Girls weekend trip ended here for brunch. The restaurant is rustic, farm to table food with a very cozy vibe. The menu is impressive! You can tell the mixologist & chef collaborated with awe inspiring drinks and food! I got the hunting wives (love the catchy name) which was a milk punch with a nutty flavor and fee foam on top. Blown away by the drink ! I was so excited the bartender oked my drink choice, as there are brunch cocktails available, I preferred the one off the evening cocktail list. I ordered the kataifi which was a TASTE ADVENTURE!!! It was a hay-like crispy noodle which was light and airy, and in the center was 2 sunny side eggs with a herbal cream cheese. Wow!!! Great suggestion from our server, Fiona. Service was great, food and drink blew me away! This is a must stop if you are in the area! I can’t wait to try dinner!!

Hands-down favorite brunch spot while traveling in Rochester. Interior is quaint, service is expedient, and menu offers a commendable selection between savory and sweet. Brunch cocktails are lovely [favorites include their signature Bloody Mary and Pimmlet] and both the boudin benedict and oatmeal brulee [which I'll be attempting at home at my earliest convenience...] were stunning. Found the portion sizes and pricing to be more than adequate, personally. Cannot wait to return during my next visit to ROC.

Cure is an unforgettable dining experience. We stopped in for the first time last week, and were blown away by everything we tried, from in-house carbonated cocktails to the last course. Favorite dishes included the crispy half chicken and ricotta toast with chanterelles that was on special. The moules frites were some of the best I’ve ever had, with a very generous amount of mussels. We will definitely be back—the brie with fingerling potatoes was calling my name, and I will order it next time if it’s still on the menu.

Went there for my anniversary. The staff were so welcoming and were happy to celebrate with us. Our waitress Meghan was very friendly and attentive. The food was fantastic, and the atmosphere was classy and comfortable. The bartender Wyatt made fantastic drinks which was the cherry on top for this experience! Would absolutely go back!

This is a 5 star restaurant. Absolutely superb ingredients and immaculate orchestration of them. The short rib beef and biscuit was phenomenal. Poached egg was done perfectly with yolk that walked out of the white, rather than ran. Biscuit was brown and flaky with buttery and salty goodness. Nailed the strawberry danish real proper like with flaky and soft pastry and wholesome compote. Came back for dinner a few days later and the scallops were delicious with the perfect juicy and soft (but not raw) texture. It had a basil and herbed beats that I could eat—and I don’t eat beats. Ricotta cnocchi was so damn smooth it slid down the gullet with ease; no heavy chewing or rich resistance. Haven’t even had the pork chop I ordered yet but suspect it will be on point. Regardless, the delivery of all the above warrants a 5 star rating. Highly recommend. Mad props to the chef and cooks.

My wife and I were in from out of town and we stopped in on our anniversary. We had no plans, and no reservations but they were able to seat us comfortably. I’m not suggesting to not make a reservation, it’s probably a good idea since the place is smaller, but we got in early. The space is unique, a mix of modern industrial and cabin charm…(whatever that means) The surrounding area is awesome. Parking was easy if you care about that kind of stuff. The cocktail menu was compact but had plenty of variety. The beer list was accessible, and a bit of something for most people’s tastes. The wine list was a bit more expansive so finding something to sip on won’t be an issue. We went mostly small plates, but started with the Salmon Rilettes. Flavor was great, nice fat content, smoke came through but didn’t over power the dish. Seasoned really well. We also had the charcuterie + cheese board. Cheese was approachable, nothing crazy. I’m not sure if the charcuterie is made in house, but both the coppa, and the prosciutto were flavorful, and sliced appropriately. Honestly everything was just executed well. Would hit again.

I made myself a reservation because you never know, even though I was a solo diner. It did fill up rather quickly. I’ve heard this was the best restaurant in town, and once I saw the offerings, I knew I had to try it. I was able to order off menu for my cocktail, which was impressive given the waiter knew what I had asked for without having to explain it. Both the food and drinks were heavenly, melt in your mouth kind of sensatiable. Bonus points for the staff having Shout wipes available after I made a spill on my dress, and all I had asked for was some club soda. This *is* the best place in town, no notes!

Very good food and an attentive wait staff. The atmosphere is kind of old stagecoach stop, steam punk vibe. It's not very large, but it's worthorth the trip. We had reservations but may have been able to sit at the bar.

Cure has the perfect vibe, whether it be a cozy date for couples or a celebration for a bigger group. Moules-frites and coq a vin are my go-to dishes there. Drinks can't go wrong - try Like a Shark and Velvet Collar!

My favorite restaurant in Rochester! Service is on point and food is top quality! The Beef Bourguignon and Coq Chasseur especially blew me away. Don’t skip on the salad or the green peas! And best cocktails I’ve ever had! They are all great, but the Scotch Louie has changed my perception on cocktails! Complex, balanced and accessible.

Sunday brunch at Cure did not disappoint! My parents and I left happy and full. Best pancakes ever, and I don't get excited about pancakes. I prefer waffles. Crème fraîche pancakes with poached pears, walnuts and lemon zest were delicious!! Great bacon too...hearty, thick strips.

Bread! We love bread 😁 delicious food, great service and a relaxing atmosphere! We came to Rochester for the Strong Museum of Play for the kids. The adults need a break too. This was the perfect spot for dinner! Can't wait to come back!

One of the best restaurants in the area, Cure will delight although it may not be cheap. Plates can range from smaller to larger based on price, you’ll find. It’s all fair though and the flavors are truly excellent, very considered. Each dish uses sustainable ingredients from local purveyors, adding to the charm. The area is funky, edging a farmers market parking lot, and you can dine right in said parking lot at 4 quaint outdoor picnic tables or inside at crowded smaller tables (not great for COVID). Service is sharp, friendly, smart, and makes sure you’re never left in the dark. They’re there when needed and invisible when not needed, a hallmark of a well managed place! Fans of rigorously authentic French food may find it too inventive and Americanized/trendy, but that’s your problem, not Cure’s. The cute little brick holding down the table sign, the dish towel napkins… it’s all a vibe. Hip to a fault some will surely say, but it’s got the high quality food to back up whatever ambiance it wants to throw down. Friends have been here more than once and recommended it. So now we’ll gladly return. Only suggestion would be better separation for menu items so portion size is clearer. We knew from our friends but otherwise it’s confusing what’s small and what’s not. The linguine is stunning, some of the best I’ve had (and I’ve tried a lot of spectacular pasta). Some will find it a bit salty. The daily fish was halibut, which was lovely. The lamb is also a stand out and the quirky sunday hot dog is honestly very good if just hilariously hip and obviously not so French. Cocktails also very solid. All of the ceramic and glass and flatware was unpretentious, going more for the American grill theme. Not a problem. Obviously if you aren’t down for the very simple outdoor seating or tighter indoor seating, you may not love every moment - but we surely did. :)

We've been to cure multiple times for both brunch and dinner and never been disappointed. They consistently deliver some of the best food and service in Rochester. The cocktails are worth a visit by themselves!

Cure was fantastic! We were greeted by a charming hostess, the entire staff was friendly and attentive! The drink menu was so fun! We tried a few different ones and they were all delicious! The food was amazing, the plateau de fromage, bhan mi and bussel salad were all delicious! We'll definitely be back to try a few more dishes!

Great food and great cocktails. The mezcal cocktail was specifically a favorite in my party. The coq au Vin was juicy and tender, and the salmon has a perfect crispy skin. The beef stroganoff is the best dish of the night. Beef was tender and full of flavors. Be aware of the fried anchovy, they are of the pickled variety, so it's going to be salty and sour.

This place is very unique because of the fact that it is basically 3 joint places all in one. Flour City Bread Company is right next door but opens up into Cure while their Coffee Bar Java's is also in the place. I knew Flour City Bread had great breakfast sandwiches but seeing as it is a shared kitchen I was delighted with the food at Cure. My wife and I got the potato bacon waffle with an egg in top and Flour City Bread with honest butter and Nutella. As you can see by the pictures the plating was beautiful. And just as the plating was beautiful the flavors were as well. Both dishes were outstanding. The waffle, while it didn't look like it would fill me up, certainly did. Quite hearty. We also had their "Pamplemousse Mimosa." Strange name but it also delicious! By far some of the best food I have eaten in Rochester. Oh and atmosphere is awesome. French farmhouse style. Very simple and elegant with vintage bottles filled with water for the table. All and all an awesome brunch experience. We will certainly be returning.

i'm still dreaming about the mussels and garlic bread I had. the space is a little cramped but the service was excellent and the food was great. Definitely not a cheap night out but everything is yummy and pretty big portions so it's worth it.

The food was ok, but for the price not that good. I was expecting something way better. But the cocktails delicious. The guy in the bar prepared a cocktail in base of what I liked. I appreciated that.

Hot food should come out hot. Came in for a festive brunch and ordered Crab Benedict. It wasn’t even warm…and the crab on the plate looked like cat food.

So let me start out by complimenting how amazing the food was and how great our waiter was. I had the steak and it was perfectly cooked and delicious. My wife had the scallops and they were flawless. Amazing drinks! Our waiter was super nice and I can't say enough about the food. However, it was almost 90° inside the restaurant. I'm assuming the air conditioning wasn't working properly, but they did have to AC split units running and it doesn't seem likely they were both broken. What was odd, was that none of the wait staff or management or anyone that worked at the restaurant said anything about the temperature. We didn't expect free food or anything else but we did expect someone to say, "hey it's really hot in here and we're really sorry it's not usually like this." Maybe in France they don't have air conditioning and everyone that eats in a restaurant in France is sweating all over themselves and is miserably hot the entire time. That's how it was at the Cure we will not be returning.

The setting is nice but dark. Table was lopsided and i had to fix it or the food and drinks would shake the entire time. The food takes forever to be delivered and customer service is sub par. Empty wine and drink glasses and no even asks if you'd like another. We had to flag down other people to get the waitress attention. Had reservations for new years eve. It was supposed to be special and the food was burnt, small portions, and I dont why it says french restaurant. Dishes were small. It took an hour from 2nd to 3rd entree to get the main course. Got dessert to go cause we weren't waiting another hour for rhe 4th serving. It turned a special evening and holiday into a nightmare and ruined it. It is not worth the cost and would definitely not go here again. There are better restaurants with better service and atmosphere in Rochester. I understand it might be busy, but dont book so many reservations or have the staff to handle the reservations for meals that were were not cheap.

We’ve been loyal customers of Cure since 2024, and it’s always been one of our favorite spots. The beef tartare, in particular, is outstanding—compliments to the chef—and keeps us coming back time and again. Unfortunately, yesterday’s pickup experience was very disappointing. Since they offer Curbside, I decided to give it a try. My order was scheduled for 5:50, and I arrived early at 5:37. I called as instructed and was told the food would be ready in about 10 minutes. By 6:01—more than 20 minutes later—no one had come out with my order or reached out to me. I continued waiting, assuming the team might be busy. When I called again, I was told, “It’s been done,” in a tone that felt dismissive. The restaurant wasn’t busy, so it seemed my order had simply been overlooked. To make matters worse, when I asked if “curbside” meant I should come inside, the response was a curt, “Yes,” with no acknowledgment that curbside service is something you advertise. If that’s the case, it may be better to either ensure employees are properly trained on offering this service or remove the option altogether. We truly love Cure and the quality of your food, which is why this experience was such a letdown. I’m sharing this feedback because we know how much care usually goes into both your dishes and your service, and we hope this part of the experience can be improved moving forward.
