My wife and I have been here a couple times if we’re out in the area. The other locations are a little more convenient to us. Staff is friendly and the food is consistent. We continue to come here when she’s in the mood for soup. Like everywhere, prices continue to go up. She gets the seafood with Taiwanese broth. I generally go beef Personally I wish the clams were bigger but that’s a small detail. As of the last time that we were here they didn’t not have a rewards system in place like the other locations so our orders didn’t accumulate towards free bowls.
We needed a tasty pot in Natomas! My gf and I love hotpot and surprisingly the individual hotpot are really good portions. I had the lamb hotpot and she had the curry hotpot. Both were medium spicy. It was pretty delicious and can't wait to try another one sometime soon. The digital menu ordering is a nice touch. It gives your customer flexibility without waiting on staff. WE WILL BE BACK!!!
What a great experience! The flavors were great. The portions were very generous. Everything came out piping hot. On a cold day this is the place to be. And to finish off with a boba milk tea was satisfying. 🫃
Nick is the best Tasty Pot worker I’ve seen! He does it all. He makes every visit to Tasty Pot Natomas personalized and filled with love and fun. He’s always smiling and is the reason we come to Natomas over the other locations. Food is always excellent, vibes are the best, and the honey green tea during lunch is to die for. Thank you for making every visit amazing! We love Tasty Pot Natomas!
Pictured is Taiwanese Supreme Spicy Hot Soup. A huge portion, was able to split with my spouse. Very good and medium spicy level is plenty spicy they do not hold back. The Takoyaki was amazing as well, super soft and flavorful on the inside. Would just come back for that alone
AmaIng hotpot place. They even played Hmong music! That's a plus. Parking: plenty Cleanliness: super clean Busy but we were seated right away. Staffs: They are super nice and welcoming. Our party stayed until almost closing time, and the staff never made us feel like we had to rush and leave. They checked on us for water and soup base refilled. Food Soup based were delicious They had surprised gift boba drinks Many items to chose from. Variety of spicy level
Yummy. Quick. Super Affordable. The staff are awesome. Appetizers were Yums. 4 of us shared 2 hot pot and it was plenty!
Deeeeeeelicious with great service! I loved the fact that they keep coming back with more broth to add. If you're like me and you like your soup nice and hot, you will love the soups served in boiling hot pots. Doesn't get any better than this, especially on a cold rainy night. You tell them I sent ya. 😉
This is by far the best vegetarian hot pot I’ve had. They have 3 flavor options for the broth: original, Thai and tomato. My favorite is Thai flavor, which is Tom Yum. Delicious! Can’t wait for them to open more shops in SoCal
It was my family's first time here. The restaurant was clean and nice ambience. The food portion was perfect. We tried #8 broth and it was the perfect amount for both my husband, son, and I. We have enough to pack for Togo as well. The iced green tea was also free with each order. I requested to add lychee jelly & grass jelly to my tea then the server upgraded my drink to a large. I don't think he even charged me for that. Very nice customer SVC. We will definitely come back. Thank you for a great first time experience! :)
Love me some hot pot. Just a solid place overall. What's not to like? Fast service, clean place.
Absolutely excellent quality food here. Every dish and every side was done to perfection. The next time I work in the area, I will be making a beeline to this establishment
Super good my first hot pot. Wait staff were really nice and helpful with choosing a good dish. I got the #1 Beef pot 🍜✨
Tasty Pot is a go to for me and my family. The guys working there are always great! Super attentive, polite and friendly. I love the concept of Tasty Pot because everyone can choose their own flavors. Each pot has a small flame, keeping your soup hot the whole time. You can choose vermicelli, ramen or rice. And they continue to refill with more broth. My husband's favorite is the lamb hot pot, and I usually opt for the Korean or the Thai flavored soup. I've yet to have anything there that I didn't like.
I've never left this place hungry or wanting for more. Generous portions and cozy atmosphere. My only real critique of note was the radio selection. It doesn't have to be anything specific, but the top 40's radio clashes with the vibe in my opinion (not that it would prevent me from enjoying the food obviously).
Wow I have tried other establishments and here there is much better service, the flavor is of high quality compared to the other establishments the service is 10 out of 10 and the atmosphere is very pleasant I recommend it 100%
An authentic, casual restaurant in a strip mall. A true gem of a find! Excellent dishes and fast, friendly service. Portion sizes were generous, too.
Cooley bhature were sooo yummy. Their paneer wrap is unique in blending cuisines and was good. The mango lassi was a good quantity for the price and was delicious. The restaurant itself is clean and casual.
We drove from San Diego and randomly came across this place while trying to figure out where we should eat our meals as there are plenty out in Sacramento. We ordered Lamb biryani it was flavorful and wholesome pieces of lamb were tender, bhel and paneer pakoras were too good and plenty. Service was fast and I could see everyone professional , smiling and working efficiently. Khushpreet served us looked after us recommended thing with such a cheerful attitude. Chai on top of it was too good as we needed. Keep it up. Real good place will visit again and highly recommend.
Great food (be sure to ask for mild if you don't like too much spice). Great mango lasdis. Laid-back atmosphere. Hindi films and videos play in the background. Good prices. Quick, friendly service. Authentic food.
Best Indian food around. My personal favorite is the chicken vendaloo dinner. The atmosphere was very basic but clean, cleaner than most. Service is always fast and friendly. Prices are very comparable to any other indian restaurant You may go to.
We went there as a quick stop but the food was really tasty. We ordered Papdi chaat, chole bature, Chai. Everything was cooked really well, great taste. Chai was great as well. They made it to order so it was fresh. We will certainly go there again if we are in the area. You pay first and order things you need and they bring you. Service is good. We recommend! 👌
The staff are so friendly. The food is the best we've had in this area. We will be back again to experience the buffet probably this week. It's so good, my partner and I want to move to be closer. Please be our neighbors!🙏 The flavor was amazing and blew us out of our seats. A+++ | 10/10 | 5/5 samosas. Would recommend and will be back.
We were greeted at the door with a friendly welcome. Staff was helpful with menu questions and more. We ordered the Japanese Miso hot soup and a order of fried Dumplings. Our lunch was excellent and well presented. This is a great addition to our local food in Natoma. I encourage you to give it a try. Plenty of seating in a fresh new environment. CLEAN & FRESH.
Food is great. A nice surprise in Sacramento as we didn't expect to find an authentic hotpot spot here (we're visiting from OC). The waiters were attentive too. We will stop by next time again if we come this way.
This was a surprise find. We walked by it and figured that we'd give it a shot. We liked the food a lot! The ambiance is ok. Nothing great to write home about - typical small indian restaurant ambiance. The servers are nice and service was a little on the slower side. We ordered a samosa chaat and a boneless chicken tikka masala dinner with daal, rice, naan to go. We also got some dessert (kalakand, milk cake). The samosa chaat was excellent and the portion was big. We had actually ordered the dinner to eat in the restaurant but we got full with the chaat, so hubby ended up taking it home. He said the portions were big and the dinner was good. The curry was decent, while the daal was very good. Both the kalakand and milk cake were very good but I don't know if these are made by the restaurant or got from somewhere else. We are planning to make this our usual stop on the way to the airport. Come and try them, they are very good, particularly at chaat!
I went here for an office lunch and ordered the Chole Bhatura—one of the best I’ve had. It’s my favorite dish, and they nailed it. Great service and a warm, welcoming staff. The only area for improvement is cleanliness. The place is generally clean, but consistency matters. A bit more attention to detail would go a long way. Overall, I’d still recommend it.
The food was very tasty! Chicken Vindaloo was full of flavor, and the Naans were soft and fresh – really the best. Only thing is, the curries quantity was very less. Overall, great taste but small portions.
If you're a fan of chaat, you'll definitely want to check out Chaat Kafe in Sacramento. I recently had the chance to visit the restaurant while on a long drive with some friends, and I have to say, I was really impressed by the delicious and flavorful chaat dishes on offer. The Samosa Chaat and Alu Tikki were both standout items - the chutney added an extra layer of flavor to both dishes, and the Alu Tikki was fried to perfection and had a crispy texture. The Paneer Tandoori Roll was also a hit, and the Tandoori naan was tightly rolled and packed with huge chunks of paneer, Alu Tikki pieces, lettuce, and other sauce. All in all, we spent around $30+ for the three items, which I thought was a good value for the quality of the food. The seating was also decent, with plenty of tables and chairs to choose from. In addition to the chaat dishes, they also had biryani options, but I wasn't sure how they would taste so I decided to skip them. Overall, I had a fantastic dining experience at Chaat Kafe and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for some tasty and satisfying chaat in Sacramento. Trust me, you won't be disappointed
Food lacks a bit of flavor. Customer service is good. With so many other indian places in the area, the food is not up to par
I am trying to be fair here by starting with the fact that I have gone to this place nearly a dozen times because I like the type of food and it's close to home. Unfortunately, a lack of options for hotpot nearby. The service is hardly great and best time to go is before or after lunch hours midweek as they seem to struggle with being any more than 1/3 capacity. I have been there when it's busy with a table of 3, we ordered similar entree soups at the same time, but one of us didn't get there dish until about 45 minutes after the first two came out. Last night was the deal breaker. My wife orders her beef soup the same way every time with miso broth, and they mess that up. It took longer than it should to correct the issue. Honest mistake, I'll give the benefit of the doubt. We proceed with dinner but a moment later I had a loud crunch in my mouth and some pain in my molar gum line , paused and quickly realized no way that would've been a clam shell. Check out the picture, there was a piece of hard plastic, probably packaging material in my soup. Our server said he'll talk to the owner, and was sent back by the owner to give a heartless apology with no other gesture of concern or reparations. Bye.
Went here for dinner today, family of five they offered saki then said that they had no saki...then offer Soju and then said they had no soju, ordered appetizers soups came without appetizer then halfway through dinner We had to ask where appetizers were and canceled appetizers had to get up to get to-go container, because no one came to check on table after we were served terrible customer service. Stay away from this place unless you like horrible service.. first time here will not come back.
Absolute horrendous food, please be weary of their boneless tandoori chicken which was definitely more than (2) days old when served and could match rubber mulch found in playgrounds. Fish pakoray have good sizes but completely missing the fish, only batter! Papree chaat was decent but samosa were a disaster too. It’s a shame that paying customers flock to this restaurant . . . .
I went this evening for dinner with my husband. The staff were very nice and friendly! We felt welcomed! Food was delicious and the desert was amazing. The staff member Khuspreet and the another young lady provided us an excellent customer service!
