What a great place. Very nice workers. The atmosphere was awesome. The blizzards were amazing. I was impressed with the military discount they offered as well. I really felt honored by them and felt special when I left. This isn't something most places make veterans feel. I honestly left and thought to myself, they care. I watched a family with a child who had special needs come in after me. The employees who worked there made them feel welcomed and at home. It's hard to find good, honest help like this. Great job, Rockdale! Maybe it's something in the water. You should share your water with other towns in central Texas.

Came in 30 minutes before closing. Received great service and fresh, hot food. Anyone that has ever worked in the food service industry knows you start your closing prep work 30 minutes to an hour before closing. The staff gave great service and provided quality food with a smile while they were preparing to close. Good job ladies and gentleman!

We went to DQ and had a good experience. We were in the drive-through. The only problem was they brought the blizzards before the meal.

We were diving back from a football camp and stopped in for a burger. Employees were friendly, food was warm and just what we needed. Ordered a blizzard and was asked if we wanted it at the end of our meal. Loved that extra touch of attention.

I keep getting caught off guard when it comes to fast food restaurants. Decent same food as always and the service was slow but thats to be expected from DQ. $60 plus some change for 4 people. Ouch. Hard to recommend spending that amount for a fast food restaurant. Otherwise, It was like most DQs

The food is always good. Burgers are better than average and the other meal items are the same. Good fries. As with any Dairy Queen, the desserts are hard to beat. Hometown atmosphere and friendly employees round out the experience. Definitely give them a try.

When I ordered a banana split, I wasn't aware that DQ now serves "quarter" banana splits. One banana cut in quarters. It took forever for them to make. The atmospher was terrible. A tweeked out homeless person kept walking around looking into the windows at diners. Then came inside. He walked around then sat and stared at customers.

How do you serve a cold cheeseburger when I'm the only customer in the drive thru and no one else is inside? The cheese wasn't even melted and the fries were cold too. Plus the drive thru window area smelled like an ash tray. Albeit the staff was friendly and the long wait was expected but the food quality was underwhelming. Dairy Queen is usually a great road trip stop but not this one.

We waited about 40 mins before we could place our order. Once I was able to place it I had to repeat it about 4 times. My daughter had to explain to her how to make a double fudge cookie dough blizzard and she ended up with a brownie blizzard. We didn't even get any napkins with our order.

I ordered a steak finger basket and a chicken basket. The chicken was over cooked AGAIN. It tasted old and reheated. It's not the first time. I have given it a second chance. I won't order it again. Also, the fries were not fresh either.

This store needs management. This was ridiculous I’ve lived in Rockdale for two years and haven’t been to the Dairy Queen I’ve been to the one in Cameron and the food was terrible but not to mention first time in a dairy queen. So tonight I decided to try the Rockdale store out. Not only did they not give not give me life for my ice cream and it spilled all in my cup holders cause I didn’t know they melt that fast more than McDonald or sonic. But they were rude extremely rude and asked me to pull into the ditch to go around when I went back thru the line. There was a sign there and was like I’m in a big sec I’m going not for and the lady was like you’ll be fine so I went around and not on purpose ran it over. It’s not my fault I’m in a van and wide. Haven’t even tried the food but will not be coming back!

I ordered a small blizzard and heath cupfection at 2:23pm. Waited 20 minutes while two parties ordered more items each and got their items and left the dang restaurant before us before I said anything. The guy at the counter shrugged his shoulders then chit chatted with the other two there for bit then decided to make up my order. Then we got an earful from another worker talking real loud about her plantar fasciitis and the kind of shoes that she deems acceptable. I’m hosting people from out of town that have never been to a Dairy Queen before and this was supposed to be a nice little outing. Gross.

We went there at 845 pm. They close at 11 pm. I ordered a steak country basket and a chicken country basket. Neither came with gravy. Neither came with fresh fries. Very soggy fries. When I went in to ask for my gravy they proceeded to say they didn't have anymore. Mind you, it's still 2 hours before closing time. And they didn't want to make any so I left jalitos ranch. I wont go back the this place.

Stopped by as we were passing through town. The girl taking our order was extremely rude when we were asking about flavors of the blizzards. We asked her about the different types and she rudely replied “It’s on the menu” and never took the time explaining anything to us. We haven’t had Dairy Queen in awhile and love their blizzards and dip cones. It’s disappointing to know that this is how they treat their customers. Definitely not coming back to this place again.

One of the worst place ever...no wonder it stays empty....after asking the manager for hot water for some tea...I was told I could buy cold tea...so I stayed to her that I trying to stop coughing due to my asthma...at which time she stated that they didn't have water hot enough for tea...so I strolled my way over to Brookshire Brothers got some hot water...as soon as I walked through dairy queens door the manager stated to me...like she really had anything else going on since the place was empty with the exception of a worker on lunch...no outside food for the hot water I had gotten...even as I had just sat there coughing all over the place...did you notice the puddle out front and around the establishment???
