Got a coffee and overnight oats. The oatmeal was AMAZING! Great size portion with fresh fruit. The coffee was great, good flavor. Will definitely be coming here again. Great stop before hitting the beach.

Love this place. Who needs a Starbucks when you have Rockaway Roasters and their wonderful staff. Favorite food bites here are the overnight oats bowl, protein balls and the backdoor bacon waffle......Acai bowl is also so good.

Try the pesto mozzarella sandwich, it was really damn good along with a veggie drink. A few weeks ago I also had the red velvet waffle which was also damn good. Customer was nice and the price was ok.

Neat little coffee shop in the Rockways. Has a real hip design with industrial accents. Good place to grab a quick meal or your daily pick me up.

Great place, AC on blast on a hot day! Ordered Pitaya bowl and nitro ice coffee. I recommend that. Price average, not cheap nor expensive.

Made a quick pit stop here to refuel. This is ideally situated 1 block from bike path. The coffee options are plenty. We did not try any food as we just finished brunch. Grabbed my dose of caffeine and sat outside on the bench. The day was sunny and street was quiet for 1 pm. Was able to use the washroom upon request. The staff was friendly and also allowed another cyclist to bring their bike indoor. Will definitely come again & try the energy balls…

My fave dirty iced chai on Far Rockaway. I like to stop here right before heading over to the beach. They can get REALLY busy, so be mindful of a wait. The food, bec/ açaí bowls, dirty chai’s, are all classics that I highly recommend. Right down the block from the q53 and q22, as well as other stores.

I really like the aesthetic of this place! Pitaya bowl was delicious! Taking away a star because me and my bf did not like the croissants .. they were burnt and one of them had a weird crusty topping on it? It was edible but wouldn’t recommend - stick to the smoothie bowls. The waffle also looks good, I’ll try that next time.

I’ve been coming here for years, and it was always a place I loved. I haven’t been back in a few months, but when I walked in today at 2:30, the employees looked annoyed that I was there. I said hello, and my greeting was returned with “the kitchen is closed”. I asked if I could still order coffee and was told yes, and then still waited to order. The woman taking our order seem inconvenienced by our presence. My friend asked if they could make a London Fog, and she got a nasty “a what???” in response. I asked what time their kitchen closes and suggested they update the website to reflect that. My suggestion was not taken kindly. I received my latte, which was incredibly hot, with scalded (bad tasting) milk, and no Java jacket. This was a local spot I loved for years. I moved away, and my friends told me they’ve had terrible experiences recently, but I didn’t believe it until I saw it for myself. Very unfortunate.

The shop was empty on a Tuesday morning, my husband and I were the only customers at the shop. The young lady behind the counter did not greet us as we entered or approached the counter. We were standing at the cash register while the barista walked back and forth cleaning her station and prepping for the next customer. This was my initial thought, I figured she would smile and ask us to wait briefly, but she didn't even acknowledge we were standing at the cash register. I gave her another couple of minutes and unfortunately, she never asked to take our order. I left the shop and a lady standing out front asked if we had been helped since we were walking out empty-handed. I explained the situation she said I'm the cook, I'll make your order, please come back inside I will help you. She did not allow us to walk away, she held the door open and ushered us back inside. She took our order and was very courteous at which point the barista prepared our drinks and charged our card. If it were not for the cook being so insistent and courteous, I probably would have not made a purchase. The coffee was rich, the latte was prepared perfectly, no sugar was required, great tasting coffee. The waffles were hot, fluffy, and topped with fresh fruit. The shop is quiet and clean, and their coffee is delicious but unfortunately, customer service is not their forte. The only words the barista exchanged with us included the total amount for our order.

I used to eat at this location all the time and was sorta enjoying it. I’m new to far Rockaway so getting to know all the hot spots to eat here has been a challenge because most places are overcharging because they claim it’s all “FRESH” ingredients. I think it’s just a play on the convenience and not having many options out here. Neither here or there. . . One day they messed up my order and I was also having a really bad day. I called to let them know it was messed up and they refunded me right away. The following visit after I went in person to show them a photo to prove I was being honest and I wasn’t lying but they didn’t really seem to care and even had a bit of an attitude when serving me. I also would call before hand to place my order and I noticed after the incident they stopped answering my call for take out. I know this to be true because I would call from any number but mine other days just to confirm my suspicion and turns out I was right because they picked up every number BUT mine. One day I went to ask them about it and the guy (Louis) who’s usually real chill told me word for word “ We don’t always have time to answer the phone especially if we’re busy” as if he didn't hear me say I called from other numbers to confirm my suspicion and it seems like it’s just my number that’s not getting answered. I let it go and remained friendly. I wanted to write a review about my experience but wanted to see if this weird energy would just go away but it never did. I decided to stop doing business there because it seemed like I was being punished for my order being made incorrectly. Not to worry I can just make a waffle at home instead of paying $15 for it 🤷🏾‍♂️

When I walked in I was immediately given the rudest stare possible by a white woman working there. After that I ordered a sandwich, the lady who made my food said “be careful it’s extra juicy” and wrapped up my food to give it to me. When I left and opened it I only found half a sandwich. To me, given the nature of how all the workers were laughing and treating me I don’t believe this was an accident. I wasn’t rude at all just confused at first where the cash register was, I said please and thank you and smiled and apologized for being confused so there was no rudeness on my end to warrant this behavior. I have tried to call to tell them about the sandwich and no one picked up even though they are open.
