Opinions de Aguilera's Rochester
Amazing fresh food. My husband and I shared two dishes and had a ton left over. The al pastor was our favorite and the beans and rice were wonderful. It's more of a take-out restaurant with only a couple small tables. The tres leches was the weakest point of the meal but the main dishes were fantastic. Service was quick and friendly.
We've been meaning to check out Aguilera's, so glad we did! We got delivery through GrubHub so we still haven't been in to eat, but the food was absolutely stellar. We ordered basic chicken tacos, birria tacos, and el pastor tacos - chips, salsa, and a couple of churros to top it off. Everything was outstanding. Crazily enough my favorite thing was the rice and beans that came on the side. Typically a "filler" dish, the rice and beans was absolutely stellar -the beans part was more like a thin sauce, but it was so flavorful I will definitely be ordering extra next time. Everything was really flavorful, well seasoned, just a damn fine meal.
The food is freshly made and you can enjoy it on site the atmosphere is pleasant and homely and the flavor is spectacular I highly recommend the soups and the fresh waters have a very good flavor
Yo, listen up, my peeps! These steak and chorizo tacos at this fresh Mex joint are straight up lit, no cap! 🌮🔥 The steak is mad juicy, like mouthwatering AF, and the chorizo brings that extra zing that'll blow your mind, fr! The tortillas? They're hella soft and doughy, like cloud nine for real. And let me tell ya, the guac and salsa? Pure fire, fam! 🥑🌶️ They take these tacos to a whole 'nother level of flavor madness. This place is legit the bomb dot com, my dudes. If you're craving some next-level tastiness, slide into this spot and let your taste buds vibe out, cuz it's a total game-changer! 🙌👅💥
The best fresh tortillas! It makes such a big difference. The fresh corn quesadilla blew our mind and the tacos are incredible. 10/10
Staff was very friendly, food came out quick, and the Al Pastor tacos were some of the best I've ever had! This place makes their corn tortillas fresh, so they come out pillowy and flexible. No double shell needed here, these tortillas wouldn't fall apart in your hand if you shook them. There's a small parking lot that they share with the other restaurants in the plaza, but you can also park on the street. It was a little warm in the restaurant, maybe there was an issue with the A/C.
This excellent new place on Monroe is most certainly worth your while. Their dishes are full of flavor – I particularly enjoyed their tacos al pastor and their birria tacos. Furthermore, their green salsa added a lot of flavor to all their dishes. If you want quality Mexican food from Sodus, this is the place to be.
Came here for lunch to try some of their tacos, and let me tell you they are banging! I'm picky when it comes to chorizo tacos, and I asked the beautiful lady that works there about them and she actually ley me sample the chorizo taco and it's my favorite one. I also got the steak and and it was really good too.ill be stopping by here more often
The food is consistent and delicious! The owner is usually at the counter and you get the clear impression, as a customer, that she takes pride in her craft. Bravo, Aguilera’s!!
My family and I went to have dinner at Aguilera's for the first time and I can tell you the food is amazing we love every thing that we ate I highly recommend this restaurant 😋 you will not be disappointed at all 10 stars

WAY BETTER THAN NENOS and PURA VIDA-VILE! Been quite a few times and it's really good every time. Birria tacos are bomb. Enchiladas are bomb. Al Pastor is very tasty. Burritos are good. Just wish they had Carnitas, Rellenos, and Tamales. All the people I took here to eat loved their food.
delicious and consistent food, 10/10 serving size for price, especially for salsa!!<3 i love this place. family run and gorgeous hand-painted murals lining the inside. please check it out if you get the chance!
Soo good! The food was delicious, made with love & family recipes. The spice is so dialed in to perfection & bursting with flavors. No heat just for it to be spicy here. It's spicy IS part of the flavor. The service was impeccable & quick. It was my 1st time here, we tried the enchiladas, steak tacos, flautas & churro, def recommend each and every bite of those & I will be back!

Wouldn’t recommend. Ordered sopes and a huarache and while the sopes were fine, at $13 for two, they’re pretty overpriced. The huarache, on the other hand, was terrible. Seemed like old reheated dough, very rubbery steak, and a big glob of tough, melted cheese. Not good
Nope totally bad experience with the food. First Latino food has specials characteristics that made it different from other countries. Taste and Seasonings but I didn’t find it in the food that I ordered. A basic flavor doesn’t taste like real Mexican food. No salsa or something like that. Ordered a steak burrito and it doesn’t has beans and taste. I will prefer a Chipotle burrito (American brand) over it. Then ordered A Chicken TORTA- wait never get shredded chicken in a Torta is supposed that is breaded chicken. Also, in the menu doesn’t say nothing about what kind of chick and nobody advised at the moment to place the order. The lady that was in the front desk needs to be retrained about costumer service and learn how to give the best to the costumers. And yes you speak Spanish too No I will no will be back to try this food. I hope you improve the experience about the food that you offer because the restaurant looks nice but nothing Mexican.

I got the Chicken huaraches, which wasnt traditional. beans and rice, a churro and empanada. I’ve had my fair share of Authentic Mexican food as it’s my favorite type of food, so I know pretty well what I’m looking for with an understanding that everyone cooks things differently… as much as I hate to say, the flavor isn’t flavoring like it should. Tastes generic/Bland. I thought I’d get more than just one... So $14.50 for one chicken nontraditional huarache(chicken taco) with a half bad slice of avocado is kinda steep. The flavor of the chicken just taste like they soaked it in chicken broth while boiling it.. rubbery as well. Not a lick of seasoning on anything. The fried beans were More of a watered down puree. Soup like. The churro was stale/hard. Been out for a while before it was served to me. For some reason, the empanada shell tasted like McDonald’s chicken nugget breading and there was absolutely no seasoning in the empanada stuffing, just boiled chicken and cheese. Doesn’t taste homemade. Overall, it’s something to eat if you’re hungry, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to get it. It tastes rushed and not made with love, so It’s just not for me. I normally don’t go out of my way to write negative reviews, But I’m really disappointed. $30 worth of food that I didn’t even eat. A lot of corners were cut and you can tell by the quality…Maybe they had a bad night or something, I’m not sure but I wouldn’t recommend based off of tonight’s meal.
I will start off by saying I was hoping this was going to be a good review but sadly I don’t have anything good to say. I ordered a steak quesadilla and chips and queso. The steak was not fresh and was rubbery and soaked in grease, the queso I was told was “homemade” but the pictures and taste tell me nacho cheese out of a can. I am so dissatisfied with all of these other reviews being good maybe someone new is cooking? Or new changes to the menu. Either way i wish I could have said better things. Maybe I would give them another try in the near future.
The tacos were just okay. The portions were tiny, and it is way too overpriced. I paid $22 just to leave hungry and not full. Do not recommend.

The food was HORRIBLE!!! I went there tonight because i wanted some fresh and a little healthy . This is the worst food ever and it was stank . It had no seasoning, quesadilla was horrible chicken wet like it was soaked in plain water. Tortilla was not grilled. 3 small tacos for 13 dollars and steak was dry and dry . Spent 40 dollars just to throw it away and eat fruit for dinner . Nachos was soaked in grease with some thick cheese and white chunky cream. I’m so disappointed and still hungry .
I don't normally leave a bad review but Aguilera's is truly bad. Ordered quesadillas with a coworker. What arrived was a tortilla wrapped around cold poorly seasoned meat. That's all no cheese. Who makes quesadillas without cheese? Cannot recommend this restaurant for any reason.

Sold me, rancid, spoiled food! Completely disregarded my request to remove certain items from the dish due to a food allergy, dine here at your own risk
