at any other McDonald's. What makes THIS McDonald's get a higher rating than others are the people. When you opt to go thru the drive-through and you have a memorable experience, that is a McDonald's that deserves to be recognized. We just ordered two drinks, but one of our dogs has a problem with voices outside of the truck. I can only imagine what her sharp bark sounds like over their speaker system!! We pulled up to the window, apologized to the very nice young man for our unruly dog. He asked what types we have and we told him that they were small, misbehaving dogs. When he gave us our change, there were two little cookies for the dogs!! That's all it took for us to make a commitment to visit this McD's when we're in the area!! Stop by and see for yourself!

Service was fast, very clean. I got a chicken sandwich and the lettuce was all over the place when I opened the wrapper and the chicken was left in too long and tasty over cooked.

It's McDonald's, it'll kill ya. But the 4-5 times I've been there in the 12 years I've lived in the neighborhood, I have no complaints. They seem to run a tight ship, they're pretty busy most of the day. Drive through is pretty small, I wouldn't try to pull my boat through there. 😆

Food was not the best but it is good for what fast food is. Kiosk was a bit buggy. Price is great if you have deals from McDonald's app. Atmosphere is a 3 because the restrooms aren't that maintained and a lot of kids in main area screaming and crying.

I would say you get what you pay for, except McDonald's is getting more and more expensive. The value menu isn't such a value anymore. If I'm not in a really big hurry I'd rather just go to a dinner. I like Rafael's in Woodland, food and service are excellent and the weekday breakfast specials are less expensive than McDonald's.

Cant seem to get the iced coffee order correct. I would give 4 stars but this has been an issue at least a dozen times in the past 6 months. They do rectify the issue but consistent discrepancies cant be overlooked.

Everyone knows what McDonald's is like, there's at least one in every neighborhood. This one doesn't have the double lane drive-thru, but no slower or faster than any others. Food quality is standard. I haven't had any issues with service from any of the revolving workers.

Menu Board had NO LIGHTS! Hard to order at night because you can't see the menu! First window #1 server/cashier could hardly understand her and read the order back so quickly I couldn't understand her at all! Gentleman at Window #2 was Fabulous! Very friendly, nice smile! He made up for the for the rest of the experience!

The homeless are a Town issue that affect my patronage. The staff are polite, efficient. Food quality good. I go often. Keep soda $1.00 & I'll keep coming.

Homeless hangout, some employees are super friendly while others could care less about having a $20 hr job 50/50 chance you will get some lame that will hand you your food out of the drive thru window without saying a word and walk away,therfor leaving you without drinks condiments or even a " here is your order,thank you" so you know that they are done and you can drive away! This place is probably the fastest drive thru I have ever used so congrats on that,but this has to be the most inconsistent with the way they make your food or especially the way they make your coffee! I'm going to say that 5/10 times I have ordered coffee they either forget to add the sugar or the creamer, and the five times that I'm giving that they do give me the sugar or creamer it is not stirred and they don't give a stirrer . And last of all I get inflation but this McDonald's is the most expensive McDonald's I know of . That's right not all McDonald's have the same price on items. Even ordering online this place is outrageously priced, sometimes they offer specials thru their app and sometimes they don't. I just know that yesterday I paid $8.57 for 2 REGULAR coffee's (not frapachinosor any gourmet coffee). NEARLY $9 !!!!!! I THINK I WILL GO ACROSS THE STREET TO STARBUCKS FOR THAT PRICE. I would give this McDonald's 2 stars due to their stale and cold burgers and breakfast sandwiches but they get 3 for how fast you can go thru the drive thru.

Food tasted like it had been sitting around for awhile. Dry. Very sloppy looking as the two meat patties were hanging out the sides of the bun instead of being in the center. They we're not hanging out the sides of the buns because they were big meat pattys, but because they placed those little bitty meat patties not centered just thrown on top.

McDonald is always a hit or a miss. I usually only go for happy meals for the kids. The order comes out wrong or something is missing about 50% of the time. I would recommend double check your order before leaving otherwise you might get home with no sauce.

The employees at the windows were really courteous and ensured my order was correct. The food was terrible. The nuggets were not warm at all. The fries were not warm let alone hot. They were rubbery even. I was tired wanted to get home, was craving hot nuggets and even hotter fries being that both would be fresh. I ate it as soon as I got them and was really disappointed. I should have give to Wendy's or Burger King.

This isn’t a complicated request, it just shows that staff are either not properly trained or simply too lazy to read orders carefully. I have a problem with a particular employee at the register here on the corner of Elk Horn and Watt? Everytime I come in to order I am either charged for a free water or the $2.19 cent sausage sandwich ends up costing me $5.00 because I request to replace the dead meat with eggs. I bought a Mc griddle combo for almost 9 bucks you asked what I'd like to drink and like in the combo picture I order OJ oh no you can have soda for free with your combo OJ is an upgrade. FYI McDonald's this Is classic bait and switch and you definitely can be sued for miss representing. Who drinks soda in the morning only trash does. Keep that 1.59 lesson learned will never be back.

I would say one those cashiers are bit too slick, a girl with colored hair, practically finessed me, it was my fault for not realizing that this might occur, I ordered a common old frappe and I gave her an extra dollar to cover the tax and then unexpectedly she asked for another one which came to be a total of *5 dollars* when it was only 3.75. In the end of the day it’s no big deal, just a dollar. I would say as my review, the output of customer service need more regulation here.

If I could give negative stars I would. By far the worst service yet. Of all the customers that came in tonight paying with cash was I the ONLY ONE who's $10 bill inspected and told it feels fake by the little kid behind the counter. I could see in his register that you had the same $10 bill so I know that was BS. All the time wasted with rubbing it, holding it to the light, and looking back and forth from me to the money was ridiculous. Having a "talk" with him is nothing. After the remodel, the workers lost the motivation to actually put work into it. The place looks amazing for being in Sacramento but the lack in food. Got a small fry with a caramel iced coffee. Fries were cold, unsalted, and undercooked. Coffee barely had any caramel and poorly mixed. I also had a big mac 3 days before and the cheese wasn't even on it right, meat was too soft (undercooked) had no lettus or pickles (as it should). They need a new manager or retrain their workers. Absolutely terrible for a usual McDonald's.

This place was horribly run. I asked for two no bun and no onion bacon burgers to go (a very typical, low-carb request). They told me first that they couldn't make them like that, so I asked for a manager, as all other McD's have made them, no problem. He said yes... except I then waited over 10 minutes for them to be ready, and when I checked, they were literally smothered in onions. I brought it to their attention, at which point they told me they gave me the wrong order, but I checked my order#, and it was the same. So I waited. Another few minutes went by, they gave me my order and apologized, and I left in a hurry to meet up with my group thinking all was good. Not until I reached my destination and opened my burgers did I find them ALSO packed with onions, but inside the lettuce so I didn't notice till I was eating one. What if I had been allergic? During all this, my friend had ordered (right before me) one single McGriddle which she waited for for about 10 minutes before she said anything, at which time the manager told her "Oh yes, we make it fresh for you". My friend told him "Yeah, right- you forgot." He admitted yes they did, but were cooking it now (three other customers had been served by this time). She asked him if three more customers went by before she got her order, would he give it to her for free or compensate in some way and he said yes. Four more orders actually went by, so they refunded her money, and when he saw her still waiting, the manager said, "What, you still want the sandwich?" She was frustrated, but also hungry, so she said yes, got the sandwich and left. This was definitely the worst experience I have EVER had in a fast food establishment, and I would neither go back nor recommend it to anyone.

I just got treated like a criminal because I forgot my food in the drive-through. I was on my way home when I realized I left my food, was back 10 min after I paid and the manager in the drive -through literally argued with me about it. I worked a 12 hour shift last night. I would not come here again and I live in this town. My egg McMuffin was hard around the edges like it had been overcooked. And I asked for a coffee drink extra hot. Paid for it and the gentleman didn't tell me anything. And I get to the window and my coffee is lukewarm for the second day in a row. We took two orders at night, there was no car behind us, we took longer than usual about 2-3 mins. When we pull up and she gives us the change, she says "next time you take that long in the drive through, I'm gonna hurt you". (She wasn't trying to joke) Horrible staff. Terrible service. Been here several times since the renovation and each experience has been terrible. The workers in the drive thru do not acknowledge your presence and are extremely rude if the do say something to you. If you want to have good customer service just drive down Elkhorn a lil ways to the 5301 Elkhorn location by Safeway because they have great customer service every time. The only reason I stop at this location is because it's close to my house.

The male manager never does his job right. Ignores for here orders making them to go. Making me wait for an hour on a mobile order of a double bacon quarter pounder for it to never come and then when I say something they ask if it was a double then gave me a single. My Son ordered through the App. and it was a $70.00 order. They forgot my Quarter pounder.We live a few blocks away. My Son went right back,and they claimed it wasn't on the order. So my son presented the receipt and proved it was on there. They basically tossed the bag across the counter and were extremely rude about their OWN MISTAKE.The buns were floppy,too much mayo on everyrhing.The nuggets looked like they were in the warmer tray for hours,and my burger meat was burnt.My dog ate the sloppy ,rubberized Mc Chicken...Terrible customer service. Forgot my food, so I went back. An older guy said it wasnt on my order. I showed him my receipt and proved it. He pretty much threw the sandwich on the counter at me, which my mother opened to find the patty burnt. Other food was sloppy and gross. I'm not a Karen or somebody that usually complains about food. I don't recommend this place. Don't spend your money here.

They gave me small fries in a large container second time they've done this first time it was dripping with grease got on my seat, bag was soaked, Jaime took care of it gavee me another meal but the fries were half way again.

So slow , didnt even glance at the counter to be of help. Woman came out and rolled her eyes and said u all need to be patient. Very rude poor service No toilet paper in either bathroom stall. Dirty bathrooms even tho there was a lock to get in !!!

This mcdonalds is probably the worst one ive ever been too. They always seem to have people who dont know how to work the drive through. But whats even more bothersome is the fact that I take a fat bite of an uncooked burger. Cant get no answer on the phone so ive contacted corporate. Id you like uncooked vurger then you shoyld enjoy the shitty good from this place.
