This is by far the BEST place to get a chicken finger sub. The bread to chicken ratio was perfect. Also, their pizza is delicious. Tony Pepperoni is our families favorite place to get local pizza.

We came into New York with high expectations on the Pizza since we here that there's nothing like it. And I have to say so far there isn't from our experiences, tonight we had Tony Pepperoni and one word that comes to mind is WOW. THIS pizza place is awesome, it goes to show you that small places have great food and the staff at Tony Pepperoni are all friendly and their food like I said is Wow. We had the Daily Special that came with wings and not only was the pizza great but so was the wings. They went out of their way to make our experience great which I'm sure they do for all their customers as we sat and waited I heard the friendliness of their voices and saw the smiles on their faces. I see why this restaurant has 4 stars but my rating I'm giving them 5 stars if I could give more I would. And we definitely will go back to this wonderful pizza restaurant again. Keep up the great customer service and Wowtastic food guys, I wish other restaurants could be as good as you are with food and hospitality.

Pizza is my favorite food hands down. I'm 52 and i grew up when Pontillos was Pontillos! This is the best pizza I've had in 20 plus year's. Finally a good pizza, yes.

We now live in Gates but we're former Henrietta residents and willing to travel just to get Tony Pepperoni's. Everytime we get our pizzas they never disappoint. The workers there are very sweet and very fast as well.

This restaurant is brilliant! Very clean and family oriented! The food is phenomenal! My favorite was the tuna sandwich! I wish we had this restaurant in Chicago! Been there a couple times now. Lunch special is the way to go. Lots of different pizza's to chose from. I wouldn't recommend the garbage plate pizza, but the other ones I have had were very good. Pepperoni, Cheese, and the sweet chicken were all great!

Apparently it's hard to find a pizza place in Rochester that sells slices on the weekend. Got to Tony's about 5 minutes before closing and they still hooked me up. Staff is nice and the slices are great. Close proximity to RIT Inn for any hospital visitors looking for a quick bite

Some of the best pizza around. I always have a consistently good experience here. I've only had their cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza, and Buffalo chicken pizza. ALL of them are phenomenal. If you like thin, crispy crust on your pies, go here.

I was waiting for a client at the RIT Inn & conference center decided to take a quick ride down then try Tony Pepperoni's Pizza. I never had it before excellent crust great sauce above-average slice size and right out of the oven. I would definitely go back and try some of their other items.

My family and I were in town visiting from up north. Of course knowing me, I had to order pizza, seems like a family tradition. We ended up ordering from Tony Pepperoni, and we were not disappointed. The food was very warm and fresh still from the delivery. Prices were not horrible for what you are getting. We ordered the traditional plain cheese pizza along with chicken bacon and ranch pizza, and topped it off with the buffalo parmesan garlic wings. The food was excellent and will definitely order again if in the area. Would give more stars if it would let me.

What a gem! It's a ways out, but it's like small town pizzeria like when I was a kid. Feels like LOCAL pizza, which is not thin like NYC style, nor fat like Chicago deep dish. Local. Just medium thickness, moist crust, generous toppings, lots of cheese, and great prices. They also have slices. Take out, dine in, delivery. What a find. It's worth the drive.

Tonight was the first time we ordered from here. We have tried everywhere in the city, as we live closer to Gates. We were NOT disappointed with our food, and we're glad we took the drive to pick it up! The pizza was delicious, with a nice crust, and loaded with pepperoni and cheese. The mango habanero wings were delicious, and were the gems we were looking for! I loved the country sweet wings, and they were so huge too!!! We will be back for more!

The plain pie we ordered had the perfect amount of cheese and sauce. The bread was thicker throughout the whole pie. The ingredients were of decent flavor. Combined together this made one good pie. The price was a tad on the higher side. This might have been my favorite pie, too bad I don't live close.

I love pizza, and I'm picky when it comes to it. Tony's is by far the best pizza in Rochester. I picked up a couple of slices for my lunch and my tastebuds are singing like angels from the heavens. Two slices, with a 20 ounce bottle of Coke and a cookie for 8 bucks you can't be beat. The staff is very friendly there, restaurant is clean and well lit. Definitely will be returning!

I've eaten more pizza than anyone I know. I've had pizza all over the United States from my business travels and I like to compare. I can tell you that over the last sixty years I've never had better...anywhere. The owner and staff are outstanding in both the products they sell and the service they offer. Every time I pass through Rochester I make it a point to stop and have lunch there. GREAT PIZZA!

Alright, I have lived in Henrietta for years now, and have known about Tony Pepperoni in all that time. Not once did I ever seriously consider getting a pizza there. I am a marketer and I thought the name was silly but the logo was even worse. But my step child said that they wanted that pizza. So we got it. What took me so long? This is amazing pizza - the best pizza outside of Rome, Buenos Aires and NYC that I have had. It has to be like the fictitious pizzeria in Billions - Cappanello's. The crust, the sauce it is just great. I like to cook and always try to reverse engineer things I love when I eat out. I surrender. I won't try making my own Tony Pepperoni pizza, there is little hope I can match it and why bother when the price is so reasonable. Love you Tony Pepperoni.

The pizza is amazing. The sauce is perfecto! I also love the bread for subs. My go to is the steak sub and the Italian assorted. The service is always impeccable and I appreciate their presence in the Town of Henrietta!

On Friday night, August 27, my wife, daughter and I arrived at a hotel in the Rochester area after moving furniture and driving all day. It was a layover en route to Pittsburgh. Exhausted and hungry, we looked on our phones for food that would satisfy our hunger. Tony Pepperoni’s popped up and we liked their extensive menu. Of course, we figured, if we placed an order, it was going to show up late, cold, and incorrect as so many have during our “road trips” in other cities over the years. NOT WITH THIS PLACE! The gentleman that took over order over the phone clarified (twice) all the details of the order and told me it should be delivered in approximately one hour. 50 minutes later, another gentleman showed up at our hotel room door with piping hot, delicious food, exactly the way we asked for it with paper plates and plastic utensils (since we were in a hotel room). Yes, there food is excellent, but it’s their attitude, detail and service that puts them in a completely different league. I don’t know how frequently I’ll get to the Rochester area, but if I’m ever there again, Tony Pepperoni is my go to place. They were fantastic!

We moved to Henrietta recently and missed our old pizza spots. We tried a few but were unsuccessful in finding a replacement. Then my coworker mentioned Tony Pepperoni, and have found my replacement and have not ordered anywhere else since. The food is great, the staff are very patient and kind, and their delivery time is always impressive. Everyone is welcome to their opinion, but I recommend Tony Pepperoni for your dinner tonight!

We have been buying pizza from Mark's for years. We were wrong. Tony has amazing pizza - soft crust with a slight crunch, not overly thick, and cheese is high quality. The wing sauce is on point, nothing crazy but consistently good. They are our new pizza place. I stopped in to grab a pizza during the storm, they were really busy. They had everything ready in 20mins. Very impressed.

One of the best pies you can find around Rochester. Nothing cheap about the taste of their food. They obviously use superior ingredients. I never feel queasy after eating anything they make. We discovered Tony Pepperoni’s Pizza at the Rochester Jazz Festival. The pizza slices were an excellent value and very popular. We couldn’t wait to order a whole pizza. We ordered an extra large with mushrooms, sweet peppers and a thick crust. This pizza was even better. It was delicious.

I’m in town for a conference. I am hosting a pizza luncheon in a few days and have been riding around Rochester tasting and looking for authentic pizza. Most pizza so far have been mediocre, at best. I skipped this place at first because of the name and a few bad reviews. I was wrong as are several of the poor reviews. Although the crust is a little more “doughy” than what I would like, overall, the pizza rocks. The sauce is delicious and dead-on authentic. I just purchased five pies for my luncheon.

Came all the way from southern Ulster County NY to see the eclipse and came across this joint. I was welcomed by very nice staff and the service was amazingly quick and easy. The pizza was undoubtedly one of the best that i've had out of town! They also offer a free cookie with 2 slices of pizza on lunch hours and the cookies are so freaking delicious. I 100% recommend this restaurant to all locals and tourists! You guys rock!!

Good food for sure but it seemed like the staff didn’t want us to be there. Pies of pizza is the best deal but beyond that the value falls off. Better than your average run of the mill cheap pizza joints and I would eat pizza from here again, just probably carry out.

Ordered a stromboli and extra-large pizza for delivery last week and was told it would be a half hour; I was in no hurry, so I agreed. Food arrived a little earlier than expected! Pizza had good taste and they were not stingy with the pepperoni, but the pizza's outer crust was a little tough to chew. The stromboli, however, was to die for. Perfect crust, perfect fillings (pepperoni and sausage), and it was freakin' HUGE...you could easily make 2 meals out of it. As soon as I log off I'm ordering another one!

A pickup pizza place. They were friendly enough, and the calzone was good. Best thing? TWO cups of marinara sauce! Why are so many places stingy with the marinara?

The calzone here is huge and is enough for about 2. The taste is really good. The only negative point is that during the summer it gets really hot in the restaurant and if you're eating there, you will definitively feel it.

As Italian it's very hard for me find a pizza that remember me the peninsula! Even if different this pizza made from Tony is good! The workers are nice and efficient, a good place for a fast lunch.

Great pizza! Great calzones! Only issue I ever had, which has been on many occasions in the past, is your order being ready when they tell you it will be. One time I waited nearly 2 hours. The last 2 times I went it was right on time, so perhaps this issue is less likely to happen now.

Been going to this place for a while. Normally you walk in, grab a couple slices, pay, and you're out the door in under 5 minutes. This time they seemed to have had a huge catering order or something. They didn't have any pizzas ready to serve, had to wait a long time. I'm unlikely to make this restaurant my first choice for a quick slice again.

Normally we love our pizza from here, but this time when we ordered an extra large pizza and asked for it in pie form not squares and also wings we were disappointed. Our food finally got to us over an hour later and was luke warm. The pizza came in cut up squares.

This pizza was...meh!!! The reviews gave me hope for more. The crust was chewy on one side and not quite done on the other. The biggest thing for me was that the sauce had no sweetness. We honestly did not care for the pizza here. Ordered a large pepperoni. It had a strange smell to it that didn't match the taste and the crust was much to hard/dry. We were told 20 min, but it was 30-35 before it was ready. Quite expensive too.

I ordered the daily special from the in store menu, one large cheese pizza and a dozen wings for $29.99. I pointed to the special as I ordered. Instead of $29.99, I was charged $17.95 for the pizza and $14.95 for the wings, for a total of $32.90 plus tax. The pizza was similar to Little Caesars' $5.00 large cheese pizza but better. I don't believe it was worth more than $8.99. I waited about fifteen minutes for my order and no other customers were there or came in during my stay. I got there at 7:00 p.m on a Monday. The wings were very good and reasonably priced. Maybe I shouldn't say that or they might raise the price.

My fiance and I ordered one calzone and one stromboli. We received two calzones. Except mine had mozzarella and no ricotta (like a stromboli!). So my fiance called and asked if it was a mistake, and was told that "the shape didn't matter" and sometimes they just make strombolis in the shape of a calzone if they feel like it. That is literally what they said on the phone. It wouldn't matter as much if the stromboli wasn't more expensive than a calzone, but it is. We didn't get what we paid for and it appears that they don't know what a stromboli actually is. So order pizza if you want, but don't waste money on stromboli. Just order a calzone and save the extra cents.

I ent on line to there menu to place an order, only to find out that the price online is WRONG. I ended up paying $5.00 more for my lunch and all that was said was "oh the website is wrong, the price is $14.95" So not right..... No apologies for the inconvenience. I have always loved Tony's food, but at least offer to honor YOUR MISTAKE.

Was happy about how quickly my food arrived. My wings were tasty but to oily my calzone had too much ricotta cheese the mozzarella was ok. I asked for a grilled chicken salad and got chicken in a can bites instead. Worst of all I became ill in which it came out off both ends🤮🥵💩. Needless to say I will never eat here again😡 😵. Called and placed order, I was 10 min away. They told me it would be 20 to 25 min, no problem. Got there in 15 and it was done. Got it home, and it was on the verge of being almost burnt. Crust was quite hard. Pricing shown on Google they would not honor, almost 60% higher when I got there. Flavor was good though. My kids were starving so they ate it, but I was very disappointed.

The sauce was almost non existent and there was way too much fresh garlic—I’ve been tasting it even after brushing twice. The crust is really chewy and tastes weird. The guy who took my order was super nice though!

Delivery - Slow. Food was cold Accuracy - Ordered a wrap and they delivered a sub. All food was cold. Hamburger sub was lack luster. Cob salad was awful. Low quality ingredients.

Total bummer - they confused our order time (which was ASAP est. 20-25mins) with a delayed order. So our pizza wasn't ready when we got there. We had to request a refund since we were just passing through. Otherwise, the pizza is normally very good. We just can't take a chance anymore time-wise.

I ordered a rather large lunch for our office around the corner~ the morning of I call to ask for the delivery 15 minutes earlier, I'm told there is no order for me! Oh great! Hmmm...why did I give you my phone number??? The owner then gets on the phone telling me that the reason there is no order for me is that I tried to use two coupons and they did not put the order through!!!! Hmmmm.....why didn't anyone mention this when they took my credit card number for payment and Hmmmmm....let's see, why did I give you my phone number???? Well, Mr. Owner says to me, we offer corporate 10% off of their order the coupons are for people trying to feed their families!!! Oh wait, is that discrimination?? Telling me that some can use a coupon and others cannot! And again...Hmmm....why did you take my phone number again???? We do a massive amount of business with you and you have the nerve!!! Not anymore~ your pizza is NOT that good!!! There are others that are much better and guess what???? They honored your price on the coupon, twice!~

I called and they just picked up and hung up on me without ever saying a word. Guess I won't try this place. Don't recommend after that.

Steak sub don't look very appealing

I’m not sure how they have a 4.4 star review, unless they had a lot of friends and family give them reviews. This was probably one of the worst pizza and wing places we’ve had. Ordered 2 medium pizzas, one white with broccoli and tomato, one red with pepperoni. Plus 2 dozen wings, 1dz Buffalo mild the other dz honey garlic parm. $74 and change?? WTH?!? Then to top it off everything tasted AWFUL!! The pizza dough is tough and tasteless, the sauce was salty, barely any cheese, and how the hell does pepperoni taste like smoked ham? The wings were supposed to be extra crispy and were soggy. The Buffalo sauce was a poor excuse for sauce and the honey garlic parm was vomitus. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT ORDER HERE!!

Among all of the pizza I have tried in the Rochester region... this by far is the worst I have ever tried. I order a large pizza and was extremely disappointed with the finished product. As a kid who grew up in the food industry I will be the first to tell everyone cheese and sauce are definitely on the cheaper end. It is a shame.In my opinion I would go to Guida’s Pizzeria for the best pizza in the Rochester region.

Went here for lunch today and the older guy with the Bills hat seemed to be annoyed with everything I asked. I asked for pricing...bad attitude, I asked for slices of pizza...he sighed like I'm asking for too much. After I finished eating I asked for a bag to put my box in and he acts like he doesn't want to give me a bag. Not sure if he is an employee or if he is the owner... But you should definitely treat your customers with more respect than that, especially since it's customers that actually keep the lights on and your customers are the reason you get paid. Food was decent...but I'm probably not going back for lunch, along with those company orders. Good luck to you all.

Updated on Dec 17, 2022 Four years ago, I wrote: Best pizza I’ve had, and even the gluten free pizza is amazing! The photo shown is from that time. We had been long time customers of over 14 years, and it became more frequent as we had more children, with frequent weekend orders, and celebration occasions of 4+ sheets at a time. The ownership seemingly changed some time just before COVID if I recall correctly, and shortly after, apparently due to understandable supply issues, both the pepperoni and cheese greatly changed to a significantly lesser quality. We were informed it was temporary, so we continued ordering periodically, in hopes of them being able to source the original ingredients in the near future. On multiple occasions, we were informed it was back to normal, but we quickly realized it most certainly was not. We traditionally have ordered extra cheese and pepperoni, and as you can see in the original photo, the cheese was full-fat with a proper melt so it was full of flavor and would stretch. They also used to put on extra cheese when you paid for it. Now, on many occasions, with tonight being our final, their cheese is akin to a cheap bagged cheese that uses starch to prevent caking, and is low fat content and low moisture. The cheese does not melt together properly and instead of it stretching, it makes a clean break. The closest comparison is a budget frozen pizza, lower quality than Aldi. I would have continued giving them time, but what changed tonight is they told my wife once again it was back to normal, and when we again saw it was not, I called back and spoke with the manager, only to be informed that it’s the same they’ve always sold… and that he had worked there for 4 years. I assure you, it is far from how Tony’s pizza used to be, so either the manufacturer made a significant change, the distributor changed vendors, or Tony’s is sourcing from elsewhere. Tony’s also has charged us for extra cheese and extra pepperoni, as we’ve requested all these years, but on all our recent orders they have failed to actually put it on the pizza, even though they charged us for it. Tonight was our farewell to Tony Pepperoni, and miss the original owner(s), Hopefully a better pizza shop opens in Henrietta. Until then, I’ll drive to the Bushnell’s Basin Pontillo’s…. Which is quite unlike any other Pontillo’s I’ve come across.
