The woman taking my order was very nice. Even though they were very busy, Gracie took the time to tell us about their most popular pizzas and recommended to us the Chicken Garlic and Artichoke, which did not disappoint. Had some beer and dessert that Gracie told us to try the Pizzookie, a giant, fresh baked chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream. Great place to relax, have a delicious pizza and a good time.

Being a small business owner in Riverbank myself, I often find myself hungry at lunch time in the city of action with limited options that are both high quality food and consistent service that AREN'T a chain... but every time Pizza Plus comes through as a shining light of tasty food and fresh ingredients. While yes, their pizza is always delicious, made to order and has a great crust to sauce to toppings ratio, my go to favorite lately has been the pastrami sandwich with the tasty fries and fountain drink. They have fabulous lunch specials, their call ahead customer services is great and efficient and we love that they have plenty of space for those times when we need to having a working lunch. Whether you're a local or passing through Riverbank, Pizza Plus is a must-try destination for food enthusiasts. It's clear why they've earned their decades long reputation for go to pizza eateries, and I can confidently say that I'll be back for more of their fabulous dishes. Frequent Pizza Plus visitor! This place is FIVE STARS!!!!!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The food here is an absolutely DELICIOUS. I work close by and literally eat here 1-2x a week, no joke! OBSESSED. What truly sets Pizza Plus apart is the exceptional service. The workers are not just skilled; they're incredibly friendly and kind. Shoutout to the amazing team who always goes above and beyond to make every visit memorable. The restaurant is consistently clean and inviting, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a slice or two (or salads!!). It's literally my go-to place for lunch. Pizza Plus is a MUST visit. The owner noticed my autistic son wasn't eating, so he brought us a variety of food from the salad bar to see if he'll eat. Who does that?! Felt like I was back in a small town in the 90s, when businesses felt personal and not corporate. And the pizza.. Best around hands down, I've worked at a pizza place for years. I know quality ingredients, handled with care. This is it. 10/10 would recommend.

This is the best place I could ever go to. This is like a second home to me. I wish there was more than just five stars. Pizza is the most splendid and amazing thing to ever even graze my tongue. Pizza Plus is a great locals spot for fresh pizza. They also have salad, soups, sandos, wings, fries, etc. They have lunch specials as well and a small bar with beer and wine. Food prices are a little steep but they have consistent specials and reasonable beer and wine prices so it balances out. Very clean, and you can see the hole kitchen. We appreciate that they hire local young people.

I have dined here a handful of times and they have delivered every single visit. The Everything combo pizza is my favorite. It is stacked with toppings and the crust is crispy every time. My niece & nephew put down multiple slices of their pepperoni and they hardly ever eat more than one slice, so that alone should tell you about this place. Their wings are also amazing, both bone-in and boneless. I recommend their Mango Habanero and Buffalo flavors. So if you're ever in the Riverbank area, heck, just make the trip when you're in the mood for pizza, and enjoy the best pie you've ever had. You're welcome!

But please, allow me one bit of constructive criticism..... the acoustics of your building are awful. Both the main room and the side room are severe echo chambers. Maybe it's the curved roof, or the cement walls, but it becomes intolerable when even at half capacity. At a certain point, it gets so loud from people trying to speak over the noise, that you end up unable to have a conversation across your own table. We were in the side room and there was one other family in there. The two conversations started colliding. It was so noticeable that the conversation turned to acoustics and what could be done about it. We suggest: foam acoustic panels on the ceiling. And more art on the walls. Maybe some hanging rugs or large canvas prints to absorb some sound. I know it sounds like a petty complaint, but it definitely affects our inclination to use this space for events.

They were generous with the toppings. There was a variety of pizzas served and each one was delicous. You can taste the quality in the ingredients they use. Don't sleep on this place. Grew up going to this pizza place and finally visited again after 25 years. Still delicious, still the pizza I compare others to. The sign inside is a nice nostaligic nod to the old location across the road.

Years ago independent pizza shops like this were everywhere in Modesto and Riverbank. These guys make an excellent pie; delicious crust and fresh toppings. They beat all the chains, even Round Table. Their sauce is mild and not overbearing, crust is delicious and tastes homemade. Prices are on the high side but you get what you pay for. Support local businesses!

Just moved near a pizza plus and heard it was bomb. Couple friends and I got a few pizzas and I will say it was dam good. The crust is not to thick but not thin style their sauce is really good. They have a large amount of toppings you can put on your order. They are pretty fast and helpful when you go pick up or eat in. The dinning area at Pizza Plus is big and they offer some nice beers if you want to drink. All in all good place to get some pizzas.

One of the few decent independent pizza shops in the area. Very good crust and fresh toppings; don't expect anything too creative, this is Riverbank after all. Service was good.

You go up to the counter and order. They do treat you well and will bring your pizza to the table you choose. You serve your own salad and drinks. The pizza is delicious. I have lots of friends who have recommended this place and I see why. I will definitely come back for tasty pizza.

Meeting the owner of the business and had an appointment with him. He offered lunch and I accepted. I was blown away by the freshness, flavor of the pizza here. He asked me what I wanted so I always try pepperoni pizza if it's a new place I never been to before. I highly recommend this place. It's cozy small family friendly oriented atmosphere. If you are in the Riverbank area. Stop in for a bite.

It's kind of overpriced here. Pizza was tasty, but little bit burned. They have a good beer too. As for me other Pizza Plus locations like in Ripon or Waterford are better

We arrived at 7: 50 pm. placed an order for pizza then did a separate order for salad as I changed my mind, HUGE mistake. It was empty and they could have told me that before they charged me $10. 00. Regardless they made no attempt to refill anything. There was buts and pieces. Then, I asked the gentleman if I can have cheese and not that he had a problem what so ever, but he previously rang someone before my request since the salad bar was empty and goes straight to the pizza station with my salad in hand, grabs a handful of cheese and spreads it all over my salad. They worked next to him glancing with also disgust. I’m disgusted. I mean thats the first you learn as a food service handler. Let alone in culinary school— that’s a hell NO. We usually go to Hilmar since it’s close to home about 10 min, but decided to try this location out or falcon lair, it was definitely not worth the drive. Wished I’d gone to their other restaurant Falcon Lair that would have been a better choice. Kind guy though.

I have a couple issues, one being that there were about 8 staff members and only one was wearing a hat and 5 of them had long hair that would hang down close to the food they were preparing, also there were several large TVs with different shows on. One was a sitcom, one was the local news and another had some sort of nature documentary that showed some gross things such as bugs eating each other and maggots on fruit, etc so not something I want to see while I'm trying to eat. Pizza was good when we finally received it, but it was a giant pepperoni and it was sort of busy so i understand why it took 35 minutes, they also forgot to bring plates with the pizza but luckily they brought them within a minute after the pizza and even brought ranch to dip it in so I forgive them on that. To the manager, please issue hats visors and hairnets to your staff and require them to wear them when handling food also skip the nature channel, stick to sports, the news or a kids movie...

Pizza is decent. Customer service is horrible from the kids working there would simply not recommend based on their timeliness and behavior.

This is a great restaurant & delicious pizza. However, there is false advertising on Google regarding pricing at the Riverbank’s Pizza Plus Restaurant’s Menu website! They need to take care of this issue before it causes them a legal matter regarding false advertising .The prices are almost twice as much as listed. I brought this to the manager’s attention on 1/13/24.

Placed an order for pickup 35 mins before we could even get there, our pizzas were sitting at the top of the oven when we walked in (I was looking at them). I gave them my name and they did not even check the top of the oven or nothing. Waited for over 35 minutes when the whole time our pizzas were sitting there!!!! Very Unimpressed with their customer service skills. They just looked at me like I was dumb….Lol. Will not be going there again. Great pizza…. Customer service is not so good. btw the girls touch their hair and faces when making your pizzas.
