Only Wendy's close to me food here is great but for some reason drive thru takes awhile. Spicy nuggets are always great burgers are just kinda meh have to make sure its fresh off the grill hot.
A place where you can eat a good hamburger that the meat is tender and juicy, fresh lettuce, tomatoes and pickles just go to Wendys. And not only that, their roasted potatoes and their variety of salads, I love them. Anyway, I like everything. I did not change it or replace it with any.
I went thru the drive thru last friday afternoon and Felina was just so nice to me and didnt feel like I was being rushed ordering like I usually am. She offered me a frosty key tag. I didnt know about them at all. She was very friendly. The experience was so very worth my trip there. I've never been to this Wendy's because I live in another town. Wish my hometown Wendy's had friendly people like Felina.
The dude working tonight was literally the goat because I just was craving a root beer and like pulled up at 11:59 and he got me hooked up even though I was the last car of the night.
The manager Sara was a bright spot of sunshine. She absolutely made my afternoon better just from running through the drive through. <3
As with most Wendy's, this location offers fantastic, quick meals. I'm always impressed by the staff here, as they've helped me, no questions asked, anytime there's been a problem with the facility itself or the food I ordered. Quite rare to find service like this at a fast food joint, so this definitely stands out in my mind.
Very impressed with Wendy's in Roanoke. We tried out their breakfast a little less than a week ago, expecting a few kinks, and received a sandwich that didn't have the right bun. It wasn't a big deal but a little disappointing. I called and spoke with Brandi (I hope I spelled her name right), mentioned the mix up and she said to just let them know when we tried again. She went above and beyond!! I'm definitely going back. Exceptional customer service.
Burger was ok, but nothing special, that's for sure. When I ordered, I asked for crispy fries four times. What did I get ? Garbage, cold, limp, soggy garbage. And that's right where I put them. It's not rocket science people. Give the customer’s what they ask for.
Always good burgers and great prices. The staff here was very friendly and respectful, even called me sir. That's hard to come by at a fast food place where it's usually yup or uh huh instead of hi may I help you sir. We just moved to the area and will be back on a regular basis.
almost a 5 to be honest. i love new limited time menu items and in app offers. they have them both. I've lived in the south most of my life and there chili, believe it or not, is not bad at all. the key to a good chili always involves a long simmering time. one of my favorite items. yea its hamburger meat, but its fresh for that day, not left overs. in 6yrs ive never had to eat "whatever" mistake they made because im at lunch and on a schedule... AND YOU KNOW WHAT... I JUST REMEMBERED "BACONATOR !!!" that's why it now shows 5 stars.
The person in front of us drove off in the drive thru and completely threw off all the orders. The guy working the window was friendly and quickly got us our correct order.
Just went through the Drive Thru. Girl with red hair who took the payment was very nice and asked how my day was, young man with the gray hat told me to have a great day after getting my food to me in a timely manner, was very impressed. Fries were fresh and had a good amount of salt. Very pleased with my experience.
It was a good day for some warm Wendy's Chili.
The crew is fast, efficient, and friendly. My order was cooked well and was out before I could fill up my cup. The fries were fresh and the burger was exactly what I expected. The crew was doing sanitization checks as I walked in. During a 45 minute lunch break the tables of other diners were buss and clean as the families stood to leave. 10 out of ten for clean at this facility.
We arrived at 6:30 pm and got our food at 6:45 pm . Jason took our order and made sure the food was hot. He was very polite and did his job well.
This Wendy's has definitely improved. Yaz, the manager, has made it clean and well stocked again. The food was hot and fresh. Employees were kind and helpful. I will definitely be back.

The best Wendy’s in the DFW area! Fresh ingredients that are prepared as you see it on the menu. The manager James is one cool dude! Truly a good dining experience.

I've been consistently impressed by the Wendy’s in the Roanoke Location. Every time I visit, they get my order right without fail, which is something I really appreciate. The staff here are incredibly friendly and attentive, always making sure that I have everything I need. It's clear that they prioritize customer service, and it shows in the way they interact with everyone who walks through the door. Overall, this Wendy’s sets a high standard for fast food restaurants in terms of accuracy and service. I highly recommend it!
Always friendly here, and of course, they never cut corners!! We love their chicken nuggets and frosty. The fries are OK, not a favorite, but still good.
one of the nicest Wendy's I've been to, only reason I docked a star was there was no ice in the Coke Freestyle machines and one was completely inoperable leading to a 4-5 person backup as there are a TON of drink choices in those machines (love the machines but 2 is kinda a necessity in that area during a lunch rush)
Fries were super salty and not so fresh. But it was late at night. Lady in the drive thru was really friendly and very polite.
We come here a lot because it's closer, and my son is a Wendy's fanatic. The place is already falling apart a bit... Leaking roof, sometimes no ice, but the staff here are always awesome, and the food is really well prepared most of the time. All in all I've been to much worse.
They were out of the cheese for the Baconator fries. I asked for an extra Ghost Pepper ranch to compensate, they said no. Terrible service. Food was good.
They have fast service I didn't have any issues when I went there the food was good and hot. The store was clean the tables were clean the bathrooms are clean. and I have plenty of paper towels in the dispenser is along the soap. The service was fast I didn't have any issues
Fries are hot and the burgers are good. The employees are very polite. They are a little understaffed but that's not their fault and they still made the effort to have good customer service. Only issue was that Wendy's is getting really expensive nowadays lol
Been to this Wendys a few times now. Food is typical Wendy's though they've messed up orders twice and had to fix them. Workers are either always new or not well trained, not sure which. Tables are sometimes clean, sometimes dirty. Several times flies buzzing around and once it wasn't just 1, it was like 5 or 6. Not a very clean Wendys, but not overly horrible. 1 bathroom visit was all I want to go in ever.... it was pretty bad. Typical for cheap fast food environment.
Pleasantly surprised. Its been a while since i went to any Wendy's. Drive thru for breakfat. Service was good, steady thru the drive thru, no big delays, cashier was pleasant efficient and accurate ,but you cant eat service, how was the food. The food was good. Sauage biscuits, biscuits was not dried out, like you get from the clown, with a nice butter taste, sausage was a square had the slightest heat/seasoning to it, not unpleasant or overwhelming, gave the sausage biscuit a nice flavor, that and the buttery flavor of the biscuit were on spot, will go back.
Ordered crispy chicken on my salad, got cold grilled instead. No jalapeños on my loaded fries. No spoons for our frostys. No Sriracha even tho I asked for 4. I checked at the window and got the condiments but I failed to open the salad and the fries to check for accuracy. I just don't get it. Why can't drive throughs get it right?
Rarely a good experience. The staff and the upkeep of the restaurant are enough to keep me away.
This Wendy's is pretty close to me and I want to love it but I can't. Food prep is inconsistent once I asked for onions and they literally gave me a slice of onion that was almost as big as the hamburger patty. The fries are great when hot but it's 50/50 whether or not you will get cold fries or hot ones
Had placed a pickup order for carryout but the doors were locked by 7:30 pm, but there was nothing posted to indicate that they were locked. Plus, I despise drive thru's, but was forced to use the drive thru to pick up my order.
It's like many fast food restaurants but it's not for everyone. The reason I give three stars is because there are bugs in the corners of the two doors before you enter the fast food restaurant. Not only that but the dining room is unclean and the staff likes to throw around cuss words instead of being professional.
The drive thru guy was very spicy and didn't know how to do 2 separate orders. He just seemed clueless. The manager was amazing! We had to wait quiet a long time for our food and they lost one of our orders

I was disappointed when I walked up to a locked door at 9:15 pm. The signage on the door indicated they were open for inside dining until 10 pm. Not so! Forced me to go through the drive through and eat in my vehicle.

Dine in was not open even though the website said it was. The new cheese burger was supposed to have bacon jam..couldn't tell. Wife ordered chicken but got hamburger that was room temperature.
Today is national hamburger Day. At this location the lead person Didn't know Anything about it . She walk up to the register . didn't know how to ring up the special order. Very Sad
Ordered one of the new Pretzel Pub Chicken sandwiches with no onions and was told that the sandwich didn't come with onions even though it clearly said fried onions came on it. I pointed out this fact to the kid taking my order and he once again told me that they didn't come on this sandwich. Long story short guess what was on the sandwich when I went to take a bite...
Apparently, this is not a dine in Wendy’s? It says the dining room hours are 8 AM to 10 PM but all the doors were locked on a Sunday.
Service is hit or miss. My wife has had no issues. When I've gone, it's like the employees are hanging out in the back, actively trying not to have my business. When they finally do take an order, they're not sure what food they have available.
I ordered three Jr. Cheeseburgers but only received two. I went back around through the Drive-Thru and explained my problem. I asked very politely about it but the woman Becki said she put three in there. She was accusing me of lying so I reiterated and proved that, no, you did not put three. She overall had a terrible attitude and was very aggressive for no reason whatsoever. Although the service wasn’t good, the food tasted amazing like always.
Stopped by 1 hour 30 minutes before closing. NO CHILI. Their excuse was that they were getting a head start on closing. This is the 3rd time this has happened to me. They fries were soggy and unedible. Will not stop at this Wendy's ever again. Used to be a great location.
We wait 15 min for our order fries were cold spicy nuggets were cold jr bacon meat was to dry I ordered no bun so I got lettuce but they put mayonnaise on top of the lettuce , so far I remember when you ordered no bun you gave condiments on the side . Last time when I came to this Wendy’s I had different experience that’s why I came back
This must be a rough area. They lock their dining room doors at 7pm & I’ve been there previously and dining area was closed earlier than 7. Hopefully it’s a corporate owned and not a franchise. I would be upset my team was locking up that early but there could be a legitimate reason. The girls kept hollering for Sarah to come up front since I was waiting to order. When she arrived I joked you must me Sarah…. lol The restaurant was dirty with wrappers and some food on floor but again maybe they had a rush of people earlier which I didn’t see… Chili taste great!
Dave is rolling over on his grave. The person that took our order was nice though, made sure to get the right toys in the kid's meals for my daughters.
Went through drive through for a biggie bag.. Burger was cold like the ghost pepper ranch was warmer. Fries old and redipped. Nuggets also old.. I understand biggie bag it's high end but at least microwave the products

I paid $11.55 for my food two spicy chit sandwiches with house meat, lettuce, and bread with small fries and a large raspberry coke. The machine was unavailable for the soda so I got fruit punch powerade instead I was almost done with my food but I went to rest room for 10 minutes and after I came back my food, my drink and my mask was gone and I needed that mask. That was not okay to throw because I needed to head to Walmart and I wanted to take my drink and food to go and finish the rest when I get home that was unacceptable...
Really bad experience with manager Javier, who knows nothing about costomer service. New employee at register didnt understand that he is responsible for filling green tea orders..or that a differnt price is to be charged. When I noticed it was not dispensed through the customer counter and asked for help, Javier the manager harrassed in the most rude way acting as if i had not paid for it ( had reciept in hand, and showed him) and yet he was still spouting off as if it was the customer's fault.. What?? And he's the manager. Thank goodness for the manager Maria who was managing the new hire, understood immediately what happened and quickly resolved the simple matter. Maria is good with customer service, training new employee, and overseeing the floor. She was attentive, to many situations going on and doing it well with genuine smiles. She should be promoted above the jerk Javier, who was not attentive to anything and rude to customers.
Pulled into the drive-thru at 10:50 p.m. There we're two cars ahead of me, and there was a semi being unloaded that prevented cars from pulling forward. when I finally pulled up to the speaker at 10:58, the employee told me that they close at 11:00 and refused to take my order. I explained that I've been sitting in the line for 10 minutes and hadn't been able to get to the speaker because of the delivery, but was still refused service. Refusing to take an order from a customer that has been waiting just because You are 2 minutes from closing is unprofessional.
Staff are not trained and experienced at all. There customer service is very rude. Food taste is very bad. Don’t ever try feed it to your kids. I will try to share my experiencd at all possible social platforms that is possible to reach out to customers. I will give 0/5
Should have checked the order before pulling out of drive thru. $40 dollars and the order was wrong and missing half of what I ordered. Won’t be going back
Always mess up my order, I make sure to ask for regular nuggets and no cheese on my burger and every time they do the exact opposite of what I order. I love wendys but not worth going here if you don’t want your order to be wrong.
They did not give our card back when we left the drive thru and since we were in a hurry we did not notice until the next day. We logged into our account the next day and saw their employee took my card and went to the Walmart in Roanoke and spent money on my credit card. Do not trust this store or their employees. My family lives in this area but I will NEVER go back there. People are so dishonest these days. I worked in the food industry when I was younger, even in old small town Roanoke, I would've never thought to take someone's card that left it and go charge on it. Horrible employees. I will be contacting the store when it's open tomorrow as well so I hope they no longer work there soon.
The young man qt the window was fantastic. Sadly he will be ruined by the horrible workers there. The fry cook was rude as hell, the manager that supposedly been doing it for 45 years was rude and had no customer service skills. Still got the order wrong, food was cold and the supposedly "fresh" fries we had to wait for were soggy and cold.
At the beginning the experience was good but after they messed up our order and had us wait for about 20min to correct their mistake and arguing with us about the order. I will not be coming back to this location or recommend it to anyone because it was an awful experience, they can't even deliver all items in a single order together but had customers wait for their burger after they handed out the fries and drink, ridiculous.
I just moved to this area and this was my first time going to this Wendy’s. I ordered 9 orders of nuggets and asked for BBQ as well as Sweet and sour sauce. When I pulled up to the window I asked the lady Courtney if the sauces was in the bag and she said yes. I live about 30 minutes away from this restaurant so for me to go back would be a real Inconvenience. I got all the way home to find out that there was NO SAUCE NOT ONE in the bag. Now my family and I are over here eating dry chicken nuggets. This was a horrible experience and I won’t be going back.
Me and my family ended up ordering a bacon double stack cheeseburger and a loaded nacho cheeseburger with no tomatoes and something else we got the meal and found no bacon double stack cheese burger went up there and asked for it said I didn’t hear it when we all heard it so they charged him for it hopefully not again then came back sat down and opened it there was (STILL) no bacon on it on top of that the other burger had tomato on it which we specifically said no (Tomatoes) I think these employees need to learn how to listen to there customers and provide with good service we’ve had other problems so we decided we will not be coming back here until someone knows how to understand the assignment
There was a long grayish hair in my fries, and we were at the most like the 3rd customer when we ordered and they got one out of 3 of the burgers wrong and how hard is it to take off one sauce, and 2 of the workers just no thank you. I'm good on that.
Store hours say the dinning room closes at 10, but it was closed at 8:15 pm. Didn’t receive my full order or a receipt. Customer service was not the best.
Saturday night about 10:00 my sister and I walked in to the lobby, the restaurant was clean and other than a few people we were the only ones there. No one was at the front counter but two girls at the drive thru just laughing and having a good time. They looked at us a few times and continued their laughs and conversation it was a few more minutes before one of the DT girls YELLED the front counter employees name. Never once did they say anything to us. I did tell the manager and she did apologize yet the girls thought it was funny that I spoke with the manager. -Other than the front counter employee she was very nice and very apologetic about the situation. Customer service is a big thing when working with the public, this place was definitely lacking there!
We have eaten here every since they opened. We visited Sunday night and they had horrible service. Barely got what we ordered and they were slow and started telling us that they are closing trying to run us out of the lobby 10 minutes before they closed. Ive never been treated so rude here and hopefully they will get some better attitudes if we ever come back.
Yikes. Not sure I'll be back to this location. There was a long line when I went there tonight, so of course I got on my phone like I usually do...of course this leads to me not moving up sometimes when I'm suppose to...anyway when I get up to the window some kid askes me if I'm okay?? And not like a nice vibe "how are you doing?" but literally in a questioning tone...I replied yes are you okay?? He then proceeds to tell me I was taking to long to pull up. He has a point, but that is terrible customer service regardless. I told him I was on my phone and he replied "well you're not supposed to be on your phone". At this point I get sarcastic and ask him where his badge is at. Stay in your lane kid, it's a Wendy's drive thru not a DUI check point. Interesting experience overall.
So showed up at 9:42 and the inside is locked up tight. People are working, because the drive through was being used. I hate companies that aren't open when they say they are. Welp will not come back to THIS wendys.
Spent $50 for dinner for our family, we upsized everything. Got home none of our sodas were marked, EVERY fry was barely 1/2 filled. Mgr David says he'll replace the drinks and fries when we go back next week. I appreciated him offering to make that better.
This is the second time I have come here and the lobby is closed when the door and website indicate it doesn't close for hours. Left both times without buying anything. Will not be fooled again, will not be back.
This evening I waited in line to place my order for over 15 minutes (I was behind only one other car - who also waited this long)! There were several other cars behind me. (The guy behind me finally got out of his car, leaving it in line, to go into the Wendy's). When I received my food and paid I was in a rush to return home. Upon arrival there I realized that though my bill was over $30, I was missing several items!! 2 chilis 2 salas, & 2 chip bags, for my 2 salads, and 1 French Fry order to go with the Dave's Double I DID get!! I called as soon as I discovered this - with no one answering! Though the guy at the window was nice, I will NOT return here for food, since the service was so terrible!
Wendy's has always been a favorite fast food joint, but this one in Roanoke, TX has been terrible all 3 times I tried it over the last year. Food always seems to be cold and stale, like they're microwaving yesterday's burgers and fries. And they take forever just to deliver a sub-par meal. Done with this location. The franchise owner clearly doesn't care about quality of product or service.
Wow. Wendys just close your doors. Just ordered a classic Chicken Sandwich the smell of the old oil was so overwhelming when I opened the wrapper it made us nauseous in the car. The Chicken breading was practically black from how you fried this in what must me months old oil hubby ordered a single and equally sloppy and disgusting.
I went through the drive through and ordered multiple combos. I had to get my burger remade twice due to it having mayo when it doesn’t even come with mayo. I decided to go inside on the last time having my burger remade. When I was in there I saw the fry girl making fries and eating them at the same time. As she was eating the fries that she serves the customers I saw multiple fries fall out of her mouth and land into the container where the fries are served to the customers. I got the burger and told the manager about the fries and all she said was really. I left and decided I was disgusted with the whole situation. I called to get my money back and the manager refused. Do not eat here they are nasty and don’t care about the quality of the food they serve.
Have been to this location two times in last couple of weeks. First time, my burger bun was stale as could be. It was hard. I figured maybe it was a fluke and moved on. The second time I went, 06/11/2024, same issue only the bottom of the bun was rock hard and my fries were not even warm, they were very cold like something iced was against them in my bag.. Sad thing is they supposedly just made it because the guy at the window was yelling that he needed a cheeseburger and we had to wait for it. Sad thing it was cold as well. At least I haven't seen an employee laying on the ground by the door smoking cigarettes in a while. Guess next time Ill just pull into Sonic.
If I could give this zero stars, I would. That being said, the boy at the drive through window was very kind and had good customer service skills; however, the manager was incredibly rude. I did not like witnessing the way he was talking to the staff or the way he talked to me. My order was incorrect (missing bacon) so I walked back into Wendy’s to get the my order fixed. The manager began to loudly talk down and lecture me in front of all the staff and all of the customers in the dining room on what I ordered before looking at the receipt and before looking at the burger. He kept insisting that I got what I ordered … until he opened up my burger. He saw the missing bacon and said he’d make me a new one. No apology. No respect. Wendy’s, you cannot afford to have employees like this running your stores this day in age especially when it’s so easy to go next door and get something fast without being publicly humiliated. I suggest some training in customer service and personal/public relations skills. Ladies and anyone else who doesn’t like to be verbally condescended in public, spare yourselves, keep your dignity and go to Sonic next door until Wendy’s resolves this. There are lots of reviews like this for this store and this manager. I know I’m not the only one.
Arrived at the drive thru window. They got my food wrong / the person at the window opened my burger and touched it in front of me. And didn’t speak English so couldn’t understand me. The other person there coughing and sneezing and then touching their nose 🤔🤔.Didnt even put my food in a bag. Just handed to me and was very rude This happened on 3/3 around 6 pm. My last trip to Wendy’s. Use to be my favorite burger place. Way to go Wendy’s. Hire bunch of goofballs to mess up your reputation
Bad fries there were really cold. The burger did not taste good. Worst $40 dollars I ever spend.
If you have the audacity to charge .50 for a 1oz BBQ sauce you had better be able to afford competent enough employees to package the BBQ sauce I paid for. (Spoiler alert: they do not)
I've tried not to add this review but it's time. Always check your food before you leave. If it's later at night it will be old cold food. Tonight I ordered 6 spicy with mango habenero. I got 4 regular with a Honey Mustard. I feel like they simply don't read the order as they bag it and I was the only car. All food was cold.
I visited the drive-thru and placed an order for the number 2 Double Meat Burger Meal with bacon and all toppings except cheese. There was only one vehicle in front of me, and I waited over 14 minutes before reaching the order window. When I arrived, I was asked to confirm if I was the one who ordered the meal. Upon receiving my order, I noticed that my drink was missing, so I had to remind them. At home, I discovered that the hamburger contained only two small pieces of bacon, with meat and some ketchup, but no lettuce, tomatoes, or pickles. Due to these issues, I do not plan to visit this location or any Wendy's for a long time I wish I had checked reviews for this location beforehand. I Definitely do not recommend Wendy's at this location, Horrible experience 🤨🤢
This might be the worst run Wendy's I have ever been to. I ordered 2 junior bacon cheesburgers and a medium fry. I received 4 bags of food on 4 attempts to get the food right. One time the guy asked me what sauces I wanted for my nuggets, and I just said wrong again. This place is terrible, good luck getting your food if they can't get the most basic order correct.
Dirty place, I’m 38 weeks pregnant. Went to the restroom and immediately started to throw up, it smelled bad and completely dirty.
We ordered 3 meals via the drive-thru. Discovered when I got home that one of the meals was missing. They also didn't give us a receipt for our order. I called and spoke to the manager. He offered a "free fries" if I came back to pick up the missing order. That's another 35 minutes of driving there and back home. Eh, no thanks. I asked for a refund for the missing food but the manager stated that they have to physically swipe the card in order to process the refund. Again, I'm stuck driving another 35 minutes to rectify something that's not my fault. Not going to be returning to this establishment.
Extremely disappointed with my experience. Went through the drive thru and ordered nuggets and baconator fries with a lemonade. Right away I noticed my nuggets were cold, no exaggeration whatsoever just straight up cold. However I was tired and just got off work so I went home. To my surprise, I open my bag to find absolutely no cheese on the baconator fries. Don’t even get me started on how they always short me with their lemonade. (Which isn’t cheap) Extremely frustrating as I work in the food industry and this is just unacceptable. To make the matter worse, I called the restaurant and no one even answered.
