Had read about House of Whacks and I have to say, anytime someone is serving waffles, I'm up for giving it a try. And I'm glad we did. I had the yummy wafflewich - an egg, cheese and bacon breakfast sandwich with lettuce and tomato. My companion ordered the Tiramisu Waffle - a waffle topped with tiramisu, ice cream, lady fingers and whip cream. Not exactly breakfast but sometimes ya just gotta start with dessert first. :-) As full as we were, we didn't leave before buying some Cracked Cake for the road. Lemony chewy base with pudding and powdered sugar top. OMG! I will say we waited for 30 minutes for our food which seemed a little excessive while the restaurant wasn't very busy yet the owners made up for it. They checked on us to ask how the food was and if there was anything we needed. They were very personable and it was obvious they are all about the customer and the food. A great combination. 👍🏻

I ate here while in town for a wedding and it’s one of the highlights for my trip. I’m from NYC originally but have traveled to 30 states and counting. This fried chicken with my waffles was better than I’ve had in TN AND ALL OVER. It was delicious and the people working had an attitude that only made it easier to have stopped. Beautiful in and out

I live close by and I've been meaning to check out this place for a while. Super good vibes when I walked in, exactly the type of place I love. I ordered the roasted chicken lunch special with strawberry milkshake cake, and walked away with a bag that weighed probably 4 pounds. I took one bite and had to drop my fork for a second. Unbelievably good cooking, one of the most "home-cooked" feeling meals I've ever had from a restaurant. If you're even within 20 minutes of here, check it out, you won't be disappointed. I'll definitely be back.

haven't had their food (yet!) but as a driver i love picking up from this place and will accept low offers i wouldn't normally accept because i can stop in. their staff is super friendly and welcoming, no one's ever ignored me or kept me waiting long, and they have free treats for drivers if you need a snack or a drink for the road which is always such a relief. on my worst days with other merchants it makes me appreciate them even more! looking forward to trying them out as a customer sometime too

The waffles were incredibly flavorful; just the right amount of vanilla & cinnamon! So good!! I had some fresh cut strawberries and whipped cream on mine. The honey & cinnamon butter is also very tasty. Hubby got the chicken and waffles. The chicken was also delicious. We wish we didn't live 6 .5 hours away, as we would certainly be regular customers.
