We were accompanied by a friend who has been patronizing Swans since the 60's. The food and beer were great and the service on both sides of the counter was also great. Loved the history from the the pics on the wall and the stories from our friend.

Swan market is a great place to pick up food to bring home, but it's also a fantastic place to eat in. The space is small but the atmosphere is cozy and everyone is so friendly! I absolutely recommend this place, whether you're stocking up for a cookout at home or looking for a place to grab lunch. Just pay attention to which days they're open because they're not open every day.

It's a very straight forward place. There is a deli counter in the back, and the rest of the floor space is tables and chairs (with a small German / European grocery section along one wall. They have good authentic food and a pretty solid beer selection. (They also have sodas and such if that's more your speed). I wouldn't go everyday, but it's a nice hearty meal as often as you want that. Parking can be a bit tough. There are only 3? spaces in their lot out front, but there is street parking if you are willing to walk a few hundred feet. It's more of a lunch place, so they aren't open all day, which means if you go at the wrong time, you are gonna be waiting in line for a seat. The staff have always been nice and on top of things.

Best German food in New York State. Their Jaeger schnitzel is my favorite. Very small place, with limited seating... but worth any wait. Great deli too. Staff is wonderful.

We got there right at opening and it was already starting to get busy! Definitely go early if you want seating. The service was fast and friendly. We loved everything we got and of course the beer!! Brownie points to the guys who broke out singing in a German song and then chugged their beer, definitely added to the vibe.

Went here on a Friday, it was quite packed but really welcoming. Had the sampler platter and got some German chocolate. The staff was fast and professional. Will be back here in the future!!!!

I stopped by today to buy some bratwurst and hamburger ground beef and bought some of their creamy liverwurst man it is the best liverwurst I've ever eaten in 63 years. Delicious because it's fresh thank you for your service to your community "Swans" Prost 🍻🍻🍻

Excellence. Delicious German offerings. This is German Market sells the best of the wurst. The best knackwurst in NY state and everything they make is yummy. They serve daily lunches with quite a few options.I ordered goulash ... it brought me back to Germany. So good . Thank you Swan Market.! Also the people are friendly and efficient. The place is priced fairly and clean.

If unsure, get the Sampler Plate, a little bit of everything, delicious. Sat by the entrance and it started snowing so it was cold everytime someone came in/left, pretty tight there. Friendly helpful staffs.

Good German food but not the best I have had. The sausage flavors are fine but the links are not cooked very well. I think they are just steamed and barely warm. I prefer grilled. The side dishes are very good, but overall the portions are small. The sausage sampler platter only has two links. For the high cost I would think they could give you at least three. It's worth trying once, and if you like German food you will probably appreciate it more than I.
