First and foremost the Manager is BOMB! He was alone had lines backed up and moved like a machine!! He deserves all the credit for keeping up alone! Give him the raise! God bless him
We get smoothies here occasionally. Staff is always courteous and the people that work here seem like they enjoy their job and it shows because we have always been treated well here. We always go through the drive thru here. It's just convenient for us. 5 star rating for this business.
I ordered curbside pick up, the young lady came out promptly at the time my order was supposed to be ready. Great Job!!
Always a pleasant visit, friendly staff and food is delicious. My daughter is super picky and they always get her drink and food order correct ❤️
They always get my order right, which is great especially since I'm allergic to pineapple, so I often have to substitute it for mango or another fruit. They are always fast and very friendly. Definitely my go to spot for a good smoothie!
Tropical smoothie cafe is new to our area but has been an instant hit. I have been several time and tried a different smoothie everytime and have been disappointed. They food is also good for a quick bite. I know it gets really busy and they have been overwhelmed with orders causing some confusion and wrong orders but just like everything we get that is new. It will eventually slow down or another location will have to be opened.
This Cafe is a great idea but, service is schetchy the meal portions are less than 1/2 of what they were just months ago. Not a good deal for the money.
I enjoy the food here but they seem to have difficulty getting orders correct. Several times my dressing was left off. This last time I ordered a Veggie Hummus Bowl. It had no hummus and no avocado. I paid more than $10 for some rice, black beans and a few veggies. Very disappointing!
Thanks to the employee who put a smiley on my dip for the quesadilla this Saturday night 😃 (9/13/19) (Late 2021-2022) Sadly things have not stayed so great at this location. Food was always pricey so not going to complain much about it going up. But they are pretty much constantly short staffed and getting help when going inside takes a decent amount of time. I just called while in store the last time to get someone to pay attention to myself and another person who seemed like they were also just picking up an order. I would think at least taking an order as soon as someone comes in would be a decent courtesy even if you can't get their food that quick. Checking if someone is there to just pick up would be nice too. But I guess the best strategy is drive through. Anyway I'll maybe just go to the other location in town from now on.
Ordered online for curbside pickup. App instructed to park in front of store and requested vehicle info. Waited in front of store for 20 minutes as app stated my order was still being prepared and they did have several in the drive thru. Finally got tired of waiting and went in as drive thru was empty at that time and inquired about my order. Employees stated that you have to come in or go through the drive thru to get your order and that it should have said that on the app and it was posted outside. I explained that it only instructed me to park out front and asked for vehicle description and no where was it posted outside. (See pictures) The girls went to giggling and repeated what was stated before and that I would know next time. (If there is a next time as it seems every time we have Ordered there has been an issue.) If there is no curbside pickup then why offer it and at the time I went in they weren't busy, would it have hurt to have stepped out and inquired instead of giggling at the situation.
Slow. Like there are three customers and ten employees and still took forever.Just to get the slurpee.
I ordered a chicken pesto wrap through the drive through today. It was nothing like advertised; looked nothing like the picture. There was very little in it and it looked like it was just slapped together. I brought it into the store and to the managers attention and he said they were only allowed to put 1 oz of chicken in the wrap and everything was measured but he offered to remake it. It was better the second time but still nothing like the advertised picture. He did offer to give me a refund however, I would rather the company fix the issue. Why advertise something you can't live up to? Either fix it or change your pictures. You will probably have happier customers if they know what they are purchasing.
I waited and waited out in my car because I ordered curbside as it says on the ticket. Finally I went inside only for the girl to just say sorry. Why bother to try to have a convenience service if you're not going to do it right? I do like this place but I cannot stand their inconsistencies. At least she apologized. But still what a waste of time as I sat and waited. My avocalado was great but the peanut butter crunch breakfast flatbread was far less than their average. I don't even know if they put any honey on this. And there was an overripe banana. It wasn't very warm. It was probably the worst I had had yet. It's right beside the freedom first Bank. In the far corner and a little hard to see when you're coming into the parking lot. Stopped into this store for the first time and got a smoothie. Blueberry bliss. It was the blandest smoothie I have ever had and was also very grainy. My food at Tropical Smoothie has been awesome at other stores. Don't know why it was so bad in my visit. Staff looked very tired and frustrated so they weren't all that friendly. NOT recommended.
11/29/2024 - Walked in, no one was at the counter but I could hear people in the back room. After five minutes (maybe more?) I said"Hello? I'm out here ". I distinctly heard someone snicker in the back room followed by hushed voices. I'm mean, come on, I know it's the morning after Thanksgiving and you don't really want to work (you probably don't do much actual work anyway), but intentionally ignoring customers & thinking it's funny? You're a failure. I walked out and went to the next nearest location which was much further from the hotel, but was rewarded by awesome service there. I hope corporate is listening. The management at this place needs to be replaced.
I had an extremely unpleasant experience at this location this afternoon. I spent roughly $35 on various food items and smoothies, including my super green caesar wrap which is the purpose of this message along with the poor customer service I received. The lettuce inside of my wrap was worse than just wilted, it was brown in certain spots. Roughly 50% of my wrap was full of wilted and brown lettuce. There is no way the person who made this wrap did not see how badly decayed this lettuce was. This is a serious health hazard. I brought my wrap back and asked to speak with a manager. A young female with glasses told me there was no manager I could speak with. I showed her my wrap. She appeared annoyed with me expressing my concern. She didn't apologize and simply asked if I wanted a new one. I told her, no, I didn't want a new one and asked if my green smoothie included the same greens that she used to make my wrap. She replied, no, with an attitude as if I should know this. How am I supposed to know this? It's a logical question to ask given that there are salad greens in a green smoothie. Not to mention, I paid $8 for that smoothie... I wanted confirmation I'm not going to be drinking the same rotten greens only blended. I was disgusted by the whole situation and my treatment at this point so I told her I wanted a complete refund because I didn't want to eat any of the items anymore. She once again said nothing and looked annoyed. An apology would have been nice. I had to come all the way back because of this and took several bites from a rotten wrap! She handed me cash which I assumed was the total amount I paid for my check and I walked out. I got outside the store only to realize she only refunded me for my food and not the extra money I spent on smoothies for myself and my son. I was so upset I just left. This is awful customer service. I should have gotten a complete refund. Also, her lack of concern regarding this very serious health hazard should make everyone who eats at this location concerned as nobody can be certain what may be rotten in their orders. When spending nearly $35 for simple food items nowadays this is unacceptable.
The smoothies are really good and the wraps are great. They are made with fresh ingredients and to order. Download the app and get rewards for every purchase. The cost is a touch high or I would have given it a 5 star. The staff are all friendly and very attentive. Update: Staffing has changed. Food and service was horrible last two visits. I knew I was charged wrong last time. Asked for a receipt 3 times. Was finally told they were out of register paper and I could see it...
Be wary of what you order here. Got a hummus veggie wrap, an $8 wrap with no meat on it and there is one slice of tomato a sprinkling of lettuce and most of it is rotten. I'm not talking old I'm literally talking brown with liquid rotten and I've got pictures to add. I don't have time to go back out and grab lunch. So not only do I have about 40 cents of product on an $8 wrap it's also going in the trash. I took my first bite picked out a weird piece of lettuce, took another picked out another piece and then decided to open it up. There is some fresh green lettuce you can see for contrast. The guy offered to cover my next meal but my stomach is at the point I'm not interested, this is disgusting knowing that lettuce is behind their counter.
