I was starving after a 2 show day at Geva Theatre! Our show ended at 9:30pm. Thank you for being apparently the only place in Rochester who serves food past 10pm. Ordered bbq wings which were on point! And something I thought was a stacked up burger with a bunch of stuff in it. Totally wasn’t what I was thinking and I really didn’t want it. So I sent it back and got a burger instead with cheddar cheese, lettuce tomato, pickles, and mayo, which was perfectly cooked and so juicy! And it came with curly fries. Our server (Leah) was super accommodating about that. I felt bad to have food get sent back and I do hope someone in the staff ate it or packed to take home. Thank you Leah for being awesome and caring about me enjoying the food I was having. I’d definitely go back and get both items again. Just what I needed after a long day. Pricing was good too!
Ordered burgers and wings online and it was delicious!! Best wings I’ve had in a while — big, and lots of sauce! The Nawlins Blues wings were soooo delicious! Delivery was fast and the food was still piping hot! Can’t wait to come visit in person once I am fully vaccinated!
Jeremiah's is by far one of my favorite places to go. It's a chill and relaxed environment yet still has a fun vibe to it. They have so many beers and ciders to choose from (if you enjoy that) and the food is also incredible. I've never had something I didn't like there! Also if you go you NEED to try the wings, they are voted best wings in Rochester every year and it's absolutely true! These are the best wings I've ever had by far! (Make sure you ask for the bee sting sauce which is their signature sauce). You can't go wrong!
Really really great little pub. Incredible food, huge selection of draft beer, really polite staff. Features indoor and outdoor seating. I don't have much to say about the place, because I really can't think of anything to complain about. Everything about this place is great.
Enjoyed the food, the beer, and the service. Looks like they have take out. The wings were pretty damn good. We had hot buffalo, but there were several flavors that sounded good.
Got the hot buffalo wings. Good as always. Need a new sauce to try? Give the bee sting wings (boneless is a great option with this sauce) a whirl. Excellent choice if you like the sweet and spicy.
The food is remarkably good for a bar/pub. Jeremiah's is definitely one of my most favorite restaurants in Rochester. I've tried almost every item on the menu and I like them all. They're known for their wings (I prefer the Bee Sting sauce) but I don't think they get enough credit for the rest of their menu. The Buffalo Chicken wrap is great, their Twisted Mac and Cheese is amazing, and the lobster bisque and their clam chowder (both on Fridays) are incredible. They have a HUGE beer selection (on tap), and the place itself had plenty of seating - especially for large groups. I'd recommend this Rochester staple to anyone.
I have lunch at Monroe Ave with former work colleagues once a month, and we use the Perinton one, as it's closer to home, for other events. Food and service at both are really good. Good atmosphere too!!
Meg, bartender/manager, is on top of everything there! Food= great Service= great Atmosphere = good Nice local bar to drink, eat good food, play quick draw, darts and have a good time. Too many beers on tap to try and name. Great outdoor seating. Good parking. Very walkable neighborhood.
Food has always been good, and mostly consistent! Have to say though they have some of the best customer service I have ever experienced! My girlfriend placed a grubhub order for pretzels and beer cheese, she was having hard pregnancy craving for the beer cheese. Jeremiah's delivered! She was so excited and elated by the sheer amount of cheese. Called them to thank them and they were so polite and excited about it. Great part of the community, great food, great staff, 10/10.
First time here. I had the Nawlins Blues chicken wings. I'm always looking to try something new that you may not be able to get somewhere else. I'm glad I did...very very good!!! I couldn't stop eating them :)*
The food was fantastic. The server was very friendly and cheerful. Love the French onion soup and also the brie/grilled pear sandwich. ***update...we went back last night and took a friend. We were able to get our same server JJ (I requested him). The food was even better and the service was excellent. I live about an hour away and We will make a point to go back. They do have coke products which my husband doesn't like, but that's okay. The food and service make up for it.
Quintessential Tavern food. It was delicious. This place has been around for decades. Regardless it's clean and friendly. Service was prompt
Been coming here for years, first time ever there was a small issue with our take-out order. Called and spoke to Tiffany, she took care of it immediately and more, such a sweet girl! Awesome place.
We love going here. Meg, the manager, is friendly and accommodating. The beer choices are exceptional, as well as the food!
Great spot for food and sports. Amazing wings, and the wing dip is also out of this world. All the food we got was solid (big party, got lots of food and shared), so it's safe to say the kitchen knows what they are doing. Menu is huge, and I can't wait to go back and try some more. Tons of TV's, all the good sports networks. Only downside for me is no pool table, but even with that they deserve 5 stars all day. 10/10
Stopped here to visit with a co-worker. They had lots of different beers on tap and a full bar. We got wings which were really good and the place had a neighborhood feel to it. Was nicely decorated and they had three rooms of seating. Would definitely stop there again :)
This really is one of the best bars on this street in my opinion. Great place to meet fiends and family, and love the branding of the bar and the interiors they have chosen. It’s a roomy tavern type bar. Large enough for watching sports on a busy weekend but quaint enough to hear the people you are sitting with as well. Their beer selection is pretty great as well. Can’t go wrong with bud light or $5 pitchers on game day. Been going here for a few years now, can’t say it’s the healthiest food though. Definitely watch the wings, this bars flavors are great.
We were spending the weekend in Rochester and I figured that because we are close to Buffalo, this would be a good place to get wings. We heard that Jeremiah's tavern had the best wings in town. I would have to agree with that. I love Buffalo wings and have had them in many different restaurants throughout the northeast. These wings were at least as good as anything I've had and probably the best. The sauce was fantastic and the wings were done just right, nice and crisp. The atmosphere was great, very old-time taverny. I've never been to Buffalo, but if you're in Rochester this is the place to go for great wings.
Great menu, great food, great beer list, great service, and our server did us a solid and put the hockey game on one of the TVs. My only complaint was the echo in the room we were in, which was really only a problem because of one table with 8 people all trying to be the center of attention, but it got pretty loud in there. Some sound dampening would be very welcome.
What a great way to end my trip in Rochester! The wings were definitely award-winning! I also couldn't have asked for a better server. He went above and beyond when it came to answering my questions. He also was great at not coming around and bothering us unless necessary. It was a perfect last dinner in Rochester!
Had the pretzel. Best pretzel I've ever had! Pizza Bee sting. Very good. And small order of wings. Everything was excellent.
This has gotta be the best all-over bar in town. Try the chicken wings and be sure to say "extra crispy." Then you have decide which of about 10 ways you want them cooked. A real bar with great food.
What a great place! Had two cater events here they accommodate us perfectly and the food is sooo good. The chicken wings delicious they make some great Rochester “garbage/trash” plates with steak flies and I luv the meat sauce!!! Also great staff super friendly and attentive!! Will be booking cater events here again in the future or just stoping by for dinner and lunch!
Jeremiah's is a great place! Been to all location and they are all great! Food is always good and my favorite is Beesting/Cajun mixed wings. Monroe Ave Location has the best bartenders like Meg and Tiffany. Highly recommend!
The new renovations make the bar look much more open, Leah’s hospitality was great and she made us feel like home, she recommended the Cajun/Bee-Sting wings which were perfectly cooked and amazing. Highly recommended coming for a football game of just to hang with your folks 🥳
My whole family had dinner here, 8 adults and 6 children under 6 years old. We had a great time. The food was good. We sat at two booths that were next to each other.
I like the open rustic setting. The food is always good. The servers are cordial, friendly and quick. I would recommend this casual restaurant any day!
Great addition to the west side! Food was good, restaurant was very clean, wings were delicious, service was quick!! Great overall experience. My only suggestion is that they need to turn down the air...it is cold as a meat locker in there...my kids were shivering on a 90 degree day! The waitstaff was moving at a fast pace, so I am sure they appreciated the temp, but diners should bring a sweater to throw on!
Drinks, drinks, and more excellent drinks!! This is a great spot to hang out in. It can get loud, but that's expected since it's a sports bar. The pow pow shrimp was spicy and delicious. My husband's garlic wings were just OK. The garlic sauce over them was watery/runny. The loaded steak fries were also a bit over done. Maybe it was an off night for the cook, because the food is usually very good. Nevertheless, our waitress was great and I will be back again!
My first time going here, the wings are by far some of my favorite in Rochester. Our server wasn't very attentive and would forget about us every once in awhile. The Buffalo Chicken dip was pretty good however to be honest the reason to go here is for the wings and beer. Beer selection isn't too bad, don't expect much in the way of craft selection.
Waitress was great, the nacho were not as good as the one in Fairport. I had ordered pull pork on top and it didn't have much meat at all. I will go back due to the awesome service. Their operating hours are good too.
Great service. We had a meet up with some friends that had not been to Rochester in a while and were looking for Buffalo Wings. This was one of the first places they thought of to satisfy their craving. We also got 2 orders of the poutine.
Wings, drinks, atmosphere are good. The rest of the food menu isn't anything special. AT&T cell reception is bad non-existent. Football is hyped so if you're looking for a hyped football atmosphere, it's a great place for a Sunday afternoon. Jerimiahs has free parking and the restaurant is very spacious. The wait staff are super friendly and always asking if the table needs anything. Edit: going from 3 to 4 stars because the wings are AMAZING
Our first time in the new Jeremiah's in Gates was a good experience, despite varying reviews. The customer service was very good, we were seated right away, and our waitress was very friendly, polite, and bubbly! The atmosphere was nice as well, very spacious, lots of tvs, and outdoor seating as well. Finally, the food was good except one of our burger's was charred to a crisp when we asked for medium-rare. She offered to get us a new burger or something different right away.
Excellent wing platter. Down a star because service was a little slow and couldn't get anybody to take my order for about 15 min after I came in. Also, the food took awhile to come out. But the food was bussin and Thank God they had the NBA Finals on.
They could use more staff and better train them because being in a restaurant for a total of 3 and half hours for a party of 15 is just waay too long. But other than that, beer selection was great and their signature wings were well worth the wait. I tried a total of six flavors and they were all good!
Generally good but always noisy, very hard to hold a conversation. Food good and consistent. Our party of 6 had numerous problems with wrong orders or having to ask for items several times. Good sports bar but not the right place for quiet contemplation and reading a book.
This Jeremiah's Tavern is conveniently located right around the corner, about a 2 minute drive, from Cobb's Hill, so our softball team routinely comes here after games. It's usually easy to find a free table and order at the bar. The tap list is rotated regularly and has a good variety of options from stouts to sours. The food is good here too. We love their pizza! I would definitely recommend coming here!
Some days/times are better than others. I have had great service when dinning in the bar sections. Bartender and waitstaff were friendly and great service. I have sat in the dinning room and mostly great service. I have ordered for delivery and it goes downhill. I ordered warm apple crisp. it was cold and nothing like apple crisp. Seasoned panko on top, does not make sliced apples, apple crisp.
Wings are awesome!! Must try the Nawlins Blues sauce! Service was okay, just really slow. Mac salad and cornbread were both bland and overcooked. Server switched out onion rings for me and they were great! French onion soup was pretty good, too. Will definitely be back for more wings!!
For me it's a quick walk there, and a nice staple. It's a sports bar, so it's what you'd want out of a sports bar. Wings are always good, and everyone knows that, since they've been voted best wings in Rochester for like a billion years. All the other food I've had has been good also. The brie burger was sloppy, tasty and different. Service has always been really good. It can get a little crowed though, especially during football. Oh one other thing that i didn't expect, their bloody Mary's are quite delicious. I've had bloodys every place I go, and theirs is well above the average sports bar, and actually above a lot of other places who actually advertise bloody Marys.
Jeremiahs always has good food, and is great for the price. The only issue is the service. My only issue is the service. The last 2 times, we have had the same waiter who is honestly not good. The first time, my friend asked for an additional water and the waiter said “ohh the fish wants another water?” Not really that funny and just strange. The second time we had him, he was extremely slow, not bringing drinks out until after the food had arrived. I plan on returning because the food is consistently very good and I’ve had other good experiences there, but the waitstaff just needs some work.
Awesome bartender, as well as staff. Great personality that always makes you feel welcome whether it's your first time, or you are a seasoned patron at the establishment. Food is awesome, especially the garbage plate style item menu. I will continue to happily spend my money here.
The renovation is very very nice but the service was a bit slow and the tv situation was not managed well. Could have just been a busy night tho
Was here to celebrate a friend's sober anniversary and there was a place that was in the back that was more private and intimate for that gathering even though 20 some people showed up for this dinner which was amazing because the server who took our orders she was incredible! The food was absolutely mouth watering 🤤 and accurate, so kudos to the Chef and waitress and she was there to for drinks refills and the checks. No complaints!!!!
Was really wanting wings for dinner tonight and Google Maps indicated Jeremiah's was legit. Got a booth in the bar and ordered some drinks and apps. The French onion soup 🍲 was pretty good, but the traditional wings with their Korean BBQ sauce were the highlight for me. Our server was good without hovering. Definitely recommend and will return to try other wing sauces.
Went for lunch with a buddy and had a great time. Ended up getting a meatball skillet for an app and it was great. The meatballs had great flavor and it was topped with ricotta cheese and came with a side of toasted garlic bread. I think I got the bbq chicken pizza which was really good. Super cheesy on a pita bread type thing but was fantastic. Blueberry blonde was alright
A friendly and local bar with very good wings with a tasty choice of sauces and flavors. I got to taste the garbage pail which was enjoyable. I will it come back again on my next visit
Nice remodel. Good food and service.
Classic bar in a great location. In my experience the food is pretty standard bar food with nothing special. The wings have gone down on quality over the years, and if you get them during busy hours they're likely to be soggy. I do love the neighborhood it's in and the bar side is fantastic for watching games or other events. Usually plenty of seating. You shouldn't have to wait long to get a table.
I have been a regular at this fine establishment for years. I’ve made great relationships here with the staff and patrons. I am a little upset to hear that my girl Leah is no longer bartending and back to serving? She’s always been a pleasure to spend time with having drinks and food. Surprised by the change
I have visited this place on numerous occasions because it is the very closest place I can go for a drink. So, occasionally I go with someone that insists on getting the food there, which is fine. However, without exception, the food is consistently bland. Every dish I have ever ordered tastes like sadness. It's not a repulsive taste by any means. It's just boring and bland, with exception to a handful of their wing sauces. It reminds me of the line from City Slickers when the cook explains what they'll eat on the cattle drive: "You ain't gonna get any nouveau, amandine, thin crust, bottled water, sauteed city food. Food's brown, hot, and plenty of it." I guess if you have enough of their very inexpensive, but plentiful selection of alcohol, it won't matter that the brown food tastes brown.
Just came from here for my first visit. The drinks were very good and strong. I also ordered loaded fries which were just okay and were over cooked. I got the garlic parmesan wings which were ok also. I have only had garlic parmesan wings at one other place which were delicious. The wings here however were disappointing because they were drenched in minced garlic sauce. It was like eating scampi. They get a great review for drinks but the food wasn't on point tonight.
Great wings. Good 90s rock and alternative tunes. Interior is a bit drab, but the menu is awesome. Definitely will return to this well known bar and restaurant's original location.
The wings are very average, at best. I would say that half the time they're not well fried. The sauces are pretty good, though I've had a few that are somewhat thin (probably due to the frying). When it is busy, the food is under cooked (wings are not crispy, flat bread pizza is underbaked, etc.). Prices are...fine. I've typically chosen to go elsewhere unless friends are already there.
Came here based on other reviews. Must have been an off night because service was pretty inattentive. Our server was very nice, whenever they came around. Appetizers were decent. Food was just OK. Tried the smoked wings and was underwhelmed - they were very dry, almost jerky-like, and the requested sauce was practically nonexistent, so they lacked much flavor. Should have ordered the traditional instead. That said, I’d probably give it another chance.
Had a couple beers, was thinking about getting food, something's wrong when chicken wings are probably the most expensive thing in the menu, and they know that the price is gone. Employee told me that's the biggest complaint. Absolutely ridiculous, yes they're known for their wings, but they should be considerably less to their sirloin steak tips that are the same price. In fact 99% of their menu is cheaper than chicken wings. Chicken wings are supposed to be the thing you sell the cheapest, not the most expensive. I know what the markup is, I can assume they're losing a lot of sales and business because of this. Bartender was friendly.
Great wings. My burger was pretty good. The fish tacos and the salad were meh. Like most places they're currently understaffed, so service took a while. But I can't blame them for that.
We got takeout on a Wednesday night. The food we got was good, but it was honestly not worth the money at all. I paid $15 for a cubano that was smaller than my (average-size) hand and came without pickles (a kind of gripe I would not usually make, but for $15...a cubano should have pickles). My boyfriend paid $15 for the schnitzel sandwich that was about the same size. Fortunately, the pineapple teriyaki wings we got were delicious, but weren’t enough to make up for the sandwiches. Ultimately we won’t be coming back here, at least not on our own dime. Food was tasty but not worth it.
Jeremiah's Fish Fry. Disappointing. There is not much to say really. We had fish fries for dinner tonight, 4 of us got dinners from 4 different places and this one came in last. The meal was pretty lifeless. I don't think they are trying to blow anyone away with their fish fry dinner but for $15.54 this is disappointingly small and the small size was by no means due to the quality of the fish. 4.4 out of 10
I felt they needed more waitresses. The waitress we had was dealing with a large party. Which ended up taking longer to get drinks and food. Then when we were ready to leave after having food remade twice. Unfortunately, the waitress was talking to rable behind us. Then disappeared for another 10 minutes. She could have come over to see if we needed anything. Nope! I blame management for under staffing. The food was okay. Whoever they have in the kitchen needs to be retrained in cooking. Usually, I'm not this harsh, except the amount of time waiting for service and food was ridiculous. The place was empty in the seating area except the party and two other tables.
It was a busy weekend dinner time during the Holidays, seems they were understaffed. Took a long time for server to come over, but when she did she was very nice and apologetic. Our cocktails never arrived and she checked and seemed shocked. But then they finally reached us. My husband ordered the shrimp tacos and it was truly terrible. We should have taken a picture. Two shrimp, maybe three swimming, COATED in so much sauce, running all out of the tortillas impossible to pick up and eat. No real sides come with it, you choose your own instead. No rice or tortilla chips or anything, you could get fries or whatever, seemed a bit odd. We will NEVER order that again. On the positive side, their traditional bar food it great! Love the steak fries, burgers are incredible. It’s a good spot and a go-to for an easy meal with casual atmosphere.
We wanted to see renovations so stopped in for late Friday night dinner. New bar area looked great. Unfortunately, food had no flavor. Started with poutine which was 'meh' with soggy fries, no flavor, and huge blobs of mozzarella. Ruben was also no flavor. Bruschetta pizza was no flavor buried in mozzarella. Craft beer selection was good so nice place to meet friends, but would go someplace else for dinner.
Spent an absurd amount of money on 15 wings and an order of french fries. Pick up was quick. Fries were raw, didn't even bother tossing the wings in the sauce. Definitely not coming back, the second takeout menu that's been absolute waste of money. (That's the baking sheet we put the fries on at home to finish cooking them, they weren't just cold, they were literally only half cooked.) Food was similarly bad a couple months back but we assumed it was just an off night, at this point I think they just don't care about takeout.
This place has really gone down hill. Used to love it and they had great wings. Suddenly within the last year they forgot how to cook wings. Also last time I went there they split up my friends and put us in whole different rooms because the waitresses wanted to each have half of us in their section?? There was barely anyone else there.
I want to first say that Jeremiah’s is one of my favorite restaurants to go to, particularly the Monroe Avenue location (Jefferson Road location is super unreliable and I always have issues with the food there). So I will give them two stars, but based on my experience last night, they deserve one star. I was a party of two and we sat in the dining area where there were four other tables besides us, and one server waiting on the room. I’ve served tables for years, so I know that’s not that much to juggle and it wasn’t busy. That being said, my brother and I waited 20 minutes before I went up front to tell the host the server had not come by yet. She told us she “wasn’t informed” she had a new table.... it’s one room. How did you not see us? At that point we put our whole order in, which was one app and two entrees. We waited about another 20 minutes with no food. We originally arrived around 7:25 that night and after it hit 8:25 and we had no food still (and we watched our server sit down with guests at another table) we left. I’ve never walked out on a dinner like that. I have never received service like that. Never written a review for a restaurant before. I will be back but I will make sure I’m not sat with that server again. If that was my first experience at Jeremiah’s I would never come back there. The food is good but they really need to get it together. Would love to add a photo but it would just be of a cup of water.
I used to love this place because it had consistent food right around the corner from me, but my god have the just gotten worse and worse this past year. Used to be my go to wing spot until 3 out of my last 4 orders were disgraceful (one order had mutated wings where you could see more bone than chicken, how do you serve that). I understand theres a wing shortage but it is robbery to serve the smallest wings in Rochester for the highest price in Rochester. $18.50 for 10 tiny baby wings is a joke. At least put enough sauce on them, or remember to give me my side half the time. Went from favorite to bust in 6 months. So sad man.
Really not great experience. My friend arrived early and got a table and ordered a beer and chips w queso dip. It took 30 min for the beer and almost 45 for the chips to arrive. The dip was not great, kind of gluey, but whatever. When we got our main dishes, my wings had no sauce on them - after I asked they brought me out a side of the sauce they said they should have been on them and it was clear they got the order wrong. This sauce was never put on the wings. Also, the corn bread was very rubbery. Then we realized the burger we ordered was also wrong and they brought us bbq of some sort, not a burger at all. When they did bring a new order out it was over cooked and by that time everyone else had finished their meal so we had a couple bites and wrapped it up. Nothing from the meal was comped or discounted. Super sad bc they used to have the most amazing wings and this great chicken salad sandwich that's no longer on the menu. Unfortunately we won't be back again.
Food was decent. Had the veggie burger and onion rings. Had to wait for a table when we got there, the host was everywhere but at the desk. Our waitress was good, she appeared to be the only one working. The down sides, it's extremely loud and extremely filthy. I'd be willing to try another location.
I have probably wrote two reviews in my life. This last order was so awful I couldn't help myself. My wife and I wanted wings and two side salads and were debating Jeremiah's or Perris. Both close to our house. We went with Jeremiah's and usually it's amazing. Love the catatonic wings, the service , everything. We called and specifically ordered 10 medium buffalo wings, two blue cheese, crispy and saucy, and two side salads with crumbly blue and Italian dressing. Everything was awful. Wings were mushy and not cooked, one blue cheese, and salads were even worse. It's not a tough order for 30 bucks. I went in, had a drink, a shot, tipped hostess and bartender. Both were very nice and gave great service. Whoever is cooking needs to step it up or they are going to lose a lot of business. They did offer to replace wings but we just ordered some from Perris and decided we didn't want to even bother. Hope next time is different.
What the hell happened to this place?? In the past I've given it a 5 star rating & thought they had the best wings in Rochester. But I went there recently and the wings were only fair... not very warm & not very meaty... most were scrawny wings with only 2 drumsticks in the entire order for 3 people! On top of that, we rarely saw our waitress, even though we needed things throughout our meal. She couldn't have cared less about us until the magic "tip time" came. I guess I should've known things had really gone downhill there when I called on a Friday evening & was told that I didn't need a reservation. Sure enough, when we got there we were greeted by tons of empty tables at 8pm! In retrospect, we should've just turned around & left at that point. I guarantee I won't be going back there again. What a shame, it used to be a great place for draft beers, wings, fish frys & pub food.
Experience here has always been great! Whether my wife and I are at the bar with Meg, or dining with Alexa, it’s overall a fantastic time. My only concern is when we go home…no matter where we sit in the entire restaurant, we somehow still leave with a fryer smell imbedded in our clothes and hair. It’s been something we have noticed when they reopened and thought it was only us, until multiple of our friends and family said the same exact thing!!! Not sure what happened with the remodeling but something needs to get fixed.
Unfortunately, my family and I will not be visiting Jeremiah’s again until they take a long, hard look at the service, menu, and overall experience provided for the cost of a meal here. We visited the recently renovated location twice and were sad to find that both times, the food and service had not improved/changed and in fact seemed to have gotten worse. Both times service was poor, including being promised items that were requested, accommodations for kids, and more that were never provided. Waters were never once refilled. The second time our waitress completely forgot about us and we had to search the restaurant to find her and pay for the meal. The food was one-note and bland. My fish was burned on one visit. On another, my husband said his sandwich lacked any discernible flavor. For two adults and one toddler, we paid almost $80 both times! Insane. We like patronizing local businesses but unfortunately we will be withdrawing our business until significant improvements are made.
Been frequenting Jeremiah's on Monroe at least once a week for over a year apart from the remodel. Disappointed more wasn't done and the food wasn't better for how long they were closed. Bar looks nicer but underwhelmed. Honestly feels like the owners dragged their feet to get rid of the prior staff and bring in new cheaper help that just aren't the same. Leah, especially, is sorely missed at the bar. Really don't understand what's going on with the decision making lately.
My food was very bland and my friends food was very dry. While my drink came out instantly, my friend's drink came after our food arrived (after ordering appetizers). I ordered a cocktail and my friend got something in draft. Staff was nice but the food wasn't the best. Dessert was very good.
Chicken tasted plain and flavorless. The sauce was at the bottom of the container and no sauce was on the wings, not to mention I ordered extra saucy. I'm glad I didn't tip. Highly upset because I pretty much believed the hype and paid $2 a unflavored wing. Could've went to the corner store and paid less for better.
how can something be so inconsistent as easy as a steak sub. first time all the bread was burnt second time no cheese third time didn't toast bread at all and forgot A-1 sauce and you charge for take out . Must be a lot of drunk people like your food . I won't make the mistake of returning and will pass this on to as many as I can.
I really had high hopes for this place. Honest. But I have not had service this bad at a restaurant for as long as I can remember. It was a pretty slow Tuesday night and we were sat at a table by our host (who was wonderful, to be fair) and waited 25 minutes to be greeted by the waitress (who was sitting chatting with other customers) until we found our host and informed him she hadn’t helped us. Apparently she was never ‘told’ she had another table... it was literally a square room with no more than 5 other groups sitting down. Why does she need to be informed when this is clearly her designated area? We finally had our order taken by her and waited another 40 minutes for appetizers that never came before we just decided to leave. During that waiting period our waitress could be seen chatting with customers about her favorite types of chasers for doing shots and other times just sitting at a table in a corner doing nothing. Overall an hour spent in this restaurant and all I received in that time was a glass of lemonade and one visit from our waitress to take our order once she finally decided to acknowledge us. I really wanted to like this place.
Disappointing experience. Slow service on a slow night, rude bartender, upcharged at the bar, and the food was bad. Not worth it.
Waited several minutes to be seated per the sigh at the host stand. In that time no staff came over or indicated they would be with us shortly we eventually just left quietly. In the past the food was mediocre yet the service and experience is what made it worth it to eat here. I have hosted many out of town clients and relied on Jeremiah's to not let me down.
I always want to run to Jeremiah’s when I’m home visiting after moving to DC. It’s a shame that I was not helped or acknowledged for almost 30 minutes upon arrival and seating. There was no host, which may have been why we had to seat ourselves, but once we were sat at the booths in the bar area, the bartender on call walked past us several times not even saying hello or that she’d grab someone. I remember thinking we’d finally made proper make eye contact, and that now she’s walking over to help us, but I quickly realized her smile and eye contact was for a lonely dirty glass sitting alone at a high top just beside us which she picked up and went back to the bar with. Do I really have to say what color my skin is? Horrible service and poor judgement of guest based on skin color. Will be calling management with the complaint. As small as Rochester is, someone who left years ago thinks to spend their money and first “back home outing” at your establishment only to not be welcomed or appreciated. Hats off to the server who recognized my friend by face and finally stepped in to make sure we were taken care of.
very underwhelming food. got the turkey avocado wrap. the turkey was mushy and moist and the avocado was week past prime. there was a piece of bacon. the flavour was just terrible. very disappointed. none of the other meals my co workers got looked any better.
Ordered wings last week and got them no sauce and little puddle of sauce on the bottom that would barely be enough for 1 wing. Called back immediately and was told that the GM would be calling me for a refund. 5 days later I haven't received a call. Called back and was told that the GM has been in since then... Terrible service. UPDATE: Went back in person and the GM was very nice and gave me a refund and remade my order.... And there was no sauce still (pic without foil)
I got chicken tenders, steak fries, and Mac n cheese to go... The Mac n cheese was too gross to even eat. Looked yummy, but tasted like it was frozen then microwaved and expired Colby Jack was melted onto it. The chicken was super fried and tasted unsettling. And the fries were too hard, like they were almost raw potato. This was my first time eating there, and the last.
